Very tasty food, good service and a beautiful view of the water.

Beautiful panoramic view, delicious food, and most of the staff were friendly. We'd be happy to come back.

We stumbled upon this place quite by chance and were delighted! The fish pasta and the low-carb dish (steak strips with vegetables tossed in soy sauce) were excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was captivating. Everything was just right – a visit is definitely worth it!

Super friendly staff, and a fantastic atmosphere with a fantastic view. The food was truly delicious. I highly recommend it. Since it's not that big, you'll need to reserve a table.

We wanted to eat there last Monday; the Pegelhaus side of the restaurant was supposed to be open. "Opening hours: Daily from 12-11 pm / Mon & Tue. Oven menu!" Unfortunately, we found the door locked; there was no notice online that it wasn't open on Mondays. A quick online notice would have been helpful. We then went to the Altes Brauhaus, which had a completely different cuisine, but it was good.

Everything was perfect - super delicious food!!! ☺️👍🏻 I always enjoy coming here.

It was a very pleasant visit. The cake and coffee where great, but it would have been better had we received both at the same time. Waitresses are not very organized with kitchen staff or vise versa. By the time we got our cake the coffee was almost cold.

We sat outside, which was, of course, really nice. There were few customers in the afternoon, and the waitress was very unmotivated. When we asked if we could reserve a table for the evening, she simply said she'd have to ask. After that, she often walked past us and didn't even look at us. I always like to tip, but I refrained from doing so here. It's a shame, really; a smile could go a long way.

We made reservations at Rhein in Flammen. Admittedly, the price was a bit steep, but it was worth it. The food was very good and the service was excellent.

The Pegelhaus is quite special. We sat outside and had a table right on the banks of the Rhine. You can also sit up in the tower in the dome with a fantastic view. Both the wine and the food are affordable and we enjoyed them. The tarte flambée was delicious. The staff were young and friendly, and we never had to wait long. We went there several times during our weekend.

Great beer garden right on the Rhine. They even served non-alcoholic wine, perfect. The service was friendly, but a bit inattentive; the back tables in particular were only served sporadically, and we eventually had to go up front to pay. Otherwise, everything was great. A solid four stars.

We had to wait about 15 minutes for our drinks, which were then impossible to drink because of the many wasps. It took almost 45 minutes for the Flammkuchen to arrive. I would choose a different place.

We had a lovely evening in a pleasant and peaceful setting (at least in the evenings) with a fantastic view of the Rhine and Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Many tables were reserved, but we were still seated. The waiters were consistently very friendly. We ordered a tarte flambée and an Italian-style steak. The tarte flambée was very good. The steak loses a point because it was very bloody/raw (see picture), even though it was ordered medium. That's not really my thing, but here's the positive: I didn't send it back because the meat was tender and delicious, and tasted good even when cooked that way! A successful evening.

Unfortunately we were there outside of opening hours, which is a shame.

Disappointed! Vegetable ratatouille doused with lots of oil or fried in lots of oil, there was a piece of meat (fried together with the beef that my husband ordered), a couple of small potatoes tossed together, salmon was well done but definitely not grilled (frying pan). My husband's rump steak wasn't grilled either, seared in a frying pan... Not like it says on the memory card!!! The inside of the building isn't clean, we went to the toilets... cobwebs on the wall, the toilet smells strongly of urine, there are bits of paper everywhere... probably from visitors. But staff should check in every now and then. Terrible. Sad 😢.

A restaurant is located below the measuring station on the ground floor, as well as to the side and front of the building. From this spot, you have a good and beautiful view of the Rhine, the jetties, and Ehrenbreitstein Fortress on the other side of the Rhine.

We've been to the Pegelhaus several times; the rump steak is perfectly cooked, the vegetables are delicious, and the potato chips are special. So far, it's always been very good, and we have no complaints. We'll be back soon. Thank you very much.

The food – everyone enjoyed it. And we ordered very different dishes. The service – simply wow! Thanks to Vanessa – you provided us with perfect service! Super organized, tough, and always with a quick wit. Simply heartfelt service ♥️

A very nice place, located directly on the Rhine with a wonderful outdoor area and an unobstructed view of Ehrenbreitstein. Friendly staff. We really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos. But there are certainly plenty of them.

The food was nice, but the service was lacking! Waitress who took our order was very distracted and failed to place our order, so another member of staff had to return 15 mins later to retake our order, and he was also very distracted! They seem to be very focused on getting people seated but not so keen on quality of service once seated! Poot form!! 👎🏻

The staff's interest and the general approach of the business are truly admirable. We were greeted with a sincere welcome as soon as we entered, even this detail makes you feel good. The employees are both cheerful and very professional in their jobs. Questions are answered clearly and patiently, and even their efforts to help are valuable enough. When we look at the quality of the work, it is immediately noticeable that they are really meticulously worked on. We encountered the importance given to details and an understanding that prioritizes customer satisfaction. This also inspires confidence. The environment was also clean and tidy, and you feel comfortable in terms of hygiene. The prices are quite reasonable for the service provided. When compared to similar places in the market, I can say that both quality and convenience are offered together here. Moreover, I also liked that they did this without exaggeration and with a simple understanding. It was a generally satisfying experience. It is not always possible to encounter this kind of interest and care. I can recommend it with peace of mind. I would like to thank everyone who contributed.

My husband and I had a very nice dinner here tonight. The view is amazing, combined with the beautiful weather, you can't go wrong sitting on the patio. We had the beet tartar appetizer, I had the Parmesan steak, my husband had the Bolognese, all very good. My only complaint was the wine, no reds, just a rose... They had one other red on the menu but were out😢☹️🙄. This was our first visit, overall very good, hopefully they restock the wine soon!

Today we were up in the glass dome with 9 people plus a dog. Very attentive and friendly service, very nice atmosphere, very good food, large portions, and we didn't have to wait long. Nothing was left to be desired.

We had specially reserved a table. Unfortunately, no one told us that there was a reduced menu on Mondays and Tuesdays. When we asked, we were told that “it hasn’t been updated on the internet yet.” The waitress at the top had a very bad day, so we thought about leaving straight away. We sat right at the staircase and got the full brunt of the toilet smells because they were constantly wafting upwards. The ambience is nice, but the windows are really dirty, so it's difficult to have an uninterrupted view outside. All the points made us leave. We then had a lovely meal somewhere else…

Very friendly, young staff. Unfortunately it looks a bit dingy due to sticky, stained menus. The grilled vegetables were very tasty, the vegan burger was rather mediocre. It's always a shame when the vegan burger doesn't have an imaginative patty, but one that tastes like meat.

Unfortunately very disappointing We were really looking forward to the meal, but were bitterly disappointed. The meat in the burger was frozen, thickly portioned and tasted absolutely not fresh - an absolute no-go in this price category! A burger patty should never come out of the freezer. The service was friendly, but unfortunately hardly present. Friendliness alone is no substitute for professional care. As a small “compensation”, the waitress offered us an espresso on the house - but for us that is not adequate compensation for such a bad meal. The tip was given out of politeness, as the lady in service was really friendly - she couldn't help the poor kitchen performance. However, you can work a little on professionalism. Nevertheless: For us this was the first and last visit.

We accidentally went to this place in the morning to warm up with hot chocolate/coffee ☕ 🍰 and were amazed by the gorgeous view from the panoramic windows! The place itself is so quiet, we loved it so much! So in the evening we came back here again for dinner! 🍔 Everything here works not for quantity, but for quality! ⭐ Highly recommend 👏🏻

Disappointment across the board – definitely not a second time! We visited the restaurant with high expectations after seeing it on TV - unfortunately we were massively disappointed. A Plant Burger and a Black Angus Burger were ordered. Both were simply inedible. The Black Angus Burger was completely undercooked, way too thick and definitely tasted like a frozen patty - not at all fresh and definitely not what you would expect for a price of around €20! One of the worst burgers I've eaten in a long time. Even the Plant Burger was in no way inferior: soggy consistency, carelessly prepared and absolutely unbalanced in taste. The prices are completely exorbitant for this quality. Overall, a bitter disappointment - the ratio of price to performance is not right at all. The service also left a lot to be desired: the waitress was friendly, but only briefly upstairs twice, so she spent most of the time downstairs in the restaurant - even though there were hardly any guests there. Totally unprofessional for a restaurant. If you needed something, there was simply no one there. We gave the waitress constructive feedback about the food, but even a shot of schnapps or espresso on the house doesn't make up for the lack of quality, so we decided against it Not recommended!

If you click on “outside” when making a reservation via Open table, it is emphasized that a seat inside is guaranteed in case of bad weather. We had reserved for Easter Sunday and were contacted by the restaurant 2 days in advance that everything inside was now reserved. Then why don't you have this sentence removed from Open table?
