I've been there several times and can highly recommend it! The staff are always competent, friendly, and motivated, and they provide excellent advice. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! 🍲😋 It's also a clever idea that there are power outlets at the tables so you can charge your phone if you have a charging cable with you. 🔌

Since I had the chance to visit Hawaii last fall and try the Hawaiian national dish – a traditional Poké Bowl – I've been looking for a similar alternative back home. And I have to say: I've found it! The restaurant in Koblenz is well-maintained and clean, the staff are very friendly, and you get exactly what you pay for: a consistently positive experience where you can forget about everyday problems for a while. Whether in the middle of the Pacific Ocean or right on the Rhine – Hawaii is just around the corner here 🌸

On Saturday, I returned to Ma'loa after a long time. A visit in March had already convinced me, but this one completely delighted me! The bowl was really delicious, although on the higher end of the price range, but considering the high quality of the ingredients, the value for money is truly justified... The server (blonde) served me so nicely that I've already planned another visit with my daughter and her family 🌺

It wasn't exactly cozy; there was no one behind the counter, and it took a while for someone to arrive. It didn't seem particularly inviting. But overall, it was fine for a good snack: the bowl was good, there was a good vegetarian selection, and the decor was functional.

Too much sauce made the meal not enjoyable. Dirty tables. Will not return.

I went to Poke Bowl for the first time this afternoon, and I'm absolutely thrilled! The concept is compelling: fresh ingredients, a wide selection, and a very modern, pleasant atmosphere. I especially like the fact that you can customize the bowls—there's truly something for every taste.

A blonde employee cooked, such a chaya vallah, we all love her. She had the best vibe with everyone and managed everything very competently, even though it was very busy. She brightened up the otherwise somewhat gray restaurant with her warm aura, like a sunrise 🌄

Unfortunately, the bowl wasn't good at all. The rice wasn't cooked properly, the sauce had no flavor at all, and it was kind of sour. Everything had a somewhat rubbery texture. I couldn't even finish it because of the taste. Even the Rewe poke tastes better.

The atmosphere is pleasant – with several tables inside and outside, right in the pedestrian zone, you can sit and relax. You can choose from a set of bowls or create your own – with plenty of fresh, healthy ingredients, delicious toppings, and a variety of dressings. There's truly something for every taste. The bowls are on the higher end, but the quality is excellent – and you can taste it. We'd definitely be back!

Bowls are of good size, especially for what you pay for it! This chain is a go-to for us in Germany, since it is a safe and nutritious option for people with dietary restrictions. However, this location’s toilet did not have a lock on it…

1. Super friendly staff!! The girl was really nice and had always a smile on her face (They speak english so that is not a problem) 2. The food was really good, we ordered two bowls but our fav was Maui Tuna Bowl (a bit spicy but it is part of the experience). 3. The atmosphere is cool, very calm, you order when you feel ready and the food is ready in no minutes! I personally feel pressured in restaurants to order fast but here was a really nice experience :)

I happened to be walking by and was immediately impressed by the beautiful decor! Great atmosphere with great music, not too loud to interrupt conversations, but still present! 🥰 After being initially overwhelmed by the large selection, I received very friendly advice from a blonde waitress and ultimately decided to put together a bowl for myself. ☺️ I was skeptical at first that not all proteins were heated, but the cold chicken tasted delicious with the warm rice! The vegetables were very fresh, and the Vulcano sauce mixed with the sesame was a dream. To my surprise, they even had pomegranate seeds as a topping, which went very well with the guacamole, which I had as my first topping. 😍 I'm thrilled and will definitely come back when I'm in the area. It's definitely better than going to a well-known fast-food chain, as you get all the nutrients you need for the price and feel full enough to get through the rest of the day. I'm already looking forward to choosing a new combination of ingredients on my next visit!

I've now visited five different MA'LOA Poké Bowls in the area: Siegen, Bonn, Cologne, Mainz, and Wiesbaden, and this one is, in my opinion, by far the best. I asked the staff about their offerings, and they were very helpful and patient with me as I couldn't decide. I then opted for a Vulkano Chicken Bowl and a peach iced tea. Despite the store being very busy, they finished my bowl very quickly and kept asking if I wanted anything else. I didn't feel like I was unwelcome, and the staff was very friendly. Later, when I hadn't quite finished my bowl and was about to leave, the staff was kind enough to put the bowl in a to-go container for me and even added some sesame seeds, which I really liked. The atmosphere in the store was also nice; it's beautifully decorated and you feel like you're in a local restaurant in Hawaii. There was also music that wasn't too loud, but loud enough to be able to have a conversation with other people, as many others did in the store. I highly recommend the store to anyone who wants to eat healthy food at a good price in a good store in Koblenz city center.

We ate at the Bowl restaurant and it was absolutely delicious! The food was fresh and very well prepared. The bowls look beautiful and taste great. The staff was nice and friendly. We'd love to come back!

Really tasty and great service. We were served by a really nice guy who speaks english and helps with the menu choices. My daughter lived the little swing there.

The bowls are incredibly delicious and nice and light, especially on hot summer days. I would have liked a bit more expert advice (changing the sauce).

Delicious. In this heat, luckily, it's not served hot. They had overpriced iced tea. And a wobbly table. Price for two people with an iced tea each was €35… and it's more like fast food.

I'd like to comment on two things: 1. The food was delicious. 2. The service was abysmal. As for the food, it was very tasty with good ingredients. Service: After entering the not-so-crowded restaurant, we waited five minutes until a visibly unmotivated employee returned. Her reluctance to work was evident, as was the way the order was taken and the careless preparation of the ordered bowl. My request for a table we had chosen to be cleaned was met with a surly response. That's completely unacceptable, even if the concept is more geared towards fast food. As I said, the food was delicious, but we won't go there again. It's a shame that unmotivated employees make the image so negative.

What can I say: Very tasty, very healthy, and filling! I'd go back anytime!

There's not much to say here: The concept is simply amazing, and everything tastes amazing. Everyone can customize their bowl to their liking, so there's always something to find. The ingredients are all delicious and fresh. A definite recommendation for those in a hurry but want something healthy.

The restaurant is really nicely decorated, even if the chairs don't add to the coziness. The bowl was prepared quickly and the toppings were great. In my bowl, 1/2 to 3/4 of the portion was the base - rice. I would imagine a sauce or cream based on quark, for example, because the rice with salad, avocado and chicken skewers was really dry. Therefore 1* deduction - because it was too dry

We ate here for the first time around lunchtime today and were very satisfied😋 At first glance, my husband and I were very overwhelmed, but the two nice service employees gave us friendly advice so that we quickly got a good overview. I was at Maloha for the first time yesterday afternoon! The food was delicious, the price was okay, great service! I will come back :)

Were here today and have never had a bowl or anything else to eat. That's why we asked how it works. When we had ordered and sat down at the table, we heard both employees (a dark blonde and a brown-haired young woman) whispering next to the door and saying: “How can you be so stupid, it's all on the board .” So talking about paying customers like that in their presence and then in such a conspicuous way is really the last thing. With 2 bowls that cost over €26.00, which didn't taste good at all, the meat inside was half raw and we returned it half full and then the blasphemy from the employees was absolutely impossible. I work in the catering industry myself and this is absolutely incomprehensible to me. Afterwards we also have implementation... Receive. Don't come here anymore!

For me personally, it is only recommended if you are there, i.e. eat on site or pick up. We have ordered delivery there several times now, and each time I was dissatisfied. The amount of rice is simply not enough. Which is why I always ask for a little more rice, which is then happily granted. Now we tried to order again and specifically asked for one more ladle of rice. Unfortunately that didn't work, which is why I'm now cooking extra rice at home. Therefore, unfortunately not recommended if you are not there in person.

I really enjoy eating here and the staff are all very nice, but the quantity and contents of the plates vary enormously. My plate always costs around 18 euros but the amount is always variable. Onions and lettuce are lightly tossed in. These products in particular cost almost nothing. Whatever changes that, for 18 euros you can expect a full plate

One can argue about the limited opening hours (even on weekends only until 2000). But not about the delicious and perceived high quality food. The ingredients are fresh, feel healthy and the portions are filling. In terms of price, a bowl with fresh salmon and other delicacies costs around €14, I think. If you're looking for a quick, healthy meal you'll find it here. My wife and I would love to come back.

The place is spacious and cool, and the food is great. Unfortunately the day that I was there the lady behind the counter just wasn’t nice at all, she was also busy doing other things in the back of the shop and a lot of people came in and just saw the counter empty. The establishment needs to make sure another member of the staff is there at all times.

Ordered food to be picked up and unfortunately was quite disappointed. It wasn't nicely prepared as a bowl, it was just all mixed together. The avocado was simply an uncut, quarter avocado, paying two euros extra for that is audacious. There was far too little sauce and it was distributed unevenly throughout the bowl. Sure it CAN taste good here, but it's absolutely not worth the price and really unsatisfactory.

Great concept, delicious bowls.

The bowls are very tasty and really fill you up. Ingredients were all fresh and crunchy and put together as desired. Unfortunately, service deducted one star because there was no one behind the counter when we came into the store, and someone only came after a few minutes, but then everything was great. Ambiance is of course difficult in the location and the given rooms, a bit small and the view outside is a matter of taste (full shopping street).

Chicken bowl was very tasty. Everything fit perfectly. Nothing more, nothing less. The two ladies from the service were very nice and friendly. When we left we bought two mochis, which I regretted afterwards. We should have bought at least ten pieces because they were so delicious. It's a shame we don't live in Koblenz.

Zuerst einmal muss ich sagen, dass das Essen immer spitze ist. Die Bowls sind super lecker und frisch. Allerdings weiss ich nicht was sich der Betreiber denkt, wenn er zur besten Geschäftszeit nur eine Person im Laden arbeiten lässt. Diese muss dann sowohl die telefonischen Bestellungen als auch die Bestellungen im Laden abarbeiten. Es war eine Riesenschlange dort, wir haben bestimmt eine halbe Stunde gewartet, bis wir überhaupt mal das Essen hatten und das Mädel hinter der Theke hat mir echt leid getan. Sie war superfreundlich und hat einen echt guten Job gemacht, aber es war einfach viel zu viel für eine Person. Das geht überhaupt nicht. Im Geschäft ist es auch relativ kalt gewesen, die Tische waren nicht abgewischt, weil das natürlich auch eine Person nicht leisten kann sie konnte sich ja nicht fünf Teilen, aber das ist einfach nicht gut. Kein guter Service deshalb. Das liegt aber nicht daran, dass jemand unfreundlich gewesen wäre, sondern dass ich dem Chef dieses Ladens einfach vorwerfe, dass er zu wenig Personal arbeiten lässt und das letztendlich dann einen schlechten Service ergibt. Sau blöd finde ich auch, wenn man dann schon so lange warten muss, dass man dumm in der Schlange rumsteht. Wenn man sich wenigstens hinsetzen könnte und dann irgendwann eine Bestellung aufgeben könnte, während man vielleicht schon was trinkt, wäre das auch in Ordnung, aber eine halbe Stunde dumm im Laden rumstehen und sich die Beine in den Bauch stehen das ist echt total daneben. Wie gesagt die Mitarbeiterin war super freundlich, aber ein "Buh" an den Chef, seinen Personal sowas zuzumuten. Und auch den Kunden natürlich. Deshalb weiß ich nicht ob ich noch mal wiederkommen werde so lecker wie es auch ist, das gehört anders organisiert.

Ein Restaurant im Viertel zwischen Einkaufszentrum und Tk Maxx. Sehr schöne Einrichtung und Musik. Wir stellen das Essen selbst zusammen und es sind nur wenige Schritte erforderlich – sie werden aufgeschrieben oder wir nutzen vorgefertigte Vorschläge. Ich empfehle es aus Kuriosität (in Deutschland gibt es nur wenige Restaurants).

Hatten heute eine Salmon Bowl. Hat uns leider nicht so gut geschmeckt:/ die ganzen Zutaten haben überhaupt nicht zusammengepasst oder harmoniert. Der rohe Lachs mit Gurke und gezuckerte Ananas aus der Dose zusammengeworfen hat einfach nicht so gut geschmeckt, da fehlte einfach Soße oder Würze. Der Sushi Reis war sehr körnig und an Masse auch etwas zu viel. Trockener Salat oben drauf mit Rauke...war auch nicht so passend in unseren Augen... Die ganze Bowl sah somit zunächst fantastisch aus, hat aber leider irgendwie lasch geschmeckt und uns leider nicht überzeugt. Service war super höflich und zuvorkommend.

Wir waren zwischen den Jahren dort und haben uns drei Bowls zusammen gestellt. Alle unterschiedlich und wir waren alle sehr zufrieden mit dem Geschmack und auch der Dauer der Zubereitung. Die Soßenauswahl ist zwar nicht übertrieben riesig, aber passend und lecker. Die Empfehlung mit Begründung des Servicemitarbeiters war auch top. Einige beschweren sich darüber, dass es preislich verhältnismäßig hoch angesetzt ist für einen Salat - ihr vergesst hierbei aber die ganzen Kosten die hinter so einer Schüssel stecken damit ihr sie gespült und sauber mit Besteck vor der Nase stehen habt und genießen könnt. Einziges Manko - die verwendete Mango war sehr sauer. Vielleicht war das aber auch nur an dem einen Tag so. Und für meinen Geschmack könnten Fisch und Hühnchen eine eigene Würze vertragen. Aber da das nicht nur mir schmecken soll und manche Gewürze untereinander nachher sicherlich mit den Soßen nicht zusammen passen, ist es wohl sinnvoller so. Ich werde Jedenfalls gerne nochmal dort hin gehen. Vielleicht ändert sich dann meine Rezension auch auf 5 Sterne. :-)

37€ für zwei Bowls und zwei Limonaden finde ich absolut überzogen. Geschmacklich waren die Bowls leider nicht so herausragend wie man es bei dem hohen Preis erwarten dürfte. Das Team ist sehr freundlich, das Ambiente ist schön.

Frische Zutaten und eine Menge um gut satt zu werden. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, die alles geduldig erklärt. Hatte eine Bowl selbst zusammen gestellt. 2 Hähnchenspieße, warm und zart im Fleisch. Sushi Reis wie er sein soll, Gemüse und Toppings nach Wahl und 2 Soßen.(15€ incl. Getränk) Einfach köstlich und ich bin super satt geworden. Ja, die Soßen sind würzig bis leicht scharf, aber sie haben einen guten Geschmack. Man geht ja auch hin um was anderes zu essen als deutsch gewürzte Küche! Der Laden ist nett zurecht gemacht, hat aber trotzdem Imbiss Charakter. Das nächste Mal sitze ich auf der Schaukelbank!

Ich habe hier zweimal die Lieferung bestellt. Ich finde es toll, dass du deine Bowl selbst gestalten kannst. Eine große Portion und die Füllung der Bowl ist immer reich an verschiedenen Produkten. Außerdem umfasst die Auswahl nicht nur vegetarische Produkte, sondern auch Fleisch und Fisch. Das einzig Negative für mich ist, dass bisher alle Soßen, die ich ausgewählt habe, scharf waren. Im Durchschnitt liegt der Preis pro Bowl bei 13-16€.

Das Essen ist super lecker und wird frisch zubereitet. Das Personal ist freundlich und der Laden ist toll gestaltet, sodass man sich sofort wohlfühlt.

Hier nur kurz was getrunken ( Fritz Apfelsaft)

Ich kenne das Konzept aus Antwerpen und habe es mir so sehr auch in Koblenz gewünscht! Und als ich das Maloa hier gesehen habe, musste ich es direkt austesten. Mittlerweile war ich schon 3 Mal dort und es konnte mich jedes Mal begeistern, egal ob mit Fisch oder mit Tofu. Die Portionen sind ausreichend um satt zu werden und nichts übrig zu lassen. Die Soßen sind sehr lecker und auch die Smoothies sind super lecker. Ja, wenn mehr Betrieb gerade da ist, dauert es bis man drankommt. Aber das liegt daran, dass das Person auf bitte berät und auch jeden Schritt mit einem durchgeht. Dabei sind sie stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dafür warte ich dann lieber länger. Außerdem gibt es eine Stempelkarte, was mich umso mehr begeistert, noch öfters vorbeizukommen.

Zutaten zum Teil schlaff und angegammelt ( Rucola ) , geschmacklich lediglich ok, Portion überschaubar groß, dafür Preise ambitioniert. Unübersichtliche Auswahl- und Preisdarstellung. Bedienung mega unfreundlich und lustlos.

Tolles Konzept, sehr leckere Bowls und sehr freundliches Personal. Man kann die Bowls genau nach seinem eigenen Geschmack zusammenstellen, es gibt aber auch fertige Zusammenstellungen, die man bestellen kann.
