Long wait for food order, but delicious

The train wasn't running... it had to be repaired. So we sat on the terrace with a piece of apple strudel with ice cream... a special and a soda. Service was friendly. But the highlight was that the alpine choughs came and took a piece from their hands.

Staff at the self-service counter were overworked. Compare the prices of the small and large drinks carefully. The relationship is not right at all. Of course the terrace makes up for a lot. So it's more of a good address

I actually wanted to eat something, but at 17 euros for a portion of cheese spaetzle I can't handle it. Apparently many others did too, and I didn't see anyone eating anything. Rightly so. Cheesecake is Tk goods, you can see it straight away. A soup just under 10 euros. There is no service. When I ordered an iced tea, the checkout tried to sell me a Kaiserschmarrn, no thanks, definitely not for the price. But as long as there are people who pay, the prices will continue to rise.

Very nicely located. But the food (potato soup) only tastes like salt. The constant beeping of the bussers when food can be picked up creates a hectic atmosphere.

Actually nicely located with a great view. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not recommended at all. First there is a long queue at the counter and then they charge EUR 1.50 for an additional fork. Reason: You would fill an entire table with just one meal.

I ate delicious roast pork with red cabbage and dumplings. Good home cooking. But for this tourist hotspot, 3 slices of roast pork at an acceptable price was the highlight of the day. Not even self-service could change that.

We were totally thrilled. Food was great and good portions. The service was also great and the people were really nice. Despite many guests, we didn't have to wait long for food and even got an "extra sausage" for our littlest one. Highly recommended. And the view first.

We only had something to drink because the food was very, very expensive. 17€ for a currywurst e.g. is quite an exaggeration. Drinks could be cooler. Service a bit lackluster. The best thing is the view from up there.

Price-performance doesn't fit at all. Goulash soup didn't taste like anything and was lukewarm to cold. We have never eaten such bad Kaiserschmarrn and for 16 euros. Unfortunately I dropped the cutlery. You have to pay for new cutlery. Long waiting times. Absolute disappointment and not recommended. Staff seemed overwhelmed despite self-service. The only nice thing was the view and the expensive beer.

Food expensive and not good for the prices. Two 'potato soups' (over-seasoned) for 8-9€ each, standard (bag) Kaiserschmarrn for 16€ (!) and drinks (OK). Unfortunately it's not worth it at all.

Been there dozens of times. And always happy. The food is delicious, the service is great and the view is magnificent.

Cheese spaetzle doesn't keep well at all. Way too much spice and no cheese. I choked it up. Staff and atmosphere great. Unfortunately, you have to queue for quite a long time and then wait again at your seat for your food.

08/06/24 Food: Kaiserschmarrn, large salad with chicken, apple strudel, cheese spaetzle. Everything is so incredibly good! The chef is great! Even a boring salad tastes great there and the chicken was perfect. We tried everything and were so happy with all the dishes! Stately prices, but absolutely worth it given the location and the quality!

I loved it. We took the first carriage up to the panorama restaurant, so we were the first visitors. How amazing to see all those stunning views without all the tourists. The staff were very friendly and enjoyed our enthusiasm. You can book a tandem paragliding session from the top down to the bottom. It looked amazing.

Reached the top... a good beer... went down great.

Self service area. 5 non-alcoholic drinks (Cola and Fanta) for just under €25. All drinks are cold, but non-carbonated. We didn't want to complain because a single service person was responsible for all food and drink orders including cashiers and there was a queue of at least 20 people and it didn't get any smaller during our stay. Overall, unfortunately, not such a good experience for a heavily frequented destination. However, the view is great, provided the weather cooperates.

Frozen fries with a Krakauer sausage disguised as a currywurst, swimming in a tomato sauce for €17. Tourism or not. I don't eat here anymore. Staff too unfriendly if you have general questions... View is nice.

I was there today on August 3rd, 24 with my son. The location is of course breathtaking. It is a self-service restaurant with standard dishes. I had potato soup with wiener (a bit too sour) my son nuggets and fries. (Standard frozen nuggets, fries a bit too salty). That's just our feeling. Normal, good self-service restaurant with a great view. Food was brought to the table despite the pickup beeper.

At almost 2000m altitude, you can hike and eat.

Really nice there, of course the price is up, but in my opinion still within the normal range for a tourist region.

Unfortunately, the self-service restaurant is severely understaffed; one force must do everything. Preparing food, serving it and collecting cash at the cash register and in between picking up and emptying the trolleys with dirty dishes from the terrace. No wonder there is nothing warm to eat in the afternoon (except cake, apple strudel warmed up here)! The service person personally gives 5 stars for doing everything so well! Finally, the prices are pretty steep! Well, you're on the mountain after all. Unfortunately, the hut right next door was obviously on a “closed day” (during the holiday season!) But they had set up a beer vending machine 🤣🤣!

Food and location was amazing 👏 great views It was very pricy though, 22.80€ for a snitzel with fries is ludicrous, no matter how delicious it tasted. Considering how busy the place is, and that people either have to complete a 3hours hike up a mountain or pay 30€ to get their by the caple car, I unfortunately can't recommend going here to eat. Maybe get a beer and enjoy the view 🍺

You go up (and down) the mountain with a cable car, but once you reach the top you have four options for walking down. Quite worth it

A brilliant restaurant with a large outdoor terrace with a breathtaking view of the Allgäu Alps and the Branderschrofen summit. Drinks are available to take away at the counter, but you usually have to get food when the beeper goes off at the table. Walking from there to the Branderschrofen summit is a 25-minute climbing tour with the possibility of taking a break in between. Already at the first break point you have a great view of the Zugspitze, for example.

I have never seen such ignorant waitress as today. We have been told that kitchen is open for 20 minutes, i called my daughter from outside a the lady refused to serve us with warm food after 10minutes. food was average. View is amazing.

If you want the perfect way to finish your hike, Panorama Restaurant Tegelberg - Schwangau is the place to be! It’s a fantastic spot to grab a bite and enjoy a cold beer. The view is absolutely stunning—you won't be able to take your eyes off it! Plus, there are cozy loungers where you can relax and unwind. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. The portions are generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. There are plenty of great spots for photos—your Instagram will love it! I'll definitely be back to enjoy the beauty and delicious food again.

You should treat yourself to a snack on the Tegelberg.

Definitely worth going up on the Cable car to enjoy a meal up here and after a short or long hike. Decent selection of drinks But GREAT food! Service was a bit slow but if you have time that won't matter because they are very kind, attentive and the view is amazing!

Great view, of course you have to pay. Apple strudel €9.90. Radler €4.30. Self-service takes a very, very long time. Don't want to go there on weekends/holidays. Great prices. It's just a destination. But a nice one.

The prices are quite high. Frozen cake, small piece: 4.90 euros Coffee and milk coffee together 9.20 euros. However, there is friendly self-service. Sorry, but next time I'll take my coffee with me in a thermos :-) Pork schnitzel with fries for 22.80 euros. Currywurst with fries 16.90 euros. Actually just outrageous. With every understanding that the staff must also be paid reasonably, but that is clearly too much.

Very good food with a good ambiance, but a bit pricy

It's very touristy, but of course. Right on the train and therefore well frequented. This is reflected in the prices. Coffee for 4.80 is already hard. Unfortunately the machine was also broken, so no cappuccino, chocolate or anything like that. The restaurant is large and doesn't really feel like a mountain hut, but the view (if you have one) is great and the ambience itself is nice. Unfortunately it was extremely cold in the restaurant, even though it was June 1st, it was raining heavily and it was really cold and uncomfortable outside, so you wished for a bit of warmth and comfort. That's why I saved myself the expensive meal, because sitting wet and freezing isn't so nice... You can't say much about the service, it's self service.

We didn’t eat in the restaurant itself, we just stopped by. The most important thing about it is the views that open from the terraces - they are magnificent! The terraces have comfortable lounge chairs where you can enjoy the views and drinks...

Fascinating Breathtaking view. Great atmosphere. Skydiving with an instructor. Cable car for a few euros. Food in a price range Far below the price level in the České kopecki or Krkonoše mountains. Accommodation with half board at Haus Moni for 3 days 360 Euro is a great price. Peace and quiet. I know where we're going.

Sturdy shoes and a little alpine experience are important. Here you can experience ibexes up close.

The prices have now reached the ceiling... sorry, but a portion of fries €8.20 is excessive, even if it is a large portion. But you can do that with hungry customers. And less and less food is offered every year. No more salad, no more sausages No card payment possible, you only get told that after you have ordered everything and have already received the drink. Unfortunately we didn't have enough cash with us, but what we found positive was that the cashier trusted us to get money from friends and we only paid after we had eaten.

We went in around 11 am to take-away hot chocolate drink. Got the tiniest cup of drink ever (for the price) in Europe 😀 But the taste was great 👍

Revisiting this place after 50 years, very nostalgia

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here. A lot is explained here about the location and monopoly position on the Tegelberg. It is also a self-service restaurant. However, the view and the ambience are positive.

Food was okay, it was to be expected that the prices weren't exactly cheap... we would have liked a few more umbrellas... local non-alcoholic beers would be much better for a non-alcoholic cyclist...

Wienerle is totally overpriced and then you should pay extra for ketchup or mustard. Paying extra for an extra portion is okay, but for me that's a one-off thing. You don't pay extra for the sauce for the pork fillet in a restaurant either.

Kaiserschmarrn was okay, but I've eaten much better in the mountains. Self-service, but the ladies at the counter were super nice. Beautiful view over Füssen and the surrounding area.

View wonderful. Great panorama. Unfortunately the prices are very expensive and the taste is not convincing.

downright terrible service. with 2 children (3 and 5) we waited more than an hour for our food. and when you ask when the food is ready they walk towards you with the plates. As a result, it is no longer or hardly possible to toboggan at the bottom of the mountain.

As expected, there is a beautiful view at Klara's sight. The self-service restaurant offers a wide range of food at its notoriously higher prices.

As for the food, the fries are terribly salty, the cutlets are not that bad, it's a pity they don't have any salads. The views from the window are beautiful, the restaurant in general is ok, but not great.

Good restaurant but everything quite expensive.

Card reader was defective, small soft drink 0.2 - 4.30€, for 0.4 then 4.90€. Food not particularly tasteful. Red cabbage tasted floury and roast pork tasted very fatty. Overall not recommended.

When we arrived to the location the restaurant was nowhere to be found and were told the closest restaurants were at nearby villages.

We warmed up here and had a drink. Self service and a great view. Drinks okay.

Naja, was soll ich schreiben...... waren oben zum Wandern und hatten echt Hunger. Einmal Schnitzel mit Pommes und einmal Käsespätzle und danach ein Germknödel das ganze + 3 Große Wasser = 70 €. Käsespätzle waren versalzen. Germknödel hätte ohne Vanillesauce nach nix geschmeckt. SchniPo ging so. Für das Preis Leistung gibt es nut eine Punkt.

Incredibly expensive..... Kässpätzle for almost 18 euros, without salad (!) is outrageous! Plus you don't even get served. The only sensational thing is the view, for which you now pay 30 euros.

A must visit place if you're close to Füssen . Great views over the valley, you can see tons of paragliding taking off and the food is great.

Toller Ausblick währenddessen man Essen und Trinken kann

lange Wartezeit weil nur ein Mitarbeiter am Tresen, kam uns wie eine Touristenfütterung vor. Meiner Meinung nach nicht so toll. Auf halber Strecke gibt's die Rohrkopfhütte, da müsst ihr hin.

5 Euro fürs Bier durchbricht für mich ne Schallmauer.

Essen und Getränke viel zu teuer. Nachdem wir für 3 Personen schon 63€ für die Fahrten gezahlt haben, fand ich persönlich 7€ für pommes ohne alles echt viel. 5€ für nen kaffe bei der Aussicht war gerade so zu verkraften.

Een prachtige plek, het uitzicht is een top locatie. Een echte aanrader. We hebben hier koffie, thee en warme chocomelk op. Dit kan je bestellen bij de bar. Na de opname van de bestelling word het bedrag genoemd en draait de barman je direct de rug toe en riep af en toe wat naar je, of je slagroom wil bijvoorbeeld. Zodra drankjes klaar waren kon je betalen en werd er gevraagd of je debit of credit wil betalen. Na de betaling kan je een plek opzoeken binnen en buiten. Buiten heb je een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen en lijk je te zweven door de ligging van het platform waar je opzit. Binnen heb je een panorama view over de hele vallei tot in de verste verte.

Top Location, leider taugt das Essen nicht viel . Einfach Überteuert, und zu sehr Imbiss . Wir fanden es nicht gut . 3 Sterne gibt es für die Aussicht und das Restaurant an sich .

Wirklich eine schöne Aussicht und das sollte man genießen. Service bedeutet oben langes Anstehen für Getränke und vermeidet es erst ab 16 Uhr runterkommen. Wartezeit kann lang sein.

Sehr schöne Location am Tegelberg.

Die Aussicht war seht gut, ebenso schmeckte die Gulaschsuppe auch gut. Es gibt hier ein Bestell und Abhol System also muss man hier zur Kasse gehen und dort bestellen, dort kriegt man dann einen Chip welcher piept wenn das essen fertig ist. Daraufhin kann man es abholen, es wird einem aber auch dabei schon gebracht.

Klasse Aussicht , tolle Terrasse , Aber eines muss man sagen Preislich etwas extrem überzogen . Personal hat vermutlich die Freundlichkeit hinter dem Tresen abgelegt , Sie wirken ganz einfach nur genervt . Hier sollte das Management mal etwas nachhelfen . Essen war Ok .

Not very cozy, but there is a place for many different tourists. The food, the apple strudel was awesome, and goulash soup too. The view is great, and you can sit and warm up indoor.

Mooi uitzicht. Binnen bestellen en zelf ophalen. Op de dag ik het restaurant was er een klant met een klacht. Het personeel vond ik hier slecht en onrespectvol mee omgaan , zeker als er andere klanten bij zijn. Dit is wel een verbeterpunt. Eten was goed.
