My companion and I ordered different plaice fillets from the menu. The staff member showed us the plaice and enthusiastically announced that he had just made them fresh and they were piping hot. However, we got ours from a completely different tray. My fish was cold and dried out, but the potatoes were good. There was no Diet Coke, Zero, or Fanta. The atmosphere is lovely.

Today I tried the Nordsee Burger and I can only recommend it. Come on over. It's better than McDonald's, better than Burger King. The Nordsee Burger is fantastic. I'll be back. Bye, see you tomorrow...

I was at Nordsee today, on a sunny summer Saturday, at 5:30 p.m. Half the menu was out of stock. No salad, no second patty, not even a Coke, nothing. The burger took 10 minutes, which is no problem when it's fresh. The patty was fresh, but the bun had been sitting in the sauce for what felt like three days. An extra mayo costs 70 cents (are you serious, Nordsee?), but the icing on the cake was the toilet. Everything swam out the door. In short: I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone.

It says "Enjoy hot," but the fried fish is only available cold :( And it wasn't very friendly either. And expensive...

The shift manager (a somewhat older man) is very unfriendly to the other employees and guests. Unfortunately, he makes you feel very uncomfortable. The food tastes as expected. Unfortunately, the children's menu lacks cucumbers and toys.

Probably the worst fish sandwich I've ever had at Nordsee. The fried fish sandwich was ice cold, the remoulade was practically nonexistent, and the roll wasn't crispy either. The herring sandwich tasted of nothing but water, but it was jammed with cheap onions. It was more like an onion sandwich with a small fish filling that tasted of nothing. The hot food is so small these days that it could pass for a children's menu, but at a higher price than before. So, everything is the exact opposite of what I've come to expect at Nordsee. Absolutely not recommended!

Mr. Baschan does a fantastic job here at the shop in the center of Heidelberg and is the bright light of the place. Over the past year and a half, you can really see how things have improved – everything runs smoothly, the team is friendlier, more competent, and you simply feel better cared for than before! Mr. Baschan is always friendly, helpful, and always has a smile on his face. We absolutely love coming here and feel welcome every time.

Went on vacation in a vacation home in Heidelberg. Ordered food from Lieferando but it never arrived. 45 minutes was stated, but after more than two hours we called several times, but no one answered the phone. After five hours, we received a message from Lieferando, apparently leaving a message on our doorstep because no one was there or even answered the phone. No one called, no one was there, and the whole thing was absolutely outrageous. That was the last time we ordered anything from here. Before that, half of the order was OK—fresh, the other half was old and dry, probably from the day before. Quality varies greatly. Based on the many bad reviews, you can get an idea of ​​what to expect here.

We arrived at 7:15 p.m. for a quick dinner and opted for pasta with fish (the pasta is freshly prepared in the kitchen) and fresh fish from the display case. Then he also gestured to us that they would be closing soon. Is this your understanding of customer service? Is it customary for you to turn away guests 40 minutes before closing time? This kind of service is absolutely unacceptable. There were very few guests anyway – probably even fewer after this experience. We will definitely not be coming back and would advise others not to. Very disappointing.

The fish fillet baguette has a similar flavor profile to Filet-O-Fish burger, but it’s served cold, which might appeal to some. The small shrimp box was enjoyable with a nice crispiness, though the batter felt a bit thick for my preference.

Really good meals on offer here. Go inside and sit down and check out the menu for the week. The street side option is however there; you take it away. But I recommend getting the app.

Over €17 for a dead-cooked, dry piece of salmon, a few boiled potatoes and a half-full glass of cola. The annoyed waitress explains to me in an arrogant tone that salmon is expensive here and the cola is only a small one in a large glass. Was there just before 4 p.m. There was hardly any choice of food. The food wasn't worth the calories or money. I didn't feel welcome as a guest. The tables were all dirty.

We were here on 25th of July and can assure that we will never come back here and recommend others not to come. We hope you can tell her to be a little nicer….

Today, July 6th, 2024 around 4 p.m. we entered the snack bar! I looked at the illuminated billboard and chose hash browns with salmon! They said this is no longer available! Then I decided on a pasta plate (bowl-like), also no longer available! The snack bar is open until 8 p.m. and there were a total of 7 fried fillets on the counter! The employee's enthusiasm was palpable! I finally found a salmon fillet with lukewarm fried potatoes! Reminds me a lot of Baden Baden on Monday! Sale at 12pm! There was nothing going on there anywhere! Not recommended and lukewarm food anyway!

Unfortunately there was hardly any sauce on the fried fish roll, the roll was totally hard on the edge, probably from yesterday, but the pollock roll was ok in terms of taste and only had relatively little pollock on it.

I had dinner there with my son on Wednesday. I wanted plaice, son salmon. When the employee put TK pollock on the plate, I had to explain to him that he wanted salmon and not pollock. His food was ok, but in retrospect my plaice wasn't. I had plaice with potatoes and asparagus. On Thursday I had a grumbling in my stomach and had to throw up in the morning on an empty stomach. All the asparagus came out. An hour later I started having diarrhea which continues to this day (Saturday, dinner was on Wednesday!). I went to the doctor yesterday morning: mild food poisoning 🤢 I hope the nightmare will be over soon. But I will avoid all North Sea stores in the future.

Employees speak almost no German and don't know anything about the food. So they couldn't answer any questions. Were immediately annoyed and unfriendly. Food was cold. The employees eat with their fingers and then go back to serving the customers. I have never experienced anything like it. Simply disgusting and unhygienic.

Unfortunately, Nordsee's quality has generally deteriorated significantly in recent years, in 3 branches that I go to at least once a week. My experience with the Heidelberg branch is as follows; - Tables and chairs were very dirty and at least 4 tables had not been cleared - an employee behind the counter, totally overwhelmed by the crowd (there were a total of 5 guests who wanted to place their order, and alone! - The voucher code could not be activated despite entering it into the checkout several times and therefore we could not use this advantage - Ordered a total of 3 dishes and all three were cold, we left or cleared everything and left the shop. It's a shame that the Nordsee brand can no longer maintain the usual quality

It's an absurdity, especially for the people who work there. They have immigrated and are willing to do jobs that no one here wants to do anymore. The minimum would be to give them the opportunity to learn the language properly in advance and at the same time you could also give them proper training on the products. My questions could not be answered. I can't imagine that I'm the only one who is bothered by something like this. Accordingly, these employees would have to deal with dissatisfied customers every day. Wouldn't it be more pleasant for everyone to ensure in advance that they can do their job correctly?

In and of itself, the shop is fine if you want to eat something quickly in Heidelberg. Tourists, on the other hand, can recommend the many other restaurants with a larger selection of dishes and friendlier staff.

I'm from Heidelberg and have eaten here 30 years ago. I have to say, it's a catastrophe to eat here today. The display is empty at lunchtime and you wait forever for freshly prepared food. The staff speaks poor German, and if so If you ask about the missing fried potatoes, it means the boss doesn't order anything! I will never eat here again!!!!

Zu wenig Personal zum Bedienen der Kundschaft. Lange Wartezeiten bis man dann Bezahlt hat ist das Essen wieder Kalt.

Tasty food and not too expensive

Sehr schöner Laden mit freundlichem Personal und sowohl Innenauswahl mit Sitzplätzen und einer Ausgabe nach Außen zum mitnehmen. Der Bismarkhering war gut, allerdings ist Nordsee doch recht teuer, vor allem, wenn man dort eine volle Mahlzeit isst.

Die Bedienung war so unfreundlich, ich weiss nicht warum man so jemanden vor die Gäste stellt,es wurde aber auch jeder so behandelt. Das Essen war auch nicht berauschend, um 13.00fast nichts in der Auslage und das was ich hatte war alles andere als knusprig.

Erschreckend ! Hatte Lust auf ein leckeres frisches Heringsbrötchen auf die Hand. Was ich bekommen habe war ein altes trockenes Aufbackbrötchen mit etwas Zwiebel mit einem kleinen Hering. Habe daraufhin das Personal angesprochen die mich zum Leiter der Filiale geschickt hat. Er wiederum verweist auf die Nordseegruppe die diese minderwertige Qualität vorgibt. Meine Meinung dazu ist daher ziemlich einfach "der Fisch stinkt vom Kopf her" Nordseefilialen in Zukunft "Nein Danke" Qualität bei Nordsee? Das war einmal. Echt schade.

Ich liebe Nordsee. Essen war wie immer gut. Leider ging es heute im Service etwas hoch her. Dies war aber nur eine Moment Aufnahme. Samstag gegen 14 Uhr wollten anscheinend mehr Leute essen. Matjes mit Bratkartoffeln waren auf jeden Fall lecker 😋

Great fried fish dishes, has an outdoor hut for quick orders. We went to dine in, but didnt understand the ordering. Constantly had to "flag" service.

Ich war gerade dort essen und habe mir gedacht:,,was ein netter Service"! Das Essen🥪 hat auch richtig gut geschmeckt, würde ich auch weiter empfehlen. Doch leider muss ich bei Ambiente ein Stern 🌟 abziehen weil viele Zigaretten auf dem Boden lagen. Aber dafür könnt ihr ja nichts Sonst war alles tip top👍👏

Das Essen war ok. Die Mitarbeiter der Filiale sind seit 3 Jahren gleich unfreundlich und unangenehm. Bei diesen Preisen sollte der Service eigentlich passen, ist aber leider nicht so!

We wanted to eat fish and Nordsea was the solution for us. Unfortunately only the sandwiches and the plate with salmon are tasty. My wife tried Alaska plate and it was fried and full of oil. I tried the pasta plate, it was frozen and boiled in microwave oven. If you buy a sandwich there is no seat to eat it . Only if you buy a plate you can seat inside the restaurant. The prices are high and with that money we could eat a nice burger or a tasty potato soup.

Wollten heute Abend um 18:15 dort etwas essen... Wurden sehr bestimmt darauf hingewiesen das die Dame jetzt nichts mehr grillt oder macht. Wir könnten ja das, noch vorrätige, gebackene Seelachfilet essen.... Wir gingen, ohne zu essen, genau wie ein Paar vor uns auch... Schade

Ungeduldige Verkäufer an der Mitnahme Theke, obwohl ich gesagt habe das ich mit der Karte zahlen will hieß es ich soll mit Bargeld zahlen, weil sie das im Kassensystem schon abgezogen hätte. Genervt hat sie doch die Karte akzeptiert nachdem ich ihr erklärt habe dass das nicht mein Fehler sondern ihr Fehler war!

Die angebotenen Speisen sind kaum genießbar. Eher Reste. Die Beilagen sind fad. Alles eher lauwarm. Auswahl unterirdisch. Das Personal ist missmutig, abgelenkt und zéro serviceorientiert. Hier ist kein Kunde König. Die Atmosphäre ist insgesamt unangenehm. Vor Jahren war Nordsee Heidelberg gut. Mittlerweile ein Desaster auf allen Linien. Die Heidelberger Hauptstraße mag auf den Hund gekommen sein, aber besseres als Nordsee Heidelberg findet sich selbst dort.
