Be aware that the restaurant changed ownership recently, so most pictures on google are from the old owners. The new menu doesn’t compare…We ordered some savory options from the menu, but the food wasn’t good quality and didn’t taste fresh. I would not recommend it. And for what you get, it is definitely quite expensive. The service was friendly but everything seemed a bit chaotic. Overall I think it’s okay if you need a quick standard coffee, but I would not get something the eat there.

Very cozy, small breakfast restaurant. Super friendly, super tasty, super professional and attentive. Unfortunately only 5 stars are possible. ;-)

Waited 45 minutes for a warm (cold) sandwich and a vegan breakfast plate with cold tofu and something that looked suspiciously like butter. Not all of the things we ordered were on the plate. 36€ for nothing and terrible service. Absolutely no recommendation.

A little gem to reopen. I was immediately excited about the reopening of Café Charlot! The cozy atmosphere invites you to linger, and the newly designed facility is modern and lovingly decorated. The cappuccino was perfect and the freshly baked croissant was simply delicious. My enthusiasm was further enhanced by the friendly team, which made you feel completely at home. A great place for a break – highly recommended!

This Café is a must-visit destination.

The service is exceptionally friendly and attentive, the quality of the food is simply top, and the atmosphere invites you to feel good. We happened to be in the café when it reopened and it was absolutely worth it. A very nice and cozy café with everything your heart desires. Very nicely prepared food with attention to detail. The interior design has also changed to be much brighter, friendlier and invites you to linger. The café was full and yet the food arrived quickly, warm and tasty. The new staff is also super friendly and committed. Fully deserved 5 stars. Thank you very much, we will be back!

An absolute highlight! This restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The food was to die for - every dish was fresh, perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The selection of drinks was also excellent. Charlot Brunch & Bowls in Berlin is definitely an insider tip for all brunch lovers! The store has a wonderful, cozy atmosphere that immediately invites you to linger. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel right at home. The menu offers a great selection of healthy and delicious bowls as well as creative brunch options. I was particularly impressed by the variety of ingredients, which are all fresh and high quality. The bowls are not only delicious in terms of taste, but also perfect for Instagram! ;) I had the avocado bowl and absolutely loved it - fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned and simply delicious. The coffee is also excellent, which is of course a must for a good brunch place. All in all, a perfect place for a relaxed start to the day. I'll definitely be back!

Good is delicious. They offer a set of interesting combinations of brunch and breakfast menus. I had a delicious bowl. Nice people working here.

I had their goat cheese and walnuts croissant sandwich and mozzarella, pesto and pomegranate brioche sandwich and they were both absolutely amazing! 10/10 would visit again.

The food was decent but nothing out of this world. However the bathroom was something special and I mean that in the worst way possible. It was so dirty it put me off the entire experience. When you really look, I realised that the whole place felt grimy. We ate our sandwich and left

Unfortunately, the food is really not tasty and doesn't seem to have been freshly prepared in parts. A coffee smelled and tasted like burnt plastic. It's worth the wait at other, better, brunch places.

If you wanna wait more than 40 mins for a bowl or even for a slice of bread, go ahead.

Run and don't look back, neither the coffee, nor the frozen croissant nor the cold food can be saved after 1 hour and a half of waiting, plus they made a mistake with the coffee and didn't want to change it.

The place is in a nice location but very run down. There is even pigeon shit on the dirty cushions, the food took over 30 minutes to come out and then the vegetables seemed all a bit old. Coffee was ok (although latte art did not work out lol) Staff was nice, tho! But all the good reviews just come from people getting a free cake if they write a good review 😅

I ordered a croissant and a tea. The tea was served after 20 minutes of waiting and the croissant after 50. Even tho the food was nice, service is very slow.

Charlot Brunch is a must visit. The brunch menu, acai, croissant, breakfast mix, the coffee, juices, everything has been amazing and so tasty! The environment is very calm and relaxing, this street is one of my favourite in Berlin. The staff are very kind, even taking our order at the table when it’s self-order. It’s our second time here and we were not disappointed! It will definitely not be our last.

Scruffy. Unpleasant. Bad service. Lukewarm "cold" drinks served in plastic cups, even when sitting in a cafe. To save on dishes? Or to force the climate crisis? The toilet that has been mentioned here many times is really disgusting. How can such a situation last for weeks and months and not be resolved? It's hard to believe for a café in a prime location in Prenzlauer Berg. I will never enter this store again.

Absolutely a no go! We could not pay with a card, didn't get a receipt, the toilet wasn't working and we waited for an hour for the food, before deciding to leave. What a joke

We came here to sit outside in the sun and have brunch, like many other people. The menu looked really good too. Unfortunately the quality of the food was a big negative surprise, especially when you think about the generally high quality of food in Berlin. The bread seemed to be just some supermarket, prepackaged slices and so was the cheese. The granola on our bowl seemed to just be some ordinary supermarket granola and the açaí bowl was really liquid. On top the toilet was awful. The staff was really trying hard to keep everything running but there was clearly a lot of chaos and confusion. What a pity. For the price I would really expect to be served high quality products. Maybe the croissants were a little better than our breakfast plate.

except for the good location, nothing special, supermarket ingredients put together, but it's cheap enough to live with the quality babyccino has chocolates hidden at the bottom of the cup, they should declare that on the menu allergens or any declaration is a general issue here, none of the sauces is labeled even if most of them are not vegan and being put on vegan food the staffs are all very friendly but pretty inefficient

Waited 35 minutes for a croissant, which subsequently caused stomach pain and poor digestion. I pray that the hygene fer kitchen far exceeds that of the corner toilet. I wouldn't come again. coffee and iced matcha were good.
