Nipa Thai-Küche in Neustadt an der Weinstraße

When I arrived, I was initially confused as to why I'd ended up here. But this was the best Thai food I've ever had. It's definitely worth a visit!

We ate at Nipa Thai Kitchen for the first time yesterday. From the appetizer to the main course, we were absolutely thrilled. The owners take great care of their guests. Nothing was lacking.

We ate there last Sunday. We had the red and green curry. Both very tasty. The portions are large, so we had to take the rest with us. The gentleman who served us was in a good mood and really personable :) I can only recommend it and will definitely eat here more often!

We came to this restaurant because of the good reviews, but were unfortunately very unpleasantly surprised. Neither the food nor the service were acceptable. Here is a list of things that happened to us: - No parking space and hardly any parking options (very narrow streets) - Cutlery and napkins were forgotten for one of us. It was addressed (since the owner seems confused by the syntax, I'll point out that it was even addressed by the waiter himself), and yet the cutlery and napkin still didn't arrive for the rest of our stay - The toilet does not have a sink, but instead has a disinfectant spray - The temperature in the restaurant was far too high (estimated at 35 degrees Celsius) due to an oven that was constantly on. Another table may then have a window open - It took a good hour for the food to arrive, which is longer than average for two people. This is not only my opinion, but also based on a court ruling, which gives the guest the right to leave the restaurant without paying after waiting 45 minutes or, if he/she stays, to insist on a 10% discount. - As someone who lived in Asia for 2 years, the food was anything but authentic (incorrectly seasoned, the noodles had a too soft consistency, and the curry was quite watery). On top of that, the dish was brought with a different type of meat than what was ordered. This opinion is based not only on my own taste, but also that of others. It's also possible that many people like it, but this is just a description of my experience. If you want, you can of course narrow-mindedly diminish an expression of opinion or consider whether there might be something to it. - When we asked to pack the food, it took a good 15 minutes for this to happen and only because we had made it clear that we had to leave - When paying we were deducted almost €20 too much, which only didn't happen because we pointed out the calculation error It's been years since we had such a bad experience at a restaurant, which is a shame because the service was friendly despite everything. However, unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant as it is now. EDIT: Quote from the owner "I agree with you absolutely on some points, but I'm really happy that most people see it differently. We want to have exactly these people as guests, the others please don't" So in plain language this means that only people who give good reviews should come. That explains why there are so many good reviews and so few bad ones - because customers are not welcome with criticism. It is very disappointing that this restaurant is not open to other opinions with their response and even tries to undermine every point. There were clearly problems with the services during our visit, which are standard for a restaurant. That's why I decided to speak out. You can then either say that these deficiencies should be corrected or stubbornly deny everything.

Eating like in the living room, has its charm, but you have to like it, we liked it, the food is really good, the price is very good, because the portions are large. Nice owners, we would like to come back.

Ein Geheimtip für alle die thailändisches Essen lieben. Wir haben mit 6 Personen dort zu Abend gegessen und waren alle begeistert. Alle Gerichte waren sehr lecker und authentisch mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet. Die Portionen waren sehr großzügig. Da von meinem Gericht recht viel übrig geblieben ist hat man mir den Rest eingepackt. Die Inhaber sind sehr nett und haben uns obwohl wir erst kurz vor Schluss angekommen sind aufmerksam bedient. Wir geben in jeglicher Hinsicht 5 Sterne.

An insider tip for everyone who loves Thai food. Six of us had dinner there and we all loved it. All dishes were very tasty and authentically prepared with fresh ingredients. The portions were very generous. Since there was a lot of my dish left over, they packed the rest for me. The owners are very nice and served us attentively even though we only arrived shortly before the end. We give 5 stars in every respect.

A small, inconspicuous Thai restaurant from the outside. The food is very fresh and tasty, and the homemade drinks are a hit. Extraordinary (no joke!): since no alcoholic drinks are sold, you can bring your own wine or beer. These are cooled on site.

Everyone I know always raves about the oh-so-delicious food on vacation in Thailand. However, every Thai food I have eaten in Germany has tasted horrible. Like a mixture of ginger, turmeric and ATA scouring powder dissolved in lukewarm coconut milk, yuck... After dining - admittedly reluctantly - at Nipa, I now understand my friends. So fresh and crunchy, clean ingredients, cleanly cooked, no nasty flavor enhancers. Suddenly even I like it. And really good, delicious. Apart from the main course: the spring rolls are the BEST!!! in our galaxy.

If you like authentic Thai, Nipa Thai is recommended. Super friendly service and flexible even with dishes that aren't on the menu. We always pick up the food. To park, simply drive completely down the street. There is parking at the end. Gladly again. There is also a food truck in Deidesheim, opposite the Wasgau supermarket (lunch only).

We spontaneously went here for dinner yesterday for the first time and were very impressed. The food is super tasty and the service is great! Everything is freshly prepared and the quantity is decent. Another positive thing we noticed was that people asked productively if they wanted to take the leftovers home with them. The dining room is small and unspectacular, but that's what makes it special. You feel like you're in the living room. It's all very familiar. The open fire provides cozy warmth on cold days. We are very happy to have such a great restaurant around the corner 👍🏻

Small family-run restaurant, very conveniently located. Food was very good, freshly prepared, service was great. The price is okay, the portion is sufficient. Only the selection of drinks is very limited for various reasons, which the owner explained to us plausibly. However, the alternative homemade elderberry spritzer was very tasty. I would be happy to recommend you.

Ordered there for the first time on the recommendation of my family and it was really particularly tasty! The owners are friendly and warm, which makes you even more happy to be a customer there. What was particularly noteworthy was that the fried dishes were still super crispy, despite the longer journey. Next time we'd be happy to be there on site!

Yesterday we ordered some takeaway here and we were more than thrilled. Here you can get really authentic Thai cuisine!!! It was truly a taste experience and we couldn't stop eating. Even though the portions are really generous. In addition to the great cuisine, the staff is also very courteous and friendly. We have absolutely nothing to complain about. One of the best meals we had here in Neustadt and the surrounding area. A big compliment to you! We will definitely become new regular customers here.

Always happy to come back! Food freshly prepared with high quality products. The spring rolls are to die for! I already had the Tom Kha Gai and Pad Kra Pao. I could eat it again every time! I also think it's great that the waiter asks what spiciness level you can tolerate. Simply great!

Tomorrow's dinner is saved :-) Vegetables were nice and crunchy and not overcooked, as they are unfortunately often served. Will definitely be repeat offenders. Deliveries are now also being made to Ruppertsberg.

Allerbestes Pad Thai!! Hier wird nicht an guten Zutaten gespart. Richtig originale Thai Küche und dazu sehr, sehr freundlich. Portionen riesig.

Das Essen war außergewöhnlich köstlich. Ich hatte als Vorspeise das 7. Gai Satay. Eine so gute selbstgemachte (!) Erdnusssoße habe ich noch nie gegessen. Als Hauptspeise hatte ich das 14. Gaeng Massaman Gai. Sehr herausragend. Das Restaurant an sich ist ein unscheinbarer Diamant in den Gassen von Gimmeldingen versteckt und hat Bistroflair. Wer allerdings darüber hinweg sehen kann, wird höchstwahrscheinlich das beste, authentische Thai Food in der Vorderpfalz kosten dürfen. Hier ist Klasse statt Masse angesagt! Ich gehe wieder hin!

Ich war gestern zum ersten Mal da und habe kurz vergessen, dass ich in Deutschland bin 😸 Die Frühlingsrollen sind einzigartig. Und auch die Hauptspeise - ich hatte Gaeng Massaman Gai mit Garnelen - war großartig. Alles ist frisch, ausgewogen und sau lecker! Reserviert euch an warmen Tagen am besten einen der beiden Tische draußen :)

Wir haben unser Essen für 7 Personen, vor Ort abgeholt. Alle waren sehr begeistert. Super lecker und riesige Portionen. Sehr nette und kompetente Bestellannahme am Telefon. Schnell fertig war es auch. Hier werden wir in Zukunft öfter essen 👍

Kleines Startup Restaurant mit sehr leckeren thailändischen Gerichten. Wegen der nur 5 Tische ist eine Reservierung sinnvoll. Alles was wir gegessen haben war sehr lecker und wir können die Thai Küche nur empfehlen. Alles auch zum mitnehmen. Neben der guten Pfälzer Küche bittet die Thai Küche eine willkommene Abwechslung.

Nipa ist der Vorname der Köchin, die zusammen mit ihrem Ehemann das kleine Restaurant hier in Gimmeldingen neu eröffnet hat. In Wohnzimmeratmosphäre zaubert sie leckerste thailändische Speisen, authentisch und mit viel Liebe. Wir waren gleich mehrfach hintereinander in Gruppen vor Ort und waren begeistert. Egal ob Vorspeise oder Hauptgericht - egal ob vegetarisch oder mit Fleisch oder Garnele. Wir waren happy und kommen wieder und wurden sehr zuvorkommend und nett bedient.

Sehr leckeres Essen, hab dort schon 2 mal bestellt und abgeholt und sowohl mir als auch den Kleinen hat es einwandfrei geschmeckt.

Seit der Neueröffnung im April 2023 ist der Imbiss immer zu den angegebenen Zeiten offen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und von super Qualität. Der Service ist auch toll. Ich gehe sehr gerne zu Nipa.

Insgesamt sehr gut, vor allem die Frühlingsrollen! Gerne immer wieder!
