The food was okay overall - the beyti tasted particularly good, while the rest of the meat was okay but nothing special. The starters were solid. Service and ambience were fine. You can do it.

The food is delicious and always top quality. The products are well labeled and the price matches the offer.

I ordered a kebab plate and a kebab to take away last night. We ate it at home and noticed that the meat wasn't raw in many places. Unfortunately half of it has already been eaten. We had stomach pains and cramps all night long and unfortunately that goes with it...

I've been there more often in the past, but recently (2024) I had the impression that the service and food quality had deteriorated somewhat. I may be mistaken too! Definitely always worth a visit when your stomach calls for Turkish cuisine!

It's incredibly dirty, counters, chairs, tables, floors, there's a hectic, restless, sad atmosphere everywhere. Never again.

The food tastes very, very good. If you go on the weekend, you can expect it to be very crowded. However, you can wait on site and will be assigned a place as quickly as possible. The waiters are all always super nice and accommodating. You are also served salad and bread at the beginning. Highly recommended as a meat lover!

Even though I didn't have a reservation, they helped me. I ate lamb wraps and blanch and it was amazing. Mr. Orhan is a very attentive waiter, I recommend him for his taste and attention.

The place is not that big but not that little. The food prices are ok, not the worst but also not the best. The food is, however, very tasty! Things are fresh and originally Turkish. I can recommend this place for a chilled meeting with friends, nothing fancy but more of a familiar place. And that's very nice to have!

It's minus -3 degrees outside so we thought we'd go to Mevlana's and have some soup in the morning and warm ourselves up. Where we went in we noticed that it wasn't any warmer than outside. When asked, the calf man said that they don't turn the heater on (they don't use it) Okkkeyyyy,,, why not? I also noticed that many guests were sitting there with jackets. We got up and left the restaurant.

There are problems with them every time, that's really not normal. I asked them if they could turn on the heater because it's minus two degrees and it's so cold in the store, but they said no. Last time we were there we complained that the food was cold - even then they just argued. Never again and would not recommend

Waiting for food service and a seat takes away your appetite

Bad, dry meat with loveless, tasteless side dishes. This restaurant only benefits from the location and few alternatives. Doesn't deserve the prizes. The service is very unfriendly and you often have to ask.

Is there any mixed grilled doner meat? I'm kidding. I gave two stars because of the workers, which were actually 5 stars.

Wegen hohen Andrangs mussten wir erst etwas warten , wir waren 6 Personen. Es hat sich gelohnt. Zuvorkommende Bedienung, sehr gutes Essen, angemessene Preise. Am nächsten Morgen waren wir dann gleich nochmal zum Frühstück dort. Auch da gab es eine große Auswahl an Speisen und auch reichlich. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit allem. Teşekkür ederiz!

A great restaurant that is highly recommended. The food is authentic and there is something for every taste. The service is extremely courteous. The location is clean and you feel super comfortable. Would you like a quick trip to Turkey? Then you've come to the right place.

This was my second and last attempt at this restaurant. I had a pide with cheese for €9.90! Unfortunately, it didn't taste that good and getting full was out of the question given the small dimensions.

Good place to eat with your family! I tried Etli Ekmek. It was very tasty! The place gets very crowded after 5pm.

The soups we ordered were very cold. When we asked them to heat them up, they forgot the soups and it came boiling. The doner kebab on the plate was also ice cold. We couldn't taste and enjoy the food.

Street sales are still possible because of the price, otherwise everything is the same in terms of gastronomy, waiters and table prices.

Unfortunately the worst Turkish food I ate in Nuremberg. The starters (meze) were probably all canned goods. Unfortunately, the main courses aren't any better either. We just had dinner, we ordered from the bearded guy with a cloth tie on his head, we said hello at first, he didn't take it, he saw us enter, he didn't react!! We were looking at the people coming and going, hoping that maybe someone would ask for it, no one said anything, we sat down, a card was thrown in front of us, the man with the beard who took the order said, "Hi, it's not there again in the morning, what do you want?" He went, brought it according to his wishes, took it down and left again.

This is our favorite Turkish restaurant in Nurnberg. Having lived in the TRNC for nearly 10 years we recognize quality Turkish food and without any doubt Mevlana serves the best Turkish food in Southern Germany

The Mevlana Restaurant is a must when I'm in Nuremberg. Authentic Turkish cuisine of the best quality. Unfortunately, prices have now risen sharply, and portions have been reduced in proportion. Still very good though.

I had dinner at Mevlana today. After I ordered, my food arrived at the table piping hot within 5 minutes at the latest! So microwave! I asked the waiter if the food had been heated in the microwave, which he said no. But it was clear that the food couldn't get that hot in a pan in 5 minutes! So I was lied to! I ate the food anyway out of politeness, and shortly afterwards I got a headache! I never have a headache!! Why am I writing here now? 1. Because I don't go to a restaurant to eat microwaved food, 2. Because microwaved food is harmful to my health! Many people don't believe this, but microwaves are now banned in Norway, Japan, Russia, and from 2025 also in China and Korea!! Why: because irradiating food with microwaves creates carcinogenic substances in the food! In addition, microwave food negatively affects blood values, which can be measured after just 10 minutes!! Even though I was always polite and always tipped well, I was lied to and served sick food! I was in this store for the last time today

Iskender served with turkey meat, table ignored for an hour. Never come back. Apparently the owner has nothing better to do than just stand around at the entrance.

After a long time I was eating here again and I like Köfte, Adana and Konya Pidesi, tastes excellent, the waitress Violetta is absolutely fabulous, very respectful and her approach is very pleasant and personable, she makes and completely fulfills the wish of other colleagues take as a role model. If I wait 48 minutes for a cold kebab, one star is even too much

Gestern spät Abends noch einen Tipp von der Rezeption bekommen. Da ich noch ein wenig Hunger hatte. Sehr empfehlenswert, guter und schneller Service, gutes Essen, freundliche Mitarbeiter. War um 23 Uhr auch noch gut besucht.

Went there to eat after a long time and unfortunately I have to say that the grill plate wasn't that good. The chicken wings should have been grilled a little more as they were a bit raw. Bulgur and rice were very mushy and not cooked well. You also have to expect some waiting times. The service was nice, but the price was too expensive for me.

Delicious food and very reasonable prices

Good Evening Zafer, I was at a table for five people. We bought 3 Döner Plates, 1 Ottoman Pan, 1 Children's Döner Plate, 2 Cokes, 1 Ayran and 1 Eistee. 1. Osmanı Pan was cold (we said this to the tall goatee gentleman and the gray haired gentleman in the blue shirt) 2. The remaining 3 dishes arrived 15-20 minutes later, so my food, which was already cold, turned out to be ice cold. 3. I was told, "Okay, sir, we'll fix it right away." Well, my same plate came back super fast (and we told the last employee that the preparation took 15-20 minutes, how can the plate I sent back come to the table 3 minutes later) 4. When the 3 dishes arrived, there was a hair on one of the plates (and as a defense it was said that the weather could fly in the wind) and the Döner Yabağı, which we waited for 15-20 minutes, came back at a super speed, it didn't even take 2 minutes and to be sure, I hid a tiny piece of napkin under the meat on one side of the dish and He picked up the hair on the napkin plate and sent it back again. 5. Children's Plate was ordered as Fried Potatoes but it came with rice! We said no problem and were told we would bring it right away! We had finished our meal, but the potatoes still hadn't arrived, we reminded them again, and the potatoes had arrived 🤣 of course, we were already full🤣 6. Also, it would be great if you could provide training to your service personnel for the products delivered (excuse me or excuse me and present them without disturbing the customer. The lady had to pull her head back after eating) 7. We paid a total of 78:90€ 8. We don't need it, but being told "let's buy you a tea" after all these problems doesn't suit such a well-established place, at least an apology and a treat will be given. 9. We asked for the bill, it took 10-15 minutes, the friend we asked for the bill said immediately, "Yes sir" 🤣 he never came, we got it from the next staff member we caught and we paid.

I regret not paying attention to the negative comments. Döner was like boiled meat and tasteless. The prices are too high for this taste. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Unfortunately the rice was so soggy and the bread, which I was really looking forward to, was cold, old and rubbery. Isn't that usually toast? I hope that for once it was just bad rice cooking and not that it had gone bad. Very unfortunate.

Demanding 18.90 euros for the food in the picture is a bottomless audacity. It's clear to everyone that food prices have risen, but raising the prices and at the same time reducing the portions/side dishes is something you should really be ashamed of. What kind of portion is that supposed to represent in the picture? Maybe mini mini mini??? I'll never go there again to eat pure rip-offs and nothing else!!!

Food was quite nice, service terrible in rainy days, waiter do not watch after client. I had to wait 15 minutes for menu and then I stand up to ask for it and for the tea 10 minutes I tried to make eye contact with waiters and guess what I stand up to ask for the tea as well. A little suggestion(you can put heaters outside for better experience of clients)

The kebab plate (veal and lamb) was really tasty. The vegetarian dish my companion was apparently also very tasty. The ambience corresponds to expectations and is completely fine. The service was very friendly and accommodating. There was free tea. Price performance overall really great! We'd love to come back. Thank you for good hospitality.

The restaurant run by Turks is usually very busy, it is the place where you can find halal meat.

Last night around 1 o'clock, 11 of us decided to have soup after the wedding. We went to Mevlana and went in. The waiter said that even though it was 1 hour before closing time, they were going to close and that they could only make takeaways. At that moment, I think it was the owner of the business. When he saw us, he called the waiter and said something, and the waiter told us that we could sit. We ordered soup and doner. The lentils stuck to the bottom of the soup. There was a burning smell. There was no taste or salt in the tripe. There was a tasteless sauce. The only thing left was the doner chicken. It was good anyway. It was a well-designed establishment, but the service was 🤔🤔🤔🤔

The best meals are eaten at Mevlana. It's your family's restaurant. I recommend it to everyone.

The food arrived extremely late and cold. The menus are much smaller and less satisfying than they appear. Especially the rice portions are very small. I ordered the mixed grill and the chicken wings were too small. I do not recommend coming when it is busy.

To get a kebab for €5 at the current price explosion, which still tastes good and has plenty of toppings, it's worth taking a little time and writing a review that makes it worth it For me it's currently the tastiest in nbg.

Staff is friendly. The food is always delicious, especially I think the fish season (every Tuesday from September) is great! The owner is always on site and a person of heart. At the same time, his staff also looks after his customers. Nothing to complain about. Always my pleasure!

We often went to Mevlana for breakfast and everything was perfect. Today we had dinner with friends and I'm disappointed. My grilled meat was bad, either raw or burnt. Iskender tasted bad and the service was also bad and simply boring.

Despite multiple and unmistakable references to my allergy to cucumbers, my order (two falafels) still contained cucumbers. This is absolutely unacceptable. I paid €15 and couldn't eat the food because of the cucumbers it contained. Such disregard for customer wishes and allergies must not occur and I expect appropriate compensation.

We like to eat here. I've noticed lately that lamb doesn't taste like it used to. Maybe fewer spices were used or older meat that tasted intensely like an animal.
