Hulala – Pretty Burger & Drinks in Düsseldorf

That was the first time, but not the last.

Amazing burger, maybe the best one I’ve ever had.

Pretty for Instagram, we ordered drinks and dessert there. I liked the guava lime drink, but the cheesecake was quite small for almost €6. On the plus side, they included free popcorn with the drink. I'd happily go back for drinks.

Hulala is very well located and the place is clean. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I really loved the vibe of the restaurant, it felt relaxed and cool. The burgers were delicious I definitely recommend this place!

I think it's a cute and energetic new-generation cafe where you can get burgers and drinks. Their cocktails are good, the portions are small but delicious.

NEVER AGAIN!!! Worst burger joint I've EVER been to. Ordering was quick and easy via mobile phone. The sodas and iced teas tasted so disgusting I can't even describe it. The burgers were like McDonald's, and the fries were nothing special. The service was abysmal. I don't want to badmouth the place, but the waiters were collecting and stacking plates with cafeteria trolleys. A mix between McDonald's and a cafeteria...

It was very delicious and the atmosphere was lovely.

Hunger makes you eat it. You can't complain for the price.

What a great place to have a drink! Since not everything is open on Sundays in Düsseldorf, we decided to have an Aperol Spritz here. You can place your order yourself at a self-service kiosk and then sit and wait for it to be brought to your table. The cozy atmosphere in the restaurant really made me happy. It’s nicely decorated and not too crowded.

The ordering process and the serving of the dishes were super fast. The food was delicious and very nutritious. We had the protein salad. The staff is incredibly friendly. The ambiance is very aesthetically pleasing and clean. We felt very comfortable. 🥰✨

We were hungry and spontaneously decided to go to this restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, the food delicious, and the staff incredibly friendly and attentive. We highly recommend it and will definitely come back.

Delicious burgers. Clean establishment. The only downside is that they only sell their own drinks like lemonade and mocktails, not regular soft drinks like cola.

Unfortunately, it's no longer exclusively vegan. A real shame. I could understand it if they had decided to expand to vegetarian options, but to now offer meat products under the guise of "ethical flexibility" is truly morbid. We always enjoyed it; I hope this move pays off for the owners—you won't be seeing me again.

Everything was great and tasted good, but unfortunately the food wasn't really hot, only lukewarm.

The bowl was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. The side dishes we ordered were also really tasty. The drinks were equally delicious – all in all, a very nice place with a great atmosphere ☺️

The burger tasted good, but the quality suffers significantly when the restaurant is busy. The brioche was ragged and the fries undercooked on a Saturday – unacceptable for €20. No replacement fries were sent after they were returned.

Delicious lunch menu with a burger and homemade iced tea. Cozy decor, and you get a delicious extra (popcorn) with your order. That always gives me that extra special feeling.

I was there at lunchtime and didn't have to wait very long. The cheeseburger was really good. The service was great, I'll gladly come again.

The food is great, the menu has plenty of choices for burgers, snacks, desserts beverages hot & cold, the prices are the best in the city and the ambience is very chic with a cozy vibe. You can sit at the table and place an order via the QR code and the food just comes to your table. Highly recommended!

It was absolutely wonderful! The music created a lovely atmosphere. The matcha was incredibly delicious! A little insider tip 🤫 the vanilla one is amazing! 💐

The self-service kiosks are very convenient and work perfectly. There's plenty of seating and the place is a good size. The coffee was okay, but unfortunately I didn't like the matcha at all. The fries weren't anything special and the burger was just okay – overall solid, but nothing particularly memorable.

I really liked the location and the overall presentation. The main course, a burger, was quite alright, and the side dishes were also perfectly acceptable. However, what was irritating was the entire service concept. There was hardly any table service; it felt almost like a self-service fast-food outlet. This unfortunately detracted from the experience. The coffee and dessert were truly disappointing. The coffee had an extremely unpleasant taste, and the dessert was also quite bad. Therefore, I can only give it three out of five stars. I honestly don't understand where all the good reviews come from. For me, it's not a restaurant I would visit again. There are simply too many other really good alternatives.

unfriedly staff: seemed very unmotivated and didn't smile; food was ok, but fries were not crunchy and I was still hungry after the cheeseburger. my clothes smelt very much of fast food restaurant, also the day after.

The food was very good. The decor is really lovely. The impression is never slightly marred by the rather high noise level and the fact that it's a fast-food concept designed for high customer throughput. This somewhat contradicts the actual ambiance. Sitting there doesn't quite create a cozy atmosphere.

I had one of the best burgers I've ever had. You can order from the screen. The atmosphere is absolutely perfect. The vegan ingredients taste like they're made with regular meat. Even though I'm not vegan, I had a vegan burger and it was delicious. The staff was so kind that an Albanian friend brought me two ice creams: caramel and chocolate.

A mini-vacation right in the heart of Düsseldorf! 🌴🍔✨ Super relaxed atmosphere, great drinks (the "Berry Thyme Lemonade" was incredibly refreshing) and really good soul food. My highlight: the Truffle Smash Burger with amazing fries and the Salted Caramel Soft Serve to finish: 10/10! Perfect spot for a girls' night out, a lunch date, or a relaxed evening with friends.

We were drawn in by the beautiful setting. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. We only ate because we were starving. The fries were almost cold, the burger was almost cold, and the taste was truly awful. I don't know what all the hype is about. We thought it was bad and far too expensive. Even McDonald's is tastier, sorry.

The background music was pleasant, not too loud to disturb conversations. I didn't order any food, but the limoncello spritz was delicious, the decor was attractive, and everything was clean. Everything arrived quickly, and the service was friendly.

We had the Pistachio Ice Bun dessert here once, and it was really delicious. We then went back four more times just to order the dessert, and each time it wasn't available! My favorite excuse was: "The ice cream machine is being cleaned, so we're out of ice cream today" – it's like McDonald's! Why is the dessert even on the menu?! We went at different times of day, sometimes at 1 p.m., sometimes at 5 p.m., but it was never available...

A delicious burger spot with a creative theme and tasty food! Especially for vegans, there's a great selection; the burgers are a good size and very flavorful. The drinks are also a great alternative to typical soft drinks and not too expensive at all. Even if the Hawaiian theme isn't your thing, Hulala is worth a visit for the food alone!

We had a delicious lunch with our group of friends. It was prepared quickly, looked delicious, and tasted fantastic! Afterward, the friendly staff gave us a shot on the house :)
