Hier fühlt man sich wie im Film...so von der Aufmachung her. Das Essen war klasse und die Auswahl so gut, dass ich wieder kommen muss...

45 min vor Laden Schluss darf man nicht mehr drinnen oder draußen essen. Sie müssten sauber machen. Sorry dann mach früher zu! Lange Wartezeit aufs Essen obwohl nichts los ist. Preisleistung ok nächste mal wieder KFC!

Ich wollte mir zwei Hähnchenteile zum Abendessen holen, und der Schenkel war blutig. Das Bein war in Ordnung. Wir haben den Koch darauf aufmerksam gemacht, und seine Antwort war: „Das ist die rote Soße, in der wir das Fleisch braten.“ Ich erkenne Blut, wenn ich es sehe. Das ist inakzeptabel. Die Soße verantwortlich machen und nicht die Verantwortung für das nicht durchgebratene Fleisch übernehmen? Wirklich?! Nie wieder!

Schmeckt mega!! Der Service ist auch nett man muss nur 5min warten. Echt wow!!

Dieser Laden ist nicht mehr so ​​gut wie früher. Es schmeckte und war auch so knusprig wie aufgewärmtes Hähnchen vom Vortag. Mittlerweile versuchen sie einfach nur krampfhaft, die Speisekarte der Kette zu kopieren. Macht doch einfach gutes Brathähnchen und ein paar Beilagen... das ist es, was die Leute wollen... und nicht so ein verhunztes KFC.

Sehr solides Fried Chicken, saftig und gut gewürzt auf jeden Fall KFC Upgrade. Pommes hätten es mehr sein dürfen und die etwas besser gewürzt. Coleslaw war gehackt und sehr gut im Geschmack. Alles in allem solide Sache empfehlenswert!

Das essen ist ok. Etwas besser als die Große Kette mit dem K... - Das Chicken war etwas zu fettig. - Krautsalat war gut - Kartoffelbrei war gut - außer BBQ Sosse nichts erhalten. ketchup, majo an einer Station zum selbet abfüllen.

Ich komm seit meiner Kindheit dahin wenn ich in Lautern bin . Mir fehlen einige Dinge wie spare Rips

Heute seit ewigen Zeiten noch mal dort gewesen. Name ist neu, scheinbar wurde auch ordentlich renoviert. Zehn Chicken Teile kosten mittlerweile 40 € und die Hälfte ist nur schwer essbar, da man permanent auf Mini Knochen beißt. Geschmack ist in Ordnung, krautsalat kaum genießbar. Wiederholungsfaktor eher gering.

Wir waren heute zum ersten und letzten mal dort. Die Bedienung ist sehr unfreundlich, die Family-Box mit Chicken, war leider nicht lecker. Die Panade war alles andere als knusprig. Das einzige was gut war, war der Krautsalat. Ich kann es nicht weiterempfehlen!

Dieses Restaurant versucht krampfhaft, wie eine Restaurantkette zu wirken. Die übersichtliche Speisekarte, das saubere Ambiente und der gute Service gefallen mir sehr. Das Hähnchensandwich war okay, das Hähnchenfleisch war allerdings stark verkocht, an manchen Stellen extrem zäh und ziemlich trocken. Der Krautsalat war zwar frisch, aber er erinnerte mich überhaupt nicht an Krautsalate, die ich kenne, und ich würde deswegen nicht wiederkommen. Die Pommes waren nicht durchgebraten und schmeckten ohne Soße überhaupt nicht. Insgesamt kann ich sagen, dass dieses Restaurant wirklich toll sein könnte, aber ich werde wohl nicht wiederkommen.

I've been coming here since I was a child in the 80s and used to love it. Unfortunately, the quality has declined drastically. The chicken is now soggy, the coleslaw tastes undercooked, and overall, it's no longer good value for money. It's a shame how the place has gone from SFC to Nicks – sadly, it's no longer worth a visit for me.

Very tasty food and friendly staff. The mashed potatoes aren't quite as good as in other places. The chicken pieces are great 👍

We just wanted to try the food here. My personal verdict: it's okay. The mashed potatoes and coleslaw were good. The chicken pieces tasted good but were way too fatty. The wrap is a small snack, but not filling.

We were there on a Friday lunchtime. We had expected something better than the well-known fast-food chain, but we were sadly disappointed. The breading wasn't crispy at all, and even the fries were soggy. As you can see in the picture, the food bore no resemblance to what was portrayed or advertised.

Delicious and generous portions. It's a diner, after all. It feels a bit like being in the USA.

This guy got it right. It’s evident that he studied how to season, bread, and fry the chicken. The spicy chicken is similar to Popeye’s both in seasoning and breading texture but the quality of the chicken is much better. The breading on the strips is textured like Zaxby’s but flavored closer to Cane’s. The chicken is the main character in both options rather than a small piece of chicken dominated by tons of breading. The coleslaw is minced, not shredded, and is very balanced in flavor. I typically don’t like coleslaw, because I mostly find it with thicker cuts of cabbage and too much mayonnaise, but I really enjoyed this one. The fries are salted, not Cajun seasoned. They’re cooked to order and are not undercooked like the local KFC. The oil everything is fried in seems to be fresh, which is clearly evident in the bright color of the fries. This place is incredible. If you’re on the fence, just do it!

I really loved this restaurant! The chicken is delicious, the place is very clean, and the quality is definitely 10/10. What I liked a lot is that if you come late at night, you can still order right away, which is super convenient. Overall, a great experience—I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

We discovered "Nick's Southern Fried Chicken & Ribs" through Max's YouTube videos, and we were definitely not disappointed! 🍗🔥 We had the menu for two with plenty of hot wings, fries 🍟, and coleslaw salad 🥗. By the end, we were stuffed and completely satisfied. We especially enjoyed the hot wings 😋. We'll definitely be back! 🙌✨

For me, the best chicken pieces, "spicy," better than KFC. The chicken wings are also very good. Prices are still reasonable. Service was friendly and attentive. The food took a long time to arrive today, and the line stretched far into the street. Parking isn't easy, with limited options and sometimes cramped.

We were here because of Max's YouTube video. Unfortunately, it's not quite as good as the video suggests. The food is okay, but not exceptionally good.

I was at Nick's Fried Chicken yesterday, and I don't understand Max's (YT) hype at all. Taste-wise, I had two chicken burgers, one with fries and coleslaw, and it wasn't anything special; I've eaten better. The burgers were okay, but the coleslaw was too sweet for me, and the fries weren't crispy and there weren't enough of them. Unfortunately, it was also very dirty there, even though it wasn't busy. There were leftovers from customers on several tables. Then someone went over the tables with a dirty rag, simply wiped the dirt onto the floor, and left everything there. I won't be going there again. The chicken burger next door at Döner Time tastes worlds better. Sorry, but it didn't get more than 2*.

We've gotten the Kentucky Box (3-pcs, 2 sides) with coleslaw (krautsalat) and corn on the cob as the standard sides and an additional side of onion rings to split several times - excellent quality (love the onion rings!). The only thing missing is American style biscuits. I prefer Nick's to the US brands nearby. I've only taken-away so can't comment on the in-restaurant experience.

So delicious! We will definitely be coming back!! Highly recommend the spicy chicken wings, just a tiny bit of spice but so good! The onion rings and the jalapeño cheese nuggets are also amazing. Definitely give them a try if you haven't yet!

I’m glad they stopped offering the ribs. I’ve always liked the coleslaw. The chicken is juicy but they could adjust the amount of salt in their seasoning. I go for the coleslaw and juicy thighs.

The chicken was good. Served fresh and hot. The breast was juicy and not dry like some others I've tried. The breading was perfect. Not too much and well seasoned.

Unfortunately there are no more ribs

After the renovation it looks cool inside. We ate on site and unfortunately we were forgotten - the employee only noticed when I walked up. The food was tasty but a bit “expensive”, I used to like it better :(

Last week, we ordered three chicken pieces with fries and coleslaw. We got the three pieces with coleslaw and mashed potatoes. We then exchanged the mashed potatoes for fries as ordered. We drove home. I think the fries had been left in the fryer. They were cold and unseasoned. On top of that, as can happen, we had to wait 15-20 minutes for the pieces because they were all gone. I remember it differently from the old days, when this was a good place for a quick bite. We'll consider whether to get something again. It used to taste better and was hot. 🔥

I picked up a Family SparBox with fries at around 4 p.m. When I was home you could actually throw them all straight into the trash. Everything was cold and the fries were at least an hour old. We won't get anything more from it, it's a complete waste of money. It used to be better. Too bad.

You get something there once and put it in the bin at home after two bites. The chicken pieces were beyond cold and endlessly fatty. A low point in terms of taste. I don't want to go into detail about the friendliness of the seller. Except that he had perfectly confirmed my opinion about most people in the Palatinate. 👎

I’ve been here before, and while the food was okay then, today’s experience was far worse. The chicken had no real flavor—it didn’t even taste like chicken. Instead, all I could taste was the frying oil. I tried to explain this to a staff member, but he was dismissive, insisting that everything was fine and that the issue was mine, not theirs. I hope no one else has to go through this, but if you do, be aware that complaining might not get you anywhere—because, according to them, it’s your fault, not theirs.

Unfortunately my chicken was too oily and unflavored. The coleslaw salad had a strong flavor and the fries were too oily.

Unfortunately, business has slacked off. The food is delicious but the portions have become much smaller and the price has increased. The tables are often dirty and an hour before closing time you shouldn't be surprised if you can't get everything.

Not terrible but not great either. Chicken was breaded way too much. I understand wanting crispy chicken, but there definitely was more breading than chicken. The chicken sandwich was phenomenal though. I would come back just for that.

The BEST southern fried chicken….🍗 we get a 12 piece split it and eat most of it there. 12 piece runs about 32€ Their spicy is amazing, not too hot but you know it’s there. If you take it to go, they ask that you wait 6 to 7 minutes so they can make a fresh batch for you to take ….that’s great customer service and shows that they care about their end product. I wish there was a chain in the US… thanks Nick’s for giving me my chicken fix far from home for the last three years in Germany 🇩🇪

I arrived with my wife and two small children at 8:15 p.m., wanted to order and eat there, whereupon I was told that at 8:30 p.m. they only do take-away orders, although the restaurant is open until 9 p.m. I pointed out to the employee that it was only 8:15 p.m. and he then started saying something about the cleaning lady. Something like this has never happened to me before, where I had to leave the restaurant with the whole family. Not recommended! Not customer friendly and don't feel like working!

Friendly staff. Food typically American. Unfortunately there are no ribs at the moment (actually my reason for coming here). I was told that they would have to charge €4 due to the increased prices. And people don't want to pay for that, which is understandable. But the chicken pieces and the coleslaw were delicious.

An environmental friendly restaurant! Unlike most of the fast food restaurants, this restaurant serves food on ceramic plates with stainless steel cutlery. Zero disposable plates, less waste. The fried chicken was tender, juicy, and tasty. And the coleslaw was definitely on another level! It was really refreshing and delicious. The cabbage in it was shredded into small pieces but still crispy.

A must when in the area. Top notch quality chicken flavour, fried not too salty, coleslaw on point. Nice and comfortable seating area and clear restrooms. Will definitely come back.
