We were there for the first time a long time ago and we liked it back then. However, when we were there a second time (also a long time ago) we were unfortunately disappointed that evening. All good things come in threes, so we were back there today with our youngest. And we ate more than fantastically. The food is simply spicy, tasty and professionally prepared and served. The service is courteous and discreet. The price-performance ratio is very good. Grazie for the good luck and the service. Torneremo presto.

Wir waren vor langer Zeit das erste Mal da und damals hat es uns schon gefallen. Jedoch, als wir ein zweites Mal da waren (ebenfalls schon lange her) wurden wir leider an diesem Abend enttäuscht. Alle guten Dinge sind drei, somit waren wir heute mit unserem jüngsten wieder vor Ort. Und haben mehr als fantastisch gegessen. Das Essen ist einfach pikant, schmackhaft und professionell angerichtet und serviert. Der Service ist zuvorkommt und dezent zurückhalten. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Grazie per la buona cena e l'ottimo servizio. Torneremo presto.

Very tasty food and a nice/familiar atmosphere. We were there today with four people + dog. There is a variety of different dishes, and every pizza and pasta dish can also be made gluten-free. In my case there was gluten-free pasta Alla Panna (ham, spinach, fresh mushrooms, parmesan and a delicious cream sauce), it was really very tasty, would be happy again.

I was simply amazed, Italian cuisine and gluten-free too! My first "away pasta" in 8 years... Our food was really very good. We'll be back next year, promise!

Very nice restaurant located directly on the beach promenade. We picked up something on our walk. Unfortunately, the food couldn't keep up with the reviews or the look. To be optimistic, the pizza was lukewarm (which was definitely not due to transport) and the Papadelle Bolognese had a huge shot of Olio Peperoncino, making it the spiciest Bolognese I have ever had on my plate. It's a shame because the prices were definitely premium. Not bad in terms of taste, good ingredients, but unfortunately the execution resulted in a significant reduction in the B grade.

We often find 5 star reviews to be credible, but this was truly one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. The service was very professional and courteous. The food was authentic and very tasty. If the restaurant had had my closing days, we would have gone straight back the next evening. It's a shame we don't live nearby. Thank you!

Nice restaurant, well attended by many guests. The food on offer was very good on both visits. Unfortunately, in our opinion, the service is overwhelmed by the many guests. We had to order and then wait 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive. The food we ordered came again, around 30. Minutes later. The service was friendly despite a lot of work.

Made to wait 25 minutes, then said "we're getting your table ready now". Although there were 3 tables free inside and 7 tables outside. Lots of waitresses and 3 cooks, but completely planned, confused and slow.

However, having Italian rock music coming out of some cheap loudspeakers ruins the best meal... My wife liked her pasta dish, the pizza was average. Anyway, given the reviews here we were expecting something much better.

Good Italian food, nice atmosphere, attentive staff. The price level is in the upper middle range but the quality is worth it. The decor is rustic but cozy. There are also tables outside. You should reserve a table in advance.

Garlic Pizza Great, it just tastes good.

It's not without reason that this restaurant wins awards every year! Great atmosphere, very nice and attentive staff and what tops it all off: the food is so incredibly delicious! And before you can think about when the food will come to the table, the waitress stands next to you and asks who gets what!!! Sensational! The portions? So I don't get stuffed that quickly, but I have to think about whether I want an appetizer or a dessert. I won't be able to do both plus the main course! The prices are absolutely right for the enjoyment you get from the kitchen! 78€ for two people = 4 drinks, 1 espresso, 2 main courses and desserts. For me it's the best Italian restaurant I've eaten at so far!

Great atmosphere, especially because children, if they are there, can go straight to the visible playground. Pizza like in Italy, a dream! Completely satisfied! If we were regular guests, it would be Osteria Rustico in Hamburg! We'll be back next year!

Last night we reserved a table for six people at 6 p.m. We were given the choice of whether we wanted to sit inside or outside, although we chose outside and sat under the vines. The drinks were served quickly and shortly afterwards the starters arrived (the antipasti platter for 2 people costs €22.90, but is worth every cent!). The main courses and desserts also impressed everyone! After paying, all adults received a digestif “on the house”, which has unfortunately become increasingly rare these days. In a nutshell: If you would like to eat Italian food in Heiligenhafen, you should definitely go to Osteria Rustica! We will definitely come back on our next Heiligenhafen holiday!

Pizza is a decent size and tastes very good. Side salad was also good, although at first impression it seemed a bit small to me, but it only cost 5.20 euros. But it was enough. It should be positively emphasized that adults were given a digestif. Unfortunately, the children come away empty-handed here. The only thing we noticed this time, we couldn't remember on the first visit, was that we had to wait a long time for the pizza and salad, It took almost an hour for 4 pizzas and it wasn't particularly crowded anymore.

3 x pizza and 1 x call zone super delicious. The large salad with turkey strips had no dressing and tasted like pure salad. Ambiance and location great.

The service outside was very poor!!! Pizza and Coke (in bottles) were brought to us, but I had to get cutlery and glasses myself because they had been “forgotten”. You asked for something, the waitress wanted to take care of it and then “forgot” it again. One waitress looked very bored and annoyed. I'm always happy to give tips. But 20 cents was already too much for me... My conclusion: I DON'T NEED IT AGAIN That's really a pity

Way too long of a wait (>1.5 hours) for drinks and food. If the kitchen and service cannot handle the number of guests, there simply cannot be as many tables released. Unfortunately, that completely ruined the really good food. We won't be coming back.

We (2 adults and a child) went to this restaurant for dinner today. It was very well attended. You have to reserve a table, otherwise you have bad cards. We placed our order. The drinks and an appetizer also came quite quickly. After 1.5 hours we asked where the rest were. We were assured that it would be right at the table. The food looked appealing and tasted good too. The waiter apologized and offered us a little compensation. I would describe the atmosphere as rustic and clean. Price is around 28 per person for food and drinks

Great food. Not exactly cheap, but within reason. It was a bit uncomfortable at the first table because of the many guests waiting.

Were there for the first time... although we are in Heiligenhafen for the 3rd year in a row!... Food was great!! We ordered the "Osteria" pizza...it tasted great 👌...especially the garlic aioli base was something different...all the ingredients were fresh and the pizza base was nice and thin and tasty... There is only so much criticism! Tilting table, unsharp knives, and the tables are very close together so that you inevitably have to listen to other guests' conversations 🙉🤣.... We'd love to come back...but then probably at a different time of day....

So, the “Cucina Autentica” from the Osteria Rustica website is definitely to be taken literally. For the first time we were able to get a REAL carbonara! As described on the menu (for the Almans) “without cream sauce - Italian style”. Delicious! And the Pizza Rustica with homemade garlic pesto is also a hit. Delicious!

Unfortunately the service was very bad, after 10 minutes at the table the cards were brought, after another 20 minutes they asked for drinks and 20 minutes later the drinks came. Unfortunately it went on like that the whole evening. During cultivation, all the plants on the windowsill were dead, and by that I mean there were only horse mackerels with 4 shriveled leaves. The windows were also very dirty. And cobwebs decorated the ambience.

A bit hidden between the pier and the Heiligenhafen holiday park, directly behind the dunes. With outdoor tables and cozy indoor dining. In any case, a reservation is necessary here, even in the off-season, otherwise there will be long waiting times. But as compensation there is a meal that you rarely find at an Italian restaurant: pizzas without tomato sauce with garlic pesto or homemade pastas, just the thought makes your mouth water. OK. There are no bargains, but the great taste makes up for it. Totally recommended.

The food is very expensive, especially the bread with garlic (which also consisted of 4 small thin slices that were probably only coated with garlic and that for €6.60) we found too expensive (even if it was baked in-house). But otherwise the prices were justified. The spaghetti with shrimp and lemon was to die for and so was the tiramisu. Really very tasty. Portion of noodles and shrimp also good. €18.90 for pasta with shrimp is also very expensive, but it was really tasty. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford a regular visit, but I would definitely come back to eat here once in a while. Food is really delicious 😋

We had really good memories of the Osteria from previous visits. However, this time it was different. On a busy Saturday, the staff is clearly overwhelmed. Despite a reservation, the table we reserved was not free. We were therefore initially seated at a large table for six people, even though there were only three of us. After 30 minutes we were then moved to a four-person table to free up space for a larger group of people. During our stay we were not asked once if everything was OK and if they could bring us anything else after taking the first order. We felt completely ignored by the apparently stressed out waiter. Hospitality and good service look absolutely different. Our food was good to mediocre: my pizza didn't have the toppings as described on the menu and the lasagna consisted mostly of pasta with very little meat, but another pizza was very good. Overall, I can only recommend the Osteria if it is not too busy and the staff can take time for their guests.

Very good Italian food and friendly service. The atmosphere is unique. During my annual 10 week vacation in Heiligenhafen I eat here every day. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience. Not a pseudo Italian, like a few doors down. Original Italian food, and Nonna sometimes helps out in the kitchen. I have already eaten all the dishes on the menu and everything is delicious here. New is the Italian-style cheesecake, with fresh mascarpone, honeydew melon or other fruits. Simply delicious. Rating relative for the area. Here you can eat well, Sicilian cuisine. Typical Osteria. Authentic, friendly service. Always a digestif on the house. Otherwise you can still eat at Tamatsu in Heiligenhafen, then it will be thinner.

Actually you shouldn't write a review. Because if you stand outside, look at the shack and see a few pizza katons through an open window, you tend to think of a run-of-the-mill stand pizza shack. If you don't want to spoil the surprises, you should stop reading now... .... because inside it seems that a crew from Fixer Upper were filming a holiday episode. Here they have managed to give the whole thing a great ambience. This is certainly due to the fact that it is always very well attended. If you've just tried to devote yourself to the decoration and presentation with your mouth open, the waitress is already there. They are also present in large numbers, which is otherwise rather rare. Serving 10 people at the same time is no problem. The food was delicious and individual - no off-the-shelf Germanized Italian. Board strong! A little more expensive but completely justified. The fact that you (at least we do ;)) have to choose between certain times to eat is annoying and un-relaxing when the next ones are already waiting , but probably can't be prevented and no reason for a point deduction... Gladly again

Small cozy restaurant with a nice ambience. The bruschetta beforehand tasted very good. The noodles were homemade and tasted fantastic. We didn't try the pizzas, but they looked no less delicious. The portions are very large and filling. You definitely have to reserve in advance as every place was full. The waiting time for the food to arrive was absolutely fine, it's not a fast food restaurant! Can recommend it without reservation!

Following a recommendation, we ate at the Osteria last weekend and it was one of my best pizzas so far. What is particularly worth mentioning is that all pizzas are also available gluten-free. My daughter was really happy and this one was also incredibly tasty. We received a very friendly welcome and the atmosphere inside is also very cozy. Please keep it up, we would really like to come back.

We reserved our table by phone three days in advance and it was available at the time we requested. We didn't notice any negative feelings among the other guests either. One of the few restaurants where you can eat delicious gluten-free food without any problems. The best pizza in a long time!!! You can also get pasta dishes gluten-free. My husband can eat anything and was just as excited about the “normal” pizza as I was about my gf pizza. We'll definitely be back! In the high season and on weekends at peak times, it makes sense to reserve.

The staff is always friendly and accommodating and not intrusive. We have been on vacation in Heiligenhafen several times and always pass the restaurant. Inconspicuous from the outside but the ambience inside is convincing. All in all a very nice little restaurant, with very tasty food and reasonable prices. Definitely recommendable.

We have been coming to the 'Osteria Rustica' in Heiligenhafen for three holidays now and are completely thrilled. The service staff is attentive and very friendly, the food comes after a reasonable waiting time and is delicious every time. A plus point from our side: there are gluten-free options. All in all very recommendable.

We were there at Easter. Unfortunately, the start was very bumpy: despite a reservation, we had to wait 50 minutes for the table and that too outside in the rain. The good atmosphere suffered greatly. After we sat down everything was good: it tasted good, friendly service, good atmosphere, fair prices.

Wir waren leider viel zu spät angereist und waren um 21:15 erst da (21:30 machen die zu) und trotzdem durften wir alles (!) bestellen und in Ruhe aufessen - das haben wir so oft woanders anders erlebt. Immer wieder gerne, macht weiter so!

We had a really nice evening at Osteria Rustica. The restaurant is rightly very busy - the service is really attentive, the shop is lovingly decorated and we enjoyed the food excellently! We especially enjoyed the appetizer platter with the buffalo mozzarella. When we asked, we received a fresh garlic dip in addition to the garlic baguette, which was also very tasty. We'd love to come back!

We were there yesterday with the entire team of 18 people. When we reserved and discussed the buffet, we were offered a lot. The table decorations were great and we received a very warm welcome. And then it was time to eat - all of our colleagues have never eaten as well as they did at Osteria Rustica. The price was more than okay for everything. You feel welcome as soon as you make your reservation over the phone and that continues in the restaurant. Nice welcome, great atmosphere (cozy and yet also elegant). The food is very good. We had pasta and gnocchi, but what I saw of pizzas was impressive. We will try the pizza next time we visit. Highly recommended!
