Have good memories of the place.

Attracted by the beautiful view, we wanted to try the restaurant, but we won't come back: the gyros were of poor quality (had two cartilages) and tasteless. The pulpo for €27 was tiny and I was still hungry afterwards. The children's portion of gyros with fries for €15 are cheeky. However, the service is very nice and the restaurant (including the inside) is very attractive. Nevertheless, the food didn't convince us.

A beautifully located campsite directly on the Regnitz River. It's extremely quiet and boasts beautiful old trees. The pitches are adequately spacious and well-maintained. The site also features the "Hoffmannsklause" restaurant with a lovely beer garden. A simple menu with very tasty dishes at reasonable prices. The staff is generally very friendly. The restrooms are very clean and well-maintained. There's a direct bus connection to Bamberg from the campsite. Overall, a definite recommendation.
