We all felt sick after the meal. Very overpriced. Service was poor. Never again.

Sofra Heilbronn – Very tasty kebab & large portion I was back at Sofra in Heilbronn a few days ago, after having tried the grilled dishes and the kunefe there several times a while ago – both of which I can still highly recommend. This time I decided to try the classic kebab – and I wasn't disappointed. The kebab tasted great: The meat was juicy, well-seasoned, and there was a decent amount. According to the man behind the counter, everything is made in-house, including the skewer – of course, I can't verify this 100%, but the kebab definitely didn't feel like a convenience product. The other components – salad, sauce, and bread – were also of good quality. The bread was fresh and had a pleasant consistency. Only the cocktail sauce was a bit too overpowering for me – next time I would either leave it out or use only a small amount. The portion was large and very filling, and the price-performance ratio was absolutely perfect for me. The service was also very good – the men in the shop were friendly, attentive, and happy to answer all my questions. The shop itself is clean, modern, and feels very organized thanks to the digital menus on the TVs. Even if it's not a "special" kebab with yaprak skewers or steak, the overall impression is very positive, and I will definitely be back. In addition to kebabs, they also offer daily specials, stews, and delicious grilled dishes – there's still a lot to discover. For me, the kebab at Sofra is definitely one of the better ones in Heilbronn! A clear recommendation!

Not recommended. We've had some bad kebabs, but this one is truly not recommended. The entire salad was forgotten on the kebab; only two tomatoes and the ordered feta cheese were on it. Overall, the food was very tasteless; the meat was fatty and flavorless. We won't be ordering anything from here again. The only positive thing was that the kebab was ready quickly.

The food is really good, there's nothing wrong with that. But when it comes to the way they treat guests, I'm honestly quite disappointed. They don't accept reservations for Saturdays, even for larger groups. We wanted to come with ten people, including visitors from Berlin, and we were simply told to just drop by spontaneously. That's neither customer-friendly nor appreciative—quite the opposite: It seems as if they don't really need guests, or as if they're consciously choosing the more convenient option. But especially for a group that plans ahead and looks forward to an evening together, that's not an acceptable attitude. I would have liked to recommend the restaurant—but with such a lack of accommodatingness and customer focus, I will consciously refrain from doing so. It's a shame, because the food deserves it. Good food alone isn't enough; elsewhere you get quality and hospitality in a double package.

I was at Sofra this evening and ordered a Yofka. When I took off the film, I saw that the entire thing was ripped through, and it was soggy. I went back to the store and they just rolled bread on it. And the employee didn't care. Really, never again.

Unfreundliches Personal , Portionen sind winzig wie für ein drei Jährigen und daher extrem überteuert. Nach dem Essen bin ich hungrig wieder raus. So das ich noch bei einer Bürgerkette halt machen mußte. Fazit : Nicht Empfehlenswert !!!

We come from North Rhine-Westphalia and are here for the assembly. We have been to a few other Turkish restaurants but I have to honestly say the best so far in Heilbronn. Top satisfied. Everything was fresh. Service was top. If you are here again definitely SOFRA 💪🏼💪🏼

Good food and nice choice of meals and dishes. I was expecting a staple house sauce or dish but this did not impress, it was a bit blunt for my taste. However somebody else might find it great. The portion is generous enough though and overall there is a nice friendly atmosphere. A place to enjoy some nice dishes with friends and family definitely nice 👍

Best kebab there is now. Only the 90s could surpass it. The meat is super good. Service is also good. Ambiance only 4 because it is a bit crowded when the shop is full. Wednesdays 7-9pm are also full. Then it gets a little louder. But in the summer it spreads outside, which is better. There is a larger parking lot nearby, about 250m

"Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. We wanted to reserve a table for a birthday, but were told on the phone that no reservations were accepted and that we should drop by spontaneously. However, all tables were reserved on site - with the reason that this only applies to guests who break the Ramadan fast. We find this unfair and discriminatory. It's a shame, we were looking forward to the visit!

The Saç Kebab was 10/10, and all the side dishes were perfect, too. The Tavuk Sis was super tender and juicy. Service was attentive and quick. Prices are totally reasonable.

The iskender was tasty, even if the meat was a bit burnt. The young waiter was also extremely personable and nice. But unfortunately the atmosphere is not as nice as in Neckarsulm, for example. So takeaway is enough, but I wouldn't necessarily eat there.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed because I would love to come back again and again, but lately you can't rely on the staff because things are constantly being forgotten. For example bread, sauces and sometimes grilled meat. I also paid almost up to €100 for portions. Then you expect something, but I'm disappointed and I'm not considering coming here anymore and I won't recommend it at all

Usually the grill house I trust that I like to visit with my friends. But I was there once with my girlfriend and suddenly I was treated completely differently. We waited almost half an hour for our food (kebab plate and Yufka menu), while other guests who ordered after us had long since received their food (also kebab plate and lahmacun). The drinks I ordered were simply forgotten and when I asked, people responded with annoyance, as if I had said an insult. When paying, I was once again given the impression that we were more tolerated than wanted here. Normally I would say the staff were perhaps having a bad day, but the same staff got along brilliantly, chatted and even sat down with the guests at the table. Why this visit was not at all pleasant compared to the visits with my friends is a mystery to me. Hopefully this experience was an exception and will not become a permanent situation. I won't say much about the food, as always it was very good. 10/10

The food tastes okay, but unfortunately I have to agree with the other reviews. The restaurant is relatively empty, and yet after the first order you often have to wait a long time to receive a second round of drinks or tea. Despite repeated eye contact with the waiters, calls for staff or glances at the tea counter and at the boss, there is often no reaction. Of course we are all human and no one expects people to work like robots here, but this isn't the first or second time - it's always been the same with the service over the last three or four visits. I don't recommend this place to people who want to be seen.

Doner kebab is not recommended, but the pizzas, meat soup and the koffta grill plate were delicious.

Went there for the first time today to get kebab. Arrived home, opened it and was amazed. Hardly any meat, lettuce was not washed, still cut into pieces, onion with end piece. The meat had no taste and was rather sticky. This is the second time I've occupied the throne, with stomach cramps and wheezing.

My friend and I have already tested a few kebabs and falafels all over Bavaria. But this grill house in Heilbronn is by far the best restaurant with the most delicious dishes. The service is also impeccable. We drive an extra 200km once a month to be able to eat there. Big praise to this restaurant!
