Charlot Brunch & Bowls in Berlin

Mir hat es hier richtig gut gefallen! Wir kamen vom Mauermarkt, wo es viel Fast Food gibt. Hier kann man gesundes, frisches Essen bestellen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und der Laden ist sauber. Wir mussten überhaupt nicht lange warten. Ich verstehe manche Bewertungen wirklich nicht.

Wir waren dort und haben von Anfang an gesagt dass wir Neo taste benutzen und gefragt ob das passt und die Besitzer meinten ja. Als wir bezahlen wollte haben sie ihre Meinung geändert und wir mussten den vollen Preis zahlen!!!! Wirklich nur lächerlicher Laden, würde dort trotz des guten Essens nicht nochmal hin. Unverschämt einen so fehlzuführen und dadurch extra Geld zu machen!!!!

Es hat ziemlich lange gedauert, Portion war relativ klein. Wir hatten englisches Frühstück. In der Sonne ist jedoch schön.

Leckeres Shakshuka, wie in Tunesien😁

Geht bloß nicht hin! Die Eier waren geschmacklos und das Geld nicht wert. Beim Bezahlen wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass nur Barzahlung möglich ist, obwohl Schilder für Visa und Apple Pay an der Tür hingen. Der Kellner war unfreundlich.

Seit Sommer 2025 ein neuer Besitzer. Sehr nettes Frühstückslokal mit super freundlichem Service. Nicht zu laut, so dass man sich auch unterhalten kann. Familiäre Atmosphäre, an den Wänden hängen von Kunden mitgebrachte Bilder. Nichts überdrehtes, sondern klassische Frühstücke aus verschiedenen Regionen von klassisch Englisch bis Shakshukka. Ich hatte das Lachsfrühstück und bin sehr happy.

Unser frühstück war leider nur so oke, der war gut, leider war unser Ei kalt und die Brötchen vom Vortag.

Ich verstehe die Beschwerden nicht, der Laden ist schön, definitiv nicht heruntergekommen, der Service ist gut, das Essen kommt in 10 Minuten und ist köstlich. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ich hatte das vegane Frühstück, das leider nicht frisch war. Der abgepackte, kalte Tofu und die getrockneten Tomaten schmeckten seltsam. Auch das Brot war altbacken. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die leckeren Grillgemüse, die offenbar frisch zubereitet wurden. Obwohl Marmelade auf der Karte stand, fehlte sie. Die Atmosphäre war etwas seltsam, da keine Musik lief. Man merkte, dass das Essen leider nicht mit Liebe zubereitet wurde. Die Toiletten waren heruntergekommen und schmutzig. Ich würde nicht wiederkommen.

Ein sehr schönes Mittagessen, alles war perfekt zubereitet und aufeinander abgestimmt.

The breakfast tastes great and the service is great. It's a good choice to sit outside in the sunshine on a leisurely holiday and enjoy a delicious breakfast.

I love Cafe Charlot – when the sun is shining, there are sunny spots both in the morning and afternoon. The coffee is inexpensive for Prenzlauerberg standards and delicious. Everything I've tried so far has been absolutely delicious! The shakshuka, the sandwiches, the muesli, everything 🤤 and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended 👌🏼

A truly successful brunch experience! We highly recommend both the classic salmon breakfast and the vegetarian shakshouka. We particularly like the shakshouka: it was authentically seasoned, just like in Tunisia. Everything was fresh and delicious. We'd be happy to go back!

Unfortunately, it was a real disappointment... we waited about an hour for our food. Everything was practically swimming in oil; the tomatoes and cucumbers were from the day before. The fruit wasn't fresh either. The bread included in the €15 breakfast was four soggy slices of white toast. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat many of the items because they were swimming in grease and looked inedible. We had stomach aches afterward. They offered a small concession of €5 off, but that was it... definitely not recommended!

Definitely recommended.. I felt like sitting on the beach.. Matcha was delicious, Shakshouka was yummy. And very friendly staff

We were there on a busy day, and the waiter said it would take a while for the meal for two people. The meal took an hour, and both waiters were completely overwhelmed and not particularly accommodating...

Delicious shakshuka, incredibly prepared sandwiches, and warm rolls for breakfast. Highly recommended. Absolutely perfect for brunch and lunch.

Really cute brunch spot in Prenzlauer Berg.food is so delicious. Staff is friendly, though it can get a bit crowded on weekends. Overall, a solid place to chill and grab a nice breakfast or brunch.

Unfortunately, the food and breakfast were a flop. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it as it was far too expensive, and the French breakfast was a disgrace. Just one croissant, a small piece of butter, and a bit of jam, and the €12 orange juice was way too bitter. Sadly, I didn't love the service or the food.

Unfortunately, the breakfast and my hot cocoa were tasteless and boring. Sat outside in the sun. The service is nice and relatively quick. However, the price of the food is not reasonable.

Waited 1 hour for food. When it came I was brought the wrong food twice. Then I was told the avocado was empty and I should order something new and then I paid €12 for scrambled eggs with a 90 cent baked roll. The scrambled eggs didn't taste like anything :)

Just another place which tries the "rustic" aesthetic of the area, but eventually it looks run down and cheap. The food was expensive, but no more so than everything else around, the service slow, the coffee bad and the breakfast really really bad. The eggs were not done properly, the beans were extremely sweet, the toasted bread was cold and tasted lime a shoe and the salad was miserable.

The avocado was missing from the salmon & avocado breakfast. There were rolls from the previous guest with pieces of egg and sauce on them. Absolute no-go! Cream cheese tasted musty. We left hungry.

The four of us spontaneously went for brunch and we all enjoyed it very much :) the service was very friendly and accommodating ☺️☺️

We waited an hour for our breakfast. Something that was on the menu was missing from several plates. There was only 1 roll per person. The milk cans are dirty. The pineapple from the can. There were only 2 olives per person in a bowl. It's a poor price-performance ratio. All 4 of us go out hungry.

Attention, change of ownership! No more cooperation with NeoTaste! The menu shown (as of February 27, 2025) is no longer correct. This has been completely revised. There are many egg dishes, English or American breakfasts! Vegan breakfast: It was okay, but not great! Service very warm, friendly and open to feedback and suggestions for improvement.

Waited 45 minutes for a warm (cold) sandwich and a vegan breakfast plate with cold tofu and something that looked suspiciously like butter. Not all of the things we ordered were on the plate. 36€ for nothing and terrible service. Absolutely no recommendation.

Be aware that the restaurant changed ownership recently, so most pictures on google are from the old owners. The new menu doesn’t compare…We ordered some savory options from the menu, but the food wasn’t good quality and didn’t taste fresh. I would not recommend it. And for what you get, it is definitely quite expensive. The service was friendly but everything seemed a bit chaotic. Overall I think it’s okay if you need a quick standard coffee, but I would not get something the eat there.

A little gem to reopen. I was immediately excited about the reopening of Café Charlot! The cozy atmosphere invites you to linger, and the newly designed facility is modern and lovingly decorated. The cappuccino was perfect and the freshly baked croissant was simply delicious. My enthusiasm was further enhanced by the friendly team, which made you feel completely at home. A great place for a break – highly recommended!

I recently visited the Café and was thoroughly impressed. Located in the heart of Berlin near the Mauerpark, it offers a great breakfast (we ordered the Seaside Morning) that caters to both sweet and savory preferences. This Café is a must-visit destination. 

Class! Was there for the first time today, didn't know the restaurant/cafe before and was extremely positively surprised. Everything is very clean and chicly decorated.

The service is exceptionally friendly and attentive, the quality of the food is simply top, and the atmosphere invites you to feel good. We happened to be in the café when it reopened and it was absolutely worth it. A very nice and cozy café with everything your heart desires. Very nicely prepared food with attention to detail. The interior design has also changed to be much brighter, friendlier and invites you to linger. The café was full and yet the food arrived quickly, warm and tasty. The new staff is also super friendly and committed. Fully deserved 5 stars. Thank you very much, we will be back!

An absolute highlight! This restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The food was to die for - every dish was fresh, perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The selection of drinks was also excellent. Charlot Brunch & Bowls in Berlin is definitely an insider tip for all brunch lovers! The store has a wonderful, cozy atmosphere that immediately invites you to linger. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel right at home. The menu offers a great selection of healthy and delicious bowls as well as creative brunch options. I was particularly impressed by the variety of ingredients, which are all fresh and high quality. The bowls are not only delicious in terms of taste, but also perfect for Instagram! ;) I had the avocado bowl and absolutely loved it - fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned and simply delicious. The coffee is also excellent, which is of course a must for a good brunch place. All in all, a perfect place for a relaxed start to the day. I'll definitely be back!

Great staff, location and reasonable price!

I had their goat cheese and walnuts croissant sandwich and mozzarella, pesto and pomegranate brioche sandwich and they were both absolutely amazing! 10/10 would visit again.

The food was decent but nothing out of this world. However the bathroom was something special and I mean that in the worst way possible. It was so dirty it put me off the entire experience. When you really look, I realised that the whole place felt grimy. We ate our sandwich and left

Unfortunately, the food is really not tasty and doesn't seem to have been freshly prepared in parts. A coffee smelled and tasted like burnt plastic. It's worth the wait at other, better, brunch places.

Run and don't look back, neither the coffee, nor the frozen croissant nor the cold food can be saved after 1 hour and a half of waiting, plus they made a mistake with the coffee and didn't want to change it.

If you wanna wait more than 40 mins for a bowl or even for a slice of bread, go ahead.

The place is in a nice location but very run down. There is even pigeon shit on the dirty cushions, the food took over 30 minutes to come out and then the vegetables seemed all a bit old. Coffee was ok (although latte art did not work out lol) Staff was nice, tho! But all the good reviews just come from people getting a free cake if they write a good review 😅

I ordered a croissant and a tea. The tea was served after 20 minutes of waiting and the croissant after 50. Even tho the food was nice, service is very slow.

Charlot Brunch is a must visit. The brunch menu, acai, croissant, breakfast mix, the coffee, juices, everything has been amazing and so tasty! The environment is very calm and relaxing, this street is one of my favourite in Berlin. The staff are very kind, even taking our order at the table when it’s self-order. It’s our second time here and we were not disappointed! It will definitely not be our last.

Tea and coffee are not good, and the food mediocre at best.
