If you like “real” Turkish food, you should definitely take a look here. The restaurant is directly connected to the CAN supermarket. It is quite hidden in the former industrial area behind the well-known southern barracks. I've been eating here for years. The restaurant has its own bakery and the meat is grilled on a fire grill. There is no kebab here! Everything is freshly prepared. You can also eat very cheaply if you have the delicious lentil soup with bread. I can also particularly recommend Gözleme. It is prepared directly in the dining room in front of the guests. You almost feel like you are on the Bosphorus. The restaurant gets a clear recommendation from me! Unfortunately, the opening times of the restaurant are tied to the supermarket. Unfortunately it ends at 8 p.m.

If you want to eat something different instead of kebab without placing any value on quality service but just want to eat well and be full, you can do so. But otherwise… everyone should decide for themselves

I keep trying one place after another without being biased. However, I have to say that I always prefer to come to the Can Restaurant because everything is perfect here. The waitresses are always nice, courteous and attentive, something I have often experienced differently. The food, no matter what it is, always tastes 100% and is a pleasure for me. On top of that, the price-performance ratio is unbeatably affordable. And at the end you always get a delicious cup of tea to round off the day. What more could you want, keep it up, thank you.

We had ordered tea which was forgotten and of the two bottles of water we ordered, one of which we preferred unchilled, both were served unchilled. Although these are small things, they are important for a restaurant that wants to run well. It's unfortunate that the service here is so poor. The food, however, was better. I had very fresh chicken on my skewer and my friend had Beyti. We paid around €20 per person, value for money was great.
