Mezze Nürnberg in Nürnberg

Heute, nach meiner Ankunft in Nürnberg, beschlossen meine beste Freundin und ich, hier zu Abend zu essen. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir waren mit dem Service rundum zufrieden. Ich möchte jedoch ein paar konstruktive Kritikpunkte anbringen: Wir bestellten Buttergarnelen und gebratene Leber. Ich habe beides schon in anderen Restaurants gegessen und kann die Aromen daher gut vergleichen. Allerdings fand ich beide Gerichte übermäßig ölig und dadurch recht schwer. Normalerweise esse ich sehr gerne gebratene Leber und wollte sie deshalb hier unbedingt probieren, aber sie hat mir nicht ganz zugesagt. Zum Nachtisch bestellten wir Milchreis; der hat mir gut geschmeckt, er war leicht und lecker. Ein weiteres unangenehmes Erlebnis war, dass heute anscheinend Dreharbeiten im Restaurant stattfanden, weshalb wir draußen sitzen wollten. Während wir dort saßen, wurden ständig Fotos und Videos von Leuten um unseren Tisch herum gemacht, und auch die Angestellten hielten sich häufig im Bereich hinter unserem Tisch auf. Die ständige Anwesenheit der Leute um uns herum und ihre Gespräche so nah beieinander haben uns etwas unangenehm berührt. Vielleicht könnte man das in Zukunft ändern. Die angenehme Hintergrundmusik und das stimmige Ambiente machen den Aufenthalt besonders entspannt. Das absolute Highlight ist natürlich das Essen: Die Auswahl an Mezze ist beeindruckend und bietet eine wunderbare Vielfalt an Aromen und Texturen. Jedes Gericht wird frisch zubereitet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail angerichtet. Von cremigem Hummus über perfekt gewürzte Fleischgerichte bis hin zu raffinierten vegetarischen Optionen – alles war geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die Qualität der Zutaten: Man schmeckt die Frische und die Authentizität in jedem Bissen. Auch der Service verdient großes Lob. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und kompetent. Man wird herzlich empfangen, gut beraten und während des gesamten Besuchs bestens betreut, ohne dass es aufdringlich wirkt. Sonderwünsche werden problemlos berücksichtigt, und man hat jederzeit das Gefühl, als Gast wirklich geschätzt zu werden. Die Wartezeiten waren angenehm kurz, selbst bei gut gefülltem Restaurant, was zusätzlich für eine sehr gute Organisation spricht. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut fair für die gebotene Qualität und das Gesamterlebnis. Hier bekommt man nicht nur ein gutes Essen, sondern einen rundum gelungenen Abend. Fazit: Das Mezze gehört für mich definitiv zu den besten kulinarischen Adressen in Nürnberg. Ein tolles türkisches Restaurant inmitten der Nürnberger Altstadt. Die Bandbreite an Vorspeisen ist sehr vielfältig und geschmacklich hervorragend! Der Service ist äußerst zuvorkommend und stets sehr freundlich. Als Gast fühlt man sich hier wohl. Sehr empfehlenswert! 👌 Das Restaurant besticht nach dem Umbau zudem auch noch durch eine Auswahl an sehr delikaten Gerichten! 😋

Wir haben Mezze nach der Renovierung besucht. Das Erlebnis war mit der neuen Speisekarte und dem neuen Personal sogar noch besser. Die Inegol Köftesi sind ein absolutes Muss! Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass sie so gut schmecken würden (wie in der Türkei 😀). Wir waren innerhalb einer Woche zweimal dort! Ich hoffe, das reicht, um Mezze zu empfehlen.

Das Essen dort ist köstlich. Ich mag die türkische Küche, aber hier schmecken die meisten Restaurants nicht so gut wie in der Türkei. Es sah klein aus, war aber innen größer als erwartet. Ich wollte es trotzdem ausprobieren und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Mezze waren super, besonders Ciğer Kavurma hat mir geschmeckt.

Ich war gestern nach dem zweimonatigen Umbau wieder in diesem Restaurant und muss sagen: absolute Enttäuschung. Vor dem Umbau war alles wirklich gut, aber jetzt stimmt leider gar nichts mehr. Der Service war unaufmerksam und wirkte komplett überfordert. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass niemand so richtig weiß, was er tut. Das Essen war ebenfalls nicht überzeugend – geschmacklich eher durchschnittlich und den Preis definitiv nicht wert. Am schlimmsten war aber die Speisekarte: sehr geringe Auswahl und viele Gerichte waren einfach nicht mehr verfügbar. Für ein Restaurant ist das ein absolutes No-Go. Insgesamt ein riesiger Rückschritt im Vergleich zu früher. Ich werde so schnell nicht wiederkommen

Gute türkische Küche, Ausgezeichneter Wein. Sehr eng - unser zugewiesener Platz war viel zu eng. Wir haben dann uns im freien platziert (im November!) ist auch etwas überteuert!

As a Turkish person, I can confidently say that this is not reflective of our service culture. Please consider hiring staff who align better with Turkish service standards.

I visited the Meze restaurant in Nuremberg and was absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere is very pleasant – tastefully decorated, with beautiful instrumental music in the background, making it easy to have a great conversation. The service is excellent: The waiter, Cagla, was very friendly, attentive, and the service was top-notch. The food was also impressive – the dishes arrived quickly and tasted excellent. An all-around wonderful experience – I would gladly return and highly recommend the restaurant!

I visited the Mezze restaurant and was thoroughly satisfied. The atmosphere is very pleasant, modern, and cozy at the same time. We were there twice last year and were absolutely thrilled—I emphasize "were"! We made a reservation last week for 6:00 PM today for two people for my birthday, and they confirmed that our seats were guaranteed right at the entrance. We arrived today and were greeted very rudely at the entrance and told us to sit in the back corner of the basement. After we politely asked them to do so, "the ladies" told us that it was uneconomical for our restaurant to accommodate two people at a table of four and that we should choose another day. We've never experienced anything like this before, anywhere! We will never set foot in this place again and will, of course, mention it to our large circle of friends.

Mr. Çağlar acts like he can do everything himself, and the process is incredibly difficult :( The order taking and service process are especially disgraceful. Only go if you have the patience to not crack :( You have to look really hard to find walnuts in the Gavurdagi; it's not even close to what I'm used to. The pastrami hummus had a reddish tinge to it. Unfortunately, the staff is not treated well :( The fried calamari and shrimp were quite good. IF YOU WANT TO DRINK WINE WITH A GLASS OF WATER, DEFINITELY GO THERE

We visited Mezze Nürnberg for the first time today and were thrilled. The food and the raki were of high quality. There were two of us and we even ordered the calamari and octopus twice because they were simply excellent. We would especially like to praise the young waiter, who was extremely attentive and courteous. The manager (?), who took our money at the end, was also very friendly – as was the young waitress. The food was served exactly as we requested, with pleasant breaks between courses. Conclusion: We seem to have found a new favorite restaurant!

Our visit to Mezze in Nuremberg unfortunately got off to a somewhat bumpy start: We had to wait about five minutes at the entrance before being noticed and greeted by the staff. One downside was the strong smell of food in the entrance area, which was a bit too overpowering. Better ventilation would have been desirable here. Mezze offers a nice selection of hot and cold tapas. We opted for three cold and three hot mezze – the quantities were well-balanced. Some of the dishes were delicious. Some dishes lacked the refinement and artisanal finesse to justify the rather high price. The bread served was particularly disappointing, as it was clearly a ready-made product – we would definitely recommend opting for fresh bread from a local bakery to meet the culinary standards. On the positive side, the wine selection was well-matched and would have rounded off the evening pleasantly – if it weren't for the lackluster service in the cellar area. As the evening progressed, the service staff was barely present. We had to actively request more drinks or refills, which unfortunately significantly marred the otherwise hospitable experience. Clearing the plates could also have been done more quickly to make room for more dishes. Overall, the mezze has a lot of potential: the stylish decor, the relaxed atmosphere, and the fundamentally good idea of Turkish tapas are promising. If service processes are optimized, the culinary standards are sharpened, and the price is more closely aligned with the quality offered, mezze can become a real highlight in Nuremberg's gastronomy scene.

Buena comida turca. Buen servicio. Cerveza embotellada no borrador, pero ITes Efes! Compartimos hummus, que era encantador muy suave y luego ambos tuvieron kofte, todo estaba delicioso.

I was disappointed when the side dish for my grilled chicken was changed from rice to potatoes. Perhaps an additional specialist in the service area would be the solution! The sea bream fillet, which didn't live up to its name, confirmed the unsatisfactory impression. Not only the small bones on the edge of the fish, but also the very large, thick bones testified to a lack of precision in this price segment!

Several dishes were already out by 6:30 p.m. The dishes were good, but far too small for the high price. Unfortunately, I did not have a positive impression of the staff. In particular, the situation we had with an employee when we entered was quite disturbing. When we asked him if there was room inside, he said very rudely: "No, there is only room here!" He replied: Later, while going to the WC, we noticed that there were tables downstairs. Preislich ist es schon nicht günstig, aber gut.

Nice restaurant in the old town of Nuremberg. The menu is varied. We ordered mezze to share, so you should allow for 3-4 dishes per person. The service is friendly, but could be a little more attentive. the price/performance ratio is rather high.

The decor and ambience were successful, but the service made the stay unpleasant. You constantly feel restricted due to the overly regulating behavior of the waitresses. These are often inattentive and slow; If you ask questions you are asked to wait in a disrespectful manner. You are not allowed to go to the bar yourself to ask about the missing drinks, even though the food has already been served for 15 minutes and the drinks and ice cubes are missing. The waitresses seem overwhelmed. The food itself is average, and the Turkish dishes don't really live up to the descriptions. It was suggested to me by the waitress that it was not okay and tasteless to order bottled water instead of tap water (which is free!!!), as raki is usually drunk with tap water. However, this statement seems quite nonsensical to me. It's a shame because we visited the restaurant on a recommendation. When I asked who the operator was and if I could speak to him, I was told that if I had any comments I should contact the staff, otherwise I would just have to wait?! I am unsure whether this is in the operator's interest. What should be highlighted positively, however, is that the crew in the kitchen (the only ones who spoke Turkish) were extremely friendly and helpful…

Hello, Unfortunately, we were disappointed during our visit to this restaurant. Our warm starter was brought to the table at the same time as the main course. We ignored that, but unfortunately the warm starter and our main course were completely cold. The waitress apologized and was very polite. However, we noticed that all the tables around us had the same problems. The food tasted delicious, but because it was completely cold, it wasn't worth the price. In addition, we had to wait a long time for further orders, drinks, clearing of the plates and the bill. That was the case with quite a few guests that evening. It's a shame, because otherwise I've only heard positive things about the place. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm it and cannot recommend it based on our experience. Sorry :(

Tasty Turkish restaurant in Nuremberg.

We went to this restaurant for the first time. We ordered starter, main course and dessert, everything was very tasty and nice. Above all, the staff in the restaurant were very nice to us. For a nice, quiet evening after work, or for a birthday party, etc. Very suitable. Especially if you want to enjoy a nice evening in peace with delicious food and a nice ambience.

It's very sad to start by saying "unfortunately", but you cook such delicious food that you made me feel like I was in a dream, but unfortunately, when I was only there, I think the fact that you think that 2 service personnel will be enough for a group of 60 customers causes all the customers to wait at least 25 minutes for any need, for example, I want bread. I waited 15 minutes to ask for it so I could continue my meal, I think you need to add a few more staff to your team to provide a better service. But I doubt the accuracy of any negative comments about the taste.

Mal representante de una excelente cocina. Este lugar no merece la atención de los clientes. Meze no es solo comida, sino una filosofía turca y el acompañamiento complementario al raki. La calidad de la mesa meze es media mientras que el servicio y trato a los clientes es un desastre absoluto. El dueño de este restaurante necesita someterse a una educación gastronómica y sobre todo cambiar su arrogancia por la amabilidad y la empatía.

The Mezze in Nuremberg is located in the most beautiful location in Nuremberg. It's a lovely place to sit and end a summer evening in particular. The food is good too. Therefore, one would think that the basic requirements are already in place. Unfortunately, as I have experienced myself and heard from many others, the service is non-existent. We were there with a larger group and at first we weren't served at all, then in a bad mood and reluctantly, half of them were forgotten and even after politely asking where the food was, the service continued to ignore us. At the end we even said that the food was delicious, but that we would have liked better service given the prices. But then we were just brushed off. All in all, Mezze is a good restaurant. But I personally wouldn't go there again if I got that kind of service.

Ich bin wirklich kein großer Kritiker und habe absolutes Verständnis für die Situation des Personalmangels. Aber das war gestern die absolute Katastrophe. Es fing an, dass bei der Hitze das Bier und der Weißwein NICHT gekühlt war und im Weinkühler kaltes Wasser war. Die Begründung: zu späte Lieferung…hmmm. Der Chef rannte den ganzen Abend wie ein aufgeregtes Huhn durch die Menge. Von einer schönen Atmosphäre leider nichts zu spüren. Das Essen haben wir komplett anders bekommen als bestellt. Die Begründung: Küche ist überfordert. Alles ok, aber dann bitte nicht alle Reservierungsanfragen annehmen mit der Rücksicht auf das Personal und natürlich die zahlenden Gäste, die höchst unzufrieden das Lokal verlassen. Wir waren übrigens ein unzufriedener Tisch von vielen. Schade für das wirklich sehr geschmackvolle Lokal, wenn das Essen wirklich minderwertig ist und dem Preis nicht angemessen.
