Great food and super kind and pro service - thank you - we felt very welcome and at ease!

The portions are very big and food is delicious. I don't know what is going on between the management and the workers but they seem scared of the boss. Weird, weird. Hope they are treated good.

I always enjoy going to Belle Alliance, the food is always fantastic and the coffee is delicious. The employees are very attentive and friendly. Of course it's not cheap, but it's worth it for the quality of the food. Sometimes a bit hectic at the weekend, especially if you get a table in the middle.

The prices are exorbitantly high and the quality and size of the portions offered are simply not right. We'll go back for breakfast anytime in the future. They were just closed today and that's why we were here..

Really nice brunch place. We had the shakshuka, the eggs Benedict and the humus and they were all great. The service was really good, we were celebrating my friend’s birthday and without asking they sent us a nice cake to sing happy birthday with!!! Such a lovely thought!

Food is really great. However, service leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately very unfriendly and inefficient. When I wanted to pay I was asked if I wanted to give a tip. Sorry for what? Food is expensive enough and I don't tip for the service. Especially not if you boldly ask me about it with an annoyed undertone. Otherwise I would have liked to leave a few coins there :)

Coffee was great, cake was great, the deluxe club sandwich on the other hand was an overpriced abomination. Nice vibes, just dont eat there.

Had one of the worst experiences in Berlin so far! We ordered food at 11 am,and then, around 11:50, we asked our waiter about our order, but they messed it up and didn’t place it! Had to wait additional 20 min, so overall we waited for 1,5 hours to get our food. Horrible, will definitely not coming back!

5€ for a flat white is a gross price. It’s actually offensive. You’d think a place with this on the walls would have fair prices… just another rip off cafe.

Received card after 15 minutes. Waited 20 minutes until we were allowed to order then waited 20 minutes for the food. Then we waited another 30 minutes because we actually ordered pancakes but they never came. When we asked, they said there was a lot going on in the kitchen and we didn't feel like waiting anymore, so we paid and it turned out that the pancakes were never included. There are far too many places on offer here for too few staff.

Food is terrible, i ordered bacon eggs, bread and bacon were literally rusk. I'm shocked how the plate wasn't scratched after it. It cost 17 euros and not so bad in taste, but can't imagine how long should you fry bacon to get this. Additional thx for paper cups, they told me that dish washing machine is not feeling good today so I have to use paper cups. Super noisy and uncomfortable Btw they also don't know how to organise payment process. You have to stay in queue to cash desk to be able to pay, and you surely won't get a receipt. 41 EUR for two terrible breakfasts, bottle of water and paper cups. Awful place

We tried a couple dishes at this place and the shakshuka was by far the best. The pancakes werr fluffly and not dry, just abit small portion size. My least fav was the avocado with egg on bread in my opinion, there was too much sauce on it and it was kinda soaked and mashed up even though it looked nice. The prices were abit high for just some breakfast but I guess you also pay for the location at Mehringdamm. All in all good place to try and make your own opinion about it.

The restaurant is located in a very nice neighborhood and has an outdoor area that is very inviting when the weather is nice. However, why the restaurant is absolutely not recommended is due to the absolutely terrible service. After I sat down at a table and asked several times for a menu, nothing came from the waiters, so I had to get one myself from the counter in the restaurant. The wait for the drinks was well over 10 minutes. The food came after about 20 minutes, but it was really tasty. In conclusion, it can be said that if you have enough time and patience it is definitely worth it, but since no normal and sensible person has this, it is simply not recommended to come here.

Had a fantastic breakfast at Belle Alliance today. Service and food were excellent. The owner, Rodi, came out to greet and say hello. I had the Spicy Baked Beans and it was delicious! Very large portion. Highly recommend coming to Belle Alliance for breakfast or brunch.

Loved the brunch <3 we tried the benedict eggs with avocado and the pancake dish which was delicious! Would also want to come back and try some of the lunch menu which looked great on other tables. Its a bit pricey but definetly try it!

Few people Monday morning at 11:30 a.m. We were served quickly and the food was good. However, plants near the terrace attract insects to our dishes. The potatoes lacked flavor. For 5€ it’s a shame. Nice brunch if you are in the neighborhood.

Instaable¹⁰⁰⁰ and taste bomb 👌 Very good quality and easy on the eye. In terms of price, it is of course better than any "normal" breakfast, but if you want to experience something special it is definitely worth it. The service is also really friendly and accommodating.

Delicious and large breakfasts, especially Eggs Royale and Avo Toast. The place has a very atmospheric atmosphere and the service is very nice. Price-wise it's okay. Our regular breakfast spot while on vacation in Berlin. We greet the staff who, after a few visits, began to recognize us and greet us with a broad smile, starting a dialogue with us. Especially the man in the black hat and the lady with tied black hair.

The blond manager was absolutely rude. We ordered main meals and side dishes, and when after 20 minutes wait, from the moment when we received the main dishes, we asked what about side dishes she answered with total ignorance that „I forgot. Dot you still want it?” We said yes, and despite that, we never received these. Lady cleaning tables and delivering drinks was super nice and we could see that she is trying to make the situation up. Horrible attitude of the blond lady can seriously ruin your breakfast mood. Kind words for the kitchen as dishes were delicious and presented beautifully.

We were today at Belle Alliance for brunch. We got the first part of our order pretty fast but the rest never arrived. When asked, the tall blonde waitress with plumped lips replied with arrogant, blasé smirk, that she has forgotten about it and asked if we still want it. We confirmed, that we still want what we ordered. The rest of our food didn't come for another half an hour and the blonde waitress with plump lips was completely ignoring us so we just finished what we had and decided to pay and leave. When we were paying, we noticed forgotten rest of our order on the counter... Very sad unfortunate experience, I have no idea where is the rating 4,5 coming from really. People with attitude should never work in hospitality. But to be fair, that what we got to eat was very good and the young waitress who let us sit in the shade was very nice and helpful.

Apple cake was a little dry around the edges, not sure if that’s how it’s suppose to be. Slow service but understandable since they were busy at 1PM on a Friday. Waited for around 7 mins for apple cakes.

Amazing food and super friendly staff. We took a chai latte & macha latte, both very tasty and there is some sugar on the table that you can use to make it sweeter to your taste, the club sandwich deluxe was served with fresh veggies and some small oven baked potatoes and super thin fries, everything super delicious. As it was my partner’s birthday I mentioned it to the staff (and showed them her id) and they brought a delicious matcha cake beautifully presented with and fresh lemon ice sorbet, fresh fruits and a candle 😋👌

I came across this location by accident while scrolling through my food related instagram influencers. As I am always on the lookout for a good shakshuka and all the pictures look pretty good, I decided to visit this place and try theirs. Sadly tho, I was not impressed by the place. Location wise, its actually quite a nice place and the dishes coming out of the kitchen look visually appealing, including (or especially) the Shakshuka. But what the pictures of the dishes, both here and elsewhere, dont tell.. is that the portion is A LOT smaller than what you get pretty much anywhere else in the city. And neither the price nor the taste makes up for that, quite the opposite. The price they are asking for when you order a single Shakshuka with all three extras will be on a level that gets you 2 main dinner dishes pretty much everywhere else in this area. Its absolutely insane. And while it is a pretty tasty Shakshuka, its not outstanding or extra good, so thats not a reason to pay the price they ask for either. I am usually quite fine to pay a little extra for quality food, good ambiente or extra good taste but this one, at least for me, was not it.

Very bad customer service, the manager told us to wait 30min cause the kitchen was on a break, in the end we ordered 1:15 minutes later.

Terrible service and attitude. We had to wait more than an hour to just order the drinks. We had to deal with the bad attitude of the blonde manager, responsible for the ordering. She was totally rude and neglecting our signals to order. Only the service person, that's was serving the drinks and cleaning the tables was polite and actually seem to work normally. Anyways, I would not recommend it especially on a peak time on Saturdays. They seem not to know how to operate when there is huge demand. However, since we ordered our food, the food arrived on time and it was good.

We were waiting over an hour to even order food. The kitchen did a break on a pick out for lunch. The blond manager of the Store was super rude. Not allowing as to order something to drink or eat, Evan though seated under the sun. Once I talked to her in German and not in English her attitude changed imidiately. The waiter to take our order for food was also rude. The only person nice and polite trying to make out stay pleasant was a waiter who was responsible to clean the tables and bring our drink. I am not recommending this place at all. No food is worth waiting 2 hours for.

Been on a Saturday afternoon around 14h. Carrot cake + iced latte. service was incredibly slow, despite the place not looking too busy (possible consequence of a Saturday lunch). Coffee was great, carrot cake was covered in so many things it felt like a whole different thing. Was ok though.

I had a coffee there yesterday. Unfortunately, the smaller one couldn't speak German, which I don't have a problem with. But it would have been good for yourself. If she had tried to speak some German. She was very nice and brought the coffee quickly. Bravo! The coffee was good. It was round and tasted good. Going to the toilet was very strange. First I had to climb two steps up and then there was a saloon cowboy door, once you got through it there were two doors. The right weapon for men, the left for women and the disabled. Since I am disabled myself, I used the disabled toilet. There were handles there to hold on to, but I asked myself, how does someone in a wheelchair get up there? The toilet paper was on top of the paper towel rack. So again not quite within reach for the disabled. The toilet itself was clean, but it was soulless. A scent, two flowers, a picture and light, that would have done this toilet incredibly well. There were also no tampons/pads or hand cream. Well, I don't care. I'm just a disabled man 😘 Adios dears, see you next time! And I hope with a little more feel-good character.

The coffee took a long time to serve, the foam dropped,and the coffee was cold.The waiter forgot about our oder, the food was served so late.The waiter has a bad service.He claimed we didn't order it. And the plate was Chipped.

I went to have breakfast with my daughter, but we waited for 30 minutes for the manager or waitress to take our order, and they never did. Despite seeing them take other orders, they seemed to ignore us intentionally. I've been to this restaurant a few times, but after this experience, I'm reconsidering whether it's worth coming back.

It's been a long time since I wrote a negative review on Google - in this case there is no other way, I would like to warn other guests NOT to go to this restaurant. This is what happened: We sat outside in the sun, drank coffee and waited for our eggs Benedict with avocado. So far everything so far, so good. When the food came, we discovered that it was completely cold. Cold eggs, cold sauce. You would think that the food would at least come to the table warm. For €17.50 you can expect that in my opinion. When we asked the waitress in a friendly and polite manner if we could have some warm hollandaise sauce because our dishes were cold, she came back after a few minutes and said that that wasn't possible - we accepted that without comment. A little later the boss stormed over to our table and shouted at us aggressively and extremely unfriendly in English in front of all the other guests. We were shocked, we have never experienced something so unprofessional. We should disappear with our negative energy, we had no idea anyway, the sauce is always cold, that's how poached eggs are made and we should stay at home in the future. By the way, I checked again: As usual with this dish, the hollandaise should be warm (not hot, otherwise the sauce will break) and creamy. Poached eggs are gently cooked between 65 and 75 °C - so they should arrive at the table warm. We were very polite and understanding in the conversation. The situation continued to escalate, the boss kept walking away from the table a few meters, only to come back, point the finger at us, belittle us further and became more and more aggressive and louder. That was more than unpleasant (not only for us, but also for all the other guests.) All we politely asked for was a bit of warm sauce on our cold food. That was all! We didn't even complain or want to return the food. I see from other reviews that we are not the first to have this happen (cold food, impossible & unprofessional behavior from the boss). Everyone can have a bad day, we didn't want anything "for free" - if the dish had been warm, we would have gratefully paid. After this scandal, we couldn't eat anything because we felt so uncomfortable and had to change cafes. NEVER AGAIN! Do yourself a favor and save yourself the drama. There are better shops in Berlin where you can get warm food for your money, are treated politely and respectfully and customer satisfaction is valued.

The food is delicious but unfortunately the service is just terrible. Of the. From greeting to paying we were confronted with grumpy, overwhelmed and annoyed staff. They were constantly trying to push us back and forth and move us around so that people who had reserved (including us) could get a place. Very uncomfortable! However, the food was delicious, unfortunately the service made our experience much worse.

Very bad experience! I reserved a table for two on their website, arriving there they said that they couldnt find my reservation so they put us on the same table with two other people. In the meantime they managed to put the other two on a separate table. But even so after a couple of minutes they asked us to change tables. We did so. After more minutes they asked again for us to change (at this time we said that we had been changed before so they let us there). More minutes go by they ask again to put other two people at our table (which again we said ok). In between that and after being 25 minutes sit, we tried calling the waiter, to which we got a rude answer of “calm down”. 10 minutes later we tried again with another waiter to which we heard again to calm down. It was after 40 minhtes and calling again them that we finally could order. Overall very rude and unprepared (and the reservation system does not work)

We reserved online and when we arrived they couldn't find our reservation , we sat and they made us change table 3 times before ordering (not only us but also other 4 poeple). Staff really disorganized and grumpy (it took 40 minutes just to order), for sure they need more people serving tables. At least the food was good but will not go back.

We waited almost 20min to order our food and coffee and then another 20min to get, by that time, cold coffees. Then we asked when our food would arrive and they said a few minutes but when an hour had gone by and we asked again they said they hadn’t even made the food and asked if we wanted to cancel the food but we decided to wait. We finally received our food after waiting almost an hour and a half. The food was decent, nothing special. To be honest a bit disappointed about the quality when paying almost 20€ for it. They ended up giving us our drinks for free because of the hassle which was nice but the overall experience was not good and the food disappointing. However, the staff was understanding and willing to give us compensation even though it didn’t change the fact that we waited for so long and got mediocre food.

I love this place. The service is really Tip-Top. The kitchen not only takes care of the food quality, but places special care into the presentation and details. The ambient of the place is cozy and modern, with lots of plants on the inside and a great terrace which is pretty cool when wanting fresh air or some sun. The owner is daily there, and he will be giving a caring attention to his clients. I am always happy to go back. It's one of my favorite places to have a coffee, or a drink; to eat brunch, lunch.

Unfortunately I can't recommend it. I think the prices are way too high for what you get. At first glance the food looks good, but I had a bread with poached egg and sause hollondaise and the eggs and sauce arrived already cold. Plus baked beans, just a small bowl for far too many euros. I wasn't asked how the food was either. Drinks were good. Ambience is quite nice!
