Pizza war lecker. Spaghetti ebenfalls. Haben bestellt und abgeholt 15 Minuten alles fertig

Das Essen war wirklich lecker! Die Gnocchi selbstgemacht und die Pizza Margherita ein Traum. Leider stimmte halt alles andere nicht und wir haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt. Der Service ist halt immer die Achillessehne eins jeden Restaurant. Zwar nett aber nicht aufmerksam. Bestellen zur Abholung gerne nochmals versuchen aber am Tisch erstmal nicht. Beste Grüße

Sehr leckere Pizza! Wir waren im Urlaub dort und waren sehr begeistert. Hochwertige Zutaten. Es gibt auch eine vegane Pizza, also für jeden was dabei :) Der Service war sehr freundlich.

Waren heute da, Pizza war gut, aber nichts besonderes. Service total überlastet. Wir mussten ewig warten, und mein Tomatensalat wurde erst vergessen. wir hatten das Gefühl, die Plätze im freien wurden bevorzugt. Selbst zum bezahlen mussten wir nochmsl 20 Minuten warten. Wir kommen sicher nicht wieder.

Dieser Laden hat uns gerettet, als wir um 21:20 Uhr hungrig waren und alles andere in der Umgebung schon geschlossen hatte! Sehr freundliches Personal und die Pizza war super. Grazie!

Gegenteilig zu den meisten anderen Rezessionen sind wir leider sehr enttäuscht worden. Der Service war sehr unfreundlich und hektisch. Erstmal mussten wir ca. 15 min warten bis unsere Getränke überhaupt aufgenommen wurden. Als das Essen nach ca 30-40 min endlich kam wurden uns die Teller einfach so auf den Tisch geknallt. Das Essen, wir hatten Nudeln, war auch nicht der Hit. Die Soßen waren sehr wässrig und uns gehts seit dem Essen ein bisschen schlecht. Als wir fertig waren wurden uns die Teller einfach so genommen. Es wurde nicht einmal gefragt wie wir das Essen fanden. Die Portionen waren auch nicht gerade üppig. Das einzig positive war vielleicht das Tiramisu. Dieses war geschmacklich einigermaßen ok, aber auch sehr wässrig. Als wir zahlen wollten wurden wir 3 mal ignoriert. Gesamt leider ein sehr schlechter Eindruck, leider keine Weiterempfehlung!

Nicht an einem Feiertag oder besonders touristenreichen tag hingehen. Das perwonal war mehr als überfordert und gestresst, die pizza war nicht fertig, der käse nicht geschmolzen und eigentlich ungeniessbar. An ruhigen tagen sieht das hier ganz anders aus.

Beide Meeresfrüchte Pizzen waren nicht gut - ohne Geschmack uns sehr wässrig. Service bediente nur Stammgäste aktiv - der Wirt war offensichtlich angetrunken und reagierte genauso wie der Kellner nur auf Zuruf.

Bin schon zum 3. Mal in Schwangau. Dann ist San Marco immer gerne gesetzt. Diesmal hatte ich unglaublich gute Garnelen in den Bandnudeln. Bei meiner Frau suchten wir in der Soße der Lasagne al Forno allerdings vergeblich Teigplatten. Die waren kaum spürbar. Leider

Der Besitzer ist ein Original, mit dieser typischen Mischung aus Ironie und Herzlichkeit, die nur ein Italiener so draufhat. So nach dem Motto: „Ist mir doch egal, haha!“ Wir wurden schnell platziert und gefragt, woher wir kommen. Mein Italienisch ist eher rudimentär (eher so ein „Itañol“), aber er ist nicht gleich wieder ins Englische oder Deutsche umgestiegen, was ich sehr geschätzt habe! Wir bekamen sofort zwei kalte Biere und zwei Pizzen, die beide super waren. Dünner Teig, knuspriger Rand, hochwertige Zutaten. Meine war meiner Meinung nach perfekt: Der rauchige Geschmack der Salami, dazu Peperoni und Champignons – einfach unschlagbar. Dann bestellte ich einen Kaffee bei einem jüngeren Kellner, der unglaublich schnell (und dazu noch freundlich und lächelnd) war. Der Espresso war hervorragend! Genau die richtige Menge, konstant, nicht zu bitter, nicht zu sauer. Ich bin zwar kein Genießer, aber guten Kaffee findet man nicht so leicht! Wir hatten jedenfalls einen tollen Abend, vielen Dank! PS: Unsere Hunde waren willkommen, alles bestens!

Wir haben unsere Pizza mitgenommen. Es ging super einfach und schnell und war trotzdem unglaublich lecker. Wir haben Pizza und Salat zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Bei der Abholung herrschte im Restaurant eine tolle Atmosphäre und es gibt auch ein paar Tische draußen, wo man bei schönem Wetter sitzen kann. Der Service war überaus freundlich. Ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Wenn Sie die Burgen besichtigen möchten, lassen Sie die lokalen Restaurants aus und besuchen Sie stattdessen dieses Restaurant. Sie werden es nicht bereuen. Die Pizzen waren hervorragend – Basilikum, Rucola und Käse waren unglaublich frisch. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit gegenüber unserer Gruppe (darunter drei Teenager), und Englisch war kein Problem. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jeder Gruppe, die durch diese kleine Stadt reist, wärmstens empfehlen!

Also dieser Laden ist nur zu empfehlen wir haben uns gestern Pizza to Go geholt und sie hat nur 10 Minuten gebraucht.alles war absolut lecker und die Preise top.wir werden die Tage gerne im Restaurant nochmal essen gehen.

Der beste Italiener dort. Sehr geil, sehr heimelig. Wie haben uns sehr wohl Gefühl. War fast familiär. Lädt ein zu bleiben. Essen war spitze.

Es hat mir überhaupt nicht gefallen. Wir gingen hinein, und der Besitzer meinte, es sei kein Platz mehr frei, wir könnten aber an der Theke essen. Obwohl zwei Damen an einem Tisch bereits angekündigt hatten, gehen zu wollen, ließ er sie nicht gehen und warf uns praktisch hinaus. Das ist absolut untypisch italienisch, sehr unhöflich. Wir haben nichts gegessen und haben auch nicht die geringste Lust, wiederzukommen. Ich rate dringend davon ab.

Ihr müsst hier unbedingt essen! Ich liebe dieses Restaurant. Ich bin nun schon zum zweiten Mal in den Weihnachtsferien in der Gegend und esse auch zum zweiten Mal hier. Im ersten Jahr kannten wir uns in der Gegend noch nicht so gut aus und haben dieses kleine, versteckte Lokal abseits der Straße entdeckt. Der Herr, der dort bediente, war unglaublich nett und das Essen fantastisch. Also kamen wir natürlich mehrmals in der Woche wieder. Dieses Jahr waren wir mit unserer Schwiegertochter und unserem Sohn da. Wir wollten das Essen genießen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Unsere Schwiegertochter hat allerdings Allergien und verträgt bestimmte Lebensmittel nicht. Der Herr, der dieses Mal dort war, ist übrigens der Sohn des netten Herrn vom Vorjahr. Dieser freundliche Mann hat sich wirklich Mühe gegeben, mit ihr die Speisekarte abzustimmen, damit sie ihr Essen unbesorgt genießen konnte. Das Essen war wieder fantastisch. Wir sehen uns Weihnachten 2026!

If this were a Bavarian restaurant, the atmosphere would be perfect! You could feel it. Loud laughter, a lively bar scene, and excellent beer. It had a slightly less Italian pizzeria feel. But that's not a problem; we're in Bavaria, after all :) Unfortunately, the food fell short of the quality of Italian pizza we're used to. There was a lot of undercooked flour underneath. We felt it was simply a vegetable pie. The prosciutto was thickly sliced ​​and somehow strange; my partner couldn't even eat it. Hugo – weak. But the beer was excellent; I think the right amount of it would compensate for the taste shortcomings we experienced.

Really, we should be able to give zero stars. A total disaster from start to finish! We called and reserved a table by phone. When we got there, they left us standing and told us there were no tables available and we should sit outside (note: the weather wasn't great). The waiters' "friendliness" left a lot to be desired!! The pizza wasn't cooked through and didn't taste good. Of five people, one was forgotten, while the other four had already received their food. The food was lukewarm to cold!!! Absolutely unacceptable! Card payments were temporarily unavailable, but we weren't informed of this before ordering... Plates sat empty on the table for ages and weren't cleared away. We weren't even asked once if we wanted anything else, etc. So, all in all: definitely not recommended!!!

Unfriendly service, unassuming waiters, it was a big disappointment!

Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy our visit at all. To be honest, we only went there because there were no tables available anywhere else. The ambiance had put us off beforehand, as it had a bit of a backyard feel with simple plastic seating. The service seemed somewhat indifferent, and the food arrived very late; the salad was carelessly "tossed" in passing. The food itself was mediocre and rather tasteless.

My wife had a soggy pizza, and my pasta was lukewarm. Absolutely below average in taste. A complete disappointment.

Beer is served in a bottle. When asked what kind of beer they have, he replied: "I'm Italian, I don't know." Then he threw the menu at me. After a brief hesitation when asked about the order, he became snippy and left. Edit: The owner has all negative reviews deleted. So this is what honesty and insight look like.

ONCE IN A LIFETIME! and that‘s Even too much… We had a Take-Away order placed directly after opening. Three of five pizzas were really disgusting, the tuna wasn‘t even eatable for cats and all toppings flushing down the surprisingly thin and crispy dough. But that didn‘t rescue my dish of rigatoni, that was clearly from the day before and tasted like old cooler.

Takeaway food not recommended. The pasta dish wasn't freshly prepared; it was just warmed up. The pizzas looked unappetizing. Never again.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed today. The pizza was very soupy, the tuna looked like cat food, the Parma ham had dried-out edges (fresh is different), and the pasta was from the day before. We don't understand authentic Italian pizza. One positive thing to note was the extra-thin pizza dough.

If you are nearby and want to eat and enjoy an excellent pizza, then you have found the right place.

We came with 6 people. Tables were only available for a maximum of 4 people. When we asked if there was room for us, the server seemed slightly annoyed and overwhelmed. We were almost ready to leave, and then another table was quickly and carelessly placed next to another. Since we had two children with us, it took a little longer to decide which drink they wanted. The server had to come to the table several times to ask. Or were the distances simply too short? 😌 It was quickly apparent that this wasn't a good fit. The server was friendly nonetheless, even if it came across as a bit fake. Unfortunately, there are no children's dishes on the menu, but requesting that the selected dishes be made a little smaller was no problem. This worked out without any problems. BUT, I was a little disappointed because my daughter's "smaller" portion of pasta was the same size as my "normal" portion. So, I didn't get full. My daughter's smaller portion actually cost less, but the fact that my portion, which was almost twice as expensive, was also very small was very disappointing. It tasted absolutely delicious, but the pasta size was a joke. (Unfortunately).

We ate at Giovanni's several times during our vacation. It was absolutely fantastic; the pizza and especially the homemade pasta were delicious. We can wholeheartedly recommend Giovanni.

The food is good, but not exceptionally good. The atmosphere is mediocre. Tables covered with tarpaulins, and chairs are wobbly. The service is extremely poor. Several times, our plates were delivered to the wrong table, and after half an hour, we realized our order had been forgotten.

Unfortunately, it wasn't as described by others. The waiter was arrogant personified. The food was okay, but nothing more. The ambiance is old and run-down. The chip shop at Cologne Central Station has better chairs and tables. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic pizza!! Pizzeria San Marco de Giovanni is a great place to sit down, kick back, and enjoy a delicious homemade pizza. This place combines fantastic Italian flavors with a great view of the castle. I had the pepperoni, salami, and ham pizza. This pizza was very good, and you can tell a real Italian chef is cooking it in the back. The other people in my group who had the same pizza agreed and said this is a must-try pizza. One of my fellow travelers ordered the carbonara and said it was one of the best they've ever had. It tasted like an authentic Italian recipe and was delicious. If you're ever in the area, head to Pizzeria San Marco de Giovanni for some great pizza or pasta.

We ate at Giovanni's several times during our short vacation in Schwangau. Whether it was pizza, pasta, or the more unusual venison ragout, we were highly satisfied every time. And to top it off, the personalized service and reasonable prices were excellent. If we ever return to Schwangau, we'll definitely stop by Giovanni's again.

Avoid this place. They charged €8–€10 per glass of plain tap water without warning. It wasn’t bottled, wasn’t on the menu, and we didn’t ask for it. On top of that, they added a 19% “fee” to the bill. This is a clear scam targeting tourists. Check your bill carefully—or better, just go somewhere else.

The food is very tasty. You can sit inside or outside. The service is very friendly and cheerful. We were full, the food was delicious, and we laughed and had fun. I definitely recommend it.

This was our first and last time here. Very unfriendly and unkempt staff; we felt unwelcome. When it comes to food, everyone has different tastes. Während unserem Urlaub in Schwangau waren wir 2 Mal in diesem Restaurant. Die Bedienung (ein junger Herr) war sehr freundlich. Nudel, Fleisch und Desserts waren sehr lecker. Der Teig der Pizza war sehr trocken und hart, hat uns weniger geschmekt.

This was our first time eating here and there is no need to repeat it. The service was very unfriendly and arrogant. You didn't feel welcome. The tip was also not appreciated. The waiter's strange, bizarre behavior left us irritated. The guest room has a pub feel with a regular's table at the counter in the middle of the room. Food was okay. However, good pizza can still be found elsewhere - and with good service. And you want both in combination if you want to have a nice evening.

A very good pizzeria with delicious dishes and a quaint host. Excellent value for money. A must for locals and tourists looking for good Italian cuisine at reasonable prices.

All in all, you should come here if you're looking for really quick food with acceptable to good taste and a fair price. Drinks and food arrived very quickly. In combination with the taciturn and not particularly friendly boss, it almost gave the impression that we should just eat there quickly and then leave quickly. Pizza was tasty and big enough, a little more toppings would have been fine; but it fits. Salad seemed fresh to me and had a delicious dressing. Both diners didn't particularly like lasagna - it was a bit bland and unfortunately the taste was no different to a ready meal. Unfortunately, the beer (and Radler) tasted very stale and even though I'm a big beer lover, I could hardly finish it. All in all, I found the visit funny because I liked the decor (simple, rustic, Vespa-like) and I found the boss's appearance funny despite the lack of seriousness. Everyone has a bad day sometimes :D

It's a delightful chaos. A bit of a wait but the dishes are delicious. The owner, I believe, is a character. Very friendly! Maybe because it was very busy on a Carnival Sunday in a city where there is practically nothing open after 8pm, the service was a bit slow but it's a place that apparently is frequented by friends and that makes the atmosphere warm.

Our favourite meal of our whole trip. The food was packed to bursting with flavour, I’m still thinking about the pasta days later! My daughter had the gluten free pizza, which was out of this world. By far the best stone baked base ever! And they offer any pizza toppings on the menu. The place was relaxed and had a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely visit again when we are next in schwangau

Stopping off at Giovanni's is a must, it's like coming home to Italian friends......! Food is very tasty!

As a family, we didn't find the food (3 different pizzas and spaghetti) that tasty. The edges of the pizzas were mostly charred, and the dough didn't have the quality we were used to. But the taste can certainly be debated. It pretty much depends on the person. It was pretty tight in the store. Dogs are also allowed there, which isn't particularly appetizing. A Great Dane sat half a meter from our table. For this reason we spontaneously ordered the food to take away. I found the prices for the drinks to be excessive.

Food is underground. We ordered different dishes for 9 people. Once across the map. There was everything from salad to pizza to pasta. I've never eaten so badly. There were rotten leaves in the salad, the pasta dishes weren't really edible because they were cold and indefinable, the kids' pizzas were dough with tomato sauce, a bit of salami or ham, all without any taste. The icing on the cake was that five euros were simply snatched out of my son's hand and he claimed it wasn't his money even though it fell out of his pocket. The pizzeria is not recommended because the food simply doesn't taste good.

Wir gehen gerne hierher. Die Pizza ist richtig lecker. Wir lieben sie und können diese nur empfehlen. Das Lokal ist recht klein, daher sollte man besser reservieren. Wir mögen dieses kleine, urige Restaurant.
