Öz Urfa Grillhaus, what have you done to me? One bite and my stomach is in crisis mode. Bread hard as concrete and meat sad and gray. I just wanted a doner kebab and got traumatized. I come in hungry, leave with regret. This doner kebab turns hope into nothing but dust. The salad is so tired it needs a coffee. And the sauce tastes like it might be expired, okay? The meat is rotating, but it doesn't taste good. More like a quiet, gentle farewell. I ask for it to be spicy, I muster up the courage. Afterwards, my mouth really needs a lot of blood. Öz Urfa Grillhaus, a culinary crime. The bread breaks before I can speak. Google asks for 4 stars, I wonder who gave them. Was that meant ironically or just a sly joke? 180-degree rotisserie, but zero emotion. This doner kebab has less soul than a telephone booth. The price is like a gourmet meal, but the taste is accidental. I've had better. Unfortunately, it's not as welcoming as it used to be. Super cozy and delicious! Unfortunately, card payments are not accepted.

The service was absolutely terrible. They forced us to withdraw cash at Penny, even though we could pay by card there. This wasn't indicated, and tempers flared. Never again! The "doner meat" was clearly from a vertical rotisserie and tasted cheap. Occasionally, the staff were too lazy to slice the whole thing properly. The lahmacun was more like a small yufka that definitely wasn't worth the price.

I've tried many Adana kebabs, but unfortunately, this visit to Öz Urfa Grillhaus didn't impress me. The Adana kebab didn't appeal to me at all. Furthermore, the fries tasted like they hadn't been oiled in ages, which was clearly noticeable in the flavor. A shame.

I'm really disappointed with my visit. I ordered a mixed grill and had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes for it – even though guests who arrived after me received their food much sooner. When the dish finally arrived, it was a complete letdown: tasteless, stale, and nothing like a freshly prepared grill. For €23, I practically received a child's portion. Even I, who don't usually expect much, was shocked by how small and uninspired it was. Overall, the service was very disappointing, and the food was in no way worth the price. I definitely won't be eating here again.

A very good restaurant with truly delicious food. The soups, the mixed grill, and the güveç (a type of stew) with vegetables and meat, cooked in a clay wood-fired oven, are particularly recommended – all very aromatic and fresh. My only minor criticism: The etliekmek (a type of sausage) prepared in the Konya style doesn't quite match the original in taste. Overall, however, it's a great restaurant with many authentic dishes that I can definitely recommend.

I've never ordered such a terrible product, let alone tried it. I waited a very long time for the delivery, and I can already throw the whole thing away. After I called, I had to listen to a woman who couldn't even speak properly cursing me and yelling at me to die. I've never encountered such rudeness. Instead of being accommodating, she yelled at me to leave a bad review. I can only shake my head. This woman shouldn't have any customer service. If I could deduct stars, they would be negative 🙄 I only had to give this one star to be able to leave a review.

As if that wasn't enough, we paid exactly €85.50. I didn't argue at the register and paid by card right away. After thinking about it for a moment, I realized it was way too expensive. So I asked for a receipt, which they refused to give me because I paid by card. The cashier was immediately annoyed. According to my receipt, it should have cost a maximum of €70. That was the last time!! *Regardless, the doner was the worst I've ever had... *The Iskender was soaked in oil. *The lentil soup felt watered down, and that's how it tasted...

We waited over an hour for our food, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. When we pointed out to the waitress that it was simply too long, she responded in an extremely unfriendly and rude manner, "Yes, that's the case everywhere." I then pointed out that it wasn't like that everywhere and that it was extremely long and unfriendly to customers. Then she simply ignored it and moved on. The restaurant is not at all customer-oriented and doesn't accept criticism. The food itself is nothing special compared to other restaurant standards.

ÖZ URFA Grillhaus – Heilbronn – one of the worst kebabs I've ever eaten I visited the restaurant a few days ago and ordered a kebab for pickup over the phone. They said it would be ready in five minutes, even though I thought I'd be there in ten. So, when I arrived at the shop, I hoped my kebab would already be ready – but I was wrong. It hadn't even been started yet and was being freshly prepared right in front of my eyes. Meanwhile, I wanted to take a few photos of the shop, but the response was anything but suspicious and even slightly aggressive. I almost felt like I was being cross-examined, because I was asked countless questions about why and how I was doing this. It left a very unpleasant aftertaste. When the kebab was finally ready, I took it outside and tasted it right there in the door. At first, I was pleasantly surprised by the size and weight. Absolutely reasonable for the price. Unfortunately, that was the only bright spot. The meat was barely browned, more like barely cooked, and the taste was absolutely disappointing. No fried flavor, no seasoning—just bland. Added to that was a completely unbalanced mix: far too much salad, far too little meat. The meat didn't seem particularly high-quality to me anyway. The sauce was probably mostly mayonnaise, but nothing could salvage it. The only thing I really liked was the flatbread from the charcoal oven. It was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, that's not enough when the rest is so weak. In the end, most of the kebab ended up in the trash because it was truly inedible to me. At least the restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained and made a good visual impression. But that's pointless when the food is so poorly prepared and tasty. For me, this place is absolutely not worth a second visit.

As for the food, you can't complain; it was really good. But having to wait about 40 to 45 minutes for the food, even though most of the guests had left, wasn't so pleasant.

We've been coming back to ÖzUrfa regularly for years. The food is excellent in terms of quality and portion size. The service is courteous and prompt. The obligatory cay (black tea) after the meal is also part of the hospitality. You can tell that this family business is run with passion. Everything is just right! Great value for money!

But you should be aware: On a Friday evening, you can expect to wait at least 45 minutes for your food, even for simpler dishes. Patience is required, especially if your stomach is already rumbling. The food was okay. However, don't expect Michelin-star quality. It's a kebab shop with seating, and that's exactly what you get: solid, simple food in a relaxed atmosphere. I don't mean that in a negative way—if you know what you're getting into, you'll be satisfied.

Do not order Lahmacun, it is not Lahmacun at all. Pide bread is not fresh. Every table is nearly full of dirty plates. No look good at all. If you're hungry – eat somewhere else first before wasting your time here. I'll NEVER be back. An absolute disappointment.

I discovered the Öz Urfa Restaurant while studying in Heilbronn, and since then, I've enjoyed returning whenever I'm in the city. Even though there are sometimes longer periods between my visits, I'm always amazed at how consistent the quality has been—and it's been for over 10 years. The kebab with doner meat is, for me, simply the best I've ever tasted: perfectly balanced in flavor, wonderfully crispy and juicy at the same time. Exactly what you'd want. In conclusion: If you're looking for a really good doner kebab or Turkish specialties in Heilbronn, you should definitely stop by Öz Urfa. It's worth it every time!

The grilled products taste really good – juicy, spicy and to the point. The kebab also impresses with its good taste and fresh ingredients. No exaggerated hype, but a solid shop that you'll be happy to stop by again and again. If you're in the mood for honest grilled meat or a delicious kebab, you've come to the right place.

It's currently unbearable heat at lunchtime... The meat is mostly minced... The shop looks attractive but I think the quality of the meat is a bit lacking. Conclusion: if you are nearby you can try it, but my visit here didn't blow me away. Edit: on my last visit. A lady drops the flatbread on the floor and then she serves it to me?! You normally throw something like that away and don't just run left and right then act as if nothing had happened and carry on with the part... Something like that doesn't work at all.

Have tried quite a few things on the menu and have never been disappointed. The service is always efficient and friendly, and we've never had the problem of not being able to find a seat, even though it was busy.
