Ristorante Pizzeria Da Pietro in Schwangau

Aufgrund der unzähligen Touristen, empfiehlt es sich in allen Restaurants der Umgebung, zu reservieren. Ich war zweimal dort essen. Ich habe lange nicht mehr so eine gute Pizza gegessen. Der Teig ist perfekt und es wird auch gelbes Tomaten Sugo verwendet. Richtig lecker… Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich. Ich hätte eher höhere Preise erwartet, weil Neuschwanstein so ein Touristen Hotspot ist.

We had a pasta which was full of flavours, well seasoned and incredible. The deserts are delicious as well, particularly Italian cheese cake and tiramisu. Highly recommended! One lady with little curly short hairs was friendly, amazing and welcoming.

We spent a week on vacation in Schwangau, including three meals at Da Pietro. No matter what we ate, from pizza to meatballs to pasta, everything was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and attentive, even taking the time for a quick chat. If we're in the area again next year, we'd be happy to come back. We definitely recommend it and give it three five-star ratings.

The food was delicious and tasty, we had a pasta which was full of flavours. The deserts are delicious as well, particularly tiramisu. One of the lady is super helpful and friendly, the other with coloured hair is not very nice though and kind of rude.

Very tasty pizza with friendly service. It's wonderful to eat outside under the trees, but since the road runs right by, it's very noisy. Therefore, two points deducted. It looked cozy inside... So, another point added 🤫

You can hardly get better Italian food than this. We spent a few days motorcycling in beautiful Schwangau and stayed at the hotel "Das Schwangau." The food at this Italian restaurant was so delicious that we didn't even bother trying the other restaurants. Excellent quality, freshly cooked, and very friendly service. What more could you ask for? High praise from the entire team in Lower Franconia!

It was very good! The service was very friendly and often asked (without being intrusive) if everything was okay. The food itself was really tasty, not the best I've ever eaten, but really solid.

We made a last-minute reservation and had a wonderful evening: child- and dog-friendly, with a great pizza with a thin, fluffy crust. The spaghetti al lime was a hit. An Italian restaurant that we can recommend with a clear conscience.

Wir waren zum Essen dort und waren echt begeistert! Die Atmosphäre ist locker und angenehm. Die Nudeln und die Pizza waren geschmacklich richtig top – alles frisch und super lecker. Außerdem ging es richtig flott, wir mussten nicht lange warten. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt: Die Parkplatzsituation kann etwas schwierig sein, da es ziemlich voll war. Aber das Essen macht das auf jeden Fall wieder wett – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Unfortunately we cannot recommend the pizzeria. At reception we were initially ignored for minutes. Then served unfriendly... The pizzas can be rated with a maximum of 3 stars. Unfortunately too little covering and a border that is too wide. Partly 3-5 cm edge without covering. The pizzas taste okay.

Wir kommen schon sehr lange nach Schwangau und dann ist es für uns ein Muss in dieser tollen Pizzeria essen zu gehen ! Wir werden immer sehr nett empfangen und die Pizza ist immer sehr lecker! Es wird auf unsere Wünsche, sofern es möglich ist, eingegangen und man kann sich immer sehr gut mit dem Personal unterhalten, man hat immer Zeit dafür ! Die Beratung bezüglich der Aperitifs ist sehr gut...und das Beste für mich ist, da ich schwere Allergikerin bin , ich also nicht alles essen und trinken darf, vertrage ich die Pizza sehr gut! Beautiful Italian restaurant with a large, idyllic beer garden. Very nice service staff... attentive, helpful and very accommodating. Kitchen simply TOP!!! Pizza, pasta, salads, fish... super fresh ingredients, high quality and simply delicious. The desserts are sensational! Special requests are gladly and easily fulfilled. We would love to come back!!

The two of us drank beer for €15, ordered Vitello Tonnato for €16 and a Pizza Carlo for €14.50. We wanted to share this pizza, so we asked for a second plate. This empty plate was added to the bill with €2.50 without comment. ATTENTION: TOURIST RIP-OFF!

Nice Italian cuisine in a scenic place!

Have been there several times. We were always very satisfied. The staff is very friendly and the service is excellent.

We ate there today with 6 people and we were all very disappointed. Hectic service and fake friendly. The food was completely seasonless. The pizza has a 3 cm edge on the outside with no toppings - just dough. Mild pepperoni on diavolo. Minced meat without flavor instead of salsicia. Anyone who offers a €18 pizza should also deliver. Pasta...just as boring and loveless. The neighbor's fish smells extremely like fish. We would have loved to have gone there. Fresh fish doesn't smell. Beer not carbonated and too warm. Everything is just loveless and boring. The white wine we ordered, which came in red, was the smallest problem. If you had asked us what it was like, we would have said the same thing. But nobody asks. The arrogant impression from 3 months ago was confirmed today. Too bad.

We were there very spontaneously, around 5 p.m. It's not a bad idea to be there early. You can still get a table to have something to eat. Since there are usually a lot of reservations, we recommend that you book a table early. The service was very friendly, courteous, attentive and on the same level. The kitchen itself doesn't start serving warm dishes until 5:30 p.m., so plan some time. But it's worth it because the chef knows his Italian craft. The food was very good and, above all, fresh, so you like to wait.

I was in the vicinity of the restaurant when I called to make a reservation and no one picked up the phone. 2 minutes later I got called back. It never happened to me before that a restaurant calls back a customer. The personnel apologized as she couldn't answer before. She confirmed my reservation which was due in 5 minutes and we were enjoying a very nice meal 15 minutes later. Great staff, really good food but the best is their service.

Endlich wieder und mit großer Freude bei Da Pietro !! Wir hatten Wochen vorher ein Tischlein reserviert und ahnten nicht das wir wieder unseren Lieblingstisch bekamen. Da hat Vanessa ein gutes Gedächtnis !! Wir feierten unseren Hochzeitstag und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und begrüßt mit einem Glas Prosecco. Wie immer hatte sie eine gute Idee über unser Menue, diesmal Vitello tonnato vorab und dann eine endlose Fischplatte die sowas von köstlich und schön angerichtet war. Unsere Wünsche ( wie Knoblauch und Olivenöl extra ) wurden alle erfüllt. Stets aufmerksam, zuvorkommend , sehr freundlich und immer ein Lächeln drauf.... was will man mehr!!?? Als wir gingen, nachdem genug gegessen und getrunken hatten, bekamen wir von Vanessa eine Flasche Wein als Geschenk..... das erlebt man nicht immer und überall!!! Schon als wir raus gingen bekamen es mit der Wiedersehenslust und Sehnsucht zu tun. Nun möchten wir uns, Christine und ich, sehr sehr herzlichst bei Vanessa und ihrem Team bedanken. Herzlichen Dank für den schönen Abend und auf ein Baldiges Wiedersehen. :o))

Just ordered pizza to take away. Apparently old map caught. Prices are already significantly higher. Salad didn't taste like anything. Pizza was good but not great.

During my two-week cycling holiday in October 2024, I was here several times and was extremely positively surprised that everything I ordered here, without exception, tasted very delicious. No matter whether the various pizza variations, the salads, the starters, the beer from the Schwangau Castle Brewery and even the fine spirits from the local distillery. My personal favorites: buffalo mozzarella, pizza Regina or strozzapreti (pasta) with gorgonzola sauce and spinach, hefeweizen and herbal spirit. To swim in! My family minister will also be there in mid-2025 and we are already looking forward to spending time together in this restaurant.

Yesterday we spontaneously went to the pizzeria after seeing a musical at the Festspielhaus in Füssen. We also spontaneously got a table for 3 people And we had a really delicious meal with super friendly service staff Really great Keep it up Until next time 👍☺️

I was searching in bad weather. From the outside it had more of a bar feel. But then I went in and it was confirmed, but in an uncomplicated, pleasant way. And the food was great! Really good gnocci and other dishes looked great too. Dough also possible as organic spelled for an additional charge... I thought it was great... A real Italian 🇨🇮👍😎

The overnight stay with breakfast was really great, everything was fine, only in the afternoon when we arrived we were there a little earlier than planned. Then we ate something in the restaurant that was also really tasty. Nice beer garden with old chestnuts, very nice staff and great menu

We didn't have a reservation, but we still got a table for two in the beer garden without any problems. The staff was very quick and very friendly, we didn't have to wait long at all for the food. We had the antipasti plate as a starter for two, a pizza each as a main course and tiramisu as a dessert and something else to spoon (unfortunately I forgot). Everything was incredibly delicious. Finally real Italian pizza again! Unfortunately she looked so good that I forgot to take a photo. We were very happy. The only thing to take away from the ambience is that the beer garden is right on a main road. But the traffic wasn't loud, we've had much worse. There are more than enough parking spaces, and the beer garden is partly covered and partly shaded by large, beautiful trees (I think chestnuts).

Of course the location at Hopfensee is really beautiful, but it is also very attractively decorated. The service is super friendly and the food is excellent. Delicious salads and pizza, we are looking forward to a next visit there.

Uno pensa "figurati se in Germania si può trovare una pizza come quella che fanno in Italia"... bene, scetticismo comprensibile, ma se venite in questo posto il dubbio ve lo risolvono subito. Pizza buonissima, soffice e con ingredienti di qualità, la mangi e se chiudi gli occhi sembra proprio di stare nel sud Italia. A tutto ciò va aggiunta la cortesia di una cameriera con i capelli rosa tagliati alla maschietta, che ci ha trattato benissimo e ci ha dato anche qualche consiglio per visitare i dintorni. Nota stonata la svogliatezza di un'altra cameriera che ci aveva portato le pizze ma senza le posate, prontamente ripresa da quello che penso fosse il proprietario (italianissimo, dall'accento probabilmente del sud). Buone anche le birre

Without reservation, you have to forget otherwise you will wait around for a little while watching the waiters pass by before the "smiling" head of the outside room comes to tell you that no... no room. Maybe it was necessary to open the interior room... (which was empty). In any case we ate at Marco's 25m away and we enjoyed ourselves so thank you, it's worth a star.

We came to eat 7 minutes after the lunch kitchen was closed to orders, we tried to ask if we could take a pizza to go but the waiter was super rude and impatient. Very condescending. It’s perfectly okay to say no, but you can be a bit nicer about it!

Il ristorante ha un aspetto un po' datato. Il menù è il classico menù dei ristoranti italiani all'estero, una miscellanea di piatti regionali conosciuti anche fuori dal nostro Paese. Noi abbiamo preso la pizza, assolutamente mangiabile e ben condita. Molto gentile e disponibile la cameriera che ci ha serviti.

We recommend. A very great Italian cuisine with fresh ingredients. Plus a very nice staff and great wine. Our dog was also very welcome on the terrace and was given his own water. What more could you want? We would love to come back next year during our vacation.

The pizzas and pastas were good, even very good. On the other hand, the Team service did not really seem to be a team. And one of the waitresses (with a rather exotic haircut) seemed quite jaded to us, or at least unenthusiastic...so 3.5 - 4/5. Too bad the dishes (and the ripasso by the glass) were nice.

Commendable cuisine, friendly staff, reasonable prices. For a restaurant that is mostly visited by tourists, exceptional quality! (Yes, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwanstein as well as Forggensee are next door).

We caught the staff on a bad day/at a bad time. They were clearly expecting a large party shortly after our arrival. (Maybe even soccer viewing party?) Indoor and outdoor seating each seemed to have their charms. Food was fabulous and priced fair.

We were staying down the street, didn't have dinner plans, so went for a walk and came across Da Pietro. Our family sat outside on the patio, had attentive service and found the food - pasta and pizzas - outstanding. We will definitely be back when we're next in Schwangau.

We were on vacation in Schwangau for 10 days. On the evening of our arrival, the large outdoor area attracted us to linger and eat. There was a lot going on. I asked the employee if she still had a table for 4 people. This was answered positively. We were given a cozy table under the trees. The food and drink menus arrived quickly. We found delicious drinks straight away. We ordered and shortly after, the drinks arrived. The very friendly service staff answered a few small questions about the food. We all ordered velvet pizza. 😋 We sat very comfortably. The fresh pizza took time. That's how it is with freshly prepared food. All pizzas came at the same time. This struck me as very positive. We ate our pizza with pleasure. Which is one of the best I've eaten. I would also like to mention the relatively extensive menu. If you don't find anything here, it's your own fault. The price-performance ratio is completely appropriate. For today, our evening before departure, we have reserved a table for the two of us. Is recommended. The quality was just as good today as it was last week. I really like this fact. I would like to say a lot of praise to Vanessa. Extremely friendly, empathetic, quick and easy to love. Thank you for two very enjoyable evenings with you at Da Pietro. Until next year. We'd love to come back.

Und wieder kamen meine Frau und ich hierher, wir konnten es kaum erwarten!! Wir kamen als Fremde und gingen schon das erste Mal als Freunde raus. Ich könnte minutenlang schreiben aber dadurch würde ich alle langweilen deswegen fasse ich mich kurz. Wer ( sehr ) gut essen möchte, schöne Stunden verbringen und sich besser als wie zuhause fühlen will, dann ist man hier ABSOLUT am richtigen Platz. Freundlichkeit und vor allem Fairness sind nicht zu toppen. Wer in Schwangau ist und kommt nicht hierher hat ein Leben lang was verpasst!! An dieser Stelle möchten wir uns, Christine und Rocky , bei allen von Da Pietro, für die schöne Zeit herzlichst bedanken. Freuen uns auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen!!!!! :o))

A super delicious meal served by the very nice staff. Just right after a hike. Unfortunately the main streets are right outside the door but if that bothers you there is also a very nice indoor area. While I was eating outside, a larger group came and without hesitation the friendly waitress offered to put a couple of tables together.

Best seafood pizza in Schwangau and the surrounding area

We called at lunchtime and no one answered the phone. As we later saw, the restaurant was closed at lunchtime. At 4 p.m., 1 hour before they opened, we got a call back from the pizzeria. They had seen our number and asked what we would like. Then we opened at 6 p.m Ordered a table for 3 people, ok, that's fine. I've never seen any other restaurant do something like that. Hats off to you, great. The reception was friendly and the table was shown straight away. The drinks and food came quickly and everything tasted really good. The prices are a bit high but if it's good you're happy to pay it. So we'll definitely be back.
