Such a great place, real fresh food and the right aesthetics!

A waiter chased my partner outside the establishment and accused them of not paying. After waiting 15+ minutes at the table, they decided to leave because no one had come to take their order. Sometimes you can order from the QR code and other times a waiter comes to the table or the QR code doesn’t work (like the first and last time we’d visited) The waiter berated them and insisted they pay for the table though they hadn’t ordered a single thing. Paying for a table is unheard of if not absolutely ridiculous. If this were the case, you ought to let people know as you seat them. Similarly, it would be sensible to mention ordering through the QR code as you seat someone. The entire thing is particularly frustrating because the waiter insisted on bringing them back into the restaurant to yell at them in front of other customers. I did not come here to tell anyone how to do their job, but rather to remind them to have some care in the way they treat other human beings. It is absolutely heartbreaking to get sweet/stellar treatment one time and be completely disrespected the next. The food was good, and I brought my partner there cause they like eggs. Even though I’m much pickier about how I like mine prepared, I was happy to see them happy eating a lovely breakfast sandwich. Unfortunately, we will neither be returning nor recommending the spot to anyone. No meal is worth being made to feel like a criminal.

The place is very Instagrammy – I saw ads and also some mentions in blogs. However, it was very disappointing. I tried pumpkin barley risotto-style. It was over-salted with a strong taste of dry veggie cubes. The coffee was also very average. My friend tried bread with halloumi. It was dry and halloumi was a pretty small piece. The content marketing is great. Looks better than it tastes! Keep in mind no bill splits during the weekends.

The Ouef is definitely a highlight at Nettelbeckplatz. Especially because you can sit in front of it in the summer. So far I've only had coffee, matcha and cake - very tasty. Less would not be justifiable given the high prices. Other dishes looked delicious from a distance. (-) When it comes to the ambience... you don't sit comfortably inside and sometimes you're crowded. It also quickly becomes loud - which further detracts from the comfort. The tables should also be wiped more often and the toilets need a makeover...

Really strange: we had reserved a table for brunch for four this afternoon. When we got there the waitress told us that we have to sit outside. Hello? It's November 2nd, 8 degrees Celsius outside, and not even enough blankets available! Without us!

Had super delicious scrambled eggs on farmer's bread with Hollondais sauce. Staff could be a bit friendlier. No hello, no goodbye but nice atmosphere. If you like eggs for breakfast, this is the right place for you.

Reserving a table at Oeuff is so inconvenient and difficult that you're almost ready to give up. ESPECIALLY the cancellation conditions are, in my opinion, unreasonable. In the event of a no-show, €15 per reserved place will be debited from the previously deposited credit card. I can understand that it is annoying for a restaurateur when guests don't show up, but it could be handled differently. How about this: Reserved tables are kept free for 15 minutes and given to other guests in the event of a no-show. A telephone number would also be advantageous when making a reservation in case you are late. What is now common practice in Berlin, but which I always find annoying, is the fact that the waitresses obviously only speak English. About the food: The quality of the food is good although the portions are comparatively small. A puffy side salad is obviously intended to suggest bulk. Unfortunately it wasn't my thing. At comparable prices, other breakfast restaurants serve better quality in slightly larger portions. Especially at the prices asked. What doesn't work at all in my opinion is that you couldn't split the bill. The statement was: At the weekends we don't split the bills sorry (...) Internationality or not...I am aware that abroad you put all the food you eat on one bill and the guests then have to come to an agreement afterwards. However, we are in Germany and here it is still desirable for guests to pay separately. You may find this bourgeois in the Oeuff, but it is extremely pleasant as a guest. If you reduce the Oeuff to just the food, I would say that it wasn't that bad. However, the additional effort involved in reservations, communication and payment significantly reduced the experience of the visit.

It's not always about ambience, everyone has their own personal taste. Here it is rather simple, by sitting outside you get a few rays of sunshine, and sometimes there is live music. Coffee is A1 and so is the cake. Pleasant service. I recommend.

Love the place. This is a great place for introverts, as one can order and pay for the order on the website, no need to talk or queue. Delicious food, welcoming space, beautiful location especially on a sunny day.

The two barista from Australia were so lovely and super sexy! I love going to oeuf, mainly because of the two baristas from Australia. They make the atmosphere so great and if you’re down for a chat the oeuf baristas are the people to talk to! 10/10 for the baristas from Australia.

Great food, homemade hollandaise sauce, chutneys and co. Quality is great and fresh. I always enjoy coming here. The employees are all super nice and accommodating, even when it is very busy and stressful. I always find it very loud inside because there is no sound insulation or anything like that. That's why I mainly go outside when the weather permits.

Staff were super friendly, make u feel right at home! It’s great place to enjoy brunch and coffee in a cozy spot and chill atmosphere. A must to try is the French toast dessert, Highly recommended.

I really gave Oeuf a chance so many times, but in the end it is and remains really overhyped. The egg dishes are good in terms of culinary compositions - but everything is always so dominated by the egg that the other ingredients don't come through at all. Unfortunately, that also applies to the smell inside, it's relatively poorly ventilated, so I always had the feeling that the egg was eating me instead of me eating the egg. The service is always completely overwhelmed by every question that deviates from the standard and does not offer a solution (my cell phone somehow cannot read the QR code for the card and that was several times more dramatic than it should have been). I came a few times during the week in the morning to start my home office day in a relaxed way, but the internet is so terrible that I ended up leaving again. Conclusion: I still like to get an iced coffee every now and then, but that's it.

What a wonderful friendly place to meet friends for brunch. Very convenient location, very welcoming and attentive staff. The French toast will keep me coming back. Soooo good. Bonus- the coffee here is better than many places I tried.

I have no objection. Everything was very tasty and the quality of the ingredients is great; they know what they are doing. Lots of vegan options. I had the scrambled eggs, the banana bread, and the toast.

We had a really fun brunch here. Although we had a couple of moments of trying to catch a waitress, it was completely understandable because it was full most of the time. So just relax and take your time when going there. P.S. Insanely good carrot cake 🤤🥕

Was only ordering 1 coffee here. That was just so absurd... Very very unfriendly staff. Then English is spoken constantly, even though the waitress and the customer speak German. Even if I spoke German, the service continued to speak English. The hello and goodbye are simply looked back in disgust. What's going on here? Guys…. We are in Wedding! And not in Mitte where thousands of tourists walk through the area. It won't work like that... Get people who want to work behind the counter.

Brilliant location. Right outside S+U Wedding which makes it very easy to reach from anywhere in Berlin. Also, right outside is a park with lots of trees and a fountain which makes the outdoor seating especially pleasant. Food was amazing. They have lots of options with different types of eggs. You will be spoiled for choice here. Service was quick and attentive. All in all an absolutely brilliant place for brunch.

The day started at the brunch restaurant Œuf in Wedding, which is run by three Frenchmen and offers an interesting mix of French and American cuisine. The slightly confusing menu included various sandwiches, salads, sweet dishes and bulgur. The sweet croissant with jam was excellent – ​​perfectly baked and typically French. However, the "Croque Monsieur" was disappointing: it had a bland taste, the bread was not crispy and the ham had little flavor. The fried eggs were also just average, and the scrambled eggs seemed like they came straight out of a bag. The salad was Lollo Rosso with an overly acidic vinaigrette and unroasted grains, highlighting the lack of attention to detail. The homemade lemonade and coffee, however, were good. The atmosphere was modern and hip, the staff friendly. A visit is recommended because of the great restaurant itself, even if the food wasn't entirely convincing. By the way, there is the sculpture “Dance on the Volcano” on the square – a nice place to linger.

Friendly staff, delicious croissants and strong cappucino. You sit outside on wooden folding chairs and at the matching tables. The seating is a bit cramped, but still comfortable. I'd love to come back with a bigger appetite and try out the egg dishes 😃 A real enrichment for the wedding!

So I'm extremely disappointed. Hip shop, great ambience (at least inside). No service because you order via QR code, you first have to hang on your cell phone, then you are only allowed to use one phone and then it didn't work and the operation went back and forth 4 times instead of recording it straight away. It's a shame for the waitress, who doesn't make a tip as a result. We had the oeuf morning sandwich, it looked like a burger from the gas station and was far dry. The combinations for the eggs are also plain and that's why I didn't order any of them and chose the cheapest one on the menu. A porched egg with a little hollandaise sauce for €10.50? Really just a rip off

This place is exactly what I was looking for. Loooved the food, I mean look at those fresh herbs, perfekt for a hot summer day, pared with a beautiful dry white wine couldn’t ask for anything more. Instead of something sweet I choose a cocktail for dessert, the stuff was lovely and after all a very fair price! This is what I call a perfect afternoon.

Average restaurant, rather high prices and if you've finished eating and don't want to order anything more (despite eating over €60), you'll be complimented rather unfriendly. Rather moderately recommended.

Sadly very plain food and bad Service, a lot of things got forgotten, warm sparkling wine... The presentation of the food looked like someone was first time cooking... Not to recommend at all

Good food, really unfriendly service, even for Berlin standards. You only get water if you ask and with a bombastic side eye, then you wait 10 minutes for it and you get food thrown at you on the other side of the table with a super annoyed look. Just so they don't spit in your coffee in front of your eyes.

Very cute French inspired brunch spot in one of my favorite squares of wedding. As the name suggests, they offer many egg-based options, ranging from the DIY/build it yourself egg sandwich, to the sweet French toast. Our favorite is the croque monsieur-inspired club sandwich-style dish with homemade béchamel and pickles. Perfectly balanced decadence

Small menu but everything is well done with small details. The setup of the egg dishes where you can mix and match is excellent and the French Toast Cake with White Chocolate really won me over. Cute and local atmosphere with some interesting people watching as well. Absolutely recommend

One of my favourite places to brunch in Berlin. Reasonably priced, cool interior, really tasty food & lovely staff! I really like the sandwiches and the onion jam is a great addition (and a sneaky mimosa doesn’t go a miss)..

Le petit déjeuner est bon, les serveurs sympas, mais c‘est vrai que c‘est un peu chaotique la manière dont tout fonctionne. Les menus sont compliqués à comprendre mais après on est bien content quand on reçoit son plat.

The breakfast at Oeuf is really great. The brioch, the eggs, the coffee are all really good. The French toast with the rhubarb compote is a little dream. I think the prices are reasonable for the quality. You definitely have to reserve in advance. The shop is very busy for breakfast on the weekend. Many people without reservations were turned away. The tables are very close together, which makes the place rather noisy.

Great breakfast bar with French-German cuisine. Dishes expensive. You can sit there both inside and outside, and while the sun shines on you when the weather is good, you can watch the hustle and bustle in the surrounding area. Solid selection of breakfast/brunch dishes - found a vegan option and chose that - very tasty. Addition: The service speaks English. We would go there again :-)

Best fried egg sandwich I've had. IPA onions were nuts and the eggs cooked to perfection. Bread was like eating a cloud. Smoothie was gorgeous too, I'll be back tomorrow!

Das Oeuf war sehr gut besucht, Tische nicht so eng beieinander wie aus Bewertungen herausgelesen. Das Essen & Trinken der übersichtlichen Speisekarte fanden wir qualitativ und geschmacklich sehr gut! Uns hat es sehr gefallen!

This morning we decided to go to Oeuf for breakfast and it was a really good way to start our Saturday. The place has seating both inside and outside. It was quite crowded, so we had to wait a while for a table and a meal (which is, in my opinion, the norm in Berlin during breakfast time, especially on weekends), but what we got was worth the wait. We ordered one brioche with scrambled eggs and sourdough with poached eggs. Both were very tasty, and the eggs in both forms tasted very good. Additionally, we ordered a croque-chêvrou sandwich. In one word, it was delicious. In my opinion, the place is worth recommending, with an interesting atmosphere, friendly staff, and affordable prices.

Really good food! But a bit loud

Hatten zum Frühstück für vier Personen reserviert und bekamen einen winzigen Tisch zugewiesen, an dem es schon für drei zu eng gewesen wäre. Ratlosigkeit bei der Bedienung, die auf unser geäußertes Missfallen erwiderte, der Chef wolle das so. Als der Nachbartisch frei wurde, entspannte sich die Lage. Man sitzt auf derart kleinen Stühlen, dass einen das Erscheinen der sieben Zwerge nicht überraschen würde. Sehr lange Wartezeiten auf Getränke und Speisen. Es ist laut und sehr eng. Die Bedienung steht immer wieder mit vollen Händen vor der nach innen (!) öffnenden Tür zur Terrasse und weiß nicht, wie sie hinauskommen soll. Bin zweimal aufgestanden, um ihr die Tür zu öffnen. Qualität der Speisen allenfalls Mittelmaß. Café sehr gut. 100 Euro für vier Personen, ohne dass wir es krachen lassen hätten. Preis-Leistung unbedingt verbesserungsfähig, insbesondere Leistung.

Worst brunch place I've ever visited in Berlin. The service made us wait a long time between drinks, the country bread looked like a large rusk and had nothing to do with either sourdough or gray bread. At the end we were told with a smile that we couldn't pay separately and that we would only get the bill after payment. I absolutely do not recommend the store.

Das Essen war gut allerdings war die Bedienung etwas pushy auch als es um das Trinkgeld ging. Auch dass man den Tisch nur für 1.5h hat, finde ich mehr als unentspannt

Schlechtester Brunchladen, den ich je in Berlin besucht habe. Der Service hat uns zwischen den Getränken sehr lange warten lassen, das Landbrot sah aus wie ein großer Zwieback und hatte weder mit Sauerteig, noch mit Graubrot etwas zu tun. Am Ende verkündete man uns mit einem Lächeln, dass wir nicht getrennt zahlen könnten, die Rechnung bekämen wir auch erst nach der Zahlung. Den Laden empfehle ich absolut nicht weiter.

We had breakfast at Oeuf, the food was really fantastic. The breakfast did, but then the carrot cake afterwards was simply fantastic! You definitely have to make a reservation, at least if you want to go here on the weekend. It was super full and some people were turned away because they hadn't made a reservation. The chairs aren't super comfortable and we sat very tightly squeezed at another table. Only English is spoken here, at least when we were there. You should know that beforehand. So: The food is great, it's quite noisy and cramped and you can't just come here spontaneously because the risk of being turned away is quite high. That's why I give it 4 stars.

We took Croques, which were delicious, but would have been perfect with a little green salad or some vegetables to complete the meal. One small point: it's impossible to split payment when you're in a group. Overall, excellent quality-price ratio and good atmosphere.

I can definitely recommend it, if you are more then three, make a reservation.

Winter in Berlin can be pretty cold and quiet, but this place is where you visit to check out how Berlin summer vibes must feel like. Delicious food, the staff is friendly and if you go on a weekend, you can find a bunch of happy, colorful chatty people that lift your vibes up.

One of the safest spots to have great brunch with a cocktail! Have been here many times and still enjoying it. You can assemble your eggs as the name suggests, with a variety of toppings and breads, or go for sweet breakfast options. Everything is tasty and cooked well, it's a gem for this area.

Coffee was great but kitchen closes 3 hours before closing time…

Service: The waitress was rude, we tried several times to get her attention to ask a question and she just snapped at us “Use the QR code” (this was not our question), when the last TWO times we were there this same girl told us NOT to use the QR code. So that was upsetting and unnecessary. Please get this sorted. Food: Honestly the ONLY reason we go to this cafe, it’s amazing and continues to be. It’s pricey. We had breakfast for two, one drink each, one dish each and a dessert and paid 45€. Other: We tried to make a reservation and were told that 2 people wasn’t enough to make a reservation and yet when we arrived there was a table reserved which was then sat by 2 people alone. So that was odd. There was a table of two who were being very strange, putting their boots up on the chairs etc. It was QUITE uncomfortable and unhygienic and the staff said nothing to them. Overall: I’ll probably not be returning anymore honestly. The food is good but at the price point it’s a bit ridiculous that I’m being snapped at by the staff and have people next to me putting their wet boots up on the chairs and taking naps with their feet on the wall.

Es ist sehr klein, der Tisch für 4 war eher für3, und es war sehr laut. Auf die Bestellung mussten wir lange warten.

Phantastische Egg Benedict mit selbstgemachter Sauce Hollandaise. Ein echter Glücksgriff. Platztechnisch holt die Location aus jedem Quadratmeter alles raus, aber okay. Wir erschienen zum Essen und für eine nette Zeit, nicht um 1:1 am Gespräch der Nachbartische teilzuhaben.

Das Essen ist toll, die ganze Location ist ein bißchen anders, sehr hell, die Sonne scheint direkt rein , zumindest an einem sonnigen Sonntag morgen 😀 Sonntags, ab 10:30 ist der Laden voll! Was ich sehr gut verstehen kann. Der Kaffee war super! Wenn man sich ein Sandwich zusammenbaut, oder wenn man sich ein fertiges bestellt, dann kann man das alles auch mit Trüffel veredeln! Das Oeuf befindet sich im Erdgeschoss , allerdings nicht im EG eines Altbaus, sondern vielmehr in einem etwas "moderneren" Stahl-Glas-Bauwerk, was auch schon etwas runtergekommen ist. Ein super Café / Bistro !

Gibt halt kaum vegane Optionen, was ja okay ist bei nem Ei-Restaurant, aber dann waren die Portionen sehr sehr klein (für den Preis). War lecker aber jetzt auch nicht umwerfend.

Il cibo è molto buono, cappuccino e caffè migliore di quelli che fanno nella maggior parte degli incredibilmente sopravvalutati bar italiani, per non parlare dei croissant e del pain au chocolat (buonissimo). Non ho provato la colazione salata, quindi su questo mi astengo. Il servizio è un po' lento, una volta si sono anche scordati di segnare il nostro ordine, tuttavia sono molto corretti e gentili e in caso di errori di questo tipo ti fanno un piccolo sconto.

Außergewöhnlich tolles Essen, aber Café viel zu voll gestopft. Wir hatten für 4 reserviert und "glücklicher Weise" war ein Teilnehmer krank, denn der für uns reservierte Platz war nur für 3 Leute. Beim besten Willen wäre eine vierte Person unmöglich gewesen. Das es eng und laut war - ok muss man mit leben in Berlin, aber so dreist am Platz zu sparen und Reservierungen rausgeben die nicht möglich sind, ist etwas unhöflich, tolles Essen hin oder her. Außerdem stimmen die Zeitangaben nicht, man bucht mit der Info 2h wäre die Aufenthaltszeit, vor Ort bekommt man dann gesagt es wären nur 1,5 möglich und das sei ein Fehler bei Opentable. Bitte beheben Sie doch sowas, sie wünschen sich Gäste mit klaren Reservierungen, Gäste wünschen sich, dass Reservierungen in Platz und Zeit genau so stattfinden wie es bestätigt wird. Falls Sie im Sommer den Außenbereich nutzen, würde ich sogar nochmal hingehen.
