ÖZ URFA Grillhaus in Heilbronn

We happened upon the restaurant today, more or less by chance. And we can safely say that it certainly won't be our last visit! Everyone was super nice! The staff member was so attentive that she noticed us taking a closer look at a skewer and immediately explained it to us – great! The ambiance is a bit too dark for me personally, but that's a matter of taste. The food was very good, more than adequate value for money. We'd be happy to come back 😊

Never eaten such bad Mercimek. Since when does Mercimek taste sweet? When ordering, I specifically asked them to add chili powder and lemon, but nothing was done. A truly terrible experience!

We've been coming back to ÖzUrfa regularly for years. The food is excellent in terms of quality and portion size. The service is courteous and prompt. The obligatory cay (black tea) after the meal is also part of the hospitality. You can tell that this family business is run with passion. Everything is just right! Great value for money!

The stinginess was obvious, which I find outrageous. Then we ordered another grill plate for one person. And here, too, the stinginess was obvious. I would never eat here again!

The waitress/staff were really helpful and friendly, and you can tell she wants her guests to feel comfortable. But you should be aware: On a Friday evening, you can expect to wait at least 45 minutes for your food, even for simpler dishes. Patience is required, especially if your stomach is already rumbling. The food was okay. However, don't expect Michelin-star quality. It's a kebab shop with seating, and that's exactly what you get: solid, simple food in a relaxed atmosphere. I don't mean that in a negative way—if you know what you're getting into, you'll be satisfied.

I ate at Özurfa in Heilbronn – absolutely recommended! I had the grilled platter: the meat was cooked to perfection, the rice was super tasty, and everything was incredibly good. Unfriendly staff.... The food, okay, is acceptable. The lady taking orders was very rude and liked to argue loudly with customers. Customers have no value here, at least not when this woman is serving you. The atmosphere after the discussion was very bad. I would leave the restaurant immediately if I were there alone... Never again...

I m in the restaurant for 60 minutes and stil no food served. Stil waiting. Only one waitress there. She has no time at all. That makes everything ridicilious. This place is max 2 star deserves. Do not order Lahmacun, it is not Lahmacun at all. Pide bread is not fresh. Every table is nearly full of dirty plates. No look good at all. It might be good for the people who never seen what good service is. Sorry but im suprised how this place get 4.6!!! Glass of water 2,90 euro!!!! Never ever come back here.

Everything used to be fine here – but now? A disaster! You can't even pay by card anymore – only cash in 2025?! Unbelievable. But the worst part: We waited 54 (!) minutes for a soup and a hot meal. 54 minutes! Almost an hour! For a bit of food! No one came, no one apologized – complete ignorance. I was truly speechless. If you're hungry – eat somewhere else first before wasting your time here. I'll NEVER be back. An absolute disappointment.

The meat dishes are good. However, the quality of the doner kebab has unfortunately declined. It hasn't been as good as it used to be for a few months.

We were very disappointed with our visit. Coincidentally, card payments weren't accepted – something they could have told us when we made our reservation over the phone, or at the very latest, upon arrival. Instead, we had to go to the bank to withdraw cash. Furthermore, no one checked in during our stay to see if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. Unfortunately, that was very unprofessional.

I discovered the Öz Urfa Restaurant while studying in Heilbronn, and since then, I've enjoyed returning whenever I'm in the city. Even though there are sometimes longer periods between my visits, I'm always amazed at how consistent the quality has been—and it's been for over 10 years. The kebab with doner meat is, for me, simply the best I've ever tasted: perfectly balanced in flavor, wonderfully crispy and juicy at the same time. Exactly what you'd want. In conclusion: If you're looking for a really good doner kebab or Turkish specialties in Heilbronn, you should definitely stop by Öz Urfa. It's worth it every time!

The grilled products taste really good – juicy, spicy and to the point. The kebab also impresses with its good taste and fresh ingredients. No exaggerated hype, but a solid shop that you'll be happy to stop by again and again. If you're in the mood for honest grilled meat or a delicious kebab, you've come to the right place.

It's currently unbearable heat at lunchtime... The meat is mostly minced... The shop looks attractive but I think the quality of the meat is a bit lacking. Conclusion: if you are nearby you can try it, but my visit here didn't blow me away. Edit: on my last visit. A lady drops the flatbread on the floor and then she serves it to me?! You normally throw something like that away and don't just run left and right then act as if nothing had happened and carry on with the part... Something like that doesn't work at all.

We always enjoy eating here, whether on site, to take away or now also delivered via Lieferando. The food is always super tasty and fresh. Have tried quite a few things on the menu and have never been disappointed. The service is always efficient and friendly, and we've never had the problem of not being able to find a seat, even though it was busy.

It was our first time in ÖZ Urfa in Heilbronn. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The employees were very courteous and friendly. And the food was simply great. We can definitely recommend ÖZ Urfa.

An absolute must for Turkish cuisine lovers! The Öz Urfa Grillhaus in Heilbronn impresses with authentic, freshly prepared dishes and a warm atmosphere. The meat is grilled to perfection, the side dishes are fresh and tasty, and the bread comes to the table warm - simply delicious! The Adana Kebab and the Lahmacun are particularly a highlight. Service is friendly, attentive and quick, even when it's busy. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the atmosphere invites you to feel good. If you are looking for real Turkish enjoyment, you should definitely visit the Öz Urfa Grillhaus. I'll definitely be back!

It was my first time there. The food was very, very tasty. I had a generous portion of the chicken pan, which was beautifully decorated. The staff was also very friendly and happy to have a quick chat. Two thumbs up. I'd be happy to come back.

Achtung nur Barzahlung!!!….das steht aber nirgends🤷🏼….‘man muss man fragen ob Kartenzahlung geht’ ; Das hat man mir leider sehr unfreundlich gesagt, als ich fragte wo das steht…also ein Hinweis ist schon angebracht, denn bei Angeboten (u.a. für 32€ pP) hat man als Familie schnell über 100€ aufm deckel. Das Essen war lecker - nervt aber wenn man danach zum Geld-Automaten muss. Bei den stolzen Preisen ist 2025 Kartenzahlung ein MUSS! Das ist ja keine Dönerbude, sondern ein Grillhaus/Restauraunt. Schade eigentlich / kleiner Zettel mit Barzahlerhinweis und gut wärs gewesen. Gehe nur wieder hin wenn ich mit Karte zahlen kann. Und frag mich warum nur Bar in so einem Laden? ….die genervte Dame an der Kasse und und die Bargeldfalle haben andere hier auch schon zu schlechten Bewertungen ‚gezwungen‘….sollte mal einer dem Chef sagen;-)

The food was delicious - but it's annoying when you have to go to the ATM afterwards. With the high prices, card payment is a MUST in 2025! This is not a kebab shop, but a grill house/restaurant. It's a shame / small piece of paper with a note about paying in cash and that would have been good. I'll only go back if I can pay by card. And I wonder why only a bar in a store like this? ....the annoyed lady at the checkout and the cash trap have already 'forced' others to give bad reviews....someone should tell the boss ;-)

Bad experience – not recommended Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was anything but pleasant. The service was unfriendly and not very customer oriented. Taking the order seemed chaotic and you had the feeling that you weren't really welcome. The food also left a lot to be desired - it was served cold and was partially burnt. What was particularly irritating was the fact that even small extras such as a little ketchup or additional bread were billed separately and in an unpleasant manner. Overall a disappointing experience. I will not recommend this restaurant.

Die Bestellaufnahme war chaotisch, und man fühlte sich eher als Last denn als geschätzter Kunde. Auch das Essen konnte nicht überzeugen – es war kalt, teilweise verbrannt und geschmacklich enttäuschend. Besonders negativ fiel auf, dass selbst für Kleinigkeiten wie ein zusätzliches Stück Brot oder ein wenig Ketchup extra gezahlt werden musste – und das auf eine sehr unangenehme Weise kommuniziert wurde. Schade, aber ich kann dieses Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen.

The order was taken in the most unprofessional manner and the staff seemed to have little interest in the guests' welfare. The food itself was a big disappointment: cold, partly burnt and lacking in taste. What was particularly annoying was that even the smallest extras, such as an extra piece of bread or a small packet of ketchup, required outrageous additional costs. The way these fees were communicated was also extremely rude. Overall a very negative experience - definitely not recommended!

The Turkish pizza (natural) was okay, but the Turkish pizza with meat was actually terrible... Dürüm Kebap and Dürüm Chicken unfortunately didn't convince us either. Unfortunately, onions are very bitter. All in all, pretty flavorless. Staff don't know their own prices either, very annoying during the payment process. In fact, my husband is still hungry.

We ate here on the recommendation of friends. The ambience is good, the tables were clean and there was a very good atmosphere in general. Warning to everyone: This restaurant is an absolute disaster! I can only strongly advise anyone not to enter this restaurant at all. It was by far the worst experience we've ever had in a restaurant - and not just because of the terrible food. There were seven of us there and none of us could finish our food. It was tastelessly prepared and just disappointing. But as bad as the food was, what was actually shocking was the behavior of the staff, especially one particular waitress (name was something with K, maybe Kezban or Kibariye). My little nephew and his sister just wanted to sit down at the neighboring table for a moment to take a photo together. The table was completely free, no one was disturbed, and the two children were completely calm and polite. No noise, no running around, just two children who wanted to sit together for a moment for a souvenir photo. But suddenly this waitress came rushing towards us – loud, aggressive and extremely disrespectful. She screamed at us as if we had done something else and forbade the children to sit there in a tone that I don't even want to repeat here. I asked her who decides and she said she was the boss (which I honestly don't believe). But that wasn't enough: she continued to talk to us in a way that was absolutely unacceptable. Loud, disrespectful, waving wild hands in front of our faces, condescending, rude and just plain insulting. I made it clear to her that I did not accept such behavior. But she just kept going, then brought in another employee and loudly complained about us while continuing to speak to us at this disrespectful level. I was really shocked. I have rarely felt so uncomfortable. For a moment I even thought she was about to physically attack us - her whole attitude was so aggressive. And what hits me the most: How can you treat children like that? Two quiet, sweet children who just wanted to take a photo! It still makes me stunned and angry that a waitress would dare to be so stupid, disrespectful and aggressive towards children and guests. This crosses every limit and is absolutely unacceptable! For me it is clear: This restaurant not only gets zero stars from me, but minus points. I will advise everyone around me not to do this and am even considering making an official complaint.

We always come here to eat when passing through Nuremberg. The food tastes excellent, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Gladly again and again!

So first of all we waited an hour for the food after sitting down, we also had to wait for a seat even though there was space available and finding a parking space was also difficult. Then the prices on their website are also wrong, and it's not cool to find out so late. And when the food finally came, it tasted good at first, but in the end my whole mouth just tasted like pepper and it was really no longer pleasant, I have to say. The service isn't great either, so there's really absolutely no reason to come here.
