Unseren Vater im Rollstuhl möchte man hier nicht bedienen - trotz gedeckter Terrasse im Erdgeschoss. Das Essen die Treppe herunter zu tragen (wir haben sogar angeboten es selbst zu tun) wäre dann doch zu viel gewesen für das Team. Absolut kein Verständnis, wie man so mit Menschen umgehen kann.

Wir waren inzwischen schon mehrfach hier und sind jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert. Die Qualität der Speisen ist durchweg hervorragend – frische Zutaten, geschmacklich auf den Punkt und stets liebevoll angerichtet. Für uns gehört dieses Restaurant zu den schönsten Adressen direkt am Rhein. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei Herrn Chibub und Herrn Troumi. Beide sorgen mit ihrer freundlichen, aufmerksamen und professionellen Art dafür, dass man sich jederzeit willkommen fühlt. Ein so herzlicher Service ist heute keine Selbstverständlichkeit und trägt jedes Mal zu einem rundum gelungenen Besuch bei. Auch das gesamte Team leistet großartige Arbeit. Das beste ist die Aussicht auf den Rhein. Personal nicht kompetent und Kritik am Essen wird nicht an den Chef gebracht. Nach 20 Uhr kamen die Damen noch nicht mal an den Tisch um nachzufragen ob man noch etwas trinken möchte. Die Pizza war kalt und die Pasta viel zu wenig um satt zu werden. Man gibt soviel Geld aus für ein Essen das man Zuhause hätte besser machen können . Deshalb nur 2 Punkte für den Koch und nur 1 Punkt für die zwei Damen vom Biergarten

Sehr schönes Lokal mit gehobener Einrichtung, sehr freundlicher professioneller Bedienung und sehr guter Küche. Wir haben zu 6 Personen unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt und waren alle mehr als zufrieden. Die Portionen sind reichlich, wir haben nicht alles geschafft. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Sehr angenehm ist die Akkustik, man kann sich trotz vollem Lokal noch sehr gut unterhalten. Die Speisekarte ist etwas chaotisch, da sie nicht wirklich nach Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichten sortiert ist. Die Auswahl ist allerdings sehr gut. Einen Punkteabzug gibt es für die Toiletten, da müsste zwischendurch mal jemand nachsehen und für Ordnung und Sauberkeit sorgen. Verursacht wurde das Chaos dort allerdings von den Gästen.

Was für eine wunderschöne Lage, super freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Service, und Allergien wurden perfekt berücksichtigt... Ein großartiges Restaurant!

Das La Cucina befindet sich direkt am Rhein. Von Terasse und Balkon hat meinen einen fantastischen Blick und sitzt windgeschützt. Der große Biergarten bildet eine Alternative wenn viel los ist. Das Essen war top. Die Portionen waren völlig ausreichend, der Preis obere Mittelklasse und der Geschmack war super. Der Zugang für Gehbehinderte ist etwas beschwerlich weil überall Stufen sind. Ebenfalls konnte die Restaurant Toilette im Keller nicht erreicht werden. Wir werden aufjedenfall wieder kommen!

Das Essen war sehr lecker! Ich hatte das Wildschwein Ragout und es war perfekt gewürzt. Mein Mann hatte eine Pizza in der Größe eines Wagenrads 😉 Der Service war wirklich freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und gemütlich eingerichtet.

Wenn ich dort mein leckeres Eis essen oder meinen Eiskaffee trinke, kann ich die schöne Aussicht genießen. Ich empfehle es sehr gerne weiter. Einfach mal hin fahren und selbst probieren und genießen.

Das Ambiente ist edel aber dennoch heimelig. Die Mitarbeiter freundlich, engagiert und haben die ganze Zeit ein ehrliches Lächeln auf den Lippen. Die Küche überzeugt durch Qualität, Sauberkeit und solides Handwerk. Mitarbeitern haben Spaß an der Arbeit und Begeisterung für die Gerichte, die sie produzieren. Alle Gerichte sind lecker. Die Portion , ich habe eine Pizza gegessen, war imens groß. Es war mir unmöglich sie ganz zu essen.Es gibt eine Auswahl guter Weine. Auf der Aussenterasse hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf ein wunderschönes Panorama. Das lädt zum Geniessen- eine Augenweide Ich kann dieses Lokal uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und definitiv wiederkommen.

Es war lecker. Freundliche Bedienung. Schnell, schöne Auswahl auch an Getränken z.B. Weinen. Schöne Aussicht, aber besser reservieren. Preis und Leistung okay. Nur Aioli schmeckte zu sehr nach Mayonnaise. Aber stöhnen auf hohem Niveau. Die Pizza die an uns vorbei gezogen ist sah lecker aus. Ich glaube wir kommen wieder.

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Abend im La Cucina verbracht. Das Restaurant hat eine tolle Lage direkt am Rhein. Das Ambiente ist freundlich und einladend, für meinen Geschmack etwas zu überladen. Die Speisekarte bietet eine Auswahl an klassischen und ausgewählte italienischen Gerichten. Das Essen war sehr lecker und hübsch angerichtet. Das Personal ist freundlich, der Service jedoch etwas schleppend. Die Toiletten liegen etwas ungünstig im Keller des Restaurants und waren leider in keinem gepflegten Zustand.

Sehr gutes Essen in einem wirklich schönen Restaurant. Nicht günstig, aber da die Qualität passt, ist es vollkommen in Ordnung.

Ich war bisher nur zur Weihnachtszeit hier aber gerade dann ist das Restaurant so wunderschön und gemütlich gestaltet das man sich hier nur wohlfühlen kann. Die Speisekarte ist vielfältig und das Essen wirklich sehr sehr lecker. Vorweg gibt es leckeres Brot welches man mit Olivenöl und Balsamico dippen kann. Das Schokoladenmouse ist einfach nur ein Traum. Auch der Service ist super freundlich und engagiert. Wir hatten einen richtig tollen Kellner bei welchem man gemerkt hat, wie sehr er seinen Job liebt. Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt ist, das man vor Ort nur in Bar zahlen kann. Wir kommen jedoch sehr gerne wieder 😊

Great atmosphere. Very good service. Food rather poor. The vitello tonnato had overly thick slices of meat. The spaghetti carbonara was more of a cheese sauce with bacon. The penne with mushrooms and salmon was visually unappealing; there was too much cheese, and you had to search for the salmon. We were disappointed.

Best Italian restaurant in town

We were at this restaurant for a Christmas party. Unfortunately, the service was extremely rude from the very beginning: questions were repeatedly ignored, and the tone was beyond disrespectful. The absolute low point came at the end of the evening: one person in our group wanted to leave a tip, at which point the server completely lost it and even called the customer an "asshole." Such behavior towards guests is completely unacceptable and has nothing to do with professional service. The only positive aspect was the manager, with whom we spoke afterward. He apologized several times and seemed genuinely concerned. It's all the more incomprehensible, then, that the server in question wasn't even asked to apologize to the customer personally. Overall, a very disappointing evening. Such treatment of guests should not occur in the restaurant industry. We will definitely not be returning. I have never experienced such appalling service!

We, the Hotzels of the Great Koblenz Carnival Society 1847 e.V., visited La Cucina today with friends. It's a restaurant with an exceptional and beautiful ambiance. We had reserved a table for 20 people and received a very warm welcome. The food arrived within 10 minutes. All the staff were friendly and competent. We ordered meat and pasta dishes, tomato soup, as well as pizzas and salads. All the dishes were very good to excellent and offered very good value for money. We can all highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be back! 😀 😉 We would give it even more stars if we could. 😉 😉

My wife and I visited La Cucina with friends over the weekend. It's a restaurant with an exceptional and beautiful ambiance. We had reserved a table for 11 people and received a very warm welcome. All the staff that evening were friendly and competent. We ordered fish (sea bream), meat and pasta dishes, as well as pizzas. All the food was very good to excellent and offered very good value for money. We all highly recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, the Parmesan didn't taste good. After eating, I saw that it was covered in blue mold. Never again.

Had a lovely time tonight, the food was amazing, with well blended tastes and perfectly cooked pasta, great fish dishes. We found the Christmas decor very well suited to the space. The beautiful jazz music playing in the background and the warmth of the space and the friendly attitude of the staff has made our night. Greatly recommend!

First of all, I'd like to share my personal opinion. The negative points were discussed with the staff yesterday. We were there yesterday evening with four people for dinner. The location is fantastic. Great. The food was excellent, there was nothing to complain about, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the pasta dishes were also excellent and beautifully presented. The menu is extensive, though it doesn't need to be so large. There's something for everyone. Good value for money. The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly, but not particularly attentive. Perhaps this was due to a shortage of staff. Now for the negative points: - The tablecloth had stains, which shouldn't be the case. - Then the restrooms in the basement... a disaster... a pungent ammonia smell accompanies you whenever you go to the toilet. This urgently needs to be addressed by a professional company, not with air fresheners. - Various deformed soap dispensers...there are better options. - No hand sanitizer dispensers...a shame. - You can't pay by card here, only cash or PayPal, which in my opinion is far too expensive...this should be changed. Recommended for eating, but not for using the restroom.

Almost a Dubai pizza... At €20, this was the most expensive pizza I've ever eaten. Now, I'm generally not bothered by a slightly higher price if the quality is commensurate – meaning topped with excellent ingredients and expertly prepared; size is secondary. However, this Roman-style pizza was far from that. While the mushrooms were fresh, the pepperoni and olives were from a jar and rather bland, resulting in an overpowering vinegar flavor that even the delicious herbs couldn't mask. Size-wise, it was on the larger side, but not so large as to justify the price given the quality. And I know what I'm talking about, because Italian pizza is my absolute passion (see my reviews of pizzerias in San Gimignano, Lieser, Berlin, and Bendorf), and the best ones I've had cost no more than €14. Finally, I have to say that the pizza dough was really good, the service was absolutely friendly, and the dining area was truly inviting. That is to say: If they replaced the pepperoni and olives with higher-quality products and reduced the price by four to five euros, they could easily give this pizza five stars. As it is, unfortunately, it only gets three.

We ate here with a large group. The overall experience was mixed. I didn't like the taste of my pizza at all – it was huge, but that was the only positive thing about it. If I order a pizza with porcini mushrooms, I expect porcini mushrooms, not mostly button mushrooms. It was also very bland. My partner's pizza was unfortunately similarly tasteless. The positive feedback was completely ignored. Which I, as a customer, found very disappointing. Unfortunately, there was very little response to our requests in general. Drinks were forgotten or arrived after half an hour. We would have liked to order more, but the staff was hardly ever seen – although they were friendly when they were around. At first glance, we really liked the restaurant's ambiance; it seemed very inviting. However, the condition of the restrooms was somewhat disappointing – there was no toilet paper, and the cleanliness could have been better. All in all, we wouldn't come back.

I never usually write reviews, but this time I just have to. My mom and sister were invited to La Cucina pizzeria in Linz am Rhein today, and when my mom saw the pizzas there, she immediately thought of me. She asked if she could bring me one (I was working from home in the Westerwald region), and luckily, that was possible. After about a 60-kilometer drive, the pizza arrived, already cold, of course, but I warmed it up briefly. And what can I say? I've never eaten such a delicious pizza in my entire life! Even reheated, it was simply incredible—huge, perfect in flavor, crispy yet moist. There's nothing comparable in our area. A huge compliment to the entire La Cucina team; you truly make pizza with love! I'm already looking forward to meeting you in person next time I'm in the area. 🍕💕

The food is delicious, delicious, delicious. But the order takes a while to arrive. Goat salad, vegetable pizza, fettuccine, and cola, all for 52 euros. But it deserves the wonderful atmosphere and delicious taste.

They still exist: truly first-class, top-class restaurants with genuine Italian hospitality and absolutely perfect cuisine and food quality. Last weekend, we visited this truly excellent restaurant, La Cucina, in Linz am Rhein. The table we chose was facing the Rhine, so we enjoyed a fantastic ambiance. But let's get to the delights that the fine Italian cuisine prepared for us. For starters, we were served a very good vitello tonnato. The tuna sauce was really well-seasoned. As a second starter, we chose a carpaccio, and we were surprised by the amount of good Parmesan cheese. It tasted very good. I can especially recommend the homemade panzarotti with porcini mushroom cream cheese filling. The also homemade fresh 🍅 tomato sauce was a real treat with these delicious panzarotti. My companion's salad was very fresh, served with a delicious dressing, and the fresh salmon, which gave this salad its special touch, was well-seasoned and perfectly cooked! The second salad with strips of beef fillet and fresh balsamic dressing was very well presented. We can also highly recommend this dish for its taste. All that remains is the authentic Neapolitan pizza 🍕, which was very well cooked and had plenty of toppings. As I said, a truly successful, top-notch lunch that we can rate 5 🌟 stars. Especially these days, it's difficult to always offer good quality. But La Cucina in Linz am Rhein is a true home for guests who appreciate very good Italian cuisine and hospitality. Try it for yourself, but be sure to reserve a table, as the restaurant was very fully booked. Thanks to the crew at La Cucina for this lovely Saturday lunch.

Highly recommended Italian restaurant. Beautifully located on the banks of the Rhine, with plenty of tables overlooking the Rhine and a sun terrace. Tip for guests on the left bank of the Rhine: park in Kripp and then take the ferry on foot.

There's nothing to complain about here. We visited La Cucina as part of a training course with a group of 18 people. No long waits, great staff, and of course, the food was delicious. Whether it was antipasti, pizza, or meat or fish dishes, everyone was very satisfied. Many thanks to the team.

La Cucina in Linz is just such a refuge. The stylish first impression immediately creates a welcoming atmosphere. The attentive service doesn't rush, but rather finds the perfect balance between speed and presence, taking your requests while time seems to stand still. The wait for the food is reasonable, a sign that the kitchens are cooking with care and passion. You can feel that each dish is prepared with dedication to give you an unforgettable culinary experience. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly service and the beautiful ambiance, which invites you to linger, especially on sunny days. It's as if you are sitting on a balmy Italian evening, offering a unique quality in an unforgettable setting, a true Mediterranean gem in Linz.

For the staff just praise words. They are awesome and professional. The restaurant looks modern and it has a superb view of the Rhine. The food was tasty and the prices acceptable. As much as I liked the restaurant, the hotel was another story, but that is another review.

Simply take your breath away with a view of the Father Rhine

A restaurant with great decor. Unfortunately, it was quite dirty. Plates and cutlery had leftover food. Tablecloths (white) had stains. Table decorations had cobwebs. Large, delicious pizza, but unfortunately only lukewarm.

Very friendly staff and fast service. Beautiful interior. The terrace is sheltered from the wind and offers a lovely view of the ferry dock. The food was delicious. The portion sizes were more than generous. All in all, highly recommended.

At first glance, a great spot on the Rhine. At second glance, unfortunately, only moderately enjoyable. They're trying to offer upscale Italian cuisine here, but instead of white cloth napkins, they're using paper napkins. The placemats are laminated. The tablecloth, and at least all the tables around us, are dirty. Dirty with crumbs, red wine stains, and tomato sauce. The pasta from the previous customer was under our table. The restaurant was 30% full, so the mess wasn't due to stress. The online menu was perfect, but in the restaurant itself, it was cobbled together from specially printed A4 sheets in black and white, with some handwritten additions, some with the prices for 2024 on the left and 2025 on the right. The crowning glory: a small black pot of aioli with 4! slices of discount ciabatta. Price: €6.90. Wow... that was painful. You can see some of it in the carpaccio picture in the background on the left and right. The burrata on the pizza was unfortunately barely bigger than a scoop of ice cream, and the taste of the dishes was average. By no means bad, but by no means special or particularly tasty either. The basic framework is in place; now we just need to work on the details, and we'll be up and running.

We stopped by here for a coffee on a Sunday afternoon. Location: 5/5 - great terrace with a wonderful view Cappuccino: 1/5 (far too watery, poor machine quality) Service: 2/5 Unfortunately, only cash payments are accepted. Based on our experience, we probably wouldn't come back again.

Today, I visited the former brewery with my wife and child for the first time since La Cucina moved in. For us, it's by far the best pizza in the area. The prices seem a bit high at first glance, but considering the portions, they're definitely justified. The pictures show a Bambini pizza (a children's pizza, the size of the plate... elsewhere, it would be a large adult pizza) and a pizza for adults (larger than the plate). The crust is wonderfully thin and crispy, the toppings fresh and delicious. We only found the prices for the desserts a bit excessive, but we wanted to try it out. You can't even finish the whole pizza, so you still have a good portion for the next day. The service was very attentive, courteous, and friendly. We would definitely be happy to come back. Update 08/19/2025: You can only pay in cash (why on earth?!) We waited half an hour for our drinks; the poor two only servers had to manage the beer garden and the restaurant area by themselves. The lasagna wasn't warm enough, so it went back and came back perfectly heated. The pizza was top-notch, as always. On the terrace, you walk on loose, broken tiles. There was no paper to dry your hands with in the restroom. After being served, we were ignored, and no one asked if we wanted anything else to drink. We ended up paying at the counter because no one else came. Given the prices and the fact that they don't accept card payments (anymore), this was probably our last visit. What a shame.

I've been here several times and always enjoy coming back. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the Rhine – simply perfect for relaxing. 🌅 The food is always wonderful: so far, I've tried steak, pizza, pasta, and soup, and of course, the panna cotta for dessert – everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious! 👌 A place I can absolutely recommend.

Four of us were out on a trip and found a wonderfully well-maintained ambiance. The terrace, with its upstairs and downstairs access to the kitchen, pantry, and restaurant, still has room for improvement. The service and food were wonderful, and the prices were reasonable. Communication between the kitchen and the waitress wasn't quite perfect, so they apologized for this. It didn't meet their own standards. It can happen. Overall, a lovely highlight of a little birthday trip. We'd love to come back when we're in the area.

As Linz residents, we try to eat at La Cucina several times a year. Unfortunately, we experience terrible service every time: a half-hour wait for our order and drinks to be taken, dishes and glasses from previous guests aren't cleared, tables are left dirty, etc. The service staff always seem overwhelmed and inattentive. It seems as if the manager doesn't give them proper training. He doesn't have his "shop" under control and always excuses himself with the excuse of a lack of staff. I think if you pay your staff well, you can keep them. The men's restroom smells terrible. We are very disappointed every time.

The price-to-portion ratio is absolutely fine. The food itself was exceptionally delicious (Insalata Monte Cristo & Penne Al Arrabiata). The menu offers a good selection. The service was extremely attentive and friendly, and we felt excellently looked after. Overall, the restaurant made a perfect impression in terms of hygiene, and the music (Italo-pop) was appropriate, not intrusive, and played at a pleasant volume. I can wholeheartedly recommend La Cucina.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We were a little late for local time, and we were able to eat two delicious pizzas. The price was reasonable considering the beautiful views we enjoyed while we ate.

Today, September 3rd, 2024, we were there for lunch....my goodness: absolutely fantastic ambience on a railing above the Rhine....superbly cultured, friendly and attentive staff, great food, sharing is no problem, 1/2 liter of chilled wine in a carafe, reasonable prices...dessert: fantastic tiramisu...beautifully decorated with fresh berries, grated nuts and a mirror of raspberry sauce...unreserved recommendation...chapeau!

Where to begin: Dirty cutlery and unclean seats. But there are a ton of ads in the playlist. The service was really slow and inattentive, and it wasn't even full! The menu says sheep's cheese, which is served from the cow. That doesn't make the food bad, but it's really awful for the price! It was truly disappointing, and that's such a shame!

Wir hatten 1 Steak. Bestellt mit Pommes- mit Nudeln in einer Schalle und Soße bekommen. Pommes wurden später gebracht. Alles sehr lieblos serviert. Aufm Teller war tatsächlich nur und ausschließlich kleines Stück Fleisch das Komplet durch und kalt war. 1 Salat mit Rindfleisch- es war ok. Was absolut nicht ok war- war mein Aperolspritz- es hatte kein Geschmack da so viel Sprudel da drin war. Aperol und Sekt fast nicht vorhanden. Für 8.90 €

A very nice restaurant right on the Rhine with a wonderful view, a large terrace, and a beer garden. The interior also has a very nice atmosphere. The service is super friendly and doesn't get discouraged even when it gets busy. If you have to wait a few minutes longer, it's probably due to a lack of staff, so just relax. The food is delicious and the selection is great, with something for everyone, just like the wine list. It's best to make a reservation in the evening. We would go back anytime; everything was great.

The food was delicious, there was a good selection, our waitress was very friendly, and we had a lovely evening outside in the beer garden overlooking the Rhine. The only downside is that you can't pay by card.

We had planned a family trip to Linz... what could be more natural than going out for a fancy meal? The website and the online menu promised true delights... Unfortunately, the reality was different... the tables outside were covered with white plastic tablecloths and dirty... cutlery was only available in plastic cups... okay, that's bearable... The menu was dirty... very oddly arranged, with some dishes you wouldn't expect to find at a good Italian restaurant... The cutlery was old and not properly polished... the spice grinders (pepper and salt) were good grinders... but with the knuckles on them... Vinegar and oil were served in bottles with labels, and you only got the spice grinders upon request... The terrace overall gave an unkempt impression... there was a lot of trash flying all over the floor... Our dog wasn't even offered water... but we had it with us given the outside temperature... The interior had seen better days, and people said this restaurant had also seen good times... but what was unbearable was the ammonia smell. Restrooms... It's excusable that repair work had to be done during the day... such work has to be done at some point. The waitress was very attentive and friendly, but she didn't know the much-excessive menu... so you ordered using the numbers provided... if you found the dish on the excessively large menu... then the freshness probably goes by the wayside... unfortunately, the waitress was busy inside most of the time... I learned something different as a hotel professional... the station/restaurant/terrace must always be staffed by a member of staff... Please note: only cash payments are accepted... has a strange aftertaste in such a large establishment, if the hotel is part of it... can hotel guests also pay in cash??? Very strange... The waitress uniforms should also be reconsidered... very disadvantageous for the staff... Well, all of this would be somewhat bearable if the drinks were cold and the food were excellent... I'd just like to mention the appetizers... Vitello Tonato... overcooked veal with a tuna paste and!!! Mayonnaise... at least the paste tasted like mayonnaise... and as a garnish, hard-boiled eggs sitting on top of the mush... beef carpaccio... under a pile of Parmesan with a quarter of a lemon... voila, the appetizer is complete... no nice garnish of arugula or anything resembling capers or greens... no oil, with three dollops of balsamic vinegar??? Goat cheese salad, while delicious, if you like dressing, you'll drown in it... no big deal, I like dressing, but not brown, expired lettuce leaves... which simply didn't belong there... also, what's corn doing in there??? Not to mention the honey advertised on the menu... I'll mercifully skip the main courses... So, we were extremely disappointed after the online appearance and, should we ever visit Linz again, we'll give this place a wide berth...

We arrived and were treated with disinterest and ignorance. The waiters were casually chatting while we waited for a long time for at least something to drink. We will choose another restaurant on the Rhine in the future.

I don't think it's ever been so difficult to write a review. We went there twice during our stay: once for a larger dinner, once for a small lunch. The food was very good, both meals. Pasta, bruschetta, garlic bread, eggplant croquettes - all truly delicious. The staff is mixed; some are very slow and stressed/unfriendly. Others do a truly outstanding job. What bothered us was the cleanliness in some places. It was the glasses and cutlery - but many more tables were very dirty, the seating was heavily stained, etc. Overall, it didn't make a good impression - but still, based on the food, it gets a 3-star rating. More coordination, better attention to cleanliness and behavior, and it would be a great restaurant.

It was very nice, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We'll be back.

Food was good. Service was very good. Atmosphere amazing in a sunny day. Why 1 Star? Because they only accept payment in cash. No card. In a nice place like this, and in 2025, this is simply unimaginable and unacceptable. I was taken by surprise and relieved when I checked I had cash in my wallet, which is not usually the case. In 2025, cashless payments are expected and standard. You should think about your customers better than this.

TUESDAY, APPRENTICE DAY?! Four of us went to dinner at La Cucina this evening. I've rarely experienced such TERRIBLE SERVICE. Not only are you not asked for a new drink once in a two-hour stay, even though you're sitting on the terrace in the blazing sun, but you also don't get your food at the same time. Without a word, no one shows up for 20 minutes, and after my whole family had finished eating, my food arrived without an apology or anything. On top of that, waiters and waitresses are milling around on the ceiling, twiddling their thumbs, but they don't even dream of asking if guests would like something new to drink. You pay €95 for that?!?! No thanks!

Everything was very good. The service was very friendly, and the prices were reasonable. The view is fantastic.

Formerly a Linzer Brauhaus, now an Italian restaurant. The food came quickly and was okay, and the beer garden was as nice as ever. The service was attentive, but the cushions were a bit worn. The restrooms were clean.

We had a table for two on the terrace with a great view of the Rhine. The service was very friendly. The menu offers a wide selection. The food and drinks were delicious. All in all, highly recommended.😀

A lovely restaurant in the best location in Linz with a generous menu and delicious food. However, you'll need plenty of time and patience, and don't expect the menu to match the expertise. It's a shame, because the lack of staff here isn't limited by the number of people or the friendliness of the staff, but rather by their attentiveness.

I was there for Mother's Day with a reservation for five people. Unfortunately, there are organizational deficiencies, namely: too few staff for the beer garden, outdoor, and indoor areas. Consequently, there were really long waits for drinks and food. The food gave the impression of convenience foods rather than freshly prepared food, although of course the long wait had given rise to hope for more. When a waiter then tells me, upon questioning, that 20 guests had already complained about the long wait, that speaks volumes about a lack of organization. I don't blame the hard-working staff.

The service just makes mistakes and you have to wait to eat and bread isn't brought immediately even though it should be immediately, which isn't done. Not recommended as no food is served after over 1 hour.

We hosted a family celebration here with 40 people. Let's start with the positives: The location is very beautiful and located right on the Rhine. The food was really good! The big BUT: The organization, service, and follow-up communication were simply unacceptable. Even the really friendly and dedicated waiter, who did his best to save the situation, couldn't fix it. We had organized everything in advance with a member of staff: individual menus and drinks, drink sizes, decorations, appetizer platters, etc. The organizing staff member fell ill at short notice. It can happen. What shouldn't happen is that everything that was planned in advance isn't passed on to the manager, who has no idea what's going on. Furthermore, for an event that's been announced for more than six months, one would expect the supplier to be ordered well in advance, rather than drinks arriving the day before, only to be missing due to a missed delivery, and then being told there were no large bottles of water, etc. These aren't perishable goods. At least the problem with the large bottles was resolved after a while. Even employing additional staff on a sunny holiday with a large family celebration at the house would have been entirely reasonable. But the biggest imposition was the wait for the food: The quantity of appetizer platters had been agreed upon in advance and, with proper preparation, it wouldn't have taken about 1.5 hours to arrive. The children only received their food first, following our suggestion, and well after the appetizer platters. And to top it all off, it took a good 2.5 hours from ordering the food to serving the dishes!!!!! We arrived around 1:00 PM, had lunch around 4:00 PM, and coffee/cake at 5:30 PM! I'll just mention in passing that several dishes were served incorrectly and had to be reordered, meaning everyone couldn't eat together. The icing on the cake was the boss himself. In response to our truly polite complaint, he told us, in a very friendly and customer-oriented manner, that he would, of course, come up with something to make amends. When the bill arrived by email two days later, with a request for a prompt transfer, but no sign of any concession, we immediately transferred the amount and followed up with the promised compensation. The response: they hadn't charged for three bottles of wine, each costing XX euros. It's a shame that the bottle price didn't match ours on the bill, and there was no credit note or anything similar on the bill. It would have been fair and transparent to show this alleged discount, which we now have no idea why, on the bill or to inform us about it in advance, rather than only after payment and upon request. A transparent form of compensation would have been, for example, a stated discount on the bill or a voucher for a subsequent visit. The criticism regarding this has remained unanswered to this day. We feel deceived and will not host another celebration there. What a shame about the venue!

Yesterday for the first, but certainly not the last, time, I sat in the beer garden at La Cucina and ate a delicious meal. The service was great, despite the stress and poor internet (device for taking the order), friendly, courteous and helpful. The food was huge and very tasty (pizza). The view is fantastic.

The place is lovely and the food was also excellent. The service was in principle also ok, but was far too busy and paid too little attention to fast service. Waiting for a very long time, which is why I rate the overall experience as very poor
