Super tasty food, very nice staff, highly recommended.

I can recommend the restaurant with full conviction. The food was delicious (although some was spicier than expected) and there is also a good selection for vegetarians. A huge compliment also goes to the waitress, who gave us great advice and had a very friendly atmosphere. You could tell that she enjoys her job.

The Sumach restaurant offers a beautiful indoor ambience that invites you to linger. It's fine outside, but not quite as appealing as inside. The staff was nice and friendly, which made the visit pleasant. The food was good and impressed us. Overall, a recommendable address for a relaxed meal.

Great new discovery! There were 5 of us there with the gourmet block. Despite the gourmet block, friendly service, especially outstanding thanks to the young lady who was extremely friendly and attentive to the guest 🙏. The outdoor area has a view of Rosenaupark. You feel like you're in a little oasis in the middle of the Plärrer, which is actually a terrible place. Inside you can enjoy a very attractive and elegant atmosphere. Sometimes exceptional Turkish dishes, such as: the warm cucumber soup - a culinary delight. The only limitation was the prawns, which were prepared very oily. They are also a frozen product, which for me personally changes the taste and consistency to the detriment. For me, fresh scampi would be more consistent with the otherwise high-quality offering. But that's a matter of taste. Sometimes the flatbread was served warm and crispy, which I also find unusual, as I have never found the soft and "flabby" flatbread very tasty, but unfortunately it is usually offered that way. For me that would be an enjoyable addition if the flatbreads were generally served warm and crispy. But otherwise just a wonderful place with friendly people and a delicious and exceptional range of food. We will come back! 😋

We were there for dinner today and wanted to watch football. Food arrived cold and portions were small, although prices were slightly higher. Bread wasn't fresh either and meat dishes were almost all prepared the same and all tasted the same. It was terrible and a waste of our money.

The taste is good, but you get a children's portion... very disappointing for the price.

Ordered a mixed kebab plate. Only consisted of minced meat and chicken. Usually you also get a cutlet or steak with it. None. The court should actually. Adana with chicken is called. Skewer was very dry and salty. Rice was served as a side dish and was also not edible. Sprinkling pistachios on everything didn't make the dish any better. For a lot of money you get snack bar quality. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. Too bad for the money. You are attracted with a little fire and show, but unfortunately the rest is of poor quality. Price-performance ratio poor.

The adana kebab was precooked and reheated. I was recommended to come here but disappointed by the food. The service was nice and friendly though.

Went to Sumach with friends today. Food 5 stars: Super delicious food. Service 5 stars: The waiter was very friendly and accommodating and helped make it a successful evening. Unfortunately, I also experienced something different in Nuremberg. Ambiance 5 stars: Very pleasant and modern ambience 5 stars from me and we are already looking forward to the next time at Sumach.

Absolute disappointment, way too overpriced and it didn't taste that good either. Waiters slam the cutlery on the table, my cola was lukewarm and when making the reservation they said that the shop was full and that you should hurry up, when you arrived half the shop was simply empty! (When breaking the fast on a public holiday) Never again!

I have often been a guest at the Sumach restaurant and have always had great enthusiasm. The dishes are always a great pleasure. Personally, I am a big “sumac” fan, whether as a spice in a delicious salad or the local restaurant. The nice lady in service deserves an additional star for her friendly and courteous manner.

As soon as the voucher book was shown, the boss was very unfriendly and said that the kitchen is overloaded, it will be full tonight and we should hurry up with our order. Even though we didn't even have the menu... We were also talked out of dessert with the same reason: the kitchen doesn't have time. The portions are not big and quite expensive. The only good thing: the food tasted really delicious. We definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend the restaurant

We went to Sumach for our Iftar with the kids today, the girls were super quick! Soups came as a gift from the company so that we could break our fast in time, which we found super friendly! We love coming here and look forward to it every time.

We researched it on the internet and found the reviews to be good. We paid 143€ for a meal for 3 people (well done), but the price performance is also questionable. If you want warm water, it is cooked in the microwave and served in a hand-burning bottle. It burns your hands. We asked why it is so hot and we got the answer: "Because it is a glass bottle, it is hot on the outside but warm on the inside." Iskenderi was nice, served in a glass with no acid in it. The baklava was tirt, the kunefe was homemade and delicious... recommended. The staff were nothing but quick But if Abi cared about his customers like he cared about his friends at the next table, it would be a place that would deserve five stars 😉

Very nice local, but the kitchen service wasn't good at all. There were ingredients on the dishes that weren't on the menu. The second course came before the starter and the meat was left in the kitchen and became dry. My wife and I will certainly not return to this place.

Sehr schöner Ort, aber viele Probleme mit Service und Küche. Die Speisekarte ist sehr verwirrend. Nicht alle Zutaten, die in dem Gericht vorkommen, sind notiert. Für Allergiker ist es wirklich sehr gefährlich. Das Fleisch, das wir aßen, war sehr trocken und der Hauptgang kam vor der Vorspeise, weil diese vergessen worden war. Schade, aber ich glaube nicht, dass ich wiederkommen werde!

Welch ein Kleinod in Nürnberg für original türkischer Küche. Gemischte Vorspeisen Platte für zwei mit 8 Leckereien gefolgt von einem Lamm Gericht auf gegrilltem Gemüse Bett und einem Kalbsfleisch Spieß in leckerer Tomaten Jogurt Soße auf Brot Croûton's. Letzteres ein Gedicht. Passend ein sehr passender leichter türkische Rotwein. Super freundliche Bedienung. Sehr gastfreundliches Ambiente. Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder.

I'm writing this review having just had my very first bite of my Beyti. This is by far one of the best beytis I have ever eaten in my life outside of Anatolia. The dough is thin and fluffy at the same time. The skewer harmonizes perfectly with the hearty tomato sauce to trigger an explosion of taste buds in the mouth like I have rarely experienced. All ingredients are fresh, everything was made by hand and you can taste it! Sumac Beytis are a pure work of art to taste! Other Turkish restaurants can learn a lot from this, because this place makes the best Beytis in the area!

This is our location for family celebrations. Super tasty food, very nice service and a very pleasant, stylish atmosphere. The seating is generous and the facilities are also handicapped accessible. So also suitable for our oldies with a mobile base. Also very respectful towards our dog.

Unfortunately not as good as expected...the ambience is very nice and high quality, but unfortunately the food was not as expected. The starters were very tasty, the main courses were unfortunately average. The meat was tough and the portions were quite small. The dessert “Künefe” was served almost cold… What a shame

Very nice ambience and even though it was full with very good service and even better food it was beautiful and I would love to come back again and again to eat authentic Turkish cuisine! My friend was so happy that I invited her here! That's the most important thing!!
