A very warm welcome also to our dog. Great and warm ambience on a cold autumn day. Drinks came promptly, food immediately afterwards. Even a water bowl for our little one without being asked. I would love to go here again and again. Unfortunately we don't live here. But no matter if you want to eat out in Bamberg, you shouldn't miss this place.

The food was very tasty. We once had the onion meat and the chicken breast with vegetables and fries. We were very satisfied. Only the fries weren't completely convincing. Federweißer and beer were also very tasty. The atmosphere was also very pleasant and cozy. Clear recommendation and one of the best restaurants we visited in Bamberg.

Top recommendation! We went here for dinner with a group of 10 and made reservations months in advance. The service was first class. The waitresses were very courteous, but at the same time not intrusive. The restaurant has a very great and pleasant atmosphere. The food and drink selection is great. Both food and drinks came quite quickly. The food itself was very tasty, everything was perfect. Quality, taste, portion size - everything was great. Special requests were also addressed without any problems. All in all: full recommendation!

I was in the brasserie for dinner on October 2nd, 2024. The food and drinks are really good and at a reasonable price. But the team exceeded everything I have ever experienced. Unfortunately for me, I left my wallet behind. The next morning I was able to pick it up from the brasserie. Not a cent was missing. My request to leave a finder's fee for the entire team was rejected. "We don't take any money for honesty, we would really appreciate a nice review," said a team member. I would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for the honesty, the modesty, the nice service staff and the behavior that is unfortunately rare today but is so great and extraordinary - really great!!!!!

Unfortunately we weren't very happy this time. Extra requests for food could not be realized; the cordon bleu we ordered for 20 euros was unfortunately only twice as much as the lemon slice. However, it tasted very good.

A place like this in Bamberg is incredible! We were a group of 25 people on site. The reservation worked without any problems - we could order our food directly on site in the evening. Habe hier abends sehr angenehm gesessen, gegessen und getrunken - schöner kleiner Innenhof etwas am Rande der Altstadt, daher nicht gar so trubelig, dem Eindruck (und Gehör) nach viele einheimische Gäste; Speisekarte mit lokalen und internationalen Gerichten - hatte einen ganz vorzüglich zubereiteten Burger. Service sehr freundlich, aber in Stoßzeiten personell etwas überfordert.

On Friday August 30th, 2024, I was assured by phone of a table for 10 people, which I had already reserved 14 days in advance. When we arrived there was no table reserved in my name. So the brasserie was full. Points deducted for this mishap. But the highlight of the evening is yet to come. After a long back and forth, the staff pushed 3 tables together so that we could linger. After our stay, a female waiter came up to me at the door and cheekily complained about her tip. Please note: This lady received a tip of 20 euros from us. We have never experienced such impudence and think it is a shame for the brasserie to employ such staff. We are of the opinion that this woman, who says she comes from North Rhine-Westphalia, is acting in a way that is damaging to business. She felt fired immediately. One evening later we met this waitress in private clothing again in another restaurant and she also asked us about her tip. Just cheeky. I'm sorry for the brasserie, we've always been happy there and have been coming here for years, but after this event we'll avoid visiting for now. A personal conversation with the boss will take place as he was unfortunately not visible that evening. This cheeky person quits, she has no place in the restaurant.

If you like real authentic German food then you have to be here at Braserie. The Gullasch and Wienner schnitzel was very tasty 😋 and big portions. The staffs were very friendly and decor inside was cool. We have only good things to say about this place. Been here 3 times now before we travel back home to Denmark.

We were looking for a small restaurant spontaneously on the trip. We landed there and enjoyed it to the fullest. Staff super friendly and sweet. Got a dish for our daughter. And our food was super delicious. Had onion meat in a delicious dark beer sauce and schnitzel with cheese and cranberries. It was so delicious. Very "quaint" restaurant, kleon with a lot of charm in the middle of Bamberg right next to little Italy and about 50m from Bolero. (At this point I recommend parking in the parking garage, about 300m) The quality and taste of the food was impeccable. One star deducted for the quantity price ratio. Extreme by Franconian standards and even for an upscale class, the portions are still small for the comparatively high prices. The team is very young but definitely not inexperienced. Very friendly and competent. At no time were the waiters stressed (from the impression) but always patient and very attentive. Modern Franconian menu.

Wir waren zum Finalspiel der EM an einem Platz im Lokal platziert. Mit wunderbarem Blick zum TV. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut, m.E. mit einem klasse Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Alles wurde bei 5 Personen durch drei Kellnerinnen gleichzeitig serviert. Zwiebelfleisch, Schweinebraten, Pasta, Salate, alle waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Abendessen. Frisches Bier ist garantiert. Service war auch sehr freundlich!

Wir sind am Tag der Ankunft erschöpft kurz zur Altstadt geschlendert. Die Brasserie machte uns neugierig. An einem Montagabend wars recht voll, aber ging zum Glück noch ohne Reservierung. Personal war freundlich und zügig. Essen war wunderbar und für uns zwei zu grosse Portionen. Wir sind nicht so die Vielesser und haben statt je zwei nur je ein Knödel genommen. Da wo wir sassen war es verhältnismässig ruhig (draussen). Können das Restaurant weiterempfehlen.

The service was friendly and committed, responded to special requests when ordering without any problems, and the food (which had Franconian Schäuferle) was really a pleasure. After a late tour of the city, the four of us were looking for a warm pub. There was a security guard at the entrance to the brasserie who unfortunately wasn't allowed to let us in before 10 p.m. because we hadn't made a reservation. We wanted to wait 5 minutes in the cold. At 9:58 p.m. a horde of younger people rushed into the brasserie. We followed in surprise. We were politely rejected again. The group was allowed in because they supposedly had reservations! We felt slightly ripped off, but came to the conclusion that we probably weren't part of the desired clientele because of our age (50+).

Ate very well several times. We were served very friendly in the cozy courtyard. Price performance appropriate.

The food was very good, there were good portions. We had cheeseburgers, bacon burgers, Wienerschnitzel and schnitzel “Viennese style” for 6 people. The service was very friendly and attentive. A quaint restaurant with a covered beer garden and restaurant in the middle of Bamberg's old town. The predominantly young staff bring a good mood and great service. The menu offers Franconian specialties and classics such as schnitzel. Vegetarians also get their money's worth. We were there at 5 p.m. without a reservation, but you should make a reservation later because the restaurant is very popular. We had the Bamberger Käseschnitzel and a salad with chicken. Was super tasty.

I can't, absolutely NOTHING, say anything about the food and drinks on offer! Because the idea of ​​even going in there was already put out of me at the door! We set out from home with our dog to the brasserie. On the recommendation of other (former) guests, I wanted to celebrate my 40th birthday here... We wanted to make a small group of 20 people stab-proof. But like I said, we couldn't even get in. As we stood in front of the entrance, a car came down the small, narrow street. We had to step on the horrible carpet in the entrance area to make room for the car. But: if the unfriendly, hysterical operating staff hadn't pointed out to us with such arrogance that the carpet was clean, we probably wouldn't have noticed the dirt on the clean carpet. OK…. Dear guest, don't step on the dirty carpet when a car comes, just jump into the car straight away... How much are you worth as a “guest”???? Well, since the lady was/is so shockingly unfriendly, I didn't arrange the after-party for the birthday there, but instead went to a well-known restaurant with a few more guests, even though it cost more than three times as much , but it was worth it. So I really have to say thank you to the unfriendly person for brushing us off on their ugly carpet and for allowing me to celebrate my birthday in a really nice way. In that sense, unfriendliness isn't always bad, it just depends on the point of view ;)

The burgers are particularly recommended on Thursday for Burger Day.

Leider hatten wir einen schlechten Tag erwischt, erst fing es gut an, bekamen Bier und auch das Essen kam zeitnah jedoch gab es eine ältere Bedienung die meinte sie seien ein speiserestaurant und keine kneipe in der man sich nicht „normal“ unterhalten darf was die komplette Stimmung in den Keller zog. Die jüngere Bedienung (Marie) hat ihren Job überragend gemeistert, wo sich manch andere eine Scheibe abschneiden sollten. Wir sind jetzt vorzeitig gegangenen und hoffen Marie findet ein besseres Lokal, welche ihre freundliche und liebenswerte Art zu schätzen weiß. Sorry aber wir werden uns nicht mehr sehen, liebe grüße mach‘s gut

Essen war sehr gut, die Bedienung (Marie) war sehr freundlich, immer da wenn man Bier gebraucht hat und sehr zuvorkommend (Gehaltserhöhung dringend notwendig!) Aber sobald man etwas zum Singen ansetzt wird es problematisch und die ältere Dame war sehr unfreundlich. Deswegen mussten wir dieses Lokal leider frühzeitig verlassen da wir (15 Fußballer, nicht so asozial) anscheinend „zu laut“ waren…

Überraschend haben wir am Samstag 18 Uhr einen Tisch in der Brasserie bekommen. Gemischtes Publikum jeden Alters. Die jungen Servicekräfte hatten den Laden im Griff. Absolut zu Empfehlen.

Super leckeres Essen zu immer noch günstigen Preisen

Mein Burger war gut und gemeinsam mit der Aktion (Burger + Bier für 12,99€) auch preislich absolut in Ordnung. Bei dem Gericht meines Bekannten sollten laut Speisekarte Bratkartoffeln dabei sein, die Kartoffeln hatten aber sicher keine Pfanne gesehen und erinnerten auch geschmacklich eher an Salzkartoffeln. Ebenso waren die Nachspeisen für mein Empfinden enttäuschend. Für mich gab es 3 Apfelküchla, die in einer kalten Fertig-Vanillesoße ertränkt wurden und das für schlappe 7,20€. Der Kaiserschmarrn für 7,50€ wurde von meinem Bekannten bestellt und war leider nur durchschnittlich - für den Preis hätte ich bei den Nachspeisen einfach mehr erwartet. Alles in allem ist das Essen gut, durch die o.g. Aktion kann man hier auch preislich nichts sagen. Ich werde nächstes Mal aber vermutlich trotzdem ein anderes Restaurant wählen.

Ich liebe die Brasserie. Das Ambiente ist einmalig, das Personal ist unbeschreiblich zuvorkommend und das Essen ist vorzüglich. Egal welcher Altersgruppe man angehört, in der Brasserie fühlt man sich immer wohl.

Der Service und das Essen waren hervorragend. Bundesliga Spiele liefen im Fernseher, dadurch war eine gute Stimmung zu spüren. Allerdings gibt es einen Stern weniger, weil das Essen trotz relativ leeren Restaurants etwas spät kam.
