Delicious sushi and salmon tartare. Nice atmosphere and friendly service.

Quite a small restaurant with a “focus” on sushi 🍣. We had reserved online this Saturday evening and otherwise we probably wouldn't have been able to get a table for three people at 6:30 p.m. The sushi was very tasty and the portion size was appropriate for the price. The service was okay, but the noise level was a bit strenuous and we found the "table density" in the small space to be a bit too high.

Under normal circumstances I would have given top marks in all categories. The food was excellent, the service was very friendly and quick. What is not possible at all and is completely unacceptable is that, despite having a reservation, when you arrive you are told that you only have 30-40 minutes to eat because there are so many guests today. This was said to every guest during our visit on 12/31/24 at 6:30 p.m. We felt completely under pressure and the cosiness of a New Year's Eve dinner was absolutely missing. A simple solution would be to simply not accept so many reservations! The form chosen here was completely unacceptable.

Wij hadden netjes gereserveerd (starttijd 19:00 uur) en daarvan ook een bevestiging ontvangen (zonder vooraf de melding van deze tijdsfactor). Het eten was goed en werd snel gebracht. Maar gezien de tijdsdruk ziet je niet op je gemak en is het zeker niet gezellig om daar te eten.

All in all, I was happy with it Evening. The service was good, as was the sushi and starters (unfortunately there were no main courses that day)! The ambience alone was something to complain about. The chairs are a bit cheap (mine was even broken on one side), there was a single small radiator to combat the cold and the lighting could be made better and more comfortable.

Really delicious sushi served in a very presentable way. The pieces of sushi were quite large, almost even too large - but that was on the positive side. Only one waiter taking orders, but he managed it quite well. Huge recommendation to try this place 🤩

The sushi was super tasty and fresh and the portions were very generous. We'll definitely be back!

Delicious and great atmosphere...

We spontaneously looked for good sushi and were not disappointed! The crispy roll fantastic! Plus tuna tartare with avocado, which unfortunately tasted a bit weak. A lot of effort is being made all around, but one or two things are going better.

Fantastic Japanese food with great service!

The day before yesterday we ordered sushi for two people for €55. There were a few pieces of raw salmon, raw tuna and some crispy sushi. The rest was the simplest and cheap sushi filled only with tuna. It's just for show. Nothing recommended!

Nice restaurant centrally in Hamburg. Very nice host. Nice ambience and harmonious menu. We enjoyed it very much.

Highly recommended. Delicious Japanese food, we had the udon noodles with shrimp and the fried tofu is also amazing. And orders a lemonade with it. Go there!

We cannot understand the reviews, some of which are very good. The portions are small and very expensive. This was particularly noticeable with sushi. Otherwise the food was fine. What we were missing a little was creativity. Almost every dish had sweet cucumbers. No typical Asian vegetables, little sauce and the skin of the duck was very fatty and soft. Overall, you can expect a lot more given the prices, which is why we wouldn't come again.

Not in line with previous recessions. The food was OK, but nothing special. The duck was not crispy, the chicken was only lightly fried. Drinks very expensive. Overall, rather disappointing for the high prices. Therefore only 3 out of 5 stars.

Absoluter Geheimtipp; ein kleines eher unscheinbares Restaurant in ziemlich versteckter Lage. Dort gibt es das beste Sushi und wir kommen immer her, wenn wir in Hamburg sind. Es gibt nicht viele Tische. Man hat also eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Essen ist frisch zubereitet, was man auch schmeckt. Für uns das beste Sushi überhaupt! Unbedingt probieren wenn ihr in Hamburg unterwegs seid!

Best sushi I’ve ever tasted. We ordered chefs choice for two, fried chicken and gyoza for starters. Everything was amazing even starter fried chicken! Sashimi was so fresh, it melted in my mouth. Amazing restaurant!

Rien n'est ostentatoire, tout est harmonieux : le service, la musique douce, le cadre. J'ai voulu sortir des sentiers battus et n'ai commandé que des mets inconnus : aubergine grillée et ses flocons de bonite (au goût surprenant de pommes compotées) et tartare de thon, avocat, civettes, tobiko, mayonnaise japonaise et sauce ponzu. Laissez-vous surprendre et transporter par les associations de saveurs. Un véritable voyage gustatif que je vous recommande vivement.

One of the best sushi restaurants in Germany. I've been to a lot of sushi restaurants in Berlin, Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, but many of them can't hold a candle to this restaurant. The food was so good and the ingredients were so fresh, which is not something you can take for granted. If you choose sushi, you should choose this restaurant. If I come back to Hamburg, I will definitely visit this restaurant again.

The sushi and also the breaded shrimp from the starters were very tasty and freshly prepared. So really really tasty. Unfortunately, the waiter was alone, but tried very hard to serve everyone at the same time and with a lot of attention. Parking spaces can also be found nearby.

The atmosphere and the service are definitely very nice as you can see it from the pictures. The restaurant has put an effort in the interior decoration, music and also service, which is fast and quite discreet. The food / sushi / rolls are quite average to be honest, it's OK, but wouldn't put a high expectation here. Again, the decoration and presentation are both very nice, but the taste is not, the fish didn't taste much unfortunately. Therefore the high price range is difficult to accept at a 5 or 4 stars.

Кормят здесь довольно вкусно. Хрустящие роллы с авокадо вообще отличные! Карааге состоит из слишком маленьких, но сочных кусочков курицы. Сет роллы/сашими/суши на двоих огромный, им одним можно наесться. Очень хороший выбор сакэ - его немного, но все, которые мы попробовали, были превосходные. Приятно удивило также гамбургское Asahi beer. Тем не менее, есть и неприятный запах пыли в зале. А также немало паутины под потолком.

It's been a long time since I've had such an excellent meal.

The establishment is simply incredible. The waiter is very friendly, the sushi is incredibly tasty. I ordered sushi, thinking it would be tempura sushi. But it turned out that I misunderstood and the sushi came with salmon, which was uncooked. Due to my pregnancy, I can’t do this, and we asked the waiter to cook it somehow, if possible. To be honest, I didn’t expect anything to work out. 5 minutes later he came with a completely different, incredibly deliciously cooked salmon. My surprise knew no bounds. However, he did not ask for additional payment and did not react in any negative way to my wishes. Thank him very much for his understanding. We'll definitely come here on our next trip to Hamburg, but I'll try to study the menu more carefully. I took sushi and lemonade. Both dishes were incredible. My husband took meat and beer and was also pleased. The interior is also very pleasant, the music is unobtrusive. Thank you very much for your service.

First time in HH and wanted to eat at 3pm. And I can only recommend. My first Ebi Udon and it was very tasty. Compliments for the sauce and the whole plate.

Location Der Laden ist nett eingerichtet aber im Detail unsauber und dreckig. Am Fenster hingen in der Ecke fette Spinnenweben, bereits mit Staub dran, offensichtlich also schon länger so. Service Trotz vollem Laden war der einzige Kellner recht flott und freundlich Essen Preislich weit unter den Top Läden der Stadt, qualitativ vernünftig aber nicht hochwertig. Das Verhältnis Reis/Fisch erklärt den niedrigen Preis. Insgesamt ganz schmackhaft aber eher ein Laden für den kleinen Mittagstisch oder weniger anspruchsvolle Gelegenheits-Sushiesser.

Ate here a few weeks ago during our city trip to Hamburg. Lovely quiet spot, just outside the hustle and bustle of the city. The sushi is really delicious, rarely had it so tasty. The service is very friendly.
