No Fire No Glory in Berlin

Sehr leckeres Frühstück und nicht so 08/15 Kram. Der Service war sehr nett, sympathisch und Aufmerksam. Die Lage des Cafés ist sehr schön und es ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Ich empfehle das Café wirklich jedem weiter und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch dort.

13.5€ für eine ungeniessbare Scheibe Brot mit Pilzen drauf ewww. Essen - schlecht und überteuert. Wartezeit - lang. Kaffee - ok, nicht den Preis wert. 2 Sterne weil man in der Sonne sitzt, ansonsten 1 Stern

Dieses Restaurant hat absolut nichts Gutes zu bieten! Wir saßen drinnen, da es draußen noch kalt war: sehr steril, überhaupt nicht gemütlich. Der Flat White war lauwarm, schmeckte nicht und hatte auch keinen Schaum. Wir bestellten Pulled Beef Benedict, auf dessen Karte „pochierte Eier“ ​​standen, also erwarteten wir mindestens zwei Eier. Aber nein: nur eins! Ein winziges Ei auf trockenem, kaltem Pulled Beef! Die Portionen waren wirklich lächerlich klein… Na ja, dann dachte ich, ich nehme einfach eine leckere Waffel als Dessert, die draußen auf einem Schild angepriesen wurde. Auf Nachfrage hieß es: Fehlanzeige! Heute nicht verfügbar! Auf die Frage nach dem Grund: „Tja, ich habe einfach vergessen, das Schild reinzuhängen!“ Und obendrein noch überteuert! Gehen Sie bloß nicht hin, suchen Sie sich lieber etwas anderes…

Ich kann mich dem anderen Rezensenten nur anschließen, der sagte: „Kein Feuer, kein Ruhm, kein Service.“ Dreißig Minuten Wartezeit für mittelmäßiges Essen, während drei Kellner hinter der Theke so langsam wie möglich arbeiteten und an einem Cocktail nippten. Der Laden war praktisch leer, und überall standen noch die Becher längst gegangener Gäste herum, die niemand abgeräumt hatte. Am besten meiden!

Wir entschieden uns für dieses Lokal zum Brunch am Valentinstag, nachdem im zweiten, das wir ausprobieren wollten, kein Tisch mehr frei war. Wir warteten etwa 20 Minuten auf unser Essen; der French Toast war ungenießbar, weil er so trocken war. Der Service war schlecht, die pochierten Eier waren okay, aber nichts Besonderes. Am Ende mussten wir noch einmal fünf Minuten im Stehen warten, um zu bezahlen. Für 32 € ist das nicht gerechtfertigt und steht in keinem Verhältnis zur Qualität des Essens und des Services.

Wir mussten sehr lange auf unser Essen warten. Die Poached Egg Bowl war ziemlich klein aber in Ordnung. Das French Toast war eine Enttäuschung, viel zu trocken und hat meiner Meinung nach nicht viel mit einem French Toast zu tun. Wir waren nur hier da bei 44Brekkie eine Schlange war und wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder.

Leckeres Essen, großzügige Portionen und sehr freundliches Personal! Sehr zu empfehlen für ein angenehmes und entspanntes Erlebnis.

Das pochierte Ei war fest, die halbe Avocado wurde einfach ungeschnitten aufs Brot gelegt. Einzelzutaten schmeckten, das Produkt aber nicht. Edit: Es wurde ein Anwalt vom Cafe eingeschaltet, um meine Rezension herunternehmen zu lassen. Find ich schon sehr witzig, wenn man so wenig mit Kritik umgehen kann.

Ein guter Brunch Spot mit ausgefallenen Kreationen. Für einen besonderen Anlass eine gute Anlaufstelle! Der Service war sehr sehr gut!

Had a delicious late brunch, had the mini pancakes with espresso maple syrup and the mini Roastbeef sandwich, delicious! & great vibes.

The food was unfortunately disappointing and not at all special. While it looked colorful and appealing, the taste left much to be desired. The service was indifferent, and the tables weren't clean, which further worsened the overall impression.

Unfortunately, we can't understand why the coffee is supposed to be so great; it was quite weak and lacked any flavor. The staff, however, were very friendly and attentive, so there's nothing to complain about there. The house-cured salmon was a complete disappointment, simply sour and tasteless. The combinations of dishes weren't particularly impressive, and the value for money needs improvement.

There was really nothing "special" about it.

Even they are working till 17:00, they are turning off the coffee machine at 16:00. They just don’t want to work. If you don’t want to work, just close your business.

So we arrived at 11h with a reservation. It took over 10 minutes to get the menu. Then, we managed to order because the table next to us became impatient and went to ask for someone to take orders. Then we ordered and waited over 40 minutes to get our food. I had to stand up and ask for the food. Firstly the wrong order came, then we waited a bit longer for the right one. The pancakes were cold, soggy… I barely touched my plate and they didn’t even asked what went wrong so I guess they knew it’s not going that great. Was quite a frustrating experience overall. Also would be great to be able to close the toilets room door properly, so that the close tables to hear the constant flush. I tried to close it a few times but it wasn’t working. It’s indeed not “fire” and not a glorious place

Wonderful café. I always feel very comfortable here. The coffee with Demeter organic milk is especially delicious. And the service is extremely attentive and friendly.

I received a friendly welcome and, despite the crowd, was served quickly. The coffee looked really good and tasted even better! The food was also exceptional. The flavors were impressive in every way, and the visuals couldn't be better. In terms of taste and ambiance, it's truly incomparable to any other (brunch) cafe in the area. I actually love this café, especially because they serve really delicious coffee. You can sit outside or inside, and enjoy a long, lovely brunch on the weekends. We've been there a few times, and the food has always been delicious, and the service was friendly. Unfortunately, it's gone downhill quite a bit, and removing the salmon and caviar from the menu and replacing them completely isn't so cool. The new dish wasn't very tasty, and the rice fritter was completely dry, although the salmon and caviar was among the best I've ever had in Berlin. Furthermore, the service was unfortunately very inattentive.

Ordered French toast and got an aspartam cake with faux pistaschiocreme on top and a cappuccino without foam.

Fine brunch place, service was slow and the table we got was not good, next to a speaker and several tiles in the floor were broken, which made the chairs wobble. Food was tasty, but was served a bit cold. We got the coffee way too early, which we had finished by the time the food arrived. French toast was over caramelised, which made it too sweet.

It's a lovely place to sit outside, shaded by a handsome tree. However, I've rarely seen such small cappuccino and flat white cups! The latter (glasses) are about twice as small as usual. And that's at a price that seems quite high, even for Prenzlauer Berg (espresso 3.20, other drinks at the same price). It's a bit excessive and unnecessary.

Went to this place twice. It was busy, but not enough to justify: •Them refusing to prepare a V60; •Insistently asking if you’d like to grab your coffee to go; •Serving lousy food if you dare to eat in. The one star goes to the carrot cake. So if you’re in, ask for a table, order a carrot cake and a fresh pour-over coffee, and really take your time to enjoy them.

Misleading menu online. They still have their previous menu from years ago which is not available anymore. Expected affordable sandwiches and got expensive fancy food. It was good but not what we were aiming for.

No Fire No Glory No Service: the WORST I have experienced in Berlin, as other recent reviews also state. Teenage waiters who preferred to film coffee pour-overs behind the counter for Instagram content, rather than serving multiple customers going up to order — before eventually telling them they should wait at their table for their order. We waited 10 minutes to be served, 27 minutes for a very mediocre flat white and cold espresso, and about an extra 20 minutes for food - the pancakes which, apparently, took so long because they had to be “cooked well enough to be fluffed up.” Poached eggs were overdone, pancakes were overly starchy, and menu is pretty underwhelming - so certainly not worth the wait. Multiple tables waiting for food, no sense of urgency to actually provide a service to customers, and staff roaming around with no idea of what table ordered what. Other tables served food and coffee before us, despite ordering after we did. And this was on a FRIDAY at 2pm, so hardly the Sunday brunch rush… Don’t let the ‘cool’ hype fool you; go somewhere else. There are MUCH better places in the neighbourhood without the hipster price tag.

Would avoid and try other places. TLDR: extremely slow service for very mid food. We waited 40 minutes for our order to be taken and a further 30 for food to come. Wasn’t overly busy, looked busy but because service was slow, on hindsight, it was just all people waiting for their foots rather than high turnover. If they tell you they are slow because there only one person on, it’s a regular occurrence apparently looking at the reviews. Food was super mid. And small. Can try but I would try other places. Plenty around.

We had the bomb (pancakes, eggs and bacon). I dont like coffee so my maple ess regular and not “coffee infused”. The pink peppercorns were a nice surprise. My husband said the capuccino was one of the best he had in Berlin.

Service was super slow, it took around ~10 minutes just to take our order, where the condition was quite empty and another ~35 minutes just for the drinks (we ordered coffee frappe and cappuccino) to be served and had to wait for additional ~15 minutes for the food (we ordered beef pulled benedict and french toast) to be served, we had to ask literally for it, which in total we waited almost an hour for the food, and what made it worse was, the other person who just had ordered, their food came first than ours. The food was just okay, nothing special, for me personally, there's nothing that will make me come back, at least until they fix their service time, couldn't imagine if it was a busy hour. There are other options in the same neighborhood.

The food was very tasty, we loved our poached egg bowls. The staff were friendly-ish, but uninterested ("too-busy-to-talk-to-you") and slow.

Super delicious food for a good price!

My recent visit to No Fire No Glory was unfortunately marred by exceptionally poor service, even by Berlin standards. We waited approximately ten minutes for drink orders, followed by another twenty minutes with no food order taken nor acknowledged. What truly added the our frustration was observing customers who arrived after us not only place their orders, but also receive their food before we even had a chance to order. We then decided to leave and literally go next door. Within 15 minutes of the place next door (44 Brekkie at the time of this review) we were seated, took our order, and served food. While the coffee was decent at No Fire No Glory, it hardly stands out in Berlin's competitive scene (44 Brekkie which doesn’t even specialize in coffee was on par with this spot). Ultimately, without the opportunity to order, the culinary merits remain unknown. Until service significantly improves, I'd suggest exploring other dining options in Berlin.

Very tasty food in a beautiful place:) The service is incredibly nice and accommodating. The only drawback is that you can only pay in CASH. I just find it disproportionate to only be able to pay in cash given the prices.

Leckerer Brunch und leckerer Filterkaffee! Wir hatten einen Ethiopia Natural als Batch Brew. Wir waren mit einem 2 Monate alten Baby da. Es war möglich, den Kinderwagen reinzustellen und einen angenehm ruhigen Sitzplatz auf einer Eckbank zu bekommen. Danke!

The food is okay, but the coffee is a bit inferior. When I used to drink it, there were a lot of guest coffee beans. The last time I drank it, I felt that the hand brew was very weak, and the Italian style was not as amazing as before.

All of the dishes were available in a small version so that you could order more and try what we made 😄 and everything actually tasted great. There are actually the usual brunch classics but always with a special twist. I would definitely go again! Service was also great

We booked a reservation three weeks in advance for a birthday celebration, noting the occasion. Despite this, we were given the worst table—four squeezed onto a sofa, the rest on tiny stools at the edge of a platform where a fall seemed likely. The service was appalling; we were ignored and, after not even two hours, asked to leave because the table was double-booked. The vegan food was poor, the rest mediocre, and everything was overpriced.
