Very courteous staff. Breakfast was very appealing and delicious.

I was there on Friday with six other people and ordered lahmacun, which was delicious. When we wanted to pay, we had to wait too long. Three employees just looked at us, but no one came over. I then paid by card. I hadn't had a drink, but today I saw that instead of €5.90, I was charged €11.80, which was double. Afterward, we went next door, and one of us ordered a drink for €2.20. She waited a very long time and then talked to one of the waiters about not having it, which I can understand because she had to leave. As she left, another waiter came. We explained to him that she wasn't having the drink anymore. He then said that he had walked all the way to get it, had already opened the lid, and what should he do with it now? So I finally took the drink. In short, the waiters are kind of annoying.

We went on Sunday. We ordered mixed appetizers, beyti, and etli ekmek. The food was superior to many restaurants. Only the beyti used rapsöl. It had a dominant flavor because I wasn't used to it. But the meat and lavash were delicious. The waiter was very friendly.

We discovered it spontaneously and had a fantastic meal. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Thank you for the lovely evening.

I was at Mevlana Restaurant today. I usually like it there, but today after dinner I wanted to eat rice pudding, but there were tiny hairs all over the rice pudding. I asked for a replacement. I got the same thing, but worse. I ate a piece despite having hair, and it had a bad taste. So I thought: If there are so many hairs in the rice pudding, who knows what else is in the food? Mevlana? Never again.

The food is really good but you wait about 30 minutes and the waiter is very nice.

Wow, today we tried the mixed grill for two, and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was perfectly grilled and incredibly juicy. Now I understand why this place is always packed with guests 🔥

Food here is really good, always fresh, nicely prepared and delicious. Portions are fair, flavors clean and ingredients taste okej. However, don’t expect a “gastro experience” in the sense of atmosphere, plating or storytelling. This is not a place where you linger for hours, but rather where you come for a quick and satisfying meal. Perfect if you want to eat well, without fuss and continue your day.

There are also people who like their kebab topped with onions. At Mevlana, however, they didn't serve onions as a side dish, which I consider a major drawback, as is the unfriendliness. It's like an assembly line there, and the waiters don't have time to have a normal conversation with customers.

Unfortunately, the chicken skewers arrived raw, it was the same the last time I came, unfortunately, they have compromised on quality in recent years, but instead the prices have increased.

I have been a customer of this restaurant for more than 20 years, and it has always been one of my absolute favorites. The food is still very tasty, in my opinion the best Turkish restaurant in Nürnberg and the surrounding cities. However, over the past year I’ve noticed some changes. Prices have increased — which is understandable — but at the same time portion sizes have decreased significantly. For example, the Mixed BBQ Plate used to be one of my top dishes, but now each kebab or piece of meat is about 30–40% smaller than before. While the count of items is the same, the size and weight are clearly reduced. This makes it a bit disappointing, since even after ordering one of the more expensive dishes, you may still leave feeling hungry. Overall, still a great and tasty restaurant, but I really hope they reconsider the portion sizes to match the quality and pricing that have kept me coming back for more than two decades.

Customer service is nil. I waited for minutes for my order to be taken. A particularly thin waitress approached me, said "just a minute," and left. She ate her food in the corner and didn't even bother to come to me. This is a service industry. If you're having trouble, don't do it, and don't tarnish the company's reputation.

A Turkish restaurant with delicious grills. The food is very tasty. The service, especially Anna, is excellent. I call her the bee of the restaurant. Honestly, she is friendly, cheerful, and quick. Thank you to her. The restaurant opens late, and that's the good thing about it, especially since you are in Europe. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The prices are better than the rest of the restaurants next to it and around it.

We ate and drank together at the Mevlana restaurant in Nuremberg. There was no standard greeting, no Merhaba, no "Guten Tag," or warm welcome. Arrogant, grumpy staff. We felt unwelcome; there was no attention. They didn't even ask if we enjoyed our meal. We will never visit the restaurant again!

I ordered a "pepperoni" pizza and was very disappointed. Instead of a classic pizza with spicy sausage, I got a flatbread with cheese and green peppers. When I asked, the waiter assured me it was "pepperoni." Only later did I realize that the word "peperoni" on the menu was borrowed from Turkish and means "spicy peppers" – not the spicy meat sausage (salami pepperoni) that one expects in a classic pizza. This misleads the customer. The cheese was the cheapest, greasiest, and most flavorless. The dough didn't resemble an Italian pizza base at all, but rather a rolled-out doner kebab with cheese sprinkled on top. It had little to do with real pizza. Turks can make excellent kebabs, but they'd better not experiment with Italian cuisine. If you like real Italian pizza, you'd better go straight to an Italian restaurant.

Loved the atmosphere in here. Food was great and the staff was very kind. Ordered what seemed like a small dish which turned out to be a full meal! I feel like the prices were a bit high. Otherwise highly recommend this place! Better with friends/family.

We ordered the meblana mixed grill, a chicken soup, and two lahmacun for three people. All were truly delicious and well-presented. The three of us were absolutely stuffed. The döner kebab, pilaf, grilled dishes, and especially the chicken wings were delicious. Including drinks, we paid 99 euros. That's 33 euros per person. As a tourist from Türkiye, I wasn't sure if it was expensive or cheap. But we were satisfied. Thank you.

Very, very tasty. I'm from Duisburg. If you want to eat hearty Turkish food, you should go to North Rhine-Westphalia. We paid almost 60 euros for a little rice, bulgur, and a couple of kofte for two people, including drinks. We weren't full at all. Too expensive for a small portion, sorry. Otherwise, it was tasty. But in general, I found Nuremberg and that area expensive for small portions.

We stopped for dinner on our way back from Türkiye. The meat in the cubed pita had a bad smell, the kebab was terrible, the döner was dry and tasteless, we really did not like it.

I went there with my family and we ordered the following: Manti tasted like nothing and had way too much yogurt and too little sauce. Pide with minced meat was okay. Doner kebab was okay. Lentil soup was okay. Sütlac was too runny. Ayran was good. Unfortunately, the restaurant isn't clean. Starting with the sticky salt shaker, the sugar shaker with a wasp in the glass, a hair on the oil jar on the table, the floor wasn't swept—let alone cleaned. The toilets are also dirty. Even if the food is okay, you don't feel comfortable and are disgusted. The service was very nice, which is why it only gives it 2 stars.

When we were traveling abroad and feeling tired and exhausted and craving soup, it was one of the Turkish restaurants we could find, and the food was delicious. It was also located near the old town, and there were other Turkish businesses in the area.

Whenever we come, we are always satisfied and recommended. The staff are friendly and know their job, what more could you ask for? Clean, fast, friendly.

We went to Mevlana on my brother's recommendation. It didn't disappoint. The food was delicious. As a Turkish person, I'm familiar with Adana, and these were already rated at the top. The other dishes were also very appealing. We also had a starter platter for three people, and everything was also very tasty and plentiful. The sarma, however, wasn't homemade; it looked like it was machine-rolled. The atmosphere outside was nice, right on the street, but that way you get that big city feeling. I would definitely come back on my next visit.

There was very little on my plate. In my opinion, the prices are far too high for what's on offer. So, you'll only get full if you eat everything with bread. That wasn't the case in the past.

I was there yesterday after a long time and had a pide followed by a doner kebab. The pide was a good pide, just like everywhere else (you can't go wrong). When my companion and I got a doner kebab, we couldn't continue eating because of the doner kebab skewer. It was so awful! When I asked the waiter about it, he said it's always so dry here because it's veal and I might want turkey. I didn't really mean it and agreed that the veal might get a bit of freshness from the turkey. It ultimately only made it worse, so I left my doner kebab as it was, except for the one spoonful of rice that came with it, which I ate. I thought it was a shame that they still charge their customers the full price and leave the restaurant hungry.

My colleague and I came here for Turkish food. For starters, we had lahmacun and pide – they tasted okay, but nothing special. We both then ordered a doner kebab plate. Unfortunately, it was a bitter disappointment: The meat was extremely dry and tough, and the rice was so sparse you could count the individual grains. We spoke to the waiter about it, but instead of offering a solution or an apology, he simply said, "That's how it is with us." That doesn't seem customer-oriented or hospitable. In the end, no one even asked us if we enjoyed our food – even though our plates remained almost untouched, and we knew exactly why. Conclusion: The price-performance ratio was not justified, the service was unprofessional, and the food was disappointing. We certainly won't be back.

I spent a fantastic summer evening there from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. I was completely loaded with meze, iskender, and to finish it off, baklava. I'm from North Rhine-Westphalia myself, and I have to say this place was really great.

We stopped for breakfast at Mevlana on our Italy trip. It was delicious and filling. We tried everything. Tea and coffee were free. The service, flavor, and atmosphere were top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive. The restroom was spotlessly clean. For a family of five, 50 Euros was a great price for us. We ordered a mixed breakfast for two, cheese gözleme, spinach gözleme, lentil soup, tea, and coffee, and we asked for boiling water for our thermos for the road. They provided it without hesitation and with a smile. They didn't even keep us waiting for our orders. We were very pleased. If we come back to Nuremberg, we'll definitely stop by. ❤️

UNHYGIENIC AND DISRESPECTFUL I recently went to buy a kebab from a street vendor. While waiting in line, I noticed that the employee preparing the kebab was also taking the cashier's order without washing his hands in between. Another employee was handling the bread with his bare hands and was tapping away on his phone at the same time. Hygiene? None of that! When it was my turn, I politely asked the employee to please wash their hands before making my kebab. His response: "I can't wash my hands after every customer." But that's exactly what I expect when you work with food, or when you have someone who regularly works at the cash register; so many other kebab shops manage it, especially when money has been handled beforehand! 🤢 Instead of understanding, I got only defiance. He refused and instructed his colleague to make my kebab. He, too, had been on his phone beforehand and had wristbands on his wrists—a no-go in any kitchen! I tried again to politely point out the hygiene regulations. The response: I have a dog on a leash, so my hands aren't clean either. A completely inappropriate and disrespectful comparison. I'm not behind the counter and don't touch food, a basic knowledge that one should expect. Then I say I could have said it politely, didn't I? I asked politely, but then they got rude and insulted me and my dog, and I'm not polite anymore. What I experienced was not only unhygienic, but also customer-unfriendly and rude. There are clear regulations regarding food handling, and they were ignored here. Customer service? Trash can. Hygiene? Even worse. I strongly advise the owner to train their staff. This was certainly the last time for me, and I will inform those around me accordingly. There are plenty of kebab shops where cashiers and preparation are separate. Not here. Sad.🤢 This is a case for the health department. Anyone who works like this knows what's going on behind the scenes. It's disgusting and disrespectful.

We had a delicious Turkish meal; it was packed with Turkish people, which is a sign it's good. After dinner, we received a complimentary glass of Turkish tea. This is highly recommended if you're in Nuremberg.

The best Turkish restaurant in Germany.

Although it's located on a busy street right next to Nuremberg's Plärrer, the quality is very high. It's one of my favorites when it comes to oriental food. It wasn't my first visit, and it certainly won't be my last.

Unfortunately disappointing: The food today was not convincing. The doner meat seemed undercooked, which significantly diminished the enjoyment. The ayran was served to us in a small, rather damaged container, while other guests apparently received it in a glass – which seemed a bit careless and inconsistent. The container was also damaged and broke inside the cup. It's a shame, because we were actually looking forward to the meal.

We stopped by for dinner with my wife. It's a good place for Nuremberg. Everything was delicious. It's more affordable than the restaurants in the area. It offers better service. The owner and staff are very friendly. Everything was great. We recommend it.

They make kunefe with margarine, and I ate a spoonful and left it. I've never eaten such bad kunefe in my life.

It had a strangely bad taste that I couldn't identify, and the fat used was extremely low-quality. For an hour now, I've still had that taste of solid fat in my mouth... Not even the waiter asked why I didn't eat it – they could have at least asked why.

It used to be a restaurant we enjoyed going to a few times, but the service wasn't the same as it used to be. If you're ever in Offenbach, stop by Nazar Kebap beforehand (appetizers, salads, etc.) and afterward, you'll see the service even though there are more tables. The wait time for the food is long. Especially the last time we ordered an ice tea, I had to go downstairs and get it myself. It was incredibly different for a place that claims to have Konya between meat and knives. I think they should just write "pide with bird's basil".

A mega restaurant. We're Konyali and miss our roots. We were invited to a wedding in Nuremberg and spent the day at the hotel. After a long Google search, I discovered this restaurant. To my parents' surprise, I reserved brunch. We received an incredibly warm welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was perfect. So beautifully decorated, so traditional and welcoming. Lots of photos of memories. Both floors are well-maintained and clean. The restrooms are very, very clean. Parking is available, with a parking garage right outside. The quality and quantity are excellent. The food tasted great, was fresh, and prepared with great care. The price range was also mega. I can recommend it to everyone.

Two years ago, we visited the Mevlana Restaurant shortly before our flight from Nuremberg Airport. We treated ourselves to a quick bite to eat. Because of this, I've now returned from Bielefeld for the second time.

We tried the Iskender kebab because it had been highly praised in the reviews. It was quite filling and served in large portions. We loved it. When we arrived around 4:00 PM, almost all the tables were full, so we were lucky enough to find a seat without waiting. We were very pleased with the service; our orders always arrived on time. Everyone at the staff was very attentive.

Beans and rice with meat are wonderful, even water is Turkish water, prices are reasonable, they also offer Turkish tea.

We went there for breakfast and ordered "Serpme Kahvaltisi." It was a hearty breakfast with fries, sucuk, olives, cheeses, melemen, etc. The bread we received in the basket wasn't enough for us, but we received more free of charge upon request. What I missed was the tea. Tea is served in a large cup, which is also refilled free of charge upon request. Restaurants that serve Serpme Kahvaltisi usually serve it in a large pot, so you can refill your tea as you see fit. Some people just drink their tea faster and generally drink more. In my opinion, that should be changed. The staff was friendly and definitely accommodated your every request, BUT you could also tell from the outside that they weren't really in the mood to do that. The plates we were given weren't particularly clean either. Would I come again? Yes, if management addresses the points mentioned and changes or corrects them.

Things couldn't get much worse. I ordered a mixed grill for dinner. There was no Adana kebab to be found. Most of it consisted of burnt chicken. When I asked, I was told that the platter was delivered as is and that Adana kebab wasn't included. The chicken soup I ordered in advance was greasy and flavorless. Even the salad could be bettered by any kebab shop – it was watery and bland. Overall, it was a real disappointment. Even the tea was undrinkable. I can't understand how anyone can still call this a restaurant. I left everything. At the checkout, they didn't even ask why I had barely eaten anything!

Overall, the food was really very good. The side dishes were also delicious and perfectly complemented the meal. All in all, a highly recommended visit.

You have a great position in Nuremberg, don't ruin it with poor quality and disinterested employees.

Even sitting at the open window for a quick kebab is a drag, which wasn't the case before. Especially the guy who makes the kebabs is extremely slow.

We also had to ask for the sauces that we had specially ordered because they simply didn't bring them. In the end they said they couldn't resubmit it. The service was really poor, the staff was unfriendly and uninterested. I really advise anyone who goes to this restaurant to be careful because they don't bring you everything. You have to constantly chase after people to get what you ordered. For me it was definitely the last time - absolutely not recommended.
