The crispy sushi was perfect! The hospitality was excellent. Be sure to try the matcha tiramisu. The 8 special sushi rolls were between €14 and €16.

It’s my First time ind Hamburg. This place really surprised me. We ordered som starters - Gyoza, crispy wasabi jumbo prawns and edamame beans. We also got the menu “sushi for 4”. All the food was well made and we really enjoyed the food. Well balanced and the preparation of the dish was on point. The sashimi was cut very thick and melted in my mouth. So goood! The service was friendly and with a smile. I am from Denmark and this is now on my top 3 preferred sushi restaurant in Europe. The price is high but that what you pay for quality. Thanks for a good experience.

We ate here in the evening and it was delicious. We especially enjoyed the grilled duck breast in orange teriyaki sauce. We'll be back :)

Excellent beef tenderloin and sushi rolls!

Sushi - best in town. 🍣 Wide selection, and all sushi dishes lovingly and freshly prepared. There were nine of us (2 families) and it was simply a perfect evening. Thank you! Outdoor and indoor seating in a very quiet residential area.

Japanese at its best!!! Nomi is located near the Michel! The sushi was truly delicious! The service was courteous and attentive! Our children were quickly fed with Uschi, too! A fantastic evening!

A highly recommended restaurant decorated with an eye for detail. The portions are generous, fresh and very authentically prepared. The price-performance ratio is just as convincing as the quality of the food and drinks. The dark wood look looks elegant, but the room is still flooded with light. Always a pleasure and always worth a visit.

We decided to have a good portion of sushi on a sunny afternoon. As you can see from the picture, we ate sushi with salmon, avocado and crispy “special rolls” with salmon/avocado and cream cheese. The food was ready very quickly, super tasty and of high quality. We were probably the only guests due to the construction site right next to it and the time (around 3:30 p.m.). The peace and quiet was very good for escaping the urban jungle. The service was also very friendly. The ambience and the quality of the food can also be seen in the price, as they actually charged higher prices - but absolutely rightly so. If you want high-quality and delicious sushi, you'll definitely get your money's worth here. Absolutely clear recommendation! LG

The food was good, but we've eaten better for the decent price. Quality was very good, portion size was ok. Were there on Saturday evening with a reservation, without it being almost impossible to get a place, so it's better to go online or by phone a few days in advance.

The sushi for two was delicious and very fresh! After the starters (miso soup and gyoza - both great) we came out of the restaurant feeling full and happy. The waiter was courteous and attentive - at the end we received a few sightseeing tips. Gladly again!

We were thrilled by the reviews and the pictures - so let's go. However, we were disappointed: 1. Too much rice and not enough seafood 2. Crab sticks - have never seen these on or with sushi. Maybe that's common practice, but I was really surprised, but it reminded us a lot of ReWe Sushi. All in all, pretty average

Quietly located on a side street, nice furnishings but chairs not that comfortable, we sat at a table for two, somehow in the middle of the aisle. The appetizer and cocktails were good but the sushi was the best I've ever had. Fresh, delicious, creative. The Inside Out with beef coating in particular were simply delicious and the simple Maki were also very good quality. Everything was also very nicely prepared🤤 Overall, highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼

Yummy!!!! We came here for the first time because we couldn't reserve a table at EAST, and it was a really good alternative. Nomi is a first-class restaurant serving Japanese cuisine. Relatively small, which makes it all the more comfortable. The service is always friendly and helpful, I always feel welcome here. There is good sushi and sashimi as well as other dishes. The selection is manageable, the quality is great! I recommend making a reservation and trying the fried tofu as an appetizer. It's different than you expect and extremely tasty.

A beautiful Japanese restaurant in the heart of Hamburg with the best quality sushi. However, the service staff was relatively rude and the atmosphere could have been a little more comfortable; we were seated as a larger group at two separate tables. But the sushi was really tasty and the fish was very fresh. As well as the tempura vegetables very tasty and a reasonable portion but quite expensive. If you appreciate good sushi, you should stop by here.

Classic Japanese restaurant 🍴 There's good sushi here, as well as warm dishes. Nomi's Special Roll's, Nigiri or Sahimi, sushi lovers will get their money's worth here. It's a shame there weren't any ramen soups. The decor is beautiful in Japanese style and very cozy. Service and price-performance are right here, clear recommendation!

Quite a small restaurant with a “focus” on sushi 🍣. We had reserved online this Saturday evening and otherwise we probably wouldn't have been able to get a table for three people at 6:30 p.m. The sushi was very tasty and the portion size was appropriate for the price. The service was okay, but the noise level was a bit strenuous and we found the "table density" in the small space to be a bit too high.

Under normal circumstances I would have given top marks in all categories. The food was excellent, the service was very friendly and quick. What is not possible at all and is completely unacceptable is that, despite having a reservation, when you arrive you are told that you only have 30-40 minutes to eat because there are so many guests today. This was said to every guest during our visit on 12/31/24 at 6:30 p.m. We felt completely under pressure and the cosiness of a New Year's Eve dinner was absolutely missing. A simple solution would be to simply not accept so many reservations! The form chosen here was completely unacceptable.

Welkom, je hebt 50 minuten om te eten! Als dat het eerste is wat je hoort als je een restaurant binnen komt. Wij hadden netjes gereserveerd (starttijd 19:00 uur) en daarvan ook een bevestiging ontvangen (zonder vooraf de melding van deze tijdsfactor). Het eten was goed en werd snel gebracht. Maar gezien de tijdsdruk ziet je niet op je gemak en is het zeker niet gezellig om daar te eten.

All in all, I was happy with it Evening. The service was good, as was the sushi and starters (unfortunately there were no main courses that day)! The ambience alone was something to complain about. The chairs are a bit cheap (mine was even broken on one side), there was a single small radiator to combat the cold and the lighting could be made better and more comfortable.

Really delicious sushi served in a very presentable way. The pieces of sushi were quite large, almost even too large - but that was on the positive side. Only one waiter taking orders, but he managed it quite well. Huge recommendation to try this place 🤩

Delicious and great atmosphere...

We spontaneously looked for good sushi and were not disappointed! The crispy roll fantastic! Plus tuna tartare with avocado, which unfortunately tasted a bit weak. A lot of effort is being made all around, but one or two things are going better.

The day before yesterday we ordered sushi for two people for €55. There were a few pieces of raw salmon, raw tuna and some crispy sushi. The rest was the simplest and cheap sushi filled only with tuna. It's just for show. Nothing recommended!

We cannot understand the reviews, some of which are very good. The portions are small and very expensive. This was particularly noticeable with sushi. Otherwise the food was fine. What we were missing a little was creativity. Almost every dish had sweet cucumbers. No typical Asian vegetables, little sauce and the skin of the duck was very fatty and soft. Overall, you can expect a lot more given the prices, which is why we wouldn't come again.

Not in line with previous recessions. The food was OK, but nothing special. The duck was not crispy, the chicken was only lightly fried. Drinks very expensive. Overall, rather disappointing for the high prices. Therefore only 3 out of 5 stars.

Absoluter Geheimtipp; ein kleines eher unscheinbares Restaurant in ziemlich versteckter Lage. Dort gibt es das beste Sushi und wir kommen immer her, wenn wir in Hamburg sind. Es gibt nicht viele Tische. Man hat also eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Essen ist frisch zubereitet, was man auch schmeckt. Für uns das beste Sushi überhaupt! Unbedingt probieren wenn ihr in Hamburg unterwegs seid!

Best sushi I’ve ever tasted. We ordered chefs choice for two, fried chicken and gyoza for starters. Everything was amazing even starter fried chicken! Sashimi was so fresh, it melted in my mouth. Amazing restaurant!
