Hulala – Pretty Burger & Drinks in Düsseldorf

Great vegan burger place! The food was fresh and arrived very quickly.

So I can't understand the very good reviews! The atmosphere has something of a canteen. Even though we had reserved, 3 tables were pushed together when we arrived. The service was very friendly, although a starter only came after asking twice, but then we were given free fries as an apology, which was very nice! The starters and side dishes (especially the corn! and the dips) were very tasty, but the burgers, which we were there for of course, were a disaster! The patty had a consistency that was far too fine and the smell was reminiscent of cat food. There are actually much better alternatives now! The parmesan substitute wasn't good either. So we won't be going there again anytime soon...

I had a very bad experience here, they do not advertise that the meat is vegan. They just call the patties Halulu. Should be illegal! We did not finish our food, disgusting taste, strange texture! €42 wasted!

The first thing I noticed was the beautiful shop and then there was the very well-trained staff who were there for you and read our order straight from our eyes. The drinks and the food were excellent and I'm very impressed with the staff from the location and the food

Burger was good, but I've had better burgers. Price/performance was okay. I would prefer the fries to be thick.

Pleasant atmosphere, good portions, the juices are delicious and of course it's great that as a vegetarian/vegan you don't have to worry about the food.

One of my favorite places to eat with friends and family in Düsseldorf! I always surprise my non vegan friends and family every time I tell them the meals are completely vegan! They are really tasty and give always this comfort of homemade food! They're also pet friendly and I visit all the time with my dog

Although we were a bit critical of vegan burgers, we were taught otherwise. Everything is incredibly tasty - whether it's a burger, salad, ice cream or cake. With great attention to detail in the dishes and the furnishings. We'll definitely be back.

We looked for a place for a long time and finally decided to try this restaurant - and it was absolutely the right choice! There are incredibly delicious vegan dishes that we were very excited about. We would particularly like to highlight the excellent service: an employee from southern Azerbaijan was very helpful and friendly. Your smile made the visit even better - we especially appreciate that!

Visited Hulala in Düsseldorf for the first time today. You will immediately receive a friendly welcome from the service and you will be supported when ordering. The food is delivered to the table quickly. The atmosphere is very friendly and warmly furnished, you immediately feel very comfortable. The service is very warm. You immediately want to stay longer. The food was to die for! Highly recommended!!!

Very nicely decorated shop with certainly very Instagrammable food & drinks. Unfortunately, in terms of taste, it was an absolute flop. Dry, boring burgers and limp fries like from a bad canteen.

Absolutely recommended! The new truffle balls have it all. Absolute hammer. An absolute experience, especially for a purely vegan kitchen! The store is decorated in pleasant beige tones and offers a warm atmosphere. Price performance 10/10

Very cozy atmosphere and fast, uncomplicated service!

It is not specified but it is a vegan restaurant. The waitresses are very friendly and fast but they only serve the tables, they do not take the order. They have touch screens for ordering and the food is served fairly quickly. We ordered hamburgers. The lettuce was fresh, the 'chicken' burger was crispy and the bun was fluffy. The price seemed high to me. There are no 'regular' drinks like coke or Fanta.

Great atmosphere and really nice service especially “Maria” 🥰 We ate burgers there, absolutely delicious. Drinks also unusual and something different. The Cheezy Truffle Tots were actually really good. We'd love to come back again next year ❤️

An absolutely great café in Düsseldorf! The atmosphere at Café Hulala is cozy and inviting, perfect for a break from everyday life. I have come today with a friend and we order 2 burgers and the meet was VEGAN. I have order cheeseburger and they didn’t put me cheese and my friend had order double burger and they put just one meet🍔 was better go to McDonald’s

The café is really great, the late macchiato is delicious and the brownie is super sweet. In the restaurant there is a robot that comes to the table and gives you your dirty dishes. The staff was nice and helpful. The toilets are in the basement.

A must for vegans! But everyone else gets their money’s worth too. From the burger, salad to dessert, everything was delicious. My highlight is the Bravocado. The bacon could easily pass for real! Always happy!

Fries are completely soggy and taste like old fat, burger is not good either, way too greasy and lacks freshness. I feel nauseous and haven't finished my portion.

Super tasty, great concept! The only small minus is that there are no light or zero drinks. Beyondmeat would upgrade the store again :)

Seemed like such a nice tent -fries are lukewarm…..and very limp -burger lukewarm but tasty -coffee thrown on the table Home made drinks were really delicious A bit of a shame for such a nice looking tent...

We ordered two burgers, the chili cheese balls and fries. Priced above average for the quality. Unfortunately, the fries were tough, the chili cheese balls were more like meatballs. Urban gorillas has the better price/performance ratio and better taste.

Everything great. 100% veggie and delicious! We recommend the cheeseburger. A variant with fried mushrooms or Düsseldorf mustard would be great, but that can still happen 😉 While we're at it - coffee and cake can still be improved for the afternoon. But it remains an absolute tip for conscious burger eaters 🥳

Very very nice restaurant. You don't necessarily have to talk to the staff if you're shy, there are ordering machines. There is a cute little robo employee who helps out every now and then. The food and selection was super tasty and ready very quickly. I would happily recommend it, especially to anyone looking for good vegan alternatives :)

The decor and design are very nice, the food is good and the drinks are delicious. But nowhere does it say that this is a vegan café, not even in the selection of burgers on the menu. It was very frustrating and that's why the rating is 3🙂

Nice place, but that's it, the vegan meat was uneatable and barely warm. Expensive place, the price does not match the poor quality of the food.

We went there to eat while passing through with our dog. At first I thought it was a simple burger shop - It was more than that. The ambience is just really nice, the service is top notch, we were given a drinking bowl for our sniffing noses and the food was really tasty for the price. The store gets a 12/10 from me

I found the atmosphere incredible, a very well thought out, welcoming environment. The food was delicious and it was my birthday and they gave us something complimentary, we were able to stay in the place longer talking and we didn't feel uncomfortable. Super recommended.

Like Mäckes just cool. We really liked the very tasty castles and salad with the surfer atmosphere. No cardboard boxes, no drinking cups. Price also great. It's a shame that we only vacation here, I would come there more often.

Unfortunately not good at all! The Chickn burgers and fries tasted like old fat and were at most lukewarm. When we entered the restaurant there was neither a friendly hello nor a thank you or goodbye as we left. We weren't even asked if it was tasty even though we hadn't finished it. There wasn't much going on and yet the food was bland and the staff were inattentive. Very unfortunate. By the way, the water consisted more of ice than mineral water. …

Stylish restaurant with exclusively vegan dishes. The taste didn't blow me away that day, but I haven't tried all the dishes yet and, as we all know, it's a matter of taste whether you like it or not😄 We just didn't like the donuts as dessert because they were way too hard and we here As usual, we expected soft donuts. Still worth a visit overall.

Dry fries, tasteless burgers and drinks. I didn't see anywhere that their burgers are for vegans. So when I eat a smashed burger I just expect meat. But unfortunately, they served market frozen veggy burger patties.
