Ein ganz besonders eingerichtetes griechisches Restaurant mit freundlichem Personal. Der Service war zügig. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Portionen waren reichlich. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können das Restaurant weiterempfehlen.

Schönes kleines familiengeführtes Unternehmen. Man kommt sich vor, wie in Griechenland. Es war echt lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein wunderbares familiengeführtes Restaurant mit herzlicher Atmosphäre und hervorragendem Essen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den erstklassigen Service – aufmerksam, freundlich und immer mit einem Lächeln. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Die Speisen waren frisch, lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Super wäre es zusätzlich, wenn es eine Tages- oder Wochenkarte mit ein oder zwei besonderen Spezialitäten aus Griechenland gäbe, die man sonst auf den Speisekarten griechischer Restaurants in Deutschland eher selten findet. Das würde das tolle Angebot perfekt abrunden!

Gemütlich, lecker, freundlich, preiswert!

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Der Service einfach super. Mir hat das Essen sehr gut geschmeckt . Meinem Freund war die Metaxasoße etwas zu lasch.

Erstklassiges griechisches Restaurant. Sehr authentisches Ambiente, aber nur wenige Tische, daher empfiehlt sich eine Reservierung oder frühzeitiges Erscheinen. Das Essen ist frisch und sehr lecker. Ein griechischer Familienbetrieb mit freundlichem Inhaber und Personal. Wir haben unser Mittagessen sehr genossen und kommen bestimmt wieder. Wir empfehlen, in der Tiefgarage zu parken und NICHT auf dem offenen Parkplatz des EDEKA-Supermarkts, da dort eine Parkdauerbegrenzung von 90 Minuten gilt, die videoüberwacht wird und bei deren Überschreitung hohe Bußgelder automatisch an die Adresse geschickt werden. Die Tiefgarage ist brandneu, leer und bietet einen festen Stundenpreis mit 24-Stunden-Zugang. So können Sie Ihr Mittag- oder Abendessen in Ruhe genießen. Wenn Sie anschließend bei EDEKA einkaufen, erhalten Sie an der Kasse einen kostenlosen Parkschein für 2 Stunden. Übrigens: Dieser EDEKA ist der sauberste und freundlichste Supermarkt, den wir je gesehen haben!

Yes, I can recommend this place. For many tourists, the market square is the last stop, but if you walk a little further, you'll find this small, somewhat hidden restaurant.

We were out with a group for lunch and stopped in here spontaneously. + Very friendly, attentive service + Reasonable prices + We had a lovely outdoor seating area in front of the restaurant + The liver was perfectly prepared, and the tzatziki was also very good + The bulgur as a side dish is highly recommended; it was very spicy and delicious + The kids' fries arrived first after a maximum of 5 minutes of waiting...good thinking! - Unfortunately, the fries were a bit soggy; they would have benefited from a little longer in the fryer. - The salad was chopped too coarsely and therefore a bit hard. - The meat for the souvlaki was very finely chopped and stringy...a shame! Overall, we had a very good time and would come back in a heartbeat! We wouldn't order souvlaki again ;)

It took a while to find the restaurant because my Google Maps suddenly started acting up, but after reading the good reviews here we went to eat and we were not disappointed. It is a small restaurant with a small menu, but everything was super tasty and that is what it is all about. We had the caramelized liver with fries and the homemade cheese biscuits. Super! Price/quality recommended.

Nice little Greek restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and were the first guests. Delicious cold starter with crusty white bread. Gyros with Metaxa sauce very tasty and plentiful. We might have liked more sauce and salad dressing. But we were very satisfied, also with the fair price. Would come here again.

The salad was fresh and could be seasoned with oil and vinegar. The fries were crispy and hot. The gyros were tasty as were the little meatballs. The tzatziki was delicious. We were very disappointed with the food. The gyros were dry, the souvlaki were unfortunately hard and the fries were completely over-seasoned for both my wife and me. The beef liver that my wife ordered was exclusively coated with rosemary. The service was unobtrusive and if you wanted to order a drink, you had to look for the waitress first.

The best Greek food abroad with rich flavors from Greece. All the dishes were very tasty and in combination with the wonderful environment and atmosphere of the shop they take you on a journey. A small authentic restaurant with a nostalgic atmosphere in a beautiful half-timbered building in a quiet location near the center of Linz am Rhein. The food was good, well prepared and affordable. When the weather is good there is a nice terrace in front of the door. Highly recommended for a truly Greek evening out for dinner.

Für Freunde und Kenner der griechischen Küche ist das familiär geführte Restaurant "Nostalgia" in Linz/Rhein am oberen Stadttor eine erstklassige Adresse. Die kleine, aber feine Speisekarte spezialisiert sich auf die traditionelle griechische Küche, auf Fertiggerichte wird dankenswerterweise verzichtet. Auch die Getränkekarte ist fast ausschließlich "griechisch". Der Service könnte freundlicher nicht sein. An einem der liebevoll hergerichteten Tische an einem lauen Sommerabend vor dem Restaurant zu sitzen, hat schon fast eine mediterrane Atmosphäre. Ich werde das Nostalgia erneut besuchen.

Very disappointing 😞 went there after reading some reviews. Unfortunately the fries weren't cooked through 😞 and the bifteki left a lot to be desired. Even after a complaint (we were told, it's a matter of taste, unfortunately the calamaris we ordered were inedible) but unfortunately hunger drove us in anyway. We will not be coming back and cannot recommend this restaurant more highly.

There were four of us there. Maybe the right chef wasn't there today. But we didn't like it at all. And in response to this feedback we were told that it was ultimately a matter of taste. Not the best reaction. We definitely wouldn't eat there again.

Fresh food is cooked here every day and you can taste it. The olive oil in the salad alone is amazing – straight from Greece. At the end there is a small dessert and an ouzo. That's the way it has to be. The entire team is extremely friendly and accommodating. Absolute recommendation.

I've eaten in Greek restaurants with friends and family all over Germany, but I've never had such a bad meal anywhere. The spices had nothing to do with those of Greece as we know it. For everyone involved, the best part of the meal was the fries and the drinks. The bill came as a whole and we had to calculate everything ourselves. Service looks different. It's a shame, but never again.

Ich habe dieses Restaurant aus Anlass einer Unternehmensfeier besucht. Es gefiel mir das Ambiente und das Personal bzw der Restaurantinhaber waren sehr freundlich und höflich. Das Essen war lecker, besonders der Salat und die scharfen Peperonis fand ich spannend. Da ich selbst koche, beurteile ich immer das Essen etwas kritischer. Ich bin zwar ein "Allesfresser", aber zu einem guten Essen gehört für mich immer Gemüse. Ich hatte das Menü mit der Nummer 1 gegessen. Es war typisch griechisch und hat mir auch ohne die Gemüsebeilage gut geschmeckt. Spannend fand ich auch den Dessert: Naturjoghurt in Eisform. Es trug die Nummer 14. Wenn jemand griechischen Flair und griechisches Essen mag und dabei ein Schuss Griechenland liebt, dem sei dieses Restaurant empfohlen. Da sehr viele Griechen an diesem Abend anwesend waren, wurde griechisch gesprochen. Leider verstehe ich kein Neugriechisch, obwohl ich Altgriechisch gelernt habe.

Das gemütliche, familiengeführte Restaurant ist gut gelegen und der Fußgänger von Linz, ganz in der Nähe sind Parkplätze und Parkhaus vorhanden. Am Wochenende sollte man besser reservieren, da die Sitzplätze begrenzt sind, auch draußen gibt es im Sommer ein paar Plätze. Wir waren hier abends mit 4 Personen essen und hatten die kalten und warmen Vorspeisen Platten und dazu Gyros mit Reis bzw. Pommes und Lammkoteletts mit Bulgur und jeweils Krautsalat. Alles war sehr lecker und gut zubereitet und die Portionen der Hauptspeisen sehr reichhaltig. Auch an Getränken gibt es eine gute Auswahl an griechischen Spezialitäten von Mythos Bier, über Weine zu Mokka. Preis-Leistung ist absolut angemessen. Der Service war sehr freundlich.

Wir müssen sagen, MEGA MEGA lecker.😀😀😀. Mein Mann und Ich ,haben uns Gyros in Metaxa Sosse überbacken bestellt, mit Pommes 🍟, Tzaziki, Krautsalat (selbstgemacht ), und Baguett dazu. Ich kann wirklich nur sagen schon ewig nicht mehr so MEGA lecker gegessen.🤩 Der service super freundlich und alles super sauber .👍. Ich kann das kleine schöne Restaurant echt nur empfehlen, der in Linz wohnt oder mal zum Ausflug da ist ,und der super leckeren Gyros möchte. Man wird nicht enttäuscht. Guter Grieche mit ansprechender Speisen-Auswahl. Insbesondere die Vorspeisenvielfalt macht einiges her. 😍 Gutes Tzaziki mit ordentlich Knoblauch. In der Vorspeise fanden wir insbesondere die gebratenen Auberginen super. In der Hauptspeise können wir das Bifteki und die gebratenen Sardellen empfehlen. Besonders gut hat uns auch die musikalische Untermalung des Abends gefallen, nicht zu laut aber gut hörbar sorgten die griechischen Melodien für gute Atmosphäre auch im Außenbereich. 🇬🇷 Netter Gruß aus der Küche am Ende des Abends. 😁🙌
