Unfortunately, our 1.5 kg fighting dog was supposed to lie on the floor, despite having his own blanket, because the landlord doesn't like that. Our dog is so small, I don't want to expose him to the risk of being trampled to death. We left right away. They have enough customers. Never again.

This restaurant is very nice and has been family-owned for decades, offering excellent, very good food and drinks. The staff and service are always friendly, helpful, and personable. There's a beer garden in the summer, both in front of and behind the restaurant. The restaurant itself also has various beautiful rooms for parties, etc. We really like the restaurant and enjoy coming back again and again. Best regards,

After the walk, we stopped by and had coffee at a place we happened to visit. Although the coffee selection was limited, the atmosphere was enough to make us spend some time there.

The waitress's behavior was very disappointing. We came as a family of five to celebrate a birthday. We are Ukrainians and spoke to each other in our native language, but to the waitress in German. The blonde waitress, about 55 years old, wearing a green dirndl, behaved arrogantly, as if we didn't belong there. After we had paid the bill and were standing outside the restaurant, she came out and suspiciously asked us where the vase she had given us for the flowers was, while staring at our bags(!). However, her colleague had cleared the table, and with it the vase. She didn't even apologize. We were left with an unpleasant feeling. This was the first time we'd experienced anything like this.

Nice Bavarian restaurant wirh many seats inside, and so in their beer garden. Unfortunately, although it was nice and sunny today they didn't serve it but it was nice inside as well. The food was very good, the service as well. Overall a nice location but too bad they didn't serve outside today.

The menu is in German, but you can immediately scan the QR code for an English translation. They offer an à la carte menu or a daily menu, which includes everything on the menu. The dishes are sublime, with generous and tasty portions. The staff knows how to offer the best recommendations. The staff is very kind, fast, and friendly, and makes guests feel at ease. Unfortunately, I have to give it one star to even write something. We ate here today based on the good reviews, which I unfortunately can't agree with. About five minutes after our drinks, the food was already on the table. Which surprised us a lot. My wife had roast pork and I had Wiener Schnitzel. The schnitzel was average. However, the roast pork was amazing. The thick crust was on top and impossible to cut even with brute force. The roast pork was tough, dry, and tasteless, as if it had been in the oven for three days. The two small dumplings were floury and undercooked. By far the worst roast pork we've ever eaten. After complaining to the waitress, who was very friendly, we were told to pass it on to the chef. You could tell the waitress was embarrassed. This was our first and last time eating here. In our opinion, we wouldn't recommend it.

You can only give this place 5 stars...!!! I was there yesterday with a friend, quite spontaneously, I wanted schnitzel, and I got it. The service was super friendly, fast, and attentive. I had a Munich schnitzel with potato salad, preceded by a mixed side salad. The side salad was a colorful mix with a delicious dressing; it was really good. The schnitzel was well-cooked, and the potato salad was delicious; I love it that way. My friend then ordered a Kaiserschmarn (sweet pancake with shredded pancakes), and I got a few pieces. Oh my gosh, I'm telling you... that was the best Kaiserschmarn I've ever eaten. Freshly made, the taste is simply amazing. It's a good place, and if I get to visit Munich again, I'll definitely go back, but I'll make a reservation in advance to make sure there's room.

After visiting the castle, we were looking for somewhere to eat and discovered this restaurant! Friendly and fast service. The menu offers traditional cuisine with good value for money for Munich. The dishes are hearty and tasty, and you can take leftovers home with you thanks to the doggy bags.

This is the best restaurant in Munich in Nymphenburg. We have eaten there so often.

We stumbled upon this historic restaurant almost by accident while leaving Nymphenburg Palace. It was a wonderful experience, one of the best of our Munich vacation. The menu is varied, and we were able to immerse ourselves in Bavarian culinary tradition, pairing our dishes with excellent beer and a homemade rhubarb drink. The waitress who served us was attentive and truly sweet, helping make our lunch even more enjoyable. The prices are average.

Had to wait a long time, but otherwise perfect. Large garden, old-fashioned interior, dirty toilets. Food and beer were okay.

It's a shame to get a seat in an empty space right away on a dreary Monday afternoon, even though there was room elsewhere... I also received a menu immediately, but then it was ignored/forgotten. After more than 20 minutes, when my order still hadn't been taken, I left the restaurant disappointed, so I can't comment on the quality of the Kaiserschmarrn.

No, not recommended. If you serve white sausage with a roll, I wouldn't be surprised if you add a kebab to it soon. It's totally unacceptable! Ever heard of nice, rich, brown pretzels with white sausage?

I had fond memories of the Metzgerwirt, although my last visit was several years ago. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined significantly since then. The cordon bleu was unseasoned, the cheapest ham and cheese, and the fries were limp and lukewarm. The meat was covered in a lumpy flour sauce, with horseradish placed next to it. We weren't expecting this. The friendly young lady serving the food deserves a special mention, but overall, unfortunately, I can't recommend it anymore.

Very unfriendly service, 2 blonde women very rude - one says that there is no toilet for the guests, the other ignores you and is very arrogant. Because of the food, maybe it's better to order salmon because of the German dish... Haxe was just like rubber! Never again! Thank you!

Sowohl im Sommer 2023 als auch im Sommer 2024 passierte mir das Gleiche: Sobald klar wurde, dass ich lediglich auf ein Getränk in den Wirtsgarten einkehrte, war es mit der Freundlichkeit der Servicekraft vorbei. Schade. Ob das wohl an der Nähe zum Nymphenburger Schloß und dessen touristenlastigen Publikum liegt? Ein Schelm, der Böses dabei denkt.
