The burger resembled the traditional McDonalds (the flat one) more than anything else. Which at the price I felt wasn't worth it. The staff didn't feel hospitable, the view was solid.

Very good and friendly staff. I would like to come back.

It calls itself a cafe but has no cake on Sundays at 2 p.m. Although there were hardly any guests there. Waiter unsympathetic. Absolutely not a place to feel comfortable. No recommendation.

Ordered the gnocchi and it was half cooked and stuck to your palate. The waiter cleared the table and asked the standard question whether we enjoyed it. Since there was still 90% on the plate, I politely said that it was not good and not cooked enough. Then the waiter kept walking past us, very offended, without coming back or saying anything. When paying, it was just on the bill and no mention was made of it. Unfortunately, we can confirm the many bad reviews. And we are absolutely not demanding and rarely dissatisfied in a restaurant, but stay away from here!

So we can't understand the bad reviews. Our meat platter was 5 out of 5 and so was the pasta.

You have a great view of the Moselle. We had different dishes, including goulash soup, panini pollo, apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and cheesecake. Everything was super tasty and, above all, the soup wasn't a canned version 🤗👍🏻👍🏻 The service was super friendly, attentive and accommodating. The door was held open for us when we went in and out. Highly recommended 🥣🍰☕️

You really have to come from good homes if you want to be able to ruin an easy dish like Carpaccio... Better not order this if you can't swallow large chunks of food, because you could chew until you weighed an ounce, it was more like one tougher chunk of meat than if you ground it into pieces. Cutting with a knife was also not possible. There was also more lime juice than carpaccio. My husband had the rump steak with onions. It looked quite good. I had the pasta with prawns. These were literally a few rolls of lasagna sheets in tomato sauce from a package with THREE shrimp on top. The service (especially the man) is really unfriendly. You don't have to come here for your rest, by the way, if you are lucky (as we were) a whole bus of tourists comes into the restaurant and literally shouts you into the restaurant, without saying anything. We couldn't find a place anywhere else in the city because of the crowds (Christmas market), but next time I'd rather digest my own fat than eat here. In short: a waste of money.

We had a drink on the terrace. I went to checkout and I wanted to pay by card. That was not possible with amounts less than €20, which was snarlingly announced by the bartender. Apparently barking at a customer is easier than being friendly! Before I even got any cash, the waiter told me that in Germany you always have to have cash with you. Cheers!

We were there spontaneously and unfortunately were not served, although we were seen on the relatively empty terrace after waving several times. After waiting for 20 minutes we left again.

Unfortunately, my panini was a loveless baguette with grilled vegetables, mozzarella and olive oil - when I asked how it tasted, my response to my “it was OK” was nothing more than a confused look. The view is quite good but unfortunately that's it from my point of view. Too bad. ☹️

The salad was probably leftovers and had to go...ordered tuna, had to look for it...but cooked ham and cheese were in it...weird dressing, very sugary, no olive oil, which is at least what you expect from an Italian... So for a salad there was everything in it that didn't go together... Very very poor value for money...

Best place in Traben-Trarbach! The view is relaxing, vaste choice of delicious food and the employees are hard worker but also customer oriented. So you'll see them having fun with you while going back and forth in the terrace! Go there, start with a wine and then see where it takes you! Alessia

We got a seat at short notice and the waiters were honest and said that the food could take longer. I think it's great, then you know straight away. The food was delicious. View from the terrace perfect.

Had salmon carpaccio. Came to the table still frozen, it looked like cooked salmon instead of smoked salmon. Was served with celery and pomegranate seeds. Flavors definitely don't go together. Our ravioli was hard and tasteless, the cheese inside had not melted at all. The chef missed some lessons in real Italian cooking.

The “restaurant” lives from its location. We had a dish with a mushroom cream sauce. Unfortunately the sauce had no taste whatsoever and then so did the canned mushrooms. A no-go! Plates were cleared late and the bill only came after three reminders. No recommendation from us. Never again!

What bothered us is that nowadays we couldn't pay with the EC card because our drinks only cost €11, although I can always pay for a roll at the bakery with the EC card. Conclusion! Not recommended!!🙈

Food wasn't particularly flavorful. Vitello Tonnato was tasty. My son liked the ravioli, but there were so few of them that we had to order another portion so that the son would be full. Great view but very mediocre food.

Desinteressiert und unhöflich. Wir bestellten 4 Cola zum Essen danach, entschieden uns aber dagegen. Eine Zahlung mit Karte ist nicht möglich, nur Barzahlung. Als ich verärgert reagierte, erhielt ich eine Entschuldigung, aber zu spät. Auch andere Menschen, auch ältere Besucher, erfuhren die gleiche Behandlung. Nie wieder.

We reserved a table for a Friday evening with a group of 11 people. The view directly onto the Moselle is really great. Otherwise everything seems a bit loveless. The service was not overwhelmed by our group and drinks and food orders were taken and carried out quickly. The service was nice and had a relaxed attitude. I and the others in the group didn't like the food. My macaroni was tasteless and for the price I paid I would have expected more than 3 prawns. The pasta was also very al dente. When it came to a salad, fresh mushrooms were mentioned and canned mushrooms were brought. The ravioli were so carelessly prepared and looked like they had been slapped onto the plate with a ladle. The proportion between portions was also very unbalanced. All in all, it seemed very much like “quantity instead of class!” Because of its location it is a magnet for tourists. Unfortunately, price performance doesn't match. We were also charged for a drink that we didn't have. Recommended for a drink with a view on the terrace, but I would eat somewhere else!!

Sorry, but it is not good! The taste of the food was okay. The not so nice thing is the size of the meals at a really unreasonable price. In addition, the water is filled into old water bottles and sold for 6 euros. This is really deceiving customers.

We were in this restaurant for the public veering of the German national team. The atmosphere was great. However, as far as the prices are concerned: Suboptimal. For a schnitzel 25 euros...🧐Salad without dressing... Burgers were only available until 5 p.m., we were there 3 minutes later...no chance anymore. Then we were told: reservation only if we eat... Very nice view. Easy to reach on foot. We wouldn't visit it a second time.

We ate here today as a group. Very friendly staff. The food was excellent. The grilled calamari with grilled vegetables - excellent. The ravioli, fillet, tagliatelle with salmon and the salads are also really good. The prices are absolutely reasonable. Thanks to the team and the good cuisine! :))

We spontaneously came to eat. The service was good and quick, the house Riesling was very tasty. We had the pork medallions with mushroom cream and rosemary potatoes as well as the pike perch fillet with fries. Both were great, cooked to perfection and very tasty. For dessert we had homemade tiramisu. This is also recommended.

Unfriendly assigned a table, although a table with a view of the Moselle was free and no reservation was noted.. strange combination of dishes on the menu - even after asking again, very unfriendly pointed out that the table is not for three but for four... we didn't want anything eat more and set off again :(

Zeker niet aan te raden. De bedieningen was onvriendelijk, zelfs onbeschoft. De bestelde salades waren gedrenkt in een smakeloze yoghurtdressing en van een van de salades miste een aantal ingrediënten . Toen we daar wat van zeiden werd het bord zonder excuses weggehaald en later zonder een woord weer op tafel gezet. Eén van ons had een lentesalade met gamba’s besteld. Het meervoud in de beschrijving klopte: er lagen exact twee garnalen op het bord. Toen we hier iets van zeiden, was het antwoord: wat kan je voor die prijs verwachten? Na wat discussie hebben we de rekening betaald en zijn weggegaan, om door de serveerster nageroepen te worden: jullie hebben geen fijn leven zo. Nou, ons leven is een stuk beter geworden nu we hier niet meer hoeven te eten.

Service was poor. The salads we ordered were old and limp and seemed to be from a mixed salad pack from the supermarket. The Panorama salad arrived without cheese or ham promised. The reaction to our complaint was “This is no way to have a good life”!

Very unfriendly service, bordering on rude. Cutlery was plopped down and we were allowed to divide it ourselves. Curt answer. Very poor service for an expensive restaurant. Schnitzel was €25 and okay, but given the atmosphere in the restaurant: don't go here!

Difficult to pay by card, shaggy waiter

The typos of English language in the Menu and the hair in my food aside, the mozzarella panini was alright and fresh. My drink (cola) was tasteless. The fries my father chose with his dish were overly salted and drowned in grease. The service was great, people seemed nice and polite, one employee was always available watching over the diners if anything was needed. My mothers dietary/allergia needs were met (no milk products) after requesting it. Food came fast despite it being lunch rush hour.

The food was all right. I got an appetizer with the bread and tomatoes. Some of them were just over season with salt and others was just hard. I got the fettuccine salmon pasta. I would have liked the pasta to be Al dente. It was more mushy. The sauce was flavorful but the salmon was plain so I used the table, salt and pepper to add a little bit more flavor. But a lot of people enjoyed the hamburger.

Friendly staff. Nice location with views over the river and the city. Food was also very good. 6 different dishes and everyone was happy with them. Soup, panini, carpaccio, various burgers and pasta. Definitely a restaurant to come back to when I'm in the area.

Great bistro in a beautiful location with a view of the Moselle and the Moselle bridge. The drinks were fresh and well chilled. The meals were freshly prepared and delicious. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. Update April 13, 2024: Great food and drink and absolutely amazing staff.

Besonders zu vermeiden, trotz eines guten Empfangs ein lautes Restaurant eine unhöfliche Kundin, aßen wir nur unser Gericht, kein Dessert kein Kaffee, vier Tische taten dasselbe und beschwerten sich bei der Direktion. Geschmort zu gekocht, kein Gemüse in keinem Gericht

Be careful when ordering water here: You get so-called “premium water” in a bottle (which, by the way, is initially empty on the counter) for 6 euros. By the way, it tastes like tap water, maybe premium water flows through the pipes in Traben-Trarbach, who knows... - a rogue who thinks evil.

Came here for dinner with 3 other people. We had a nice seat inside with a wonderful view. The pasta with salmon cream sauce was absolutely fantastic. The burgers were perfectly cooked as well. The prices are very reasonable and the staff were attentive!

Accueil bizarre, pâtes au saumon pas top, scampi très bon mais 3 scampi dans l'assiette, gnocchi moyen, le seul plat correct calamars grillés mais pas assez cuits l'assiette à été remplacée. Je n'y retournerai pas.

Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is slecht! De bestelde appel-streussel kwam uit de diepvries en kostte 4 euro. 100 m verderop ligt een konditorei waar zelf gebakken taart onder de 4 euro op de kaart staat, die van een heel ander kaliber is en zoals “kaffee und kuchen” hoort te zijn. De bestelde kartoffelsuppe was totaal smakeloos. En er stond wienerschnitzel op de kaart die 22,50 euro moest kosten. Zeker geen aanrader!

Ein Italiener ohne Pizza auf der Speisekarte! Was aber in unserem Fall nicht schlimm war. Wir haben mit den Vorspeisen (Bruschetta und Vitello Tonnato) und den Hauptgerichten (Gnocchi und Ravioli) eine gute Wahl getroffen. Einfach, aber gut. Der Espresso mit einem Grappa Barrique rundete den Abend ab. Das Restaurant hat sowohl jede Menge Plätze draußen als auch im Gebäude selbst, fast immer mit Blick auf die Mosel und Traben. Und wird von einer offensichtlich italienischen Familie geführt - mit einer Leidenschaft für Fußball.

Wir hatten Fleisch, Kartoffeln, Pommes und Fisch. Alles Super. Preis war angemessen. Aber nicht zu Hoch. Empfehlenswert . Es lohnt sich aber vorher zu Reservieren !

Extrem leckeres Essen und wirklich nette Bedienung! Das beste Café-Restaurant, in dem ich je war! Ich hatte ein Panino Polo. Es war so köstlich, dass ich im gleichen Urlaub dort nochmal hingegangen bin. Das Erlebnis war perfekt. Schöner Ausblick, nette Leute, großartige Bedienung.. Was will man mehr?

Wir haben nicht gegessen weil die Bewertungen schlecht waren. Allerdings haben wir einen schlechten Service zu unseren Getränken genießen dürfen und mit 18,- noch nicht die Marke von 20,- Euro geknackt, ab der Kartenzahlung möglich ist. Kurzum: Dieses Lokal lebt von Kreuzfahrten und Tagestouristen die gnadenlos abgezogen werden. Muss nicht nochmal sein.

Sehr schöne Aussicht, Essen war in Ordnung, die Kellner waren eigentlich freundlich, jedoch haben wir trotz Vorspeise danach noch 1 1/2 Stunden auf unser Hauptgericht gewartet. Leider wurde nicht mal ein Getränk als Entschuldigung ausgegeben. Schade...

Belle vue. Les serveurs étaient peu souriants. Les pâtes aux saumons étaient très bonnes mais les gnocchis un peu fades. Nous avons pris une carafe d’eau plate, nous l’avons payer 6,00€, il a rempli la bouteille au robinet …

Bij ontvangst was de toon al gelijk gezet. Onprettig. We kregen een tafel toegewezen, waarna we de menukaart kregen. Na het bestellen van het drankje is er niemand van de bediening meer langs geweest en verder dan dit ene drankje zijn we ook niet gekomen. Om ons heen meerdere tafels die ook over de service klagen. En een ander duo kwam aan, werd aan tafel gezet, en is na een bepaalde periode onverrichter zaken ook weer vertrokken. Mooie locatie, maar dat is ook het enige dat dit restaurant mee heeft… Komen er niet weer…

Wartezeit 75 Minuten für Nudelgericht ist nicht akzeptabel 🤨 Essen dann auch nur mäßig… Bedienung unaufmerksam und unhöflich 😟 Riesling von schlechter Qualität 🤥

Zeer slechte en norse ontvangst waardoor we eigenlijk al wilden opstappen. Nadien toch maar iets gegeten wat prijs kwaliteit beneden alle peil was.
