The food was truly delicious! We were supposed to stop by on a long drive and continue on to Poland; we're so glad we stopped by this restaurant; it was a perfect fit. We'd especially like to thank Chef Gökhan for his attentiveness and hospitality. He took excellent care of us, even having our pitas prepared for our journey before sending us off. If I ever find myself in this direction again, I'll definitely stop by again.

"Homemade ayran tasted like it was expired." The meat was okay, the bread was dry and stale. At the end, they served cay on the house, and it tasted like it was 10 days old. An absolutely terrible experience.

On the recommendation of a colleague, I went to the CAN supermarket. While it's not spectacular in this segment, and the prices are above Edeka, it has very friendly staff and a great selection of spicy pastes and spices, which was what I was looking for here. The selection includes—in addition to Turkish, of course—the usual German and a good Asian selection of pickled vegetables, noodles, spices, and pastes, as well as a large selection at the service counter. Unfortunately, jalapenos and habaneros are only available pickled. About the restaurant, the main topic: As a diabetic, I was a bit low on sugar, so I went to the CAN restaurant after shopping—and it was a positive experience. Sure, you could say this type of restaurant isn't unique, but I have only positive things to say: 1. The staff is fast and attentive. My service was extremely friendly, and considering it was my first time there, I felt less like an anonymous guest and more like a regular. I can only hope you're earning well, because good staff is the restaurant's calling card and image. 2. The appetizer arrived almost instantly. You don't get the impression that the ingredients had been prepared for a while; on the contrary, everything seemed fresh and crispy. It was just before closing time, and the flatbread was still perfectly fine. Two waitresses paid attention to me and brought the main course (the 30) in a timely manner, just before I finished the appetizer. (I hope I didn't seem too greedy; I had eaten quite a bit because of my low blood sugar 😏). The poultry was crispy but not overly so, well-seasoned, and the side dishes were cooked to perfection. The garlic cream is amazing. I even got a portion to take home upon request, which I enjoyed again later at home. Admittedly, the white breads, including the flatbread, are a bit suboptimal for diabetics, but I'll allow myself that much sin once in a while. I also enjoy Greek food, but the cuisine of our geographically neighboring Turkish dishes won me over again yesterday, thanks to the chefs' excellent craftsmanship and the super friendly service. This included a truly sincere apology that they were out of latte coffees at such a late hour, and the coffee was also good; at most, it could have used one more bean 😊. Considering that I only wanted to raise my blood sugar, I was able to relax there, unwind from the stress of shopping after a long day at work, and enjoy a good meal. Many thanks to the team – I'll be back.

This morning, we chose your restaurant again for breakfast. We've been happy to visit your establishment many times before, but unfortunately, due to our negative experience this time, we don't plan to return. Despite previously raising similar complaints, the failure to take the necessary precautions has created the impression that customer satisfaction is not sufficiently valued. The attitude of one female employee, whose name was "B," in particular, was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. The harsh way orders were placed on the table and her generally indifferent and rude demeanor disturbed us. Despite raising the issue with other waiters several times, we received no constructive response or attention. Furthermore, the employee in question's constant presence at the counter, laughing loudly with several other employees, and yet approaching us with a negative attitude further deteriorated our overall experience. We want to believe that you are a business that values ​​customer loyalty and satisfaction. The portions were generous and the taste was truly excellent. However, I'm deducting one star because the waiter was unfortunately not very friendly.

Even 1 star is too much. You have to walk in and wait for 15 minutes to get a free table, but the staff with their heads down gives the table to the customer who came after me. You end up being wrong when you're right and you lose your money.

Four of us went to eat yesterday, and it was delicious. Depending on your preference, you can sit inside or in the conservatory. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food we ordered arrived very quickly, and we didn't have to wait long. We were offered Turkish tea after our meal, which rounded off the meal perfectly. All in all, I highly recommend it. From what I could see, they offer grilled specialties from the charcoal grill. And they also serve fresh gozleme made to your liking for breakfast. There is plenty of free parking available.

We love coming here; it's one of the best Turkish restaurants in Nuremberg, and you can also pick up a bite to eat. It's usually very crowded and can get loud, but the food is delicious. Our favorite dish there is beyti. There are plenty of parking spaces, but on Saturdays it can be difficult to get a spot, as the restaurant and supermarket share a large parking lot. Nevertheless, we always love coming here to eat.

The food was delicious, as always. We usually order the same thing: Etli Ekmek, Işkembe Corbası, and Ayran. Unfortunately, the service spoils the overall impression: Our full soup bowls were cleared away even though we were still there, and even our black tea at the end was cleared and the table wiped without even asking if we were finished. This seems very rushed and puts pressure on guests who want to eat comfortably. It's a shame, because the food is excellent. However, the service clearly needs improvement.

We went there for dinner in May with two band friends. We had a gig in Neumarkt and two guest bands from Finland. Almost 15 people, unannounced, were served perfectly and quickly. Pretty bad! It used to be better, but now it's very bad. Some of the food wasn't cooked through. The rice was hard and undercooked. The salad was very stale, brown, and poorly washed (full of dirt). The meat was okay. But unfortunately, the service is poor and the restaurant is very dirty. The tables are just smeared with a dirty rag. I wanted a high chair (also very dirty) and asked the waiter to clean it. Then he takes the rag and wipes this disgusting chair and then our table *yuck! In general, the tables, the cutlery, the high chairs are all covered in dirt and grease. The waiters are some guys who unfortunately have no idea about cellar management, cleanliness, or decency. Menus are just thrown on the table, the guys are very "rebellious" among themselves, and as soon as you say something, they get angry and uninterested in serving/working. The restrooms are also barely accessible! Due to the shopping opportunities and the low prices, this store is quite busy... but I've seen customers leave several times... (because it's so dirty).

The food was fantastic and delicious; I really enjoyed the quality of the food. The meat in the kebab and shashlik could have been prepared a bit more tenderly, as it was difficult to cut even with a knife. I wish they wouldn't serve the dishes as two-in-one dishes to save on dishes. The ambiance was interesting; I especially liked the ladies who baked the bread. The waiters' behavior was respectful. One of the waiters accidentally touched our lemonade and spilled it; we were immediately offered a new one at no extra charge. A few points to keep in mind are good: Place spoons and forks in a separate container on the table and don't leave them on the napkins, as spoons and forks fall onto the table when using the napkin, which is unhygienic. Provide napkins in a napkin holder and don't just place them on the table, again for hygiene reasons. It would be nice to have a place to wash your hands before eating.

I was generally pleased with everything I ate. Especially the kunefe was very nice. There was haydari, spicy ezme salad and green salad as a treat, they tasted good but the garlic in the haydari was high enough to raise blood pressure. Even the garlic in the haydari was surprising. Apart from that, there was the same haydari instead of yogurt in Beyti, so I couldn't eat it, it should have been yogurt, it also says so on the menu, I also couldn't understand whether it was the sauce or the kebab, but it was spicy, these may seem like simple things, but there is a certain standard in the food, everything that changes should be asked to the customer because I can't eat spicy or garlic. Other than that, everything was pretty good.

The best Turkish restaurant in Nuremberg. I have eaten there several times and have always been satisfied. The only downside is the toilet, which is often very dirty.

I celebrated my henna evening at Can (not in the restaurant but in the event hall upstairs, but it's not on Google so I have to rate it that way). The music was a disaster. The “DJane”, who is probably the owner’s sister, demanded €500 for playing terribly and not responding to any requests. Strangely enough, she asked me for a playlist days before and didn't play a single song from it (except the opening song). I asked her several times and when I asked her she said “that she couldn’t just play other songs in the middle because she had to adapt to the mood of the dance floor”. I approached her three times and was visibly annoyed. So it was really catastrophic. After all, I'm the bride, it's my henna evening and there are no songs being played that the DJ asked me for days in advance and that I spent hours picking out? The service was also very unprofessional. It was discussed in advance that we would bring cakes etc., the owner knew this. But we weren't told that we had to bring our own plates. This was kept secret from us and when the cakes were ready we were told that they couldn't provide us with plates. At our request, plates were kindly provided to us, but it was still unnecessary stress at the moment. When we come to the staff; I heard from my guests that the plates were not cleared and instead my henna evening was looked at as if they were guests. When asked to bring over a napkin, the staff said “just get it from the next table.” That's unprofessional. For decoration: it was decorated in white, even though it was known that it would be a henna evening. There was still something positive; the food from the catering was delicious. However, overall I am very dissatisfied. It was clear to me that I was annoyed, especially because of the music. A henna evening is a unique experience. If you want to collect €3,300.00 for 100 people, you should rely on decent staff and maybe not have your own sister DJ, dear Can team.

A real culinary delight in the Can restaurant! My visit to Restaurant Can was an overall positive experience and I can only warmly recommend it to everyone. I was particularly impressed by two dishes that I would definitely like to highlight: The lentil soup: From the first spoonful it was clear that this was cooked with a lot of love and skill. The lentil soup was incredibly delicious, creamy and full-bodied in taste. It was perfectly seasoned and had a pleasant, filling consistency. A real treat and definitely one of the best lentil soups I've ever tasted! It was just the thing for a chilly evening and warmed me from the inside out. The meat dishes: I was also absolutely impressed by the selection of meat dishes. I had the opportunity to try a dish (unfortunately I didn't remember the exact name) and the meat was super tasty and incredibly fresh. You could literally taste the quality of the ingredients. It was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy, and the side dishes were also very tasty and well matched. The presentation on the plate was appealing and rounded off the positive overall picture. In addition to the excellent food, I would also like to praise the friendly and attentive service. The staff was very accommodating and always tried to make us feel comfortable. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and inviting. Conclusion: The Can restaurant is definitely worth a visit! If you are looking for a delicious lentil soup and super tasty, fresh meat dishes, you will definitely not be disappointed here. Today, when we were in Nuremberg for the consulate, we came to this place with my wife to eat hot pancakes, but we were very disappointed. Unfortunately, we paid 42 € for 4 pancakes and 2 ayran (definitely not worth it), and then a short, artistic waiter told us to wait, so we waited, thinking that he would give us hot food. Anyway, if I didn't come in and show up, we entered as if this was news to me, he gave it to us, we bought it, and we set off for (1) hour. But when we opened it, it was cold as ice... It was probably not fresh at home... My wife and I were very upset, we felt sorry for both our money and our time...

The food is amazing…. It's really hard to find restaurants that do this good even in Turkey. I don't know how the chefs cook the food. And I wholeheartedly congratulate the kitchen team. I have never eaten such delicious soups anywhere else in my life. Hand on heart, best Turkish restaurant in Nuremberg. Price/performance 10/10 compared to the rip-off prices and disgust factors at Mevlana and Cesme. Get your goods from our own butcher's and bakery 6 meters away, you can't get any more fresh than that. Small appetizers are usually included for free. Where else do you often want to see Haydari and Ezme with bread from the day before yesterday for 8 euros each. I think it's very correct of the owner not to make such faxes. Tea is usually free too. Everything was just very generous and no kidding. Hope it stays that way. Unfortunately the shop is only open until 8 p.m., I think it's a shame but there's probably no staff left. There is no alcohol on the menu, which I think is a good thing, otherwise there will never be a free table. Almans should simply avoid the store during peak hours in the evenings and on Saturdays or, optionally, have a lot of patience. I have already observed many funny culture shocks here. The small shop has what feels like 2000 visitors every day and now the new university is coming there too, so just respect the excessive demands on the waiters, you wouldn't have it any other way in the job. Even the new robot waiter has already thrown everything away. I have to say that in all these years no waiter has ever been aggressive, disrespectful or unfriendly.
