Great location. Great atmosphere.

The artificially tanned waitress at reception will surely have to work more Sundays to learn how to deal with customers. But I'm sure she'll manage it. Cheers from the couch 😉

Everything's great! It doesn't always have to be downtown to meet up. This is a great place to sit, drink, eat, and chat. I recently met up with my old school friends there.

It's definitely one the best car museums I've seen! There where almost all time vehicles starring from 50s up to quite new modern models! The food was also good, but the beer was not German, which was surprising! But the concept is very interesting to visit! By the way you can also purchase machines!

We celebrated mom's 95th birthday with 19 people and everything was fantastic. Highly recommend sharing antipasti

The dining room was half-empty, the terrace was full. Since we were asked to go outside inside, we were unfortunately unable to become guests.

Even though I was surrounded by classic cars I had never seen before, it was a delicious meal. I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity.

A loud, self-confident waitress ignored us for 10 minutes, even though the place was less than sparsely populated. Then we left...

The restaurant is located in the Classic Remise – a stylishly converted former warehouse that now exhibits vintage cars. The combination of industrial charm and elegant ambiance creates a special atmosphere. The outdoor area within the building is also beautifully designed and invites you to linger. I ordered a salsiccia pizza – well-seasoned, crispy base, delicious toppings, a perfect all-around success. It came with a homemade lemonade, which I highly recommend (especially the Elderflower del Mar). This was my second time there and I was once again very satisfied. An all-around wonderful experience – good food, great location, friendly service. Definitely recommended.

I don't understand all the 5-star ratings. We stopped in there spontaneously because we were in the depot and were thirsty. We were ignored for quite a while, even though it was only moderately busy. We then ordered our drinks and had to wait about 20 minutes for our four drinks, which were brought to our table in a truly uncaring manner. So we quickly decided against eating there—which we had actually planned to do. Both of the service employees we encountered were unfriendly, and like Tim Taler, they seemed to have sold their smiles. Unfortunately, we won't be going there again—a real shame, because we just moved into the immediate neighborhood, and with 18 employees, it would have been a great idea for our breaks.

The pizza and pasta were very good. The atmosphere, nestled in the exhibition of dream cars, is simply fantastic. The price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable.

Perfect atmosphere for drinks when you come in to Classic Remise in Düsseldorf! We ordered drinks and sat for a quick while and their service was pretty agile!

If you like old cars, especially special ones, you should definitely stop by. The restaurant is something special, but there's one small downside: the salami pizza was a bit meager with just five small slices of salami. At first, I thought it was a Margherita pizza...

Called earlier, no hello, no goodbye, just rude answers from the man on the phone. You're not even allowed to ask questions. It's a shame, we wanted to come over as a family, but instead our day was ruined!

Lovely spot with charming vintage cars around. The lemonades were great, the pasta was good but the sauces lacked a bit of flavor. We asked for extra cheese but never got it. The margarita pizza starter was the highlight – amazing sauce! Good value for money overall.

Nice restaurant and café. Long wait for service. Same for payment.

If you love cars, good food, and good service, you should definitely go there.

Imagine five guests sitting down in this restaurant and being greeted by a tall, long-haired waiter with the unfriendly words: “Do you know those customers who always sit at the tables where there are still dirty dishes?” Annoyed Face included. When we replied that all the other tables were reserved, he replied, “Well, this one too.” Only there was no “Reserved” sign on the table. “Besides, the kitchen is closed for two hours anyway,” was added harshly. Actually, we would have liked to at least have something to drink and treat the child to an ice cream, but with this tone we lost the desire to do so. I certainly won't recommend the restaurant in the Classic Remise to friends and customers. Just pathetic, that kind of behavior. I recommend that the waiter take a course in customer relations or psychotherapy.

Great ambience, great food, plenty of choice, service staff super friendly

Delicious food! Extensive menu. You can have Italian food, but also a burger and fries if you're craving that. We chose Italian. The food was fresh and nice and hot. Delicious!! Friendly and attentive service. Nothing to complain about. Definitely recommended!

The food is okay, but the price is quite high. We had to wait quite a while because two servers were responsible for the entire area. The location, however, is great.

The food is fantastic, I had a pizza and Bruschetta. Everything perfect. Compliments to the chef ! Tasty, perfect portion, really really good ! But...... The staff (waiters) are exceptionally horrible. I've never been treated like that in my life. It took a long time to even get their attention. Order was taken without interest, and therefor they got it wrong too. I wanted to go to the toilet before I ordered, but was stopped at the door as I wasn't as "paying guest" yet. Only when I pointed out that I wanted food too as I permitted to proceed. Really a shame, they have a gem in their hands, but need to FIRE the front office staff as soon as possible. The waiters are evening arguing with each other while waiting tables. What a disgrace, they are really pulling the place down.... For service, minus 5 stars ! Would I go again ? Nope.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere among the amazing vehicles was simply dreamy. I love being here every time, enjoying delicious food and having great conversations among the beautiful vehicles.

Give 2 stars only because the food is ok, but service is not nice. The personnel is rude. Sitting there and asking for the waiter feels like you owe them something.

We were placed and after 10 min of waiting we were giving an menu and than like 15 min later we ordered drinks and were told that we can only order pizza and we waited for our drinks that we never got. So we walked out disappointed.

Eating at this place was amazing.

Last month I ate here with my boyfriend during our visit to Remise. Were helped quickly and the food was delicious. Very tasty and large pizza (a bit too big for me), but that was no problem. Was neatly packed immediately and once home I was able to eat here. Definitely a place to come back to.

I've been here several times to order coffee, cake, etc., and I've been satisfied every time. However, most of the waiting staff seemed pretty unfriendly. I've also learned that some of the waiters are more or less friendly depending on the guests' clothing. Today (June 30, 2025) I went to the Classic Remise again and then to the Mezzomar. A companion and I sat outside, or rather in the area next to the cars (we were the only ones up to that point), and waited at least 10 minutes for the waiter, who made his rounds in the restaurant area several times. After about 10 minutes, a family also sat down in the outside area (showroom with the cars). The waiter immediately came out and told the family that it was air-conditioned inside and that it would be better to sit inside, which they did. Once again, however, we were ignored, despite the waiter looking at us several times. We then got up and left. The waiter, with a medium-length black beard and an Italian accent, acted extremely unprofessionally and rudely. I hope the Mezzomar team does something about this.

My friend and I wanted to eat/lunch something, it looked busy and cozy, we came in and were allowed to sit down but no one came to help us, after 20 minutes people came and sat behind us, where drinks were immediately ordered and the menu was provided, and still no one came to us, it seemed to us as if we (Dutch people) were not welcome, so we got up and left.

Unfortunately, our visit wasn't particularly pleasant. The service seemed rather reserved and unaccommodating. We had the impression that our presence was perceived as a burden, which significantly dampened the overall experience. It's a shame, because we were actually looking forward to a relaxing restaurant visit. Perhaps it was just a bad day—however, based on this experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant."

Nice Italian restaurant in the Classic remise. That's why they close earlier. You can sit on a covered terrace with a view of the cars. But inside it is also very nice and trendy, also clean and nice toilets. Price level a bit higher than at a simple pizzeria. I ordered a pizza, I have never had such a big pizza anywhere. Certainly a diameter of 35 cm so you can easily share it with two people. Or order a children's pizza if you are less hungry

A true experience! The Mezzomar in the Classic Remise Düsseldorf impresses across the board. The service is top-notch – friendly, attentive, and with a great sense of customer service. The staff is consistently professional and warm, making you feel welcome from the very first moment. The host is fantastic – present, personable, and truly passionate. And the food? Simply phenomenal! Every plate is a hit, prepared with love and of the highest quality. The drinks selection is also top-notch. The value for money is absolutely spot on – what you get here is worth every cent. For me, it's a clear 5 out of 5 stars! You won't want to leave a single bite unfinished. A huge compliment to the fantastic chef and the entire team – you do a fantastic job. I always enjoy coming back to the Mezzomar Düsseldorf. I highly recommend it!

We've been here several times and have no complaints. Excellent service, wonderful atmosphere, and delicious food. Prices have gone up a bit in recent years, but it's still worth it. We'll be back.

Excellent Italian food, very nice stuff

We went to see the cars. It was a great exhibition. And the whole place was incredibly clean.

Fantastic Place. Great Service. Very nice location , not only for the lovers of Oldtimers. We had bruschetta as antipasti. Absolutely awesome. We ordered spaghetti marinare and scaloppina. They were amazing . The sauce was unbelievable.

We made a reservation by phone and they could have warned us that the kitchen would be practically closed at the reserved time. An absurdity. Staff could also be friendlier. Don't have to go back.

We were at Mezzomar again. This time I can only give 3/5 stars for the food. Among other things, we had a cecar salad that had a lot of stalks in it. The chicken was tasty, but unfortunately dry. All other dishes were beautifully prepared and tasty. We would come again.

Apparently guests who just want to have a drink are rather unwelcome. Although there weren't many guests there, the staff was unfriendly towards us (group of 8 people) and made us feel unwelcome by moving the table three times and rudely asking us several times if we wanted to eat. Unfortunately very unpleasant and unprofessional. The Classic Remise is a nice place but the Mezzomar is the very last place we will enter.

Disastrous service with good food. Staff openly express their lack of interest in their work and the concerns of the guests. We have been here several times, but currently without words.

The only star is for the food. The service leaves much to be desired, the waitress is blasé and probably doesn't like foreigners. They don't let you in without a reservation, it's very stuffy outside and you can smell exhaust fumes.

Food was really delicious, not cheap, but tasted great and definitely worth the money. The dessert was also delicious. Service was quick and good. The location is beautiful. Definitely worth a visit!

Good food but a long wait for the dishes despite few visitors

This was our second time there and I think it's good, but it won't be my favorite restaurant. That doesn't mean it's bad, the service was super nice and accommodating and the ambience itself is also very nice, but ultimately I would prefer other places in Düsseldorf for Italian food. Still, it was tasty.

Look at vintage cars and eat delicious food, what more could you want? Absolutely recommended!

The food at Mezzomar is always great! The pizza, appetizers and spaghetti with aioli and shrimp are super delicious. I really like going there. But getting a table is not always easy - it's best to reserve in advance. The toilets have finally been renovated, but to be honest: they should still be a bit cleaner and fresher. Overall, a nice place to eat – I’d love to come back!

Great location in the middle of fantastic vintage cars. In the background there is a subtle hint of unleaded petrol. The food is very good. Delicious pizza and good pasta. The service is also very attentive. Congratulations to the whole team.

We came to the exhibition and spontaneously decided to stay for dinner. I would like to say that the restaurant is very originally decorated in a modern style. It's a beautiful place with warm lighting. When we were there there weren't many people there. The staff tried to be friendly, but the waitress who served us seemed a bit forgetful. At first she brought drinks, but not a glass for everyone. We waited about 20 minutes but nothing happened. When we asked her to bring the glasses, she made a face as if I had asked her for money. But after that we didn't get any and had to go to the bar ourselves. That it smells like machine oil everywhere and the food apparently smelled like it too. But we wanted to get out into the fresh air as quickly as possible. I don't know how people can stay there for long.

So I tend to rate every restaurant/café I go to and if you look at my profile you can see that I really have a very positive opinion. However, I noticed something very interesting here. When me and my friend wanted to go for a drink here, the waiter stood in front of us and said in broken German that we couldn't eat yet but only after 5 p.m. He didn't even ask what we wanted, i.e. eat or drink. Then my friend said, “Yes, we actually wanted to have a drink.” Then the waiter led us to a table in the last corner, even though the entire middle area was neither reserved BUT free. A few minutes later, around 4:30 p.m., 4 obviously more upscale and 'richer' men came and were given a place right in the middle and offered them food straight away. Especially in a country like Germany, something like this is unimaginable for me. I'm German, middle class, look normal and am still treated differently than someone who can tip €50. That I still experience something like that here. Insolence, especially these days when equality plays a big role. Just by the way, the waitress couldn't even pronounce the word pomegranate lemonade. It has nothing to do with devaluation, but someone who waits should at least be able to pronounce the drink if you prefer rich people.

I wasn't treated well just because I wasn't rich

The food and ambience at Mezzomar Düsseldorf were top – very tasty and stylishly furnished. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. Felt like it was fobbed off quickly. It's a shame otherwise it would have been perfect all around.

Due to a professional trip, I went to the Classic Remise with a resident (residence for people with disabilities) and then had a bite to eat in the Mezzomar. You had the feeling that you weren't wanted there, especially by a certain service member (older man with longer hair and a beard). Above all, this gentleman is not good at being polite. I had the feeling that he liked to deliberately "overlook" you and make you wait extra (hardly any guests on site). When I wanted to pay, we were "overlooked" again, so I went to the front and told another gentleman. The long-haired man stood behind the bar and was busy with his cell phone. I found it very unprofessional. When his colleague asked him that we wanted to pay, he became a little louder and rude towards his work colleague. This man seems to have missed his job. I also think it's not really wheelchair accessible and is quite narrow in places. My conclusion: We and I as a private person will definitely not visit the Mezzomar again.

Mezzomar is highly recommended, but you should make a reservation if you plan to meet up there. The food is generous and offers interesting variations. The waitress is quite assertive, but always friendly and approachable. We enjoy eating there.

Very nice location. Friendly and attentive service. Wine good price-performance ratio. Mixed starters good and plentiful. Pasta dishes were also good but the pasta was quite unsalted. All in all good and recommended.

Loved everything. We had a reservation set for 7:45pm on a Sunday. It was not full at all but in cases where it might be full, best to always just have a reservation. The waiter we had was really friendly and helpful throughout. We got there an hour late and unfortunately the kitchen was closed but we had desert and drinks which were still 10/10. Defiantly going back.

We celebrated a wonderful big birthday in the Mezzomar event room and EVERYTHING went smoothly, we are very excited! The location in the Classic Remise Düsseldorf is of course unique in itself. I usually find cars rather boring, but there are some great pieces of jewelry among the classic cars. There is an event room on the first floor, where you sit separately from the rest of the restaurant and don't notice anything of the normal operations. There are even private (and by the way very clean) toilet rooms, so you're really alone. The event room is surrounded by a balcony from which you can enjoy a fantastic view of the vintage cars. The dome of the beautiful building is still lit up in the evenings, it all looks impressive and is impressive. But what would a location like this be without good food and equally good service? We were spoiled there too! The buffet-style food was not at all run-of-the-mill, but sophisticated and not only extremely delicious, but also very nicely presented. The service was great, the waiters were very attentive and so nice! We and the other guests felt very comfortable. The children also asked for a Nutella pizza from the restaurant and that wasn't a problem either. Many thanks to Ms. Tornetta for the great and patient organization in advance! So if you're looking for a top location with top food and top organization for a special celebration, you've come to the right place! And I also don't want to leave the "normal" restaurant unmentioned: We've already been there beforehand and the food, ambience and service are great there too!

Italian food, espresso, Italian staff and... Spectacular views of an unrivaled collection of cars!

I don’t recommend this Restaurant ,They are so impolite and the food is just horrible, i couldn’t even eat the spaghetti carbonara i was extremely sulty and when i asked for changing my food because i can’t eat it anymore they told me i still have to pay the first shity food which i couldn’t even eat.

If the waitress makes racist comments to customers, it is a disgrace for the entire catering industry. I always thought hospitality was the number one golden rule. But here I realized that this word does not exist in this inhumane town. I seriously doubt the authenticity of the alleged “Mezzomar”, because its attempt to create a product with an “Italian atmosphere” failed tragically. Calling yourself by such a name defiles the entire culture of Italy. This, my people, is a clear example that money makes the world go round and some people will never understand the true value of an individual. Because let's be honest: every cent that flows into the coffers here is better spent in donations for those who really need it.

There is little to write about, the restaurant is simply great! Great employees, an honest and down-to-earth boss… the food is GREAT, in a lovely atmosphere. I'll be back. 💪🏻 Restaurateur with heart and understanding.

Great location in the coach house. Very tasty food!

The food is both visually appealing and absolutely delicious—kudos to the chef for their excellent work. That being said, the customer-facing staff was, for lack of a better term, exotically rude. For example, after waiting 3–4 minutes to be seated, I politely said "Hallo" to a passing waiter to ask for assistance. He responded with "Hallo," without even looking at me, and continued walking. It was clear we were waiting to be seated, and at the very least, he could have informed a colleague if he was busy. I’ve encountered rude staff before, but this interaction was uniquely unpleasant. There were other odd interactions, but I’ll keep this brief. Would I return? Probably not, despite how fantastic the food was.

Wow wow wow..! We ate here for the first time today. What a great restaurant, super cozy, great ambience, great menu and super delicious food! We'll definitely be back, a really great restaurant with a friendly boss. See you very soon!

Today, as car enthusiasts, we visited the Classic Remise again for a long time. We wanted to combine the visit with a meal at the local restaurant. On the entrance board you will be informed to wait for a waiter. After we had already waited 10 minutes, were seen by two waiters and politely ignored, we went in. Suddenly, within a minute, a waiter responded in a brisk tone telling us to wait, followed by asking if we had a reservation? The waiter further explained that the indoor area was reserved for reservations only. Funny, in the recessions the restaurant operator explains that the indoor area is also reserved for guests who want to eat something on the weekend. No effort had been made to offer us another place outside. The thing about the “host” in this restaurant was either not understood or not necessary - maybe both. In any case, we will not make another attempt to visit this store again. The Classic Remise, on the other hand, is always worth a visit. So there are also 3 stars for the ambience.
