I was attending for a company dinner there. We had a small separate room next to the entrance. Service was excellent above the German standard, waitress brought the drinks and food according to standards. Food was delicious and creative I would recommend the place.

Wedding at the Haderner Augustiner The wedding with 65 guests, including the ceremony (starting at noon) and the extensive reception, took place in the Haderner Augustiner's banquet hall (first floor). From the incredibly excellent communication regarding the planning and organization of the day, and how the restaurant team could best fulfill the couple's wishes, to the fantastic ideas they contributed, the delicious food (despite some special dietary requirements such as gluten, histamine, and vegan), and the superb service throughout the day – all good reasons to celebrate here! Menu suggestions were easily adapted to accommodate food intolerances and special dietary needs. We felt that every effort was made to make one of the most beautiful days of our lives as uncomplicated as possible. The service team was incredibly dedicated and was exclusively at our service all day and into the night, always on the ball to ensure our guests were well taken care of and delighted with the food and drinks. The menu suggestions were easily adapted to accommodate food intolerances and special dietary requirements. We had the impression that every effort was made to make one of the most beautiful days of our lives as uncomplicated as possible. The kitchen and everyone behind the scenes conjured up some truly exquisite dishes, and they were incredibly accommodating to our ideas, implementing them beautifully. The price-performance ratio for everything we consumed was absolutely perfect! With great warmth, sensitivity, and attention to detail, they catered to us as guests, the bride and groom, and our expectations. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our special day! It was an absolute highlight and the perfect decision to celebrate our wedding with you! We'll definitely be back! P.S.: I'd almost say: a hidden gem for a wedding!

Yes, it's attracting customers everywhere. Rising prices are understandable. However, significantly smaller portions, a single, completely overwhelmed waitress whom you constantly feel the need to help, and the resulting service per table only every 30-45 minutes, made for a rather negative evening. The food was extremely bland. Dessert was good and tasty.

We were here for lunch. The beef broth had a sour taste and the pancakes weren't fresh. The Wiener schnitzel was a large portion, but unfortunately the veal was very stringy. The homemade potato salad didn't taste homemade.

The food—I'm a 30-year-old Bavarian myself—is absolutely authentic and very, very delicious! I'd go back anytime, the prices are absolutely reasonable. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Very popular, very busy, good FOOD

We can't help but give this place a very good review. The two of us come here often and have never been disappointed. High-quality and tasty dishes, friendly and fast service. On warm days, you can even sit outside. The subway is nearby. Prices aren't cheap, but they're not exorbitantly expensive either. What more could you want? :-) Make sure you make a reservation, especially on weekends with a larger group! Oh, and also worth mentioning: they offer affordable lunch specials at lunchtime, and they're closed on Mondays.

We were at the Haderner Augustiner today and were absolutely thrilled! The food was excellent and delicious – truly Bavarian cuisine at its finest. Our server was perfect: friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We especially want to mention that even an accidentally spilled beer was immediately replaced free of charge – that's the kind of service you'd want. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

A nice beer garden. It's all the more of a shame that the quality of the food leaves much to be desired. Today's meatloaf was edible, but good is something else entirely, especially since there are enough spices to make a meal tasty. The schnitzel, which cost just under €30, came with warmed-up fries, not freshly prepared. It doesn't help that the plate is filled to the brim, making it impossible to eat it all properly. Tip: a separate bowl for the fries. The roast pork also has a lot of room for improvement. The white sausages are good, just to add a positive note.

The location: we were in the beer garden, and it was really nice. You could live with it. Maybe a little dim on the tables, but it was cozy. Bringing dogs was allowed; there were plenty of people with them. The food: we were quite satisfied with some of it, but not so much with some. The dumplings were made of powder, which is a shame. The goulash was bland. For the hefty price, you'd expect something a little better. It's worth noting that, in addition to Bavarian home cooking, there are also vegetarian and vegan options. The service: we initially found the waitress quite prompt and friendly. However, she then left us a basket of pretzels that she had apparently forgotten there. We wanted to take one, whereupon she screamed loudly and carried the basket away. Unfortunately, it didn't occur to her to offer us another pretzel instead. It also took a long time for the waitress to notice that the drinks were empty. When we finally ordered another beer, it was completely forgotten. She stopped by the table where many very drinkable guests were sitting more often than she did at ours. By the time we paid, we still hadn't received our money. It was a shame. But she apologized very nicely. In conclusion: a nice place and some of the food was quite good, but all in all, we'd rather try a different pub next time.

So disappointed, it was the last time we were there....

Really enjoyed our time here. We had the Haderner o-batzi, the Käse Spätzle and the Chicken salad (along with delicious Augustiner beer). Our waiter Marco was excellent. Highly recommend this place!

20250827_I came to Hadern by chance today and had lunch at the Augustiner, very nice and quite acceptable Bavarian atmosphere, food was delicious and the service was very fast.

We had reserved a table for 45 people. We arrived much too early (before opening time), but we were still given a very friendly welcome and were even allowed into the dining room early. We ordered snack platters, which were fantastic! The server was attentive and very friendly. Thank you very much!

Service is okay. The ambiance is very nice. The food is not good! The burger bread was at least a day old and completely hard. The food was rather lackluster, which is a shame because the rest of the food was good.

Despite four servers and only six occupied tables, we still hadn't been able to place an order after 20 minutes. We eventually left, thirsty. Unfortunately, the service hasn't improved compared to before.

We just wanted to go there for dinner... we've lived there for 30 years... the beer garden was empty, two tables occupied, the first waiter didn't bother to return our friendly greeting... he came by three more times but didn't bring a menu and still didn't greet us. This wasn’t my first time here I was here for my last years birthday and I loved it, the food and hospitality was perfect. But this time I have a complaint! Today I came in and the waiter was really upset and angry We sat and said can we order, but while he was cleaning the table he said wait, McDonals it the other side of the road! Then brought the menu, we ordered coffee and dessert, he said it takes 30 minutes and when we asked for the reason he said with angry tone that its crowded Coffee, tea and dessert was great. But although it was crowded, I believe this is the exact situation which a waiter should stay calm and nice. We had experience with other waiters here and we didn’t see anything un-normal. We also waited 10 minutes for bill ! I have to add since the weather was ok, a group of trumpet players wearing Bavarian cultural dress was performing which was indelible.

We found the service lousy. A considerable number of waiters (we didn't see any female waiters), all dressed in Bavarian costumes and wearing lederhosen, roamed the restaurant. Nevertheless, we waited at least (!) five minutes, and no one paid any attention to us. When we asked a waiter, who clearly didn't feel responsible, whether we could order something, he reacted irritably. It had just started to rain, and guests were coming into the restaurant from the garden, which was very stressful. It's hard to understand why this happened; there weren't that many people streaming into the restaurant. And the, as mentioned, considerable number of waiters should be able to handle the crowd without any problem, we thought. After what felt like another five minutes, someone finally took pity on us and asked what we wanted. I paid just under 16 euros for my currywurst, supposedly from the renowned butcher "Bauch." The sausage, in which I find a piece of cartilage despite the butcher's appearance, is quite manageable in size, and the accompanying fries—very good, as is the sauce!—also seem to me to be meager (I'm exaggerating a bit, but there could have been a few more). Any kind of decoration, such as a slice of tomato and/or a leaf of parsley, is omitted. Admittedly, this isn't unusual for currywurst. The cheeseburger my companion ordered (over 18 euros) also seems to me to be more about appearance than substance. The centerpiece, the meatball in the middle, is certainly not particularly large. It's concealed by the decorations around the outside. Not a particularly convincing offer for me. I wouldn't order it under any circumstances. After the meal, we wait a while again until the empty plates are cleared away, then we sit in front of empty glasses, no one asking if we'd like anything else. Again, it's difficult to get a waiter's attention, and it takes a while before someone finally takes pity on us and takes our order. The ambiance is quite nice—if you like the rustic feel. All in all, we're not exactly enthusiastic. Even three stars is actually a bit of a flattery, but we're giving it anyway—because of the ambiance, the good fries, and the delicious sauce.

Very good, home-style food, very good (Bavarian) service. Nice beer garden. What more could you want? Parking is scarce.

Unfriendly and overwhelmed staff - both when ordering and when paying, change is given in 5 and 10 cent coins, food is mediocre and involves a very long wait, on top of that the exit is blocked by a company car - after reminding the staff that we are a regular customer, the staff just laughed at us in incomprehension and did not remove the company car - all in all miserable service and mean-spirited staff - would not recommend it!

The waiters in the garden have mastered the art of ignoring you: wow! You practically have to chase your waiter if you want to order something. Any village pub can do it better! I've rarely experienced such poor service.

This is the traditional place to enjoy bavarian food. Forget the other places you read about in travel guides. Here you get the famous Munich white sausages produced from Magnus Bauch. The best you can get. Enjoy the traditional atmosphere inside or the beer garden outside.

I would have liked to have something to eat for lunch today after a long motorcycle tour. I was sitting in the beer garden, which had a few customers. The waitress brought me the menu and left me sitting there for about 20 minutes without responding. It's a shame, I wouldn't say anything if she was busy. But as it was, I felt a bit like I'd been made fun of!!!! The other colleague was in a bad mood, judging by the look on his face. It used to be a great place.

We were in the beer garden for lunch today. Two out of three employees couldn't answer simple questions about the lunch menu. We then decided we didn't want to eat because the highly motivated, black-haired waiter had no idea what the menu was and fell asleep while working. A disgrace for these exorbitant prices.

When we paid, they also undercharged us for two beers – which I honestly stated and paid for when I left. An apology? None. The only positive thing: The food was really good and the beer excellent – ​​especially the one from the wooden keg. Conclusion: We'll only be back one last time to redeem our beer tokens. Without this reason, we wouldn't go back to the restaurant again. The disastrous service ruined the entire visit – what a pity about the food.

We had asparagus soup here. It was so bad, we had to send it back. We then ordered a salad, which was also quite tasteless. The service seemed annoyed. Only when we were about to pay did they suddenly become friendly again—presumably to get a tip. The ambiance is okay for a pub, but it's quite loud. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. There's another pub in the same area that's much better.

A traditional Munich restaurant in a beautiful setting. Friendly service and the food was excellent. The roast pork with dumplings and coleslaw were very good and plentiful (2 slices and a piece of crust), and the additional mixed salad was delicious and varied. The fried chicken was tender and nicely pulled from the bone, which the diners commented on positively. The homemade potato salad was also very good (which isn't common in many restaurants these days, as many buy ready-made potato salad from wholesalers). So, I highly recommend it!

Spontaneous visit that was very positive. Beer gardens in Munich are simply a must anyway. In the Haderner Augustiner the ambience is perfect with tables under the beautiful old chestnut trees. The food - mixed salad and roast pork with potato dumplings - arrived very quickly. The salad was very fresh and the roast pork was juicy and not bone dry like in many restaurants. The meal was rounded off with a half of alcohol-free Augustiner Helles, which simply tastes fantastic

Food was good but a certain waitress wanted to force us to pay for something we didn't order...

BEWARE SCAMS!! Older waitress with short hair claimed after our large party paid that we didn’t pay for a dish and two beers. This is after she sat next to each of us individually while we paid for our individual items and shook her head disapprovingly every time we told her our tip amounts. Then, after claiming we didn’t pay for everything, she said that she was unable to prove what we paid for and she wasn’t able to see the receipts or the items that were entered into the system. We could also all prove our payments with credit cards which she refused to look at. She told us, “why don’t you each just pay two euros? That won’t hurt you.” The whole thing felt very dishonest. Always look at ur receipt before! And If she tries this with your party, DONT PAY UNLESS SHE CAN PROVE WHAT WAS ORDERED/PAID FOR!! The food was amazing and other servers seemed great otherwise.

Food again just average. Price performance only worth 3 stars. January 2025: I joined a group of friends. Unfortunately I could only have a drink because the waitress simply didn't come to the table. It took almost 40 minutes, despite drawing my attention. I would have liked to eat something, but no one came. I didn't leave a tip when paying. The ambience is still nice, but far too loud for me personally. Almost like being in a train station hall. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the current menu because I haven't received it. Price for the wine spritzer was very expensive.

Quaint Bavarian restaurant, former “Weissbräu” beautifully renovated!

Went here for dinner on Boxing Day. It was very busy but the service was very friendly and didn't seem stressed. There was a smaller selection of food, which is fine for a holiday. Unfortunately, 80% of the dishes had an alcohol sauce, which is rather difficult when you are breastfeeding and therefore the selection is very small. The food was very good and the portions were sufficient. There was an extra children's menu for the children 👍 Price-performance: rather more expensive. Probably due to the location in Munich 😉

A type of restaurant that has become rather rare in the Munich area. Something quaint and authentic. Reservations make sense. We (4 people) just managed to find a free table on a Thursday. Our 4x meals were good, the waiter was quick and friendly. Absolutely recommended.

I can't remember giving less than 3-star reviews but i'd give this a zero if I could. Horrible, rude service and overrated, badly seasoned food. Spend your money elsewhere.

Sitting in the beer garden in the sunshine in November Tasty food and more service might be great. But food came at the same time, and when the service staff was there, they were there 100 percent.

Just wanted a quick dinner. We were so impressed by the service and the food that we made a reservation for the next evening.
