Very friendly and courteous staff. It was our first visit and we immediately felt like regular guests (family). Food was a perfect size and both the taste and doneness were on point! The yogurt sauce is second to none. The dessert didn't miss anything either. All in all a perfect evening and certainly not our last visit!

My first time in Sumach in Nuremberg on the recommendation of my Nuremberg colleague. Should actually be a good tip. First the good; A very inviting ambience with a great atmosphere on a high level. The food was visually very inviting but tasted way too salty. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Recommended Very, very good in all respects

When we sat down we noticed that the windows weren't cleaned properly. Afterwards a man came and chatted at us even though my mother only asked one question. While he was still talking he screamed at my mother. The bread was completely dry. My friend and I didn't think the service was that good but it was okay. I wouldn't recommend the Sumach Special because it costs something like €25.90 per person and you can't order it individually, there has to be at least 2 people. When the food came it looked nice but what we didn't understand is that they put pistachios on almost every meal, for example on the rice and meat. There was little bread and rice for 3 people. What we also didn't understand was that potatoes came with the meal (in my opinion, potatoes don't belong on the grill) and that they put salad under the meat. You should actually put the salad individually on a plate. The food didn't taste that tasty, no salt at all, no nothing. After I ate I also found a small hair in my food and I know it's not mine because I have long hair. When I said that and looked at my plate, they said it was parsley, even though they were still looking with the flashlight. They didn't want to admit that I was right because they saw it. That was food, it's not real grilling, it's done on an electric grill because when a restaurant does it with a real grill you can taste it and the restaurant didn't smell like a real grill either. The restaurant is too expensive in my opinion and service, food was not good.

Delicious food and very stylish restaurant

Nice restaurant, the service was friendly and attentive. The food was okay too. However, I don't think the prices are justified. It's standard Turkish cuisine and the portions are really small. Even as a woman you can't get enough of it.

The food is ok, but nothing special, there are much better Turkish restaurants in Nuremberg. The staff is nice and attentive until you order. After dinner we were no longer noticed. The restaurant is a bit more upscale but unfortunately they can't deliver the food.

We came here via the gourmet block/coupon book. I've driven past many times and thought this would be something... finally we were there. Service was super nice and accommodating. The food came super quickly and was really, really tasty! Portions are large, so you'll feel full. It was nicely prepared and well seasoned. The atmosphere is also pleasant and modern. We will definitely come back! And then hopefully we can manage a dessert too 😉

I can recommend the restaurant with full conviction. The food was delicious (although some was spicier than expected) and there is also a good selection for vegetarians. A huge compliment also goes to the waitress, who gave us great advice and had a very friendly atmosphere. You could tell that she enjoys her job.

Great new discovery! There were 5 of us there with the gourmet block. Despite the gourmet block, friendly service, especially outstanding thanks to the young lady who was extremely friendly and attentive to the guest 🙏. The outdoor area has a view of Rosenaupark. You feel like you're in a little oasis in the middle of the Plärrer, which is actually a terrible place. Inside you can enjoy a very attractive and elegant atmosphere. Sometimes exceptional Turkish dishes, such as: the warm cucumber soup - a culinary delight. The only limitation was the prawns, which were prepared very oily. They are also a frozen product, which for me personally changes the taste and consistency to the detriment. For me, fresh scampi would be more consistent with the otherwise high-quality offering. But that's a matter of taste. Sometimes the flatbread was served warm and crispy, which I also find unusual, as I have never found the soft and "flabby" flatbread very tasty, but unfortunately it is usually offered that way. For me that would be an enjoyable addition if the flatbreads were generally served warm and crispy. But otherwise just a wonderful place with friendly people and a delicious and exceptional range of food. We will come back! 😋

We were there for dinner today and wanted to watch football. Food arrived cold and portions were small, although prices were slightly higher. Bread wasn't fresh either and meat dishes were almost all prepared the same and all tasted the same. It was terrible and a waste of our money.

Ordered a mixed kebab plate. Only consisted of minced meat and chicken. Usually you also get a cutlet or steak with it. None. The court should actually. Adana with chicken is called. Skewer was very dry and salty. Rice was served as a side dish and was also not edible. Sprinkling pistachios on everything didn't make the dish any better. For a lot of money you get snack bar quality. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. Too bad for the money. You are attracted with a little fire and show, but unfortunately the rest is of poor quality. Price-performance ratio poor.

Absolute disappointment, way too overpriced and it didn't taste that good either. Waiters slam the cutlery on the table, my cola was lukewarm and when making the reservation they said that the shop was full and that you should hurry up, when you arrived half the shop was simply empty! (When breaking the fast on a public holiday) Never again!

I have often been a guest at the Sumach restaurant and have always had great enthusiasm. The dishes are always a great pleasure. Personally, I am a big “sumac” fan, whether as a spice in a delicious salad or the local restaurant. The nice lady in service deserves an additional star for her friendly and courteous manner.

We were very disappointed with the service! As soon as the voucher book was shown, the boss was very unfriendly and said that the kitchen is overloaded, it will be full tonight and we should hurry up with our order. Even though we didn't even have the menu... We were also talked out of dessert with the same reason: the kitchen doesn't have time. The portions are not big and quite expensive. The only good thing: the food tasted really delicious. We definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend the restaurant

We researched it on the internet and found the reviews to be good. We paid 143€ for a meal for 3 people (well done), but the price performance is also questionable. If you want warm water, it is cooked in the microwave and served in a hand-burning bottle. It burns your hands. We asked why it is so hot and we got the answer: "Because it is a glass bottle, it is hot on the outside but warm on the inside." Iskenderi was nice, served in a glass with no acid in it. The baklava was tirt, the kunefe was homemade and delicious... recommended. The staff were nothing but quick But if Abi cared about his customers like he cared about his friends at the next table, it would be a place that would deserve five stars 😉

Very nice local, but the kitchen service wasn't good at all. There were ingredients on the dishes that weren't on the menu. The second course came before the starter and the meat was left in the kitchen and became dry. My wife and I will certainly not return to this place.

Sehr schöner Ort, aber viele Probleme mit Service und Küche. Die Speisekarte ist sehr verwirrend. Nicht alle Zutaten, die in dem Gericht vorkommen, sind notiert. Für Allergiker ist es wirklich sehr gefährlich. Das Fleisch, das wir aßen, war sehr trocken und der Hauptgang kam vor der Vorspeise, weil diese vergessen worden war. Schade, aber ich glaube nicht, dass ich wiederkommen werde!
