Caffe funktioniert nicht! Es ist total irreführend 😡

Aus Sicht eines Event-Kinderbetreuungs-Teams, das auf einer Hochzeit hier gearbeitet hat: Die Location ist super schön eingerichtet, hell, geräumig und flexibel nutzbar. Wir hatten eine große Kinderecke mit praktischen Tischen & Stühlen, genug Lampen, einem Teppich von Sofas umgeben und den ganzen Nachmittag zusätzlich Platz zum Toben auf der späteren Tanzfläche. Wir wurden vom Personal total liebevoll umsorgt und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war auch echt lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder! :D Liebe Grüße von Rebecca & dem KiKu-Team

Ein guter Ort zum Kaffeetrinken und Arbeiten⭐️

Ein wunderschöner Ort, aber man sollte wissen, dass es KEIN CAFÉ MEHR ist. Ich war dort, um etwas zu trinken und zu arbeiten, aber es ist seit März 2026 kein Café mehr. Diese Bewertung richtet sich daher an alle, die dasselbe gehofft hatten!

• Exzellenter Service & Freundliches Personal • Wunderbares Ambiente • Köstliches Essen (sehr gut gewürzt) Komme gerne wieder!

In halleache war mein art aber danach .. belong man MIT kebab an die station .. ganz lecker...!

Bei diesen Preisen sollte man doch saubere Tische erwarten können. Ich kam zehn Minuten nach Ladenöffnung und bin durch den ganzen Laden gelaufen, um einen sauberen Tisch zu finden. Die Eier waren nicht gerührt. Der Kaffee war mittelmäßig. Und der Karottenkuchen war furchtbar. Ehrlich gesagt, wundert es mich, worüber sich die Leute so aufregen! Wenigstens war das Personal sehr freundlich.

Für das Gebotene ist es viel zu teuer: 14,90 € für eine Scheibe Brot, Eier und drei Scheiben Speck. Das Bananenbrot war trocken und schmeckte nicht nach Banane. Der Ort selbst ist wunderschön.

Etwas laut und am Wochenende darf man keine Laptops benutzten. Stimmung sonst sehr angenehm! Komme gerne hier her

Es ist ein toller Ort, aber das Essen ist viel zu salzig :(

Leichter Industrialcharme. Uns war am 10.01.26 etwas kühl, aber wir haben uns trotzdem wohl gefühlt. Der Service ist hauptsächlich englischsprachig gewesen. Wir hatten etwas von der Frühstückskarte und waren zufrieden. Die glutenfreie Quinoa/Kürbis/Rotkohl Bowle kann ich empfehlen,... ca. 15 Euro. Schade, das wir zu 14 Uhr wegen einer privaten Veranstaltung gehen mussten. Besonders für grosse Gruppen geeignet, da die Tische gross sind.

Die Lage direkt am Bahnhof ist einfach perfekt und das Personal hat eine so gastfreundliche Atmosphäre geschaffen. Ich habe nur positive Erfahrungen gemacht und der Kaffee war köstlich – der Flat White war einfach himmlisch! 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

Es ist leider nicht zu empfehlen. Die Tische waren dreckig, der Kuchen hat geschmeckt , als wäre er mindestens 3 Tage alt und sehr trocken und die Bedienung spricht nur Englisch. Leider enttäuschend, obwohl der Kaffee gut geschmeckt hat.

Sehr leckere Kuchen und auch tolle vegane Varianten, sowie hochwertiger Kakao und Kaffee gibt es dort zu kaufen. Cooles Industrial-Ambiente mit vielen Pflanzen und nettem, englischsprachigen Personal. Moderate Preise, viele Menschen mit Laptops und ein "Muss" für Hipster!

Ein toller Ort, das Café hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben zwar nichts vom Brunch probiert, aber es scheint ein beliebter Treffpunkt zu sein, da es eine umfangreiche Brunchkarte gibt. Wir waren nur kurz da, um Kuchen und Getränke zu kaufen. Einige der Kuchen stammten von La Maison. Insgesamt ein super Ort.

Ich hatte dort meine Firmenfeier. Die Mitarbeiter im Service waren wieselflink und freundlich, ein ganz klares Plus. Das Essen hingegen war eine Katastrophe. Kalt, Lauwarm und versalzen. Die Tische klebten, Fruchtfliegen kreisten nach kurzer Zeit um mein Essen (wenigstens hat es denen geschmeckt), die Luft war sehr stickig und irgendjemand hat dort ständig mit dem Licht gespielt. Ich hoffe die nächste Location wird besser gewählt denn mein Highlight war leider der Weg nach Hause. Glückwunsch aber noch an den Koch, er muss sehr verliebt sein.

Der Kaffe ist gut, dass Essen stark gewürzt und daher "nur" OK. Der Service ist sehr kühl, gerade noch freundlich und ungefragt auf Englisch. Was uns keiner gesagt hatte: am Wochenende sind Laptops verboten - selbst wenn man in der Zeit isst und nach der vorgesehenen Zeit geht. Es gibt keine Schilder oder Hinweise auf der Webseite. Wir erfuhren das erst nach der Bestellung. Wir wären sonst woanders hingegangen. Auf unseren freundlichen Hinweis darauf, hieß es nur, das sei Geschäftspolitik und schließlich sei es voll ....es waren bestimmt 20 Plätze leer zu dem Zeitpunkt.....tolles Ambiente, aber das Gesamtpaket stimmt nicht.

Unerwartet schöner Ort und tolles Essen

Ich war früher oft hier, und das Essen war super, aber leider ist es schlechter und teurer geworden. 13 Euro für eine Waffel mit einer eher enttäuschenden pochierten Birne sind mir einfach zu viel. Der Raum ist toll, wenn man Kaffee trinken möchte, und der Laden vorne ist auch ganz nett, aber wenn man etwas essen will, ist man hier leider nicht mehr richtig.

Wir haben hier unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und blicken mit so viel Zufriedenheit, Dankbarkeit und Begeisterung auf die Feier im Halleschen Haus zurück!!! Die Vorebreitung war sehr professionell und aus unsere individuellen Wünsche wurde stets eingegangen. Der Service am Abend war - das haben uns viele Gäste zurückgemeldet - super zuvorkommend und eifrig. Das Essen vom Buffet war köstlich und reichlich. Auch wir waren total glücklich mit allem, vor allem, dass wir als Brautpaar während der Feier immer wieder persönlich umsorgt wurden, gab uns ein sehr gutes Gefühl, vielen Dank dafür.

Ein hervorragender Ort zum Arbeiten und Frühstücken. Die Speisekarte bietet eine abwechslungsreiche Auswahl mit frischen Zutaten. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr einladend. Ich war zweimal dort und der Karottenkuchen hat uns besonders gut geschmeckt.

Wucherpreise für Lebensmittel, die bestenfalls mittelmäßig sind.

Wir waren begeistert. Das Essen ist einfach fantastisch lecker. Das Granola mit Kokossahne - ein Genuss. Die Eier schmecken wie eben frisch gelegt. Der Studentenstil im Industrialdesign ein spannender Hingucker - die Toiletten sind ein amüsanter Besuch.

Ich bin hier mit Freunden an einem Sonntag Vormittag hergekommen zum brunchen. Ich ernähre mich vegan. Die Auswahl an veganen Speisen als Hauptgericht ist neben Waffeln, ein Sandwich mit kimchi und ein Teller mit Brot, hummus und co. Letzteres wollte ich bestellen aber es war aus. Da ich absolut kein scharfes essen vertrage und süße Waffeln nicht frühstücken mag hatte ich gefragt ob ich einfach eins der anderen Speisen ohne die tierische Komponenten haben kann. Also simpel Toastbrot mit Gemüse. Die Bedienung hat erstens null gewartet ob ich was bestelle und meinen Freunden bereits ihr essen serviert, noch war es anscheinend möglich mir die Alternative zu geben. Ich hätte auch den Preis bezahlt. Aber die Antwort war es gibt nur das auf der Karte (was ja nicht mal stimmte). Ich habe dann nichts gegessen. Ich verstehe nicht warum ich bei zwei veganen salzigen Speisen eine scharf machen muss und wenn es eine nicht gibt nicht eine Lösung für den Gast finde. Die anderen Speisen fände ich zudem sehr teuer. In einem Post habe ich als Antwort gelesen, dass auf regionale Produkte geachtet wird. Dann verstehe ich aber nicht, warum das vegane Gericht beispielsweise Pfirsich im November dabei haben kann. Das Ambiente ist Geschmackssache und an sich sehr schön und modern gemacht. Ich mag das Konzept der großen gemeinsamen Tische!

Schöne Brunch-Auswahl und geräumige Sitzplätze. Interessante Speisenkombinationen. Der Service war etwas langsam.

Früher mochte ich dieses Lokal, aber mein letzter Besuch war eine herbe Enttäuschung. Wir waren mit Freunden und Kindern zum Frühstück da und bestellten alles für einen gemeinsamen Tisch, damit wir alle zusammen essen konnten. Alle bekamen ihr Essen, nur mein Kind nicht. Seine Waffel kam erst etwa 20 Minuten später, lange nachdem alle anderen schon fertig waren. Die Kellnerin hatte mit keinem Wort erwähnt, dass es so lange dauern würde. Als ich höflich anmerkte, dass sie uns hätte vorwarnen sollen, reagierte sie unerwartet schroff und defensiv. Als ob ich ihr nichts raten würde. Die Waffel selbst war nicht durchgebacken und schmeckte wie roher Teig. Mein Kind spuckte sie sofort aus. Als ich sie zurückbrachte und die Situation erklärte, beharrte die Kellnerin darauf, dass es sich um eine Sauerteigwaffel handele (als ob das Problem darin bestünde, dass wir nicht wüssten, was Sauerteig ist) und weigerte sich zunächst, sie von der Rechnung zu nehmen. Keine Entschuldigung, kein Verständnis, kein Versuch, den Fehler wiedergutzumachen. In jedem professionellen Café wäre das anders gehandhabt worden. Hier herrschte einfach nur Gleichgültigkeit und schlechte Einstellung. Es ist enttäuschend zu sehen, wie ein ehemals guter Ort jegliches Gespür für grundlegende Servicestandards verloren hat.

Schöne Atmosphäre zum Einkaufen von funktionalem Design und zum Genießen von sehr gutem Kaffee und köstlichen Brunchs.

Super leckeres Essen: 10/10. Wir haben Hummus Caponata mit warmem Sauerteigbrot gegessen. Nur zur Info: Die Preise sind ziemlich hoch.

Great place, just a little expensive

We had a wonderful breakfast at Hallisches Haus. The food and drinks were very good. I had the hummus with eggplant, peach, and other delicious ingredients. I definitely recommend this dish. The service was super friendly, and our order arrived quickly. The atmosphere is very relaxed, with a bright, warm, industrial charm. Despite the crowd, we were still able to have a good conversation. Thumbs up.

Don't order extra bacon. It is a absurd. Paid 4eur for two small slices. On top of the minuscule portion, I explicitly asked if they could make it crispy, and they still brought it soft. I should read the reviews before, because I am not the first to report this here.

I had sourdough bread with eggs Benedict. It tasted very good. I ordered the vegetarian option (without bacon), and it was cheaper. I also had a Moroccan mint tea, which was okay (dried). The service was okay so far.

A beautiful, welcoming, and bright location where you can eat and drink excellent products. The prices aren't cheap: we had a cappuccino and carrot cake, two spritzes, and a plate of hummus and caponata for a total of €40 (to give you an idea of ​​the prices), but in my opinion it was absolutely worth it for the atmosphere and the good quality.

Very stylish and delicious healthy food.

The bacon was cooked to perfection but I think the leaves in the toast had a very strong flavor for my liking, I would have liked it better without them. The waffle is ok, but too many sweet components and it’s too sweet to eat it all.

This place has such a pretty outdoor area, especially on a sunny day. The overall design is lovely, and it’s the kind of spot where you could easily spend hours relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. They even have a dedicated laptop area, though I was a bit disappointed to find out that laptops aren’t allowed on weekends when I came to work. My favourite dish here is the Caponata and Hummus, it looks beautiful and tastes even better!

The best place for Sunday breakfast with friends. A visit to the design store afterward is a must!

Great venue in a perfect location in Berlin 💥 As guests at a wedding, we felt truly at home here! The food was excellent and the bar staff extremely friendly! The interior is truly tastefully decorated. The outside is also a place where you can relax! Thank you for the lovely evening 💪🏽🎉

Expensive and uninviting, but good for knick-knack gifts

Gorgeous space, coffee, and food. But gorgeous doesn’t mean good. Though the barista skills are spectacular, the chef failed to care for flavor while being distracted with making pretty looking food. The green omelet was a strange cacophony of peas, mustard seeds, parsley, and zucchini strips. It may have worked if the eggs werent so over cooked. When eggs turn brown their flavor turns to brown sh-. The buckwheat and berry bowl was also beautifully presented, but it was smothered in ginger syrup to the point of making the bowl very spicy and unbearably fragrant like a perfume. When we asked the staff to remake it, they just handed us a tiny bowl of berries. If your customer can’t stomach the food because you made it wrong, remake it!!!!

We went to Hallesches Haus for Coffee + Cake and I can recommend both - especially while sitting in their beautiful outside area (when sitting indoors, it can be a bit loud). Also, the store is super cute - although I can't afford the stuff sold there haha

A friend recommended this place, and I almost ordered everything on the menu, including the kitchen sink, because the food looked like it could win a beauty pageant. Unfortunately, it was more of a “looks can be deceiving” situation. The French toast was just bread with berries, lacking any sweetness—like a vanilla-less vanilla dream. I don’t usually go for super sweet stuff, but this was supposed to be a flavor explosion, not a flavor fizzle. On the bright side, the staff was friendly, and the library setting had some good vibes. I might give it another shot, but next time, I’ll order less and hope for a plot twist.

Hallesches Haus is one of my favorite places in Berlin. My colleagues and I go there for lunch quite often. Great food, amazing ambience. One small complaint I've about this place is a bit of mismanagement during lunch time. They're super busy. Therfore, they miss orders. The food is served very late too. But food is simply the best.

I just discovered this café and I really liked it. The coffee is delicious, as are the cakes☕️🍰. There's also a laptop work area. The decor and ambiance are also very nice. The service is friendly. I'll definitely stop by for brunch sometime.

A very, very nice place – for eating, working, meeting, and drinking a delicious coffee. I find the service here particularly attentive. You can work on your laptop in the back, and eat in the front, where it's a laptop-free zone. The hash brownie is sensationally good! The store is a dream, with lots of treats, wine, and china, and you'll always find something here... even if you're not looking for anything. Update: Sitting outside in the summer is a real treat! The daily special with tomatoes and fried capers is sensationally good. I enjoy eating something I would never have thought of at home! It's a bit strange that you get assigned a seat, but with so many people, it makes sense!

I loved this place! I love how it’s spacious and bright (compared to so many cafes). The coffee is great. There are tables where one can work with a laptop and tables that are reserved for “social use”. The coffee and food were great!

The café at Hallesches Haus has been one of my favorite brunch spots in the city for years. The menu is small, but you can be sure that the dishes on offer are high-quality and delicious. I'm always amazed by the amazing flavor combinations in the dishes, and I think the prices are very fair for Berlin! The service is super friendly, and the shop offers great designer items.

I ordered the vegan waffle. The menu says "we only have a few items so that we can make them well", which I respect and find smart. However, the waffle came out soggy and quite cold. For a Belgian waffle, as advertised, the waffle was also rather flat and undercooked. The flavors were tasty, particularly the apple quince, but after paying 16 euros, I would hope to feel moderately full, and yet my stomach is still grumbling. I loved the atmosphere, and the wait staff were kind.

Sorry but the service is really bad and very very slow… also outside sitting options are very rare and you forever until you get an answer for something. There are a lot better options in Berlin. Sorry.

Eine sehr schöne Lokalität. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Ich hatte heute das Backfisch Sandwich. Der Store im Vorraum lädt zum bummeln ein. Ein Geschenk für die Liebste findet man dort auf jeden Fall. Ich werde auf jeden Fall öfter vorbeischauen.

Great atmosphere, food arrived after 20 minutes, not exactly cheap but very tasty and fairly cleverly prepared.

The menu is small, but everything is super fresh and delicious. We'll be happy to come back.

A super cute and casual cafe with an attached store. When the weather's nice, you can sit outside in the courtyard and enjoy your hot banana bread.

Super delicious food, drinks, and a café in a particularly beautiful interior! In the summer, there's a courtyard for outdoor seating. The shop in the entrance area also offers special design items. I highly recommend it.

Overall great experience but I must say, the food we ordered was very greasy. I guess the new plate has pesto that is already oily, added on top the fried spargel, felt super heavy to me and my friend (obviously burrata and butter didn’t make it better). And it didn’t feel like olive oil on the salad, would not recommend for sensitive tummies (tho very tasty)

It's quite loud inside. Food was super tasty. Service very nice. But it's a shame that most of the staff only speaks English.

I think 2 out of 4 main meal options were vegan (a granola dish and a very nice salad which i had). They also do a very nice coffee with oat milk (lovely latte, and I'm not normally latte person)! it's got a cool vibe, but in case you need to know: there's only one area where laptops are allowed (4 tables if i remember correctly). Lovely staff too, would come back again for sure!

A very nice discovery. Plates are big and delicious, the staff is lovely and the place very calm and enjoyable, both inside and outside (the sunny terrace is a must-go). Cherry on the cake, the coffee is delicious.

An interesting entrance with a view of the inner courtyard tempts you to go inside. The entrance is immediately to the right and you come to a small shop that offers a wide variety of items, from food to wine. The café is right next door and offers classic coffees, tea, etc. There are also various cakes and other delicacies on offer. Further back is access to the terrace in the inner courtyard. A little idyll that you have to discover first

We got a table without a reservation after a short 5-minute wait, which was great. The service was excellent – very friendly and attentive. We both ordered decaf iced lattes, which were delicious. We also had the Eggs Benedict – they were good, though not the best I’ve ever had. I personally didn’t love the black cabbage salad that came with the bread, but that’s just a matter of taste. The location is bright and open with lots of natural light, and the overall vibe is really nice. I’d definitely come back – if only for the incredibly kind and welcoming staff!

Super nice shop with interesting, unusual products. The food was delicious and the staff was absolutely friendly. This is often not the case in Berlin.

Arrived to find it closed for a private event after trekking across Berlin. I checked their website which said they were open and also their instagram which didn’t have any mention of a closure when I checked before opening. There was a transit strike so it was especially difficult to make my way there and made the closure more annoying. I think putting it up on your website and earlier on socials is good practice considering you knew well in advance you’d be closed.

I love Hallesches Haus. I should go there more often, especially during the week when it’s a bit quieter and you don’t have to stress about people lining up to be seated. The atmosphere is very inspiring, a lot of long tables to cowork or do group gatherings or small tables for more intimate settings. The menu often changes but they are always able to reinvent breakfast dishes and keep them interesting. I don’t always understand the mix of ingredients on the menu but I know it will taste amazing- and always does! The staff is friendly! And when you are done eating, you HAVE TO visit the store. There is nothing I wouldn’t buy, and they sell amazing coffee beans too!

We were there on a Saturday for brunch and the place itself is beautiful and love the plants on the ceilings. We also got a place after 5 minutes of waiting. And had to wait another 20-30 minutes for our food. The portion of the egg Benedict could be larger, but it tastes very delicious. But I still liked the coffee the most. I would go again for a coffee but not for food.

We had to wait over half an hour for the food, which is absolutely unacceptable. But the food and the latte were good.

I can only give 5 stars (more if I could) ✨ brunch is fab, mimosas delish, the shop is unreal and full of gorgeous goodies. It’s a dream. A huge shout out to the wonderful staff. They are friendly, sweet, caring and just a vibe. Love and will definitely make this a regular spot ❤️

We came for brunch on Sunday morning. Very nice, modern atmosphere. The meal was excellent and reasonably priced!

Very pleasant place with good food and drinks

Just one of my favourite cafes in Berlin. The space is very open, light and cozy. The staff are always the sweetest and bursting with positive energy. The food is always very delicately made and with top quality. Lovely! One little remark, maybe just personal taste, but the Dirty Chai Latte is too filled with spices that in my opinion don’t go too well together. Nevertheless thanks for the great experience always 🙏

The waiters are very pleasant! All of them! But when I asked to replace the brioche buns with regular bread, I was refused because they said the kitchen was very busy. However, I don’t see why it would be a problem to swap a bun for bread. The utensils were not brought, and I had to go ask for napkins and utensils for our dishes. The meat was very dry, and the dish itself was extremely spicy. No one warned us that it would be this spicy.

Delicious food in a modern capital city atmosphere and a historic building. The balancing act was successful.
