Cafe Buondi in Berlin

We were really excited about the breakfast. It was super tasty and not as run-of-the-mill as other chains, for example. Totally fresh and deliciously prepared. The selection of breakfast variations is also very well chosen. So there is definitely something for every taste. Highly recommended! We'll be back 😊👍

I met this hidden gem thanks to a friend. Great quality, everything seemed to be fresh or just baked. The cakes were the cherry on top! I had Lemon pie and my friend a large piece of käsekuchen. It is also possible to pay by card and the staff is extremely friendly, which is really hard to find in central Berlin. I'll be back for sure!

I went to share a brunch with my friends and the truth is that we will return. Friendly, helpful with a beautiful smile. Very rich and abundant dishes, great coffee.

Unfortunately, Café Buondi didn't convince me at all. The food was absolutely nothing special, more like something you could quickly prepare at home - and way too expensive for that. The prices seem to be aimed at tourists, because compared to the quality it is mediocre at best. I doubt that there are trained chefs at work there, it seemed more like the work of kitchen assistants. The service was also very inattentive and only spoke English or Spanish. The food came quickly, but neither my companion nor I really liked the taste. It wasn't inedible, but it was also far from good. All in all just “okay” and not recommended.

Marvelous food with great staff, I highly recommend. We had the classic and a BLT ciabatta, they were both great, the pouched eggs were indeed perfect as another person already wrote

Great breakfast place which can get crowded also during workday mornings. I love all their egg dishes. The classic one has the biggest portion of bacon I ever had in a restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed and the service very friendly but sometimes to small when it’s busy.

A breakfast and break restaurant with various sweet and savory dishes. We chose two sandwiches, both of which were delicious. The BLT sandwich was 8 euros and the roast beef sandwich was 9 euros, which I consider to be fine. However, we were missing that certain extra for this price. Nevertheless, it is recommended.

Wonderful place for breakfast/brunch! We came in a group of four without reservation. We've waited some 20 mins to get a table but it was worth the wait. My partner and I had the Roastbeef Sandwich, scrambled eggs, and coffee. All was really good! The service was impeccable! We'll be back!

very relaxed atmosphere and very good food. All Italian employees. I would recommend anything with eggs. The location is in the suburbs but still has a pleasant atmosphere. However, it is a bit crowded so the staff is quite busy. Pastries were nice.

As is typical for Berlin, only English is spoken here... But the food and drinks arrived quickly and were really great 👍🏼

We had very nice sandwich and yummy coffee for our breakfast. I can recommend their own Buondi sandwich for sure.

The place is nice and cozy and the people working here are very friendly and welcoming. However, the food is average.

Great atmosphere and decor, on a quiet street, super clean and ordered. The menu is close to perfect for a brunch place, all the classics with some twists and few unique offers. What stands out is the food quality, from the fresh artisanal bread, to the quality of the salmon and everything else we tried. Prices are comparable to similar places and not pretentious. The service is great, kind and respectful. And lastly, all plates are very visually appealing! Would recommend.

Great brunch place. Go early because it fills up. I ordered the eggs with salmon and a flat with oat milk that was great. They have natural juices too. The attention was great 👌🏼

Came here after some years and was blown away by the food. Everything tastes exceptionally good and we could not stop saying how good it was. We had the Goat Avocado Toast, fishy bagel and banana bread - which was my favourite. I will definitely always come back when in Berlin :)

We waited 50 minutes for 2 cappuccinos and 2 croissants. It would have been fine if someone told us before we sat, but no one did and we just sat there waiting. After asking again about our breakfast (we were about to leave without eating) our order magically appeared. Horrible. Sad because the place looked cool.

A pleasure to chat with Javi and Andrés about football and basketball even though we were from rival teams. We feel at home. If one day we return to Berlin, we will not hesitate to return. Lovely place, great food, the place was full of people the day I went so the service suffered a bit but care was shown nonetheless and the Italian background and quality of the food is a nice experience.

Not far from Berlin Wall Memorial and looking for a light lunch - we both had the BLT (mine with avocado) and could not fault . If we were staying closer we’d definitely be back . Lovely friendly staff as well and great drinks menu.

Everything perfect! We came from Hamburg with a group of ten and found that there was a very tasty selection of different dishes for breakfast. Everyone was very satisfied. When we are back in Berlin, we will come again 😀

Cannot recommend the place enough. Food is top level, service is really friendly and the value is high. Make a reservation as it gets very busy.

If I could I would give 0 stars. Such rude staff makes us wait 20-30 minutes for a seat even though there are free tables, only around 20s. To charge groups who all pay alone. No consideration for customers, several walked out with us at the same time.

Really cool atmosphere. There is a lot of natural light and fun artwork. 4 stars because they initially got my order wrong, but quickly fixed it.

Hit the spot! Was craving a fresh and filling egg dish and their Classico was exactly what I was after. Perfectly cooked scrambled eggs with a creamy Hollandaise sauce. I could taste some cress in there which got me at 1st bite! It's a very hearty meal and could be shared. The refreshing Jungle Juice was a lovely addition. The place is well-lit. I sat on the high chairs facing the window. My only comment would be to have some form of basic dressing on the salad. Though fresh, t'was a tad dry!

The menu offers something for every taste and the price-performance ratio is great for the area. A friend has celiac disease and it was no problem getting gluten-free food there. My wife is pregnant and was advised with a high level of professionalism. Really great service, delicious food and really good freshly squeezed juices! We were all more than satisfied.

Very nice and cozy cafe. Good pancakes. The avocado toast was also good, but I would have liked to have been able to choose the number of bread slices. Two might be a bit much. Otherwise pleasant staff and great decor.

Had a really delicious breakfast here. The coffee was good, food was good, service was good. Nothing to complain about. We had a table by the window so we could relax and look outside.

Excellent Brunch in a cozy and elegant environment. I recommend the eggs Benedict (the classic) and a good bloodymary. Very good homemade pastry. We had a carrot cake and a cardamom bun. Good and fast service, not very common in Berlin. We will return for sure!

Ich habe da nur Kaffee getrunken, der war gut. 5 Sterne, weil das Cafe super schön ist, sehr angenehm, lädt zum verweilen ein und die Mitarbeirer waren sehr freundlich.

Ottima opzione per un brunch o una pausa caffè. La scelta è molto varia sia per il dolce che per il salato. L’ambiente mi è piaciuto molto, per la cortesia del personale, il design e la location. Le porzioni sono decisamente generose, l’influenza gastronomica internazionale e per quanto riguarda i prodotti freschi e di qualità.

Nettes Café mit schönem Ambiente und freundlichem Service

Very limited healthy options. I ordered a vegan ciabatta with grilled veggies, got a bread roll instead (which is not a ciabatta)... coffee was simply not good, especially compared to all the great coffee options in the area. No wifi, even though a lot of people seemed to have come to do some work. Very cold (8 degrees outside).

Probamos el desayuno español, el roast beef, y el desayuno de salmón.. limonadas, jugo de naranjas y el café Espresso de verdad...todo espectacular!! la calidad nos sorprende gratamente, recomiendo este lugar en Berlín, si te gusta el buen comer.

Das Essen war leider nur durchschnittlich. Das Personal spricht kein Deutsch. Trotz des regnerischen 8-Grad-Wetters waren keine Heizungen im gesamten Lokal eingeschaltet. Das Badezimmer ließ zu wünschen übrig - es gab Haare und dicke Staubschichten.
