Enjoyed a wonderful evening outside on a warm evening with extremely good service and the best recommendations! Worth repeating!

Hello, Unfortunately, we were disappointed during our visit to this restaurant. Our warm starter was brought to the table at the same time as the main course. We ignored that, but unfortunately the warm starter and our main course were completely cold. The waitress apologized and was very polite. However, we noticed that all the tables around us had the same problems. The food tasted delicious, but because it was completely cold, it wasn't worth the price. In addition, we had to wait a long time for further orders, drinks, clearing of the plates and the bill. That was the case with quite a few guests that evening. It's a shame, because otherwise I've only heard positive things about the place. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm it and cannot recommend it based on our experience. Sorry :(

Tasty Turkish restaurant in Nuremberg.

We went to this restaurant for the first time. We ordered starter, main course and dessert, everything was very tasty and nice. Above all, the staff in the restaurant were very nice to us. For a nice, quiet evening after work, or for a birthday party, etc. Very suitable. Especially if you want to enjoy a nice evening in peace with delicious food and a nice ambience.

It's very sad to start by saying "unfortunately", but you cook such delicious food that you made me feel like I was in a dream, but unfortunately, when I was only there, I think the fact that you think that 2 service personnel will be enough for a group of 60 customers causes all the customers to wait at least 25 minutes for any need, for example, I want bread. I waited 15 minutes to ask for it so I could continue my meal, I think you need to add a few more staff to your team to provide a better service. But I doubt the accuracy of any negative comments about the taste.

The Mezze in Nuremberg is located in the most beautiful location in Nuremberg. It's a lovely place to sit and end a summer evening in particular. The food is good too. Therefore, one would think that the basic requirements are already in place. Unfortunately, as I have experienced myself and heard from many others, the service is non-existent. We were there with a larger group and at first we weren't served at all, then in a bad mood and reluctantly, half of them were forgotten and even after politely asking where the food was, the service continued to ignore us. At the end we even said that the food was delicious, but that we would have liked better service given the prices. But then we were just brushed off. All in all, Mezze is a good restaurant. But I personally wouldn't go there again if I got that kind of service.

The food in the restaurant was really good and the quality of the dishes was impressive. The chefs give their all in this small kitchen and we let the food melt in our mouths. Unfortunately the service was a bitter disappointment. When we arrived we had to wait even though we had reserved a table. The table we were given shook so badly that we were forced to put a napkin under it to solve the problem. We then received a whistle from the service staff - absolutely incomprehensible and rude. Despite repeated requests, we did not receive a new napkin. There was no clearing during our stay and we had to ask for bread three times before it finally came to our table. No one came to ask us for additional drinks and when we wanted to pay we had to wait forever. We were particularly impressed by the service management, who was rude and spoke to the young busboy in an inappropriate tone. All in all a frustrating experience, despite the good cuisine.

Everything is fine, the appetizers and meals are delicious, I have nothing to say to them, congratulations. But since you can't sell 1 liter of raki for nearly 200 euros, that's not the case. In the world, single raki is 5 cl and double is 10 cl. Here single is 2 cl, double is 4 cl. Raki is offered as a single for 4 euros. 1 liter of raki is between 20-22 euros. Since you are a business, sell it for 70-80 euros. It is understandable if it is 100 euros. You subtract 50 tek from 1 liter of raki, I think this is not appropriate. Everything in the place is Turkish, it's very nice, when it comes to raki, it's made for German, it's not me, but your head waiter says this, and he also advises me that it's for German. I haven't seen a single German drinking raki, they all drink wine or beer. We come here because the place is Turkish, but we want to drink raki with taste. I made the note from the raki, which is a big detail for me. Hope you update your single and double settings.

I only give the five stars to the kitchen and the two dedicated chefs. They really do their best and cook excellent food even under stress. The two service ladies, on the other hand, are unfortunately an absolute flop. I hope for the store that it can find a reasonable replacement soon.

The food was good, but the service was quite poor. We encountered three different waiters, and each of them was very rude. As a Turkish person, I can confidently say that this is not reflective of our service culture. Please consider hiring staff who align better with Turkish service standards.

The positive first: the food was really good... Unfortunately, the negative points outweighed the negatives in the evening: very long waiting times, inattentive staff, overwhelmed boss. It seems to me as if an attempt is made to generate as much profit as possible over as many tables as possible. However, the rest of the restaurant should also be tailored to the number of tables - and it isn't. The service ladies also seem to be poorly trained - why else do they walk past empty tables several times? We thought: OK, maybe we had a bad day, but one scene made the final difference in the rating: after a long wait (no one wanted to have dessert with us), I went straight to the counter to pay. The boss was standing behind the bar, sweating and spinning, and two of the service ladies were sitting at a table in front of it: eating. Completely wrong priority given a full house. It remains to be hoped that the owner will perhaps prepare for a smaller profit but will improve the service. Then guests could become regulars. Or maybe he doesn't need it because someone always wants to eat there...

It's a pretty small restaurant. Inside I think it works that way, especially downstairs. But the outdoor area is quite large and we sat outside very comfortably. The service was quick and friendly. We had various cold and warm starters. It was very delicious. Especially the pepper cream, the calamari rings and the rolls filled with shrimp were great! The white wine was super tasty. Was the 1st of the 3 white wines on the menu ☺️ Be sure to reserve. Parking garage right around the corner.

We actually wanted to experience a nice, relaxed Sunday evening with friends here in a cozy atmosphere... ...but unfortunately this was not the case. The food was average and the starters were overpriced for the quantity on offer. My main course (stuffed pointed peppers) simply tasted like tomato sauce. The service was incredibly bad - we always had to order bread, wine, etc. ourselves, otherwise we would have been left with empty plates and glasses. After dinner, the dirty plates were left at the table in front of us for over an hour. Nobody cleared away. We sat outside - inside the restaurant the dirty plates were piled up on the tables like mountains of rubbish. We had to ask for the bill six times before we were "allowed" to pay - we waited more than an hour for the bill. There was no excuse for this, on the contrary. Only a total amount was given and the individual dishes ordered were not read out. In addition, we did not receive an invoice, although we were obviously charged by the owner. I can't recommend the restaurant because of the food or the service. I have rarely experienced being treated so disrespectfully and unprofessionally as a guest in a restaurant.

The food has regressed a lot compared to a year ago: 1. The portion of calf's liver was reduced by half; 2. Last year there was a Turkish girl waitress who was very good; this time there was a very thin black waitress with a bad attitude who made things difficult for the customers.

Wolfsbarsch, immer im Ganzen bestellen, damit er saftig bleibt. Hier vom Grill und etwas zu lang auf dem Rost gelegen, doch noch ohne auszutrocknen, zu 25,20 Euro geht so in Ordnung. Syrah zu 7,70 Euro pro Glas (alle Weine ähnlich) ist schon eine sehr ambitionierte Preisgestaltung. Da wären 5,50 Euro bereits mehr als gut bezahlt. Wie immer mittlerweile ist auch hier Wasser ein viel zu teurer Spaß. Der gastronomische Merksatz, "du wirst arm gefressen und reich getrunken", trifft eben zu.

The service tried hard, but was a bit overwhelmed with the number of tables (changing number, approx. 8 guests). As the last guest at the table, an attempt was made to add the outstanding amount of the entire table to my bill. However, it is not the last guest's job to ensure that the previous table guests are paid correctly.

There were two of us and we were looking for a place outside. The waiter was extremely helpful and attentive. After a short wait we got a seat outside. The food was good and the waiters were all very attentive, extremely polite and friendly. We had a wonderful evening.

Food was good, service was unfortunately very bad. Waitress hardly gives any attention and is very slow. Glasses were dirty. We pointed out the dirty glasses a total of 3 times and exchanged them. They don't learn to check the glasses 3 times before they bring the customers there. Price performance isn't right either. Very unfortunate!

I think it was a good attempt to show that Turkish cuisine is not just about döner and kebab. The food is not bad as far as we tried. However, in my opinion, there are some points that need improvement. 1- It is not a good approach to greet customers by saying "your reservation is only for 2-2.5 hours" as soon as they arrive at the venue. Moreover, although the staff member said that this was written at the time of reservation, when we checked, we realized that such a warning did not appear in the reservation confirmation. 2- In a place that tries to offer a kind of "fine dining" service with white tablecloths, it would be better to display wine/raki on the table while serving alcohol. It is a positive element that the customer is shown the raki he ordered, especially in the menu where there are 5 types of raki. 3- There is a discrepancy in raki prices and wine selection. So, raki presentation etiquette is known as "single 4cl" or double 8cl. However, the venue gives a measurement of 2cl and 4cl, almost the same as whiskey. cl was given low, thinking that it might not be suitable for the German palate. But shouldn't the pricing be accordingly? 4 cl of new raki 5.5 EUR ??? I think asking 5.5 EUR for the simplest Yeni Raki, which you can find in any market for 16-18 EUR per bottle (70cl), is excessive pricing. Besides, this price is over 4cl. With straight calculations, the bottle price comes to 96 EUR, which is a very unnecessary Price / Performance ratio for this type of raki. There is also quite excessive pricing for other types of raki. 4- I haven't tried the wine, but when I looked at the menu, offering 0.2cl of Yakut-Doluca for 7 EUR is nothing but outright ripping off people, especially in Germany, where you can buy very good wines in the market for 5-10 EUR. Moreover, if this price is to be maintained, much higher quality / delicious wines can be brought and promoted from Turkey. I don't think it is right to do this with the oldest TR wines sold in the 3.5-5 EUR range at Sergros. As a matter of fact, it would be better to give those who come here and do not prefer Raki the chance to choose a slightly higher quality wine. 5- As for the food quality, among the ones we tried, only the fried liver was okay, the calamari was a little bit like string. 6- The service staff were very friendly.

If your looking for a quick trip to Turkey and back this is the place. Aside from a decent selection of Raki they also serve Efes which I found very interesting. The waiters were very kind and attending. For dinner I ordered meatballs "kasap köftesi" which was great. Next time I'm there I'll definitely try the vegeterian dishes. A small point to mention is that the closer to the kitchen you are the worse the ventilation gets, if that a thing that bothers you ask for a table accordingly.

The Mezze is particularly characterized by its excellent cuisine. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The price-performance ratio is also good, but you have to expect higher prices, which are definitely justified by the delicious and varied dishes. However, the portions could be a bit more generous. All in all, a very nice restaurant that I can definitely recommend.

A very pleasant location, even if the space next to the kitchen is not recommended. We should have listened to previous reviews about the beetroot salad - it wasn't homemade. However, my intolerances were taken into account. And the octupus and the souffle for dessert were delicious. A great Turkish restaurant far away from the kebab shop. Das Mezze überzeugt leider nicht! Die Vorspeisen sind gut - aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Die Hauptgerichte sind etwas lieblos auf den Tellern arrangiert - das kann man mit kleinen Handgriffen sicher besser machen. Die Hauptgerichte sind eher alltäglich - ich denke mal, dass jeder Hobbykoch das auch so hinbekommt. Getränkepreise sind oberstes Preisniveau! Das schlimmste aber, ist die Inneneinrichtung: wir saßen im Kellerraum mit einem überdimensionierten Kronleuchter, ohne Fenster, eingezwängt und gegenüber dem Toiletteneingang. Dieser verströmte einen irritierenden Geruch, der schwellweise während des Essens zu uns flog - widerlich!!! Ich würde empfehlen, das Mezze im Sommer zu besuchen, wenn es draußen Plätze gibt.

A mega restaurant! The atmosphere, the food, the people - everything 10/10. The decor is so inviting, the vinyl music is so warm, the dishes are so lovingly prepared. Our evening here was very nice and relaxed. This was more than just dinner, this was a little trip to Turkey. ♥️

Ein rundum gelungener Besuch im Restaurant 'Mezze'! Das Essen war nicht nur geschmacklich herausragend, vor allem die Rinderleber hat mich positiv überrascht – ein Genuss für die Sinne. Das äußerst freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal trug maßgeblich zu einer angenehmen Atmosphäre bei. Das gemütliche und geschmackvolle Ambiente rundete das Erlebnis ab. Definitiv ein Ort, an dem man die türkische Küche in entspannter und stilvoller Atmosphäre genießen kann. Sehr empfehlenswert!

We went to this restaurant with friends after we became curious about My Local - Your Local. It was reserved for 7 people, but there was only room for 6. And the space is pretty tight anyway. Otherwise the furnishings seem quite nice and authentic. Except for me, everyone ordered starter(s) and main course(s), I only wanted 3 starters and we specifically said that I would have these 3 starters together with the others' main courses. Ultimately, first the cold starters came, then the warm starters and then the main courses and that's exactly what we didn't want. 1 dish was completely missing, the other dishes were ok, but some had little to no seasoning, the sea bream was too dry, the dumplings were burnt and really fatty, the salad was too sour, etc. We were more than disappointed. Since we weren't even asked if we liked it, we couldn't offer any criticism. Our conclusion: We weren't all satisfied and expected (much) more, especially since the prices aren't cheap. It's a shame, it's a place with potential, but we won't be coming back.

Little Turkish gem in the heart of Nuremberg! If you want to get away from the monotony of the often very industrial and quick kebab cuisine, you should come here!! Great atmosphere in a small space with a mega ambience!!

Wir sind spontan hierher gekommen und haben noch einen schönen Platz bekommen. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Service ist auch sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten uns mehrere Vorspeisen geteilt und alles hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und war ausgezeichnet. Kleines Manko: wir hatten den Platz neben der Küche und dem Grill, daher haben wir den Geruch etwas abbekommen. Gerne wieder.

Sehr gastfreundlicher Empfang, sehr netter und bemühter Service, auch wenn es schon sehr spät war. Das hat unseren Abend gerettet, weil alle Restaurants im Umkreis schon die Küchen geschlossen hatten. Nicht hier. Und das Essen war durchweg fantastisch. Ich hätte gerne noch viel mehr der Mezze probiert, aber meine Begleitungen hatten weniger Kapazitäten..! Wir waren allerdings froh unten zu sitzen, weil oben relativ laute türkische Musik lief - wenn auch von Vinyl! Cool aber laut :)

Bereits beim Eintritt in das Lokal wird mal vom Chef persönlich sehr höflich und willkommen empfangen. Die Getränke und das Essen wurden bestellt und zügig an den Tisch gebracht. Dabei waren wir 5 Leute und hatten insgesamt 6 kalte & 2 Warme Vorspeisen, 1 Fisch-Hauptgericht und 2 Deserts. Getrunken wurde Raki und Aperol Spritz. Alles ist sehr schön und mit Liebe angerichtet. Die Speisen sind für dem Preis & die Location preistechnisch her angemessen, man ist befindet sich ja hier mitten im Herzen Nürnbergs. Das Essen ist von sehr hoher Qualität, man schmeckt durch und durch, dass hier hochwertige Lebensmittel für die Zubereitung verwendet werden. Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Bei dem Rote Beete Salat ein bisschen mehr Liebe reinstecken und keine bereits vorher eingelegte Rote Beete verwenden, sondern diese selbst zubereiten, das bekommt ihr auch bestimmt 1000x besser hin, liebes Restaurantteam. :) Ansonsten hatten wir einen fantastischen Abend im Mezze Nürnberg und wir kommen schon sehr bald wieder! Ein schönes, kleines Restaurant mit ganz viel Atmosphäre. Das Mezze wurde mittlerweile zu einem unserer Lieblingsrestaurants in Nürnberg und wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier her. Der Service ist super freundlich und das Essen wirklich hervorragend. Als Vorspeisen bzw. „Tapas“-Fan kommt man hier voll auf seine Kosten, vor allem der Oktopus ist ein Genuss. Wir verbringen hier gerne gemütliche Abende mit Freunden und Familie und lernen die authentische türkische Küche weiter kennen.

Die Location ist gemütlich authentisch und gleichzeitig modern. Der Service ist stets unaufdringlich, sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und geht auf Wünsche ein. Das Mezze zeigt eine sehr schöne, leckere Seite der türkischen Kulinarik, abseits des Döners. Ich persönlich stelle mir sehr gerne einfach nur eine Variation an Vorspeisen zusammen und greife überall zu - Mezze eben! Wir kommen gerne jederzeit mit Freunden und Familie!

Perfekt! Liebes Nürnberg du hast soooo viel Glück so ein schönes, zuvorkommendes und leckeres Lokal zu beheimaten. Ich war heute das erste Mal in dieser zauberhaften Einrichtung. Moderne trifft auf Türkei. Die kleinen Speisen „Mezze“ auch genannt sind als Vorspeise und für zwischendurch das beste was man nehmen kann. Ich habe gleich mehrere bestellt und jeder Wunsch wurde uns mit einem freundlichen Lächeln entgegengenommen und ohne zögern erledigt. Die Hauptspeisen sind groß und die Preise sind völlig Okay für diese Qualität. Ach ich könnte hier noch 5 Minuten schreiben aber ich empfehle jedem mal dieses kleine Lokal zu probieren. Seeehr gerne wieder liebes MeZze Team. Bitte so weiter machen!

Kleines aber feines Restaurant. Wir haben eine Auswahl an kalten und warmen Vorspeisen gehabt. In Anbetracht das man nicht in einer Imbissbude sitzt fanden wir die Preise in Ordnung. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Das Lokal ist klein, aber fein und strahlt orientalischen Flair aus. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und teilweise sogar etwas übereifrig, was jedoch trotzdem sympathisch war. Wir haben uns ein paar kalte und warme Vorspeisen geteilt, welche wirklich sehr lecker waren! Auch die Haupspeisen waren lecker, jedoch für den Preis relativ klein und für meinen Geschmack zu dezent gewürzt. Wir werden trotzdem sicher nochmal vorbeikommen, um uns durch die Vorspeisen zu testen :)!

kleines, sehr lebendiges restaurant mit seeeeeeehr nettem service und gutem essen. die küche ist winzig, es kann also ein wenig dauern, bis die gerichte fertig sind. deswegen mehrere vorspeisen bestellen, raki und efes dazu und entspannt den abend genießen…

Kleines Lokal mit sehr schöner Atmosphäre. Es gibt viele kleine Vorspeisen und einige Hauptgerichte. Hier wird mit Liebe gekocht - die Gerichte waren sehr fein abgeschmeckt.

The friendly waiter found us a table for ourselves if we could eat in 1½ hours, as everything was really busy. No problem - and we ordered some exciting dishes. After a long wait we got the starter. Delicious fried prawns on a bed of salad and cut meat into tiny strips. Both dishes tasted terrific. After more than 45 minutes of waiting for our main courses (and it was close to the end of our 1½ hours) we asked for our food. The waiter said it would only take 1 minute. Of course it didn't fit, so he came back and made up the bill without explanation or apology. Maybe also because I had said very loudly that it was a scandal with the long waiting time, which all the nearest tables gave us right in. As everyone had waited an extremely long time for the food. Shame as what we got was really good.

Sehr leckeres Essen, sehr netter Service

Die Location an sich, das Ambiente und die Auswahl an Gerichten ist wirklich toll! Die Zubereitung der "türkischen Tapas" ist frisch und was für's Auge. So weit so gut. Die Aufmerksamkeit des Service war anfangs sehr gut, doch mit zunehmender Besetzung der Tische war er überfordert. Das zeigte sich dadurch, dass zum Beispiel bei einer Nachbestellung von Getränken das leere Glas nicht abgetragen wurde oder ein Gericht erst gar nicht serviert wurde. Auch das Abtragen der Teller fand praktisch nicht statt. Vom Geschmack her hatte ich mir etwas mehr authentische türkische Aromen erhofft. Für meinen Geschmack war es "etwas fad" - ist aber natürlich Geschmackssache.

Spontan im Internet gefunden und ausprobiert, nette zentrale Location, sehr schönes Ambiente, traditionell aussehendes türkisches Mezelokal, Gab es bis dato so nicht in Nürnberg, hat aber gefehlt. Sehr leckere Speisen, überraschend schnell serviert, sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal, jederzeit sehr gerne wieder !
