Our go-to shop when we're in town shopping. Both the regular menu and the special burgers are always worth a visit. The vegetarian selection is also excellent. Consistently friendly service and highly recommended.

Food is okay Waitresses are very unprofessional ! very rude and unwelcoming!!! She even was heating her hands over the lamps that supposed to be for heating dishes ! Yuck! 🤮 The median hafen branch is way better!!!

We went there for the first time today and were absolutely thrilled. Very friendly staff. Our special request was accommodated. And the food was simply amazing. Super delicious, everything tasted fresh. The fries were great. We'll definitely be back. It's a shame there isn't a branch in our town; we would definitely be regulars.

We were truly disappointed with our visit to Bob & Mary at Carlsplatz today. We really enjoy coming here often, but today's visit was truly abysmal. After we entered the shop at 9 p.m. as one of the last customers and ordered relatively quickly, the people next to us were already busily cleaning up. The shop had been open for about an hour and a half... Throughout our entire meal, we had the feeling the two employees were just trying to finish work as quickly as possible. In addition to the loud noise from the people clearing up and counting money, we were also billed relatively quickly after our meal, giving the impression, even if it was very polite, that we were about to leave. Not a real experience when you pay €60-70 for a meal that only lasted half an hour. That's not what we imagine a dining experience to be.

The service is very slow, we waited 20 minutes or more just to get our order.

For my wife's birthday, I took her to Düsseldorf for a weekend to see the Ed Sheeran concert. We had dinner at Bob & Mary beforehand, and it was absolutely fantastic! The waiter (Daniel) had noted that it was my wife's birthday and immediately congratulated her. We were served very quickly and were then served delicious burgers with perfectly cooked fries and chicken tenders. After dinner, we quickly packed up our things, went to the restroom, and paid. However, Daniel told us not to leave yet and surprised us with a dessert featuring "fireworks." It was a really nice surprise, and it left us feeling very happy. Highly recommended. Good food, very friendly staff, and a great location!

We ate at Bob and Mary's yesterday. The burger was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, the server was very rude and bad-tempered. He had a bald head and a rather narrow face. When we asked how long it would take until the burger arrived, he reacted very rudely, even though the question was asked politely (and after 30 minutes).

Everyone at the table enjoyed both the vegan and gluten-free dishes. The service was so friendly and cheerful, it made everyone feel right at home.

The interior design is chic and has a modern feel. The service staff seemed a bit pushy to me, asking for my every request almost every minute... It was a bit excessive. Otherwise, relaxed and quiet, making for a good conversation. I was there for dinner with Timeleft, the food was delicious, and I would gladly come back.

Great vegan burgers and delicious fries, definitely worth a visit.

The burger was spectacular both times I've eaten there. They order the meat to the desired degree of doneness, the waiters were attentive, and the place is nice. It's a bit pricey, and you have to order the fries on the side. That's my only complaint, but I'd still pay more for the quality of the food.

We haven't had such good burgers in a long time (Italian Bob or BBQ)! The waitress was also incredibly friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

Pretty good burgers, but shameful for not agreeing to heat up a baby food for a one-year-old baby. The manager didn't say a word, just refused. This is the first time we've seen this in a restaurant in any country. Avoid if you have a baby.

We were looking for somewhere to eat quite late at night near the UCI cinema; most restaurants were already closing, and then we found Bob & Mary. The menu had a ton of great-sounding dishes, and many of them are easy to adapt. There are many plant-based options. The food came quickly and was delicious. 👍 The waitress was very friendly and gave us good advice. If you're ever in Düsseldorf, give it a try 😁👍

First time in Düsseldorf and, on the recommendation of my cousin, Bob & Mary, I tried it. It was a fantastic experience and delicious food. We arrived with 11 people and were assigned a lovely spot, very atmospheric, not too bright but certainly not too dark. We were helped by Erika, the one and only, and her service was, in a word, TOP! Of course, the burger deserves a review: a truly authentic homemade burger, crispy bacon as it should be, sauce on point. Need I say more? If you're in Düsseldorf and craving a solid burger and not in the mood for fast food, stop by and ask for Erika's service! You won't be disappointed!

A truly modern and clean restaurant with friendly service. The selection is plentiful and highly recommended for a "burger joint." My burger was served medium, as promised, and the mango and jalapeño side dish was perfect for the warm weather. Even though it didn't exactly complement the burger, the house white wine is highly recommended. We'd be happy to come back if we're in the area.

Bob & Mary in Düsseldorf offers good food and friendly service. I tried the steak salad and Korean chicken bites, both were tasty. One downside is that they don’t have large water bottles. Prices are reasonable considering the location.

Great restaurant, friendly staff, and excellent service. Highly recommended. We were here with 12 young men; everyone could eat at the same time and it was super quick. This definitely won't be our last visit here.

A really good stay. We were in a group of 12, and everyone had their food served hot at the same time. The Kilepitsch on the house rounded it off.

Three of us arrived for dinner, but we had to sit inside because the terrace was full. The staff was friendly and served us quickly. The burger was juicy and well-made. The only flaw was the cooking time, as I ordered it medium-rare and it arrived practically cooked through. We ordered a side of sweet potatoes to share, which arrived perfectly. I finished the meal feeling full and satisfied. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd return for another.

Very good burgers! Good meat! Good sides! We especially like the potato dippers with sour cream. Nice people work here and enjoy eating here. Highly recommended for lunch if you're in the Old Town.

My vegan burger was great, as were the fries and dips. Unfortunately, I didn't get a glass of tap water with my wine, as I wasn't old enough; only "grandmas and grandpas" get tap water... What? One more reason to stop going to this burger joint.

The selection is good, the service is friendly, and the customization of my order is very flexible. I don't know when I last had fries this good. Contrary to many other experiences I've had elsewhere, the dips are the right proportion to the fries. Two minor flaws: - The spicy dip was a bit too runny. - I ordered Aperol with a little ice. A little more soda instead would have been appropriate.

The burgers are good, the service is decent, but the waitress says tap water is only available for children and the elderly, even though other drinks were ordered. Trying to make money off of thirst instead of enjoyment is an absolute disgrace, and unfortunately, it's still far too common in Germany.

Burgers are overpriced, drinks are served from bottles; if you want a glass, you have to tell the waiter. The fries are very dark. €14.90 for a burger and €4.50 for fries are defensively too much. You won't get full here for €19.40. Drinks are also overpriced.

A very nice restaurant; every time we visited, everything was perfect. From the service and atmosphere to the food itself: fantastic! The three of us ordered a fries plate, each with a mix of fries, fried potatoes, and sweet potatoes. A huge portion, and the dips are really good too! We were also very satisfied with the stars of the show: the burgers! Another plus: (Almost) every burger can easily be ordered vegan/vegetarian, with a variety of patties.

The burgers are incredibly delicious, no matter what you order, everything is delicious! For me, this is the best burger joint in Düsseldorf! A little tip: the cheese sauce is amazing! 😍

Possibly one of the best burgers I have ever had. The meat was cooked really well and tasted fresh not frozen. The bun was light and the burger was generously topped. The goats cheese burger was the perfect balance of sweet, salty and meaty and was a hefty portion with a side of chips. There are a variety of sauces to choose from too.

We've been there twice now. It's a cool place with really good food. A wide selection, so everyone is sure to find something. Vegans will also be satisfied here. Friendly staff, online booking possible. The value for money is also more than justified and comparatively affordable.

I have enjoyed eating burgers here for many years and have tried the menu up and down. The house limo is a dream. Of course there is a rush and waiting times when the house is full, but every minute of waiting is worth it in the end. There are real burgers here, the way they should be. Update: April 2025 Was there 3 times this year and sadly discovered that everything is different. The ingredients in the burgers are of less good quality, the buns are different, the sauces are different. It just doesn't taste like it used to. Too bad.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating, which makes the visit even more pleasant. In addition, the great location is ideal for a relaxed evening in the city or a meeting with friends. I'll definitely be back and can only recommend Bob & Mary!

Originally I was looking for a restaurant that served schnitzels (being a foreigner in Germany, it's sort of a tradition! 😋). However, we came upon the Bob & Mary and they only had burgers, which was no problem as it appeared I had one of the best burgers here I'd ever eaten! Absolutely do yourself a favor if you're looking for a place to eat with a good atmosphere and are looking for a good hamburger, this is where you want to go!!

!!Atrocious price performance!! The gluten-free selection should be highlighted positively: There are gluten-free burgers and also some other gluten-free dishes on the menu - that's definitely a plus, especially for people with intolerances. Unfortunately, the remaining experiences with the restaurant were not convincing. We were there for a friend's birthday and wanted to end the evening in a nice atmosphere. After we ordered, we had to wait a full 45 minutes for our food - when it finally came, some of it was already cold. While I was waiting, I tried to organize a little surprise for my birthday, but this was rejected outright - you "basically don't do something like that". After consultation, we at least agreed to serve a lava cake as a dessert, beautifully presented with tea lights. But this was ultimately not implemented without an explanation. Conclusion: • Gluten free burgers & meals available • Very long waiting time (45 min.) • Restless, noisy atmosphere • Partly cold food • No flexibility for birthday surprises • Price above average, but performance below average Overall, unfortunately not a place we would recommend for special occasions or a relaxed dinner.

I recently visited Bob & Mary. The advantage of this restaurant is that they also offer gluten-free burgers. The fries are fresh and crunchy, the homemade sauces are very tasty. Burgers are juicy and balanced. The staff is nice and the atmosphere, especially in the evenings, is great! The only criticism is that the medium rare patties could be crispier. Otherwise great! 😋 Always my pleasure

We have been here several times and each time we are more than satisfied with the quality and presentation of the food. You can see and taste that the kitchen puts heart and soul into it. It's also pretty quick. The shop is regularly buzzing in the evening. Well, the location is of course very prominent, but sometimes I only see happy faces here. ;-) The guest room is also very cozy, you can stay here a little longer. Only the music selection takes some getting used to, a bit too much "party music" for my taste, which can get annoying after a while. The service is friendly and extremely attentive. I'll still come back... ;-)

Visited this eatery for the 2nd time in Düsseldorf. I remembered the burgers being delicious. That was the case again. Delicious food. Staff was friendly and even tried to speak Dutch. Nice decor.

From the outside, I thought the place was closed. The waitress, Celina, was really great and had a good sales pitch. I had a burger with goat cheese and jalopies. Fans of Fritz Cola will definitely get their money's worth here.

One of the best places to eat a burger in Dusseldorf

The burgers are ok, but unfortunately not anymore. If I look at the other burger pictures here, we were probably unlucky. The buns were quite large, but the contents including the patties were very small. Overall, the contents of the burgers seemed quite carelessly prepared. As already written, the taste was ok! The side dishes were super tasty! The restaurant seemed clean and well furnished, we sat upstairs, it was very warm here and there was no breeze. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive. Pricewise for me, for the quality, it's almost too expensive.

The Bob and Mary is a very nice restaurant cozy with nice seating preferably for hamburgers and fries of course. The dishes look attractive and are very tasty. The waiting time is very short, so it's also good to use during your lunch break.
