Beautiful Augustinian with everything you would expect. Attentive service from the landlord. Edelstoff ;), Munich Schnitzel and Bratenröstel tasted good. Gladly again!

Our food was very very bad. Weisswursts totally soggy with no bite, the pretzels even worse. It's an absolute disgrace for a Bavarian economy to serve up something like that. Unfortunately, beer had hardly any carbonation left. I can't recommend it to anyone.

The beer is delicious. The waiter service is not the best. The convenient thing is that it is very close to the train station (10 minutes walking) which makes it a perfect place to wait.

The food is very tasty and most of the staff are very accommodating. But it often takes forever for someone to wander around the tables and see if you want to order something. I would like a little more attention. Except for that, highly recommended.

Friendly service, although there is a bit of a wait before you can place your order. The store wasn't really full. Beer is world class, unfortunately the glass isn't completely full. Food was okay. Slightly dry roast pork.

Totally recommended! Great food, also several vegetarian dishes on the menu. The vegetarian spinach dumplings with rocket and parmesan are highly recommended. The service was super nice and the food came quickly. You can sit outside in warm weather and the sanitary facilities are also very well maintained.

I just ate Munich's best schnitzel and the fries were really crispy. Plus super friendly service and really cool wheat beer, it couldn't be better. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Full marks.

Can absolutely recommend the Schweinshaxn, draft beer on a warm summer night - what could be better. Well located and a good Bavarian restaurant.

Food was good, service was friendly, it was almost full. The volume in the room was so high that you could hardly have a conversation at your own table. Of course, wherever a lot of people come together it is always loud. But it was uncomfortable for *me*. Otherwise everything is good here!

If I order a burger and it's completely raw inside, I don't expect to get a 2 euro discount, but at least not to pay for it... first and last time!!!

Bavarian tavern culture in perfection. The food (mountaineer schnitzel see picture) and the service get full marks from me. It was pretty full so our spot at the bar table wasn't great. All in all worth a visit and I'll definitely be back 😃😃

Not the first time and not the last time I was there. At fair prices there are classic and great tavern dishes and of course the delicious Augustiner. The atmosphere and service are also top.

Had lunch here twice when in Munich for the football. The Schnitzel Munich was great and the potatoes that come with it were fantastic - soft and buttery. The Jager Schnitzel was very nice too. Excellent beer. Nice place to sit outside in the sun.

It's a very nice beer bar with very good food. Cozy and with nice people there. We recommend.

This typical Bavarian brewhouse, located in the heart of Haidhausen, was a delightful find for a great lunch. We sampled the "Munich Schnitzel" and the "Nuernberger Rostbratwürste," paired perfectly with a refreshing "Helles" beer. The combination of traditional dishes and a classic Bavarian atmosphere made for an excellent dining experience.

I can't say much about the food, but the privy is incorruptibly beautiful. Very spacious, green and with balanced acoustics. It's not difficult to feel comfortable here and unfortunately business gets done far too quickly in such an accommodating environment.

I have no idea about food. The sanitary facilities are in an extraordinary condition. Pure love for this bowl. Top!

Food really good, service on point, ambience classic, middle-class. There's nothing to complain about.

Tasteless cheese spaetzle, unsalted and half cold cherry tomatoes on top. Even the balsamic sauce for salad is too thin and doesn't taste sour at all lol

The place is much better than the food. The beer also tastes a bit stale, for whatever reason. But a nice corner.

You can always go there. Sometimes hectic and forgetful but definitely recommended

Rustic Augustinian as you would imagine

The food was very good, the knuckle was very tender, the skin was crispy. The sauce was a bit thin but very tasty. The service was excellent, it was just a little noisy in the restaurant that evening. All in all, a nice visit.

We were there with a larger group and unfortunately we didn't get it all worked out. Sometimes colleagues had to wait up to 90 minutes for their food. The store was full, but perhaps the place isn't designed for larger groups. The food was ok but no reason to come back again.

We've found the staff to be friendly and accommodating for years now. The menu selection offered the usual Bavaria entrees as well as a few burger choices and a grilled turkey sandwich. The quality of all of our choices were above average.

The food was okay, not outstandingly different than other places. However, the service was subpar. Obviously unwilling waiters outside.

I'm rarely there. Beer is of course great. Had asparagus soup today, but wasn't asked what it was like, it was good, but not as good as last year. There it was significantly more and much creamier, today it was more watery. Nevertheless, it's always nice and I'll come back

I don't understand the previous post at all - I was once again very satisfied. Was there at lunchtime, food, staff very good, price/performance too I'd love to come back when I'm in Munich

Top food, nice service and ice-cold Augustiner - what more could you want?

Food is brought to the table quickly, tastes okay, but is only served warm and not hot. There is plenty of seating outside. The big negative point is the service staff: very unfriendly and we didn't feel welcome as guests.

War spontan zum Essen in der Gaststätte, deswegen nur Platz an der Theke. Gutbürgerliche Küche zu moderaten Preisen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Für mich eine Empfhlung

On a warm spring evening you sit outside on the street with little traffic and drink an Augustiner beer. There aren't enough waiters, but they are nice. The Munich schnitzel with fried potatoes is ok. The schnapps at the end is expensive (€6).

Really delicious food, especially the spaetzle. The service was super friendly and very quick. The inn looks quaint inside and there is an outdoor area that faces a street. Nevertheless, you can also sit comfortably outside. The prices are quite fair for the size of the portions. What's particularly nice is that the inn is within walking distance of the Ostbahnhof and is very well connected. Another plus point is that you can pay by card. All in all, definitely a recommendation for a Bavarian inn.

The two veal meatballs with cucumber and potato salad are very tasty. The service was great, all in all recommended. Price/performance ratio is right and the portions are generous and it is a pub as you would like it to be.

The Augustiner restaurants could also belong to a chain. In several cities in Germany you can find a cozy atmosphere in an Augustinian restaurant with the best "home cooking" (schnitzel, roasts, burgers but also vegetarian dishes). Likewise in “Haidi”. I'm not a fan of (restaurant) chains. And there are NONE. BUT the food, ambience and service in these restaurants are ALWAYS TOP (in my experience). Even the portion in "Haidi" was so large that I was able to force it, but my companion capitulated before the plate was empty!

The staff is attentive and prompt, but cannot make up for the shortcomings listed below. The place is very loud. Normal conversations are hardly possible. Earplugs are strongly recommended! The food is OK and there is a hint of seasoning, but overall it would have tasted better if the stocks had cooked out a little longer. I had to season almost _every_ meal (including salad) with salt. I would also have liked a little pepper, but there wasn't that. The restaurant is not suitable for wheelchair users, as access is only via stairs and there are no suitable places to place tables at the tables due to long benches. The toilets are far too narrow for wheelchair users. Overall, the restaurant is good, but not my first choice.

Unfortunately it was very loud there, so conversation was hardly possible. The food was very good for most people. Unfortunately, my cheese spaetzle was a bit dry and weak.

Super tasty, very good price-performance ratio. Nice team. We'll come back next time we're in Munich

Dear Haidhauser Augustiner team, We had lunch with you today and you literally knocked our socks off! So I can only speak for myself now, but my friends are also super excited! I ate by far the best pork knuckle of my life 🤩🤩👌 I have often enjoyed Bavarian cuisine in Munich, but this was really amazing. We were even lucky enough to be able to speak briefly with the chef, who was really nice and funny 😂Unfortunately he didn't tell me his recipe for this amazing pork knuckle but I wouldn't do that either 😅 So with that in mind, people, you have to go there This is a great location, super nice friendly service, delicious beer and food🤤! Very good Bavarian food. Very nice service. It was quite crowded on a Monday. Quaint and cozy.

Super nice service - even spontaneously got a table for 10 people. And I was pleasantly surprised by the food. It tasted very good and very generous portions. Gladly again!

The service was great, we got a table without a reservation. The food was mediocre. For this price you would expect more quality. We ordered beef Wienerschnitzel and a burger. The beef was tough, the fried potatoes were not well cooked and fried. The meat from the burger was very dry. You can have a drink here, but the food is not recommended!

Great food!! Waiters friendly BUT a lot of chatting, not much of a waiter. Actually very cozy and quaint. But music is very loud and the more crowded it gets, the louder it gets. Lots of male guests.

Visit several places with the same name Agustina, all with a fantastic atmosphere, some quieter, others more lively because of the carnival party here.

Our first day in Munich we ate at this authentic Bavarian pub. The atmosphere is truly authentic, typical German food. The food is excellent, the portions are generous and the prices are normal. Exceptional beer. They have an English menu and the service is great, with friendly and helpful staff. Not to be missed. Super!

Whenever I'm in Munich, I go there. The food is super delicious and tastes like it was homemade. Top quality and freshness, even though the restaurant is actually always full. The portions are also hard to manage. The noble substance on tap is of course a real hit. Service is calm, friendly and always keeps an overview despite the fact that the hut is full. Really nice atmosphere there - just like you would imagine as a non-Bavarian to find such traditional restaurants. I'll definitely come back, especially since it's close to many large hotels.

First visit: We actually wanted to come here for dinner. Unfortunately, the service outside was subpar (preferred to sit around with obviously well-known guests). We had the cards delivered to the table and had to call out the drinks order afterwards. After these were on the table, no one paid us any attention. It was rather difficult to draw attention to us, as the gentleman then sat with his back to us. We didn't want to spend any more time here. A pity. Second visit: After half a year we spontaneously decided to stop by the Haidhauser Augustiner again. This time we sat down inside and shared a snack board as a snack. The service was attentive and quick, the food was really good. I am therefore happy to adjust my rating and give the service 3 stars, which is to be understood as a cross-section of both visits. After this second experience we would like to come back.

Good place for dinner and a beer. Traditional german food is served and the beer is cold and great. There's nothing special about the atmosphere of the place, but service was extremely efficient. Prices are also good for Munich. Would definitely come back.

Went there for Schafkopf, the beer was very good on tap and served quickly, many restaurants can follow an example. The roast pork was more than plentiful, the sauce was unfortunately too stretched, and the coleslaw was too sour. The concrete-hard crust is common, but for me it's a bad habit. The noise level was quite high, but overall the atmosphere was great. In the long run, the chairs were no match for my old intervertebral discs.

Absolutely authentic Augustinian restaurant (Bay., tavern) with some unbeatable food (meat was eaten there for once). Service is good. May not be ideal for quiet entertainment. But who goes to the pub to have some peace and quiet? 😉 Simply good atmosphere!

Got a last table for 4 of us, nice food and good beer. Was full when we have been there, would recommend a table reservation.

We ordered something to take away. We were overwhelmed by the portions. The crusty roast was a poem, the crust was extra crispy, crunchy and easy to eat. Even the Kässspatzen were so that the cheese was still steeped. Kaiserschmarren is fresh and smells really good. The picture shows the baked potato pancakes with goat cheese. The staff was friendly even though the store was full. The only “bad hearing” thing for Doarade is the acoustics echo a bit, so you quickly get closer to the neighbors when there are a lot of people there. (We have already celebrated a major birthday there, everyone was more than happy with the food and the staff.

Quite expensive for what is offered but still worth going for the southern german cuisine experience.

Ganz nach bayerischer Tradition liefert hier der Knödelking, den Preisen nach könnte man aber meinen man zahlt das Kochhandwerk mit. Man merkt und schmeckt es auch (Semmelknödel sind eine Katastrophe) Re: Ja klar stammt das Foto vom Sommer aber was hat das mit der Qualität in ihrem Haus zu tun? Entstanden ist das Bild weil wir einen Tag vor dem Foto bei ihnen waren und auch da schon enttäuscht waren. Ich hatte einen Salat mit 3 Frühlingsrollen (TK-Ware) und 6 Putenbruststreifen. Auch wenn man vorgeschnittenen Salat verwendet sollte man diesen vorher waschen. Und Frühlingsrollen gibt es auch hochwertiger bzw gesünder. Da versteht man den Preis von knapp 17,00 Euro auch nicht. Wo kommen denn die 17 Euro her? Scvhlüsseln sie mir das doch mal gerechtfertigt auf und ich nehme Alles zurück! Wie kann so ein Salat exakt genauso viel kosten wie ein Schweinebraten (wegen der Fertigprodukte etwa??) Mit dem Warenwert/Wareneinsatz können die 17 Euro definitiv schon mal nichts zu tun haben. Das mit dem Salat hätte ich aber auch einfach so stehen lassen können, war ja "nur ein Salat". Im Winter hatten wir dann Besuch, einer davon am Fuß verletzt, daher haben wir etwas zum Abholen bestellt, Schweinebraten. Und es war durch und durch eine reine Enttäuschung. Da weiß man gar nicht wie man es beschreiben soll, Fleisch hatte üblen Bei- bzw Nachgeschmack, der höchstwahrscheinlich nicht selbstgemachte Krautsalat, war auch nicht so der Hit und bei den Knödeln hat man beim Aufschneiden schon gemerkt und gesehen dass diese nicht selbst gemacht sind. Jeder hatte maximal 3 Gabeln, dann haben wir woanders neu bestellt. Fertigknödel und auch die anderen typisch bayrischen Lebensmittel die sie nicht selbst produzieren, bekommt man auch in gewissen Läden in einer sehr guten Qualität und hinter dem Namen Augustiner steckt so viel bayrische/Münchner Tradition, was sollte ich denn für einen Grund haben um in ein bayrisches Speiselokal zu gehen und wissentlich Fertigknödel zu bestellen? Das kann sich so ziemlich JEDER auch locker zu Hause machen. Und es sind ja nicht nur die Knödel die nicht hausgemacht sind.... Abschließend noch ein Tipp: Bedienungen sollten nicht unbedingt direkt vorm Lokal rauchen, sieht zum Einen nicht gut aus (die 90er sind vorbei) zum anderen kriegen, zwar nicht alle, aber einige Gäste mit, dass sie sich nach dem Rauchen nicht die Hände waschen....
