Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem Restaurant! Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön an Hamid für den hervorragenden Service. Er war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Man hat sich bei ihm sofort wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Dank seiner netten Art wurde unser Besuch noch schöner. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder und können dieses Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Die unfähigen Mitarbeiter schaden den Umsatz des Unternehmens... Zuerst total unfreundlich und lustlos!!! Danach bemerkt man dass in der Auslage alles fehlt keine Garnelen keine Kartoffelecken... anstatt anzubieten, dass schnell fertig zu machen, wird nur unfreundlich der Mund verzogen Und mit den Schultern gezuckt!! Gerade um die Nachmittagszeit sollte doch noch mal alles gut gefüllt sein, es wird doch dort gut warm gehalten... Der Betreiber sollte dringend die Mitarbeiter streng, nachschulen!!!

Ein ausgezeichneter Ort für eine schnelle Mahlzeit zu einem erschwinglichen Preis. Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen.

Früher war ich gerne bei Nordsee in der Heidelberger Innenstadt, aber mein letzter Besuch hat mich leider eines Besseren belehrt. Bei einer Abholung über TGTG wurde ich von einer Mitarbeiterin (klein, etwas blonde Haare) bedient, die nicht nur äußerst unfreundlich war, sondern mir auch bewusst Lebensmittel geben wollte, die eindeutig nicht mehr frisch waren. Mir ist klar, dass Überraschungstüten oft Produkte enthalten, die bald ablaufen – aber hier hatte ich den Eindruck, dass es mit Absicht geschah, und das empfand ich als sehr unprofessionell. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung rate ich anderen, entweder vorsichtig zu sein oder lieber eine andere Filiale aufzusuchen. Schade!

Ich glaube, es gab Fischsuppe, Fish and Chips und Garnelen-Oktopus-Salat. Alles war sehr lecker. Die Preise waren durchschnittlich. Die Atmosphäre war ruhig.

Sie nehmen keine Bestellungen über die App an, obwohl ich eine aufgegeben und sogar zusätzlichen Fisch über die App bestellt habe. Das Personal weigerte sich, meine Bestellung auszuführen und war sehr unkooperativ, was unnötige Probleme verursachte. Wenn Sie keine Bestellungen über die App annehmen, weisen Sie bitte deutlich mit einem Schild oder einer Benachrichtigung darauf hin, um Verwirrung bei den Kunden zu vermeiden.

Das Restaurant war fast leer , hinter der Theke 3 Mitarbeiter, davon haben und 2 erfolgreich ignoriert, einer hat kassiert und bedient. Man hat uns fast 15 Minuten warten lassen, klar, so ein Privatgespräch sollte ma als Gast auch nicht unterbrechen. Und inzwischen horrende Preise, ein Lachsbrötchen, hab ich mir im Außenbereich gekauft, kostet inzwischen einiges über 5€. Ne , danke Nordsee… mein Geld gebe ich dann woanders aus. 🤷‍♀️

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, man merkt, dass hier wirklich Wert auf Service und Zufriedenheit der Kunden gelegt wird. Das war wohl laut einigen Rezensionen in der Vergangenheit nicht immer so, aber aktuell auf jeden Fall. Das Restaurant ist sauber und gepflegt. In der Filiale gibt u.a. diverse Tellergerichte vor Ort, als auch Snacks & kleinere Gerichte direkt To-Go. Es können außerdem alle To-Go-Gerichte auch vor Ort bestellt und gegessen werden. Wenn man die App hat kann man außerdem regelmäßig diverse Rabatte bekommen, die sich durchaus lohnen. Immer einen Besuch wert, wenn man Nordsee mag oder gerne mal Fisch, Garnelen etc. isst.

Der Typ an der Kasse war so unhöflich. Ich konnte es erstmal nicht glauben. Alle Mitarbeiter waren alt und nicht unbedingt sehr freundlich. Irgendwie frage ich mich wie es so ein Typ in Gastronomie arbeiten kann.

Sehr gute Fisch Qualität sehr nette freundliche Mitarbeiter , sehr schöne und saubere Ambiente, sehr empfehlenswert. Einer der besten Nordsee Filialen, die ich besucht habe . Ich werde gerne noch mal kommen in Zukunft

Food quality lower than other Nordsee restaurants I've visited in Germany.

Today I was there with two friends and my children. We ate there and also wanted to buy some herring to take away. We walked up to the fish counter and waited for 7-8 minutes. Then a small, elderly blonde woman came along, pacing back and forth. She looked at us and simply ignored us, while she started complaining to another employee about something. Another elderly woman came in, and the same blonde saleswoman immediately served her. So that was that. We picked up our herring from another shop.

Extremely rude behaviour of the young man behind the register. We ordered a fish curry which he pretended not to hear and instead served us with a more expensive dish. When we protested he was extremely rude, offensive and mean to us and forced us to pay for it even though we didn’t want it.

The worst Nordsee I've ever been to. The male employee doesn't speak proper English and doesn't understand a simple product order. Then, to avoid admitting his mistake, he claims he spoke English to the "non-English speaking" person next to me and that she cancelled it. :) Instead of simply admitting guilt and apologizing, he scolds us. This attitude is completely wrong in the service industry.

The staff are now nothing but unfriendly. On top of that, the food was awful. We ordered a total of six fish sandwiches from Too Good To Go. Not a single one had any sauce or salad. We just received dry rolls with bits of fish on them. Absolutely terrible. I definitely cannot recommend eating there.

We've ordered from Nordsee several times using "Too Good To Go," and it's always been pretty good until now, but this time it was terrible. We simply received a breaded fish fillet in a roll, without sauce or salad. It was very unappetizing and completely dry. That was definitely our last order from Nordsee for a while. 😵‍💫

It seems they didn't want to prepare any more food 40 minutes before closing time. ...it would take too long, since they were closing "soon." I request that the opening hours be displayed correctly to avoid such disappointments in the future.

I paid full price for a not-so-fresh bread roll just 5 minutes before closing time. So if you're going to charge full price, at least make it fresh, not rancid. And even right before closing, you can still be friendly. I would have been better off buying a doner kebab.

On November 8, 2025, at approximately 7:05 PM, I placed an order via the Nordsee app and paid immediately. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told that no order had been received. I showed the staff the paid order, but they informed me that the necessary ingredients were unavailable and that the rolls still needed to be baked, which they didn't have time for. We therefore did not receive our order, even though the money had already been debited. I subsequently sent two emails via "Help & Contact" in the app, but have not yet received any response. Please provide me with an email address for direct contact with customer service so that I can resolve this issue.

We paid from online app but they said they cannot preapare our food. Workers were disrespectful and annoying. Edit: Thank you for your quick response. I appreciate your effort to resolve the issue. My friend paid via app and we can send you the order and the bank receipt from mail if you return back us. The bank withdraw the money but unfortunately we couldn’t get the dishes we ordered. Zero stars if I can, unfortunately. The plaice fillet was cooked in a convection oven and was completely overcooked. The fried potatoes were covered in a disgusting layer of oil (they were swimming in it). The mushrooms were also swimming in an unidentifiable sauce. The food was lukewarm. All in all, 🤢 Price with apple spritzer: €15.98 Money wasted.

Actually, 0 stars, but that's not possible. Dear Sir or Madam, I have been visiting your Nordsee stores regularly for many years and have always been very satisfied with the service and the food. Unfortunately, today (September 11, 2025, approximately 3:00 PM) I had a very unpleasant experience in your store, which I would like to share with you. I wanted to order a warm fish sandwich. The employee at the counter told me I would have to wait a little longer. I then ordered fries and nuggets – which was perfectly fine. There was another person in front of me waiting for their fries. After they were served, however, I noticed that the employee was prioritizing other customers who had arrived after me and completely ignoring me. When I asked him about it, he didn't respond at all and continued to ignore me. I also received no response when I asked if I could speak to the store manager. I then went to the sales area myself to ask for the store manager. There, I was told to speak to a somewhat heavier, approximately 40-year-old employee, whom I also approached. He simply ignored me and kept walking. To my surprise, other customers even told the employee to just ignore me, which he did. I ended up standing at the counter completely unnoticed. I found this behavior extremely disrespectful. I didn't say or do anything inappropriate. I simply wanted to order my food. The employee was a young man with curly dark hair and a slightly darker complexion. I sincerely hope that this incident will be investigated internally and that your employees will be trained accordingly on how to treat customers respectfully. I myself worked in sales for a long time, and we couldn't afford to do something like that, and I would never have done it. It's not the people's fault that I don't enjoy my job. So, I won't take my bad mood out on you.

Good food and the staff are very nice

We were at the Heidelberger Herbst festival and went to the North Sea for something to eat. Our girls wanted fish and chips, but unfortunately, they were only available at the street vendors. The portions were very small, costing over €7 each. Three small pieces of fish and chips didn't taste very good. We had a fried fish sandwich, which we remembered as being better. Everything was also very expensive.

Lucky for those who get what they order! I got the wrong fish, which, as if by chance, was more expensive, and there was no way to change it. I didn't like it either: the thick bread with the bread roll was very "bready," and the over-the-top lettuce and the sauce weren't to my taste either—of course, I didn't order it. The fries were cold and floury, no win either! The staff would probably like to decide for themselves who gets what, without any arguments!

My companion and I ordered different plaice fillets from the menu. The staff member showed us the plaice and enthusiastically announced that he had just made them fresh and they were piping hot. However, we got ours from a completely different tray. My fish was cold and dried out, but the potatoes were good. There was no Diet Coke, Zero, or Fanta. The atmosphere is lovely.

Absolutely terrible! Unfriendly service! I couldn't have been more unfriendly. I didn't want tartar sauce on my fish. The waitress ignored me even after I asked five times, rolled her eyes, and said, "It's on now, eat it or not. No more fish." Maybe give me a new one? No—I was ignored too. I paid almost 60 euros for my family and myself and had to pay for each individual meal separately, or rather, separately, with a card. Why? I didn't get a response! Never again. I was at Nordsee today, on a sunny summer Saturday, at 5:30 p.m. Half the menu was out of stock. No salad, no second patty, not even a Coke, nothing. The burger took 10 minutes, which is no problem when it's fresh. The patty was fresh, but the bun had been sitting in the sauce for what felt like three days. An extra mayo costs 70 cents (are you serious, Nordsee?), but the icing on the cake was the toilet. Everything swam out the door. In short: I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone.

It says "Enjoy hot," but the fried fish is only available cold :( And it wasn't very friendly either. And expensive...

The shift manager (a somewhat older man) is very unfriendly to the other employees and guests. Unfortunately, he makes you feel very uncomfortable. The food tastes as expected. Unfortunately, the children's menu lacks cucumbers and toys.

Worst North Sea restaurant I've ever visited. The fish was burnt, and you can't pay by card. Rudest service I've ever experienced.

Probably the worst fish sandwich I've ever had at Nordsee. The fried fish sandwich was ice cold, the remoulade was practically nonexistent, and the roll wasn't crispy either. The herring sandwich tasted of nothing but water, but it was jammed with cheap onions. It was more like an onion sandwich with a small fish filling that tasted of nothing. The hot food is so small these days that it could pass for a children's menu, but at a higher price than before. So, everything is the exact opposite of what I've come to expect at Nordsee. Absolutely not recommended!

Mr. Baschan does a fantastic job here at the shop in the center of Heidelberg and is the bright light of the place. Over the past year and a half, you can really see how things have improved – everything runs smoothly, the team is friendlier, more competent, and you simply feel better cared for than before! Mr. Baschan is always friendly, helpful, and always has a smile on his face. We absolutely love coming here and feel welcome every time.

Went on vacation in a vacation home in Heidelberg. Ordered food from Lieferando but it never arrived. 45 minutes was stated, but after more than two hours we called several times, but no one answered the phone. After five hours, we received a message from Lieferando, apparently leaving a message on our doorstep because no one was there or even answered the phone. No one called, no one was there, and the whole thing was absolutely outrageous. That was the last time we ordered anything from here. Before that, half of the order was OK—fresh, the other half was old and dry, probably from the day before. Quality varies greatly. Based on the many bad reviews, you can get an idea of ​​what to expect here.

The fish fillet baguette has a similar flavor profile to Filet-O-Fish burger, but it’s served cold, which might appeal to some. The small shrimp box was enjoyable with a nice crispiness, though the batter felt a bit thick for my preference.

Really good meals on offer here. Go inside and sit down and check out the menu for the week. The street side option is however there; you take it away. But I recommend getting the app.

Over €17 for a dead-cooked, dry piece of salmon, a few boiled potatoes and a half-full glass of cola. The annoyed waitress explains to me in an arrogant tone that salmon is expensive here and the cola is only a small one in a large glass. Was there just before 4 p.m. There was hardly any choice of food. The food wasn't worth the calories or money. I didn't feel welcome as a guest. The tables were all dirty.

It closes at 8pm but by 7.30pm it had nothing left, perhaps because the Germans have dinner at 6pm.

I have bought a bottle of beer, the waiter opened it, filled the glass. The half of the beer was still in the bottle he took it and put it aside.

Today, July 6th, 2024 around 4 p.m. we entered the snack bar! I looked at the illuminated billboard and chose hash browns with salmon! They said this is no longer available! Then I decided on a pasta plate (bowl-like), also no longer available! The snack bar is open until 8 p.m. and there were a total of 7 fried fillets on the counter! The employee's enthusiasm was palpable! I finally found a salmon fillet with lukewarm fried potatoes! Reminds me a lot of Baden Baden on Monday! Sale at 12pm! There was nothing going on there anywhere! Not recommended and lukewarm food anyway!
