Excellent pizza eaten there, nice atmosphere

Stopping off at Giovanni's is a must, it's like coming home to Italian friends......! Food is very tasty!

As a family, we didn't find the food (3 different pizzas and spaghetti) that tasty. The edges of the pizzas were mostly charred, and the dough didn't have the quality we were used to. But the taste can certainly be debated. It pretty much depends on the person. It was pretty tight in the store. Dogs are also allowed there, which isn't particularly appetizing. A Great Dane sat half a meter from our table. For this reason we spontaneously ordered the food to take away. I found the prices for the drinks to be excessive.

Das Essen naja, was gibt’s dazu sagen es schmeckt einfach genauso wie man von einem Italiener erwartet. Lecker, lecker lecker Seine Gastfreundlichkeit ist einfach hervorragend. Er weiß, wie die Menschen umzugehen und es macht Spaß hier gewesen zu sein. Danke

Food is underground. We ordered different dishes for 9 people. Once across the map. There was everything from salad to pizza to pasta. I've never eaten so badly. There were rotten leaves in the salad, the pasta dishes weren't really edible because they were cold and indefinable, the kids' pizzas were dough with tomato sauce, a bit of salami or ham, all without any taste. The icing on the cake was that five euros were simply snatched out of my son's hand and he claimed it wasn't his money even though it fell out of his pocket. The pizzeria is not recommended because the food simply doesn't taste good.

It was the only thing open at 7pm in the entire place, spectacular service and the pizzas were also spectacular

Ordered pizza there yesterday, we had a price of €34.50 plus another €4 extra cost then there was a net sales of €46.77, tax total of €3.73 including sales tax 19% €4.5 In addition there was VAT 19% and cards another VAT 7% And VAT again 7% 15 € more In the end we paid 50 € and 50 cents for three small normal pizzas, which means one pizza came to 16.83 € We have already paid a lot of prices for pizzas but that is really awesome

Wir gehen gerne hierher. Die Pizza ist richtig lecker. Wir lieben sie und können diese nur empfehlen. Das Lokal ist recht klein, daher sollte man besser reservieren. Wir mögen dieses kleine, urige Restaurant.

The shop was full, but we were welcomed and served by friendly Giovanni. Very tasty, great atmosphere!

We went for dinner with a group of 10 people. From ordering to serving the dishes felt like 5 minutes. WORLD-CLASS pizza, WORLD-CLASS pasta dish. I would like to have a pizzeria like this where I live...1***

Kind and friendly, they make you feel at ease I especially love their spaghetti with clams, excellent salads and pizzas😋

I can only say positive things, everything was perfect, the food was delicious, we had pizza, fresh mussels and gnocci and a salad. Were served very nicely. Prices were also very cheap!!! Would definitely go again.

The inn and outdoor area are very dingy and unkempt. Parking facilities were not available. The restaurant looks more like a pub. Table decorations were very careless and it was very cold in the restaurant. We both chose a starter which was served together on one plate, we were then asked if we would like an extra plate. We've never eaten such bad bruschetta... During the main course the plate was handed to me. The spaghetti was ok, but we've eaten much better. An invoice was not issued. We have never had such a bad meal and do not recommend this restaurant.

Me and my brother walked from the thermal bath parking lot into the village. to eat: Cheap and very tasty food, although a little carelessly prepared. As the saying goes, "the eye sees" - unfortunately not the case here, more like a slap. Staff is friendly, but the boss (condition) doesn't take his job very seriously (normal clothes) - jeans and sweater), neither shirt nor nice work clothes. Beautiful Italian. Very delicious and timely service. The Cappuccino and Bruschetta were top notch h with loads of flavor. However, not on the menu they had a Gluten Free (Glutenfrie) crust that was so fluffy and delicious.

Delicious food, beautiful view of Neuschwanstein Castle. The owner speaks Italian, German and English. He was so kind and patient. He has Gluten free options for those who are celiac. My husband said it was the best gluten free pizza crust he has ever had. It was so soft. My pizza was wonderful and he was kind enough to give me extra basil for my pizza. The cappuccino was amazing!

When we were there there was only 1 waitress there. This young man was so quick and always friendly at the table. He works so quickly and is so friendly. Craziness. Of course the food was perfect too! Delicious!

We started by sharing a Capresse and then we had Rigatone al forno, delicious and very well priced! The atmosphere was very cozy, although without a doubt the best thing was the friendliness and kindness with which the manager treated us: always smiling and attentive. A place of 10!

I would have given even more stars for the food because the pizza is incredibly good! Service and ambience only 4 because the furnishings (I can only speak of the outside area, I've never been inside) were a bit old and the service seemed a bit overwhelmed. I think that's understandable since the restaurant doesn't have any days off and has always been very well attended.

Have 2 pizzas (cappriciosa, san Marco) to take away. The taste is ok but there is a lot of saving on ingredients, e.g. just 3 small pieces of artichokes. Price-performance didn't really suit us. The outside area where we waited was ok, but very loud because it was right on the main road. The “Italian flair” was a bit lacking there.

What should be highlighted is the possibility of getting the pizza with emmer flour. Friendly and quick service.

Inn and outdoor area unkempt. Service staff unkempt and overwhelmed. The food was served after a remarkably short time, but we had the impression that the dishes were not washed cleanly. Excellent food and friendly service. Caprese salad was fantastic and pizzas delicious. Try the orange soda! Service and food arrival were well timed and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. There is an enormous sunshade if you want to be outside and not in the sun.

If you are here in Schwangau, you need to go to Giovanni. We arrived at the restaurant and it was close to closing for the afternoon break, but we were still very well attended to. Pleasant atmosphere, Italian music in the background, staff with that unique accent and manner! Delicious and well served food, good prices. I highly recommend it!

The food was amazing, I ordered the, caprese and bolognese with a glass of red wine. The food came out fast and once again was amazing.

Very good food. The ambience was warm and inviting. A very nice little Italian restaurant where you can clearly see the heart behind it. The waiter was typically Italian, but came across as a bit harsh by German standards, but was still very happy. Clear recommendation for anyone looking for a great pizza with an Italian atmosphere.

Der Chef ist einfach ein Unikat! Er hat den Laden voll im Griff und ihm verzeiht man auch gerne mal ein Missgeschick wobei bei uns alles perfekt war! Ein Italiener mit Charme das Essen war gut und auch sehr schnell! Einfach Top! Gerne wieder!

Very great refreshing Italian charm with very good food

We were there twice in one week. The food was delicious and the kids were happy too!

Unfortunately it has nothing to do with gastronomy or good cuisine. The first and main courses are served at the same time, except for the pizza which was forgotten. Wine was served after the food had already been eaten. To eat: Spaghetti Vongole, sandy mussels, the dish overall without taste and without salt. The salad was too salty. Bruschetta very bland. Pizzas unfortunately very mushy and taste poor. Overall, apart from the reasonable prices, a big disappointment.

Food was very good, the salads and pizzas were very good, neither drowned in dressing nor too much cheese. Prices are also moderate.

The quality of the food is very good, unfortunately even in the snowless winter it is completely overcrowded and seats are actually only possible by ordering, two attempts, no room for two! Praise, we were at least able to take our food with us to go and eat at the guesthouse. The dining room was very noisy and, despite the large dining rooms, it was cramped and noisy because of the many guests. The staff literally ran. On the one hand, it's nice for the company, but on the other hand, the feeling of well-being is completely lost. In the end, we didn't regret not getting a seat there, but we did regret the delicious food to take away.

Sehr netter kleiner Italiener. Ich meine das ristorante nicht den Koch! Man schmeckt da ist ein Meister am kochen!! Frisch frisch frisch ist die Devise!!! Und so ist das Essen dann auch! Empfehlenswert!!!!!

Pizza used to be really tasty. Now average. Ambience rather poor. Everything was cluttered, old, the toilet area was very old and in need of renovation.

Ein kleines Schmuckkästchen, mit freundlichem Personal und natürlich einem Chef, der gastfreundlicher nicht sein könnte, mit viel Witz, Freundlichkeit und Charme versteht er seine Gäste anzusprechen und zu unterhalten. Hatten nicht vorbestellt ( unbedingt machen, wenn man einen Tisch will ) und durften an der Theke Platz nehmen. Eine tolle Entscheidung und ein toller Abend, Mittendrin statt nur dabei :-)

Gute italienische Pizza mit sehr freundlichen Service

Wir waren bereits im Somner dort. Man konnte draußen essen, einfach klasse. Dieses Mal in der Pizzeria hat es uns nicht so gut gefallen. Pizza,war wie immer klasse, Lasagne aufgewärmt und fie Schüssel schwarz verspritzt. Das sollte nicht sein. K Insgesamt kleine Pizzeria im Winter, nette Vedienung. Essen gat Luft nach oben

+ wir haben noch am selben Abend einen Tisch bekommen, mit zwei kleinen Kindern + Pizza war gut + die Nudeln mit den Garnelen waren ebenfalls gut. Allesamt entdarmt und lecker - Der Kinderstuhl war leider nicht sauber. Das ist sehr schade, weil man einfach nur mal mit einem Lappen drüber wischen müsste - Leider habe ich mich nicht sehr willkommen gefühlt. Service war sehr distanziert

Wir hatten nicht reserviert. Der nette Kellner hat es uns aber ermöglicht dass wir so lange an einen reservierten Tisch im Innenbereich sitzen durften, bis die anderen Gäste kamen. Es hat uns von der Zeit her locker gereicht zum Essen (Vorspeise, Salat und Hauptspeise). Vielen Dank dafür. Wir können euch mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen.

Ein richtig schönes Restaurant mit dem perfekten italienischen Ambiente. Erstklassiges Essen, leckere Pizza aus dem Steinofen & außergewöhnlich freundliche Inhaber & Mitarbeiter. Hier kann man sich als Gast nur wohlfühlen.

Wir haben eine Fischplatte für 2 Personen bestellt und 2 Teller bekommen lieblos Angerichtet teilweise noch innen Kalt nicht oder sehr sparsam Gewürzt. Sorry geht so mal garnicht. Das dazu gereichte Knoblauchbrot war naja direkt Kruste Steinhart also war nur das Innere zu Essen. Positiv der Salat war sehr Gut mit dem Dressing. Daher kann Ich persönlich keine Empfehlung abgeben.

nach der Anreise waren wir froh das dieses Restaurant an dem Tag geöffnet war. Der Gastraum wirkte nicht sehr gepflegt, leider konnte es das Essen auch nicht rausholen, es war ok aber leider auch nicht mehr.

Pizza hätte für den Preis deutlich üppiger belegt sein dürfen. Nudeln hatten einen etwas faden Geschmack und es gab keine Pizzabrötchen dazu. (Diese waren dem Mitarbeiter leider gänzlich unbekannt)

Alle Gerichte, die um uns herum serviert wurden, sahen vielversprechend aus. Das Rumpsteak mit Kräuterbutter war ein Traum. Auch die Tomatencremesuppe ist zu empfehlen!! Kellner und Chef sehr nett und schnell.
