Good, traditional food with a magnificent view of Bamberg

The food is nothing like it used to be under the old chef. The duck was dry and the curry was more like tomato sauce… and unfortunately, they no longer have draft pilsner. It's a shame; it used to be one of Bamberg's best restaurants. Perhaps they can still recapture its former glory.

We organized a weekend getaway for our friends at the Hotel Villa Geyerswörth in Bamberg – and we were absolutely delighted. Communication beforehand was seamless, and all arrangements went perfectly. Our friends felt very comfortable at the hotel and particularly appreciated the warm service, the tastefully furnished rooms, and the beautiful location. Many thanks to the entire team for the wonderful stay – we wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and would love to return!

Very friendly staff and very tasty food.

Found it by chance in the evening, got a seat, and had a great meal (smaller portions are available on the menu)! Hardworking and friendly staff. Thank you very much, and we'll be back.
