Personally, I found the sausage, potato, and meat combination a bit overwhelming, but it was still friendly and I was able to spend a leisurely afternoon at the outdoor seating! The wine smelled really good, but I couldn't drink it because I had a cold.

We ate here for the first time on August 5th on our wedding anniversary and were pleasantly surprised that we were there for the second time today on August 9th. The service is always friendly and on point. The food was so delicious that we would definitely come back.

All in all it was pleasant despite the heat.

Very nice restaurant, delicious food, friendly service... clear recommendation if you ever come to Bamberg. The outdoor seating area by the fountain in particular invites you to linger.

Cozy atmosphere in the central square in Bamberg. Child and parents were satisfied with food, 2 drinks per person and we were full and satisfied with 54 euros. Käsespätzle are very tasty. Plus a very individual charm with a menu in your own dialect. Gladly again!

It's a beautiful cafe with courteous staff. The food is delicious. We ordered Weiner schnitzel & breaded Schnitzel & it was absolutely gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this place.

We weren't happy with the food, I can't recommend it. The schnitzel actually consisted almost entirely of breading. What little meat there was was extremely thin. The fries were still in their shells. Everything tasted bland and wasn't seasoned. The lettuce leaves were also way too big. We were disappointed. Our criticism was not acknowledged by the staff - owner. Answer: We sell 200 schnitzels a day, so they have to be good. Not recommended !

Due to the great weather we were able to enjoy the service and food "open air". Service is very attentive, gives great recommendations and the food is very good. There is a sufficient and really good tasting vegetarian selection.

Apart from the coziness, actually like being at home in the living room, the guests are lovingly looked after. The food is really tasty and so are the schnapps. Absolutely recommended!!! We were here with my family after christmas and i must say we did not enjoy the experience at all. We have been here before but on that day the service was horrible, we were constantly ignored and the food was dry and distasteful. We took a couple of pictures, paid and left. Well this time i wouldnt recommend it, especially if its a big group. 2nd time and last time there.

If it's your first time in Bamberg, but you're only eating in the same restaurant for two days and on both evenings, then that probably speaks for itself. I have no idea when I last had such a good schnitzel and the potato salad with it was a dream. The dessert menu leaves nothing to be desired. In addition, great staff, very friendly and above all on the ball, great service in a very nice atmosphere, good to sit outside. Always my pleasure :)

Lovely place, with very polite and attentive staff. We were perfectly located in the cozy courtyard to watch the children running around the fountain. The portions are quite large. Children's fries are generally huge portions. Tasty.

We had schnitzel and salad. The schnitzel was fried in the pan as described on the menu, with breading added. Perfectly thin. Best schnitzel in a long time.

We were there on Saturday evening and got a table in front of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the outside area was only dimly lit. Our waiter was very personable and super friendly! The food came quickly and was pretty tasty. The vegetarian selection was manageable but the portion of patties with fries was completely sufficient (plus a side salad). My partner had the Leberkäse with egg and potato salad. Both were good.

Had dinner there today, booking a table online worked great. Service was very friendly and quick but not intrusive. Drinking and eating was at the table very promptly (quickly) and very tasty. It is always worth a visit, which we will do again on our next visit to Bamberg. F.B.

Zum Wohl fühlen nettes Personal

Für Freunde der deftigen fränkischen Küche. Wer auf salzarme Kost steht, geht lieber woanders hin. Preise für die Toplage direkt am alten Rathaus noch fair. Nette Bedienung und nicht so laut wie manche anderen Wirtsstuben.

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit leckeren Speisen. Wenn ich nach Bamberg zurückkomme, werde ich auf jeden Fall hier essen.

Der Service war nett und schnell, Ambiente auch gut. Kommen wir zum Essen, Portionen waren angemessen groß, heißt man wurde satt aber der Preis ist sowas von nicht gerechtfertigt für das was es ist (nur auf die Veganen Gerichte bezogen). Auf der Karte steht veganer Braten mit Klos und Kraut und Gemüseküchlein mit Kartoffelsalat. In Wahrheit ist Beides einfach Gemüsebratlinge mit jeweils anderen Beilagen. Das war sehr enttäuschend. Vor allem weil man ja essen geht um etwas zu essen was man nicht oft Zuhause macht oder es einfach zu viel Zeit braucht oder zu anspruchsvoll ist. Aber dass war wie gesagt wirklich enttäuschend. Wenn wir das gewusst hätten, wären wir irgendwo anders hin.

Ganz netter Ort, um bei nem Bamberg-Besuch was kleines zu Snacken oder einen Kaffee zu trinken. Preise sind wie für einen Laden in einer größeren Innenstadt üblich, der Klos auf dem Foto mit Soße hat 5 Euro gekostet. Das Personal war ganz freundlich, der Laden recht voll, haben mit kurzem Warten aber einen Tisch bekommen.

Das auf den ersten Blick kleine Cafe ist größer als gedacht,denn in der 1Etage gibt es weitere Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Personal freundlich und flott. Essen lecker. Der Blaubeerpfannkuchen mit Sahne ebenso wie die Leberknödelsuppe waren gut.

Wir hatten für unser Weihnachtsessen mit 15 Personen reserviert (bequem online). Aufgrund Krankheit der Teilnehmenden mussten wir am Tag der Veranstaltung auf 10 Personen reduzieren. Dies wurde am Telefon trotz der Kurzfristigkeit ganz freundlich umgesetzt. Als wir am Restaurant angekommen sind, wurden wir total freundlich begrüßt und an unsere wirklich zauberhaft dekorierten Platz geleitet und auch den ganzen Abend nett umsorgt. Obwohl wir uns durch die ganze Speisekarte gefuttert haben, kam das Essen zeitnahe zusammen und war absolut lecker. Wir haben einen wirklich schönen Abend verbracht und werden wieder kommen!

In unserer Woche in Bamberg war hier unser erster und auch der letzte Abend. Am ersten Abend konnten wir noch draußen zu Abend essen und den Abend genießen. Ein gutes Bier und Schäuferle. Am Abschlussabend saßen wir dann drinnen, da es draußen nicht mehr so angenehm zum sitzen war. Auch sehr schön.

Vielen Dank für den gelungenen Abend. Großes Lob an den Service und die Küche. Ich komme gerne wieder und kann es nur empfehlen.

O staff é 5 estrelas, atenciosos e profissionais. A comida é típica alemã. Gostámos imenso, como tal recomendo para quem visitar Bamberg.
