Bavaria in München

El Bavaria es un restaurante bastante económico. Comimos un par de ensaladas y postre. Todo estaba correcto, nada destacable, exceptuado el pan que era horrible. Había muy poca gente y el camarero que nos atendió fue tan serio y distante como correcto en el trato. El local intenta ser típico pero resulta un poco desangelado. Aunque sea bastante céntrico da la impresión de ser un restaurante de barrio con sus clientes habituales. Sinceramente esperábamos más. Según ponía la carta, solo cobran en efectivo. Honestamente no puedo hacer ni una critica negativa ni positiva. Ni fu, ni fa.

The food was about 2€ cheaper than other restaurants. I was glad to be able to eat the braten, which was my favorite! It was delicious! But I was full after about half the meal and it started to feel like a food fight. I avoided peak hours and entered the restaurant solo around 5:50pm. I couldn't finish it and stayed there for about an hour.

It's a good place to eat, with a friendly host! The price and quality are quite good!

Decided on dinner for four three had weiner schnitzel with potato Rossi and the other decided on kebabs and Rosti. This restaurant is well worth coming to with excellent food. Don’t be dismissive it is excellent food, plus for beers.

Restaurant 300 meters from Central Station, serving traditional Bavarian food, delicious and hearty. The staff is friendly and speaks English. The atmosphere is very peaceful and cozy. Highly recommended.

Just what I imagine a good little Bavarian restaurant should look like! Delicious food, attentive staff, cozy atmosphere, very reasonable prices yet still very good quality. We spent a very nice, relaxing, and pleasant evening there. We'd be happy to go back anytime and definitely recommend it. We'll definitely be back next time!

Very good food with generous portion sizes. Unfortunately, only cash payments are accepted, but considering that, it's definitely worth a visit.

It's a pub, and the food and drinks reflect that. I recommend the Cordon Bleu... if you like meat, you'll get your money's worth here. Besides the food and drinks, what fascinates me about Bavaria is its international clientele. It's close to the main train station, and there are plenty of hotels and hostels nearby. There's always a chance to chat with people from the other side of the world.

Very friendly, quick service, who runs the entire place single-handedly, supported only by one person behind the counter. Respect. The food is above average. I had the "half/half." The raznici skewer was too fatty for me personally, but I'm admittedly picky about that. And finally, the menu also features "pork neck skewer." Everything tasted great, though, good home cooking. We were here as a regular at the Augustiner, a group of 15 heavy drinkers; everyone was satisfied; no one went hungry or thirsty. Kudos again to the service!

Swiss sausage salad is here: lots of ice cream salad on a flat plate and a few sausages, cucumbers and cheese strips on top to make it look like “a lot”. Side salad is a ready-made product drowned in lots of water dressing. And just “CASH IS GOODS” 🤨 Why? Has nothing to do with Bavarian products and the guild next to Theresienwiese. During the week of Bauma 2025 we ate in this restaurant several times, with a group of approximately 15 people per evening. Even though the restaurant was full, we were given a room at the back of the restaurant, a kind of private space. Really great to eat here with a group. Despite the enormous crowds, the waiters did a great job and the food even came out of the kitchen without any errors! Very cozy and the food was very tasty every evening. Definitely recommended.

Goulash is very delicious. The main dish was absolutely tasteless. The sauce was cold, the meat was cheap, and the cheese was cheap. It's just salty without any flavor. If you walk 4 minutes, there is a better kebab restaurant at 1/3 the price, so go there instead. waste of money

We looked almost in vain for a delicacy on Friday evening at 10:20 p.m. after arriving late, but we found what we were looking for here - super friendly service and really top-notch food! We had the Munich schnitzel and the roast with dumplings - highly recommended! Great place, thank you! ;)

We had an excellent meal here at a good price/performance ratio. Warm plates, hot food and cold beer as it should be - sets standards and the service is courteous and fast.

Rustic, simple restaurant. It's a mix of German and Serbo/Croatian dishes, so the name of the restaurant is a bit misleading. The service is quick and friendly, the food is plentiful, tasty and rustic. You shouldn't expect any culinary highlights here. The prices are reasonable. Cash only!

But after eating so well here and being disappointed by a well-known restaurant, I went again yesterday. Food rich and tasty at moderate prices. The two waiters are really attentive, quick and friendly. Clear recommendation. The decoration on the ceiling should urgently be revised 😉

Wow, rarely eaten so well... large portions, great taste and my rum steak was on point. My husband's grill plate is also really big. Ayar, Djuvedreis and Cevapcici are awesome. The salad side dish can be expanded. Service was on point and very attentive. It's been a long time since I've had such great service. And finally. I have an Augustiner beer… 👍up. That makes my heart soar as an ex-Munich native🫶

Bavaria is great. Versatile card, you don't know what to take. But everything is great, even if it's too much for me... 🤣 The boss is nice and friendly, even the next day he still knows what we drank the day before and offers it straight away. If we are in Munich again, we will definitely eat there again.

It's a cozy and really tasty Bavarian style restaurant. Since I travel alone, I'm shy to enter some restaurant alone but this place welcoming me in good way. Beer and pork dish are really really tasty, even though it's close to the central station in Munich but not very expensive like other restaurants for tourists. I'd love to visit again!

Food is not bad. Service is not good. The waitress is unfriendly. Not sure if coz we are asians. We ordered 4 main dishes for a party of 4 & drinks as well. She only served us 1 set of salad where all other tables get a salad for each guest. So..

Sono stata a cena in questo grazioso locale insieme ai mie figli. Pulito e caratteristico, camerieri molto gentili, è il classico locale tedesco dove riuniscono più persone nello stesso tavolo, e a noi andava bene. Le porzioni sono generose , abbiamo mangiato insalata di krauti, wienerschnitzel (cotoletta con le patatine) e un piatto di cevapcici con patatine e riso. Tutto buono! Buon rapporto qualità- prezzo. When I'm in Munich for work, this is my first choice of where to eat. I love the super nice service. The staff is so welcoming and I like that they wear traditional costumes. 🥰 The food is very tasty, well portioned and well priced 👍🏻 and the beer 🤤 a small point of criticism: unfortunately no card payment possible... All in all, highly recommended!

Fomos atendidos por uma senhora que nos explicou os pratos em inglês, dando então para escolher com mais precisão os pratos para cada um de nós. Cervejas de excelente qualidade, serviço rápido e cordial. Entretanto não aceitam cartões! Levem Euros para pagar!!! Se você não tiver Euros em efetivo, há um ATM há cerca de 100 metros em sentido a central de trem. Por fim, o preço é razoável pela qualidade e pela prestação do serviço. Recomendo!

The restaurant clearly shows a change request in the side dish or optional ordering of other meat dishes to the main course with the billing for a small additional order to a main course, various cuisine was also charged for €14. In addition, the staff is not particularly good at calculations. When paying, he didn't give the change correctly; after correcting it and speaking to him, it was noticed and of course corrected. Conclusion: The restaurant is very tasty, but I would advise against ordering additional items to go with the dish. You pay for this at a very, very high price. Unfortunately, for this move, which the restaurateur did with the additional supplement to the order, there is only one star overall.

Wonderful place! Delicious food - even a huge man leaves this place with a full belly!!! I ordered a huge pork cutlet with wild mushrooms. The staff is excellent and professional - I could switch my spätzle and it was no problem.

The first impression: A simply furnished, open-plan restaurant, but I didn't expect anything more. Then came the first surprise: the prices on the menu didn't correspond at all to those published here. Their own homepage also showed prices that were too low. That actually doesn't work at all. The meal was then purely nutritional. The meat in my Swabian plate was tough and overall not very seasoned. The spaetzle were probably homemade at some point during the day, but were then roasted in the pan to warm them up, which made them hard. My companion had a meatloaf. It was so well seasoned that you almost had to put a pipe out of the tap. To say something positive: the portions were reasonably large and the service was very good. The liqueur/schnapps after the meal is also not common in a Bavarian restaurant and it just made the meal a little more digestible. Overall, unfortunately a disappointing visit

We visited this restaurant spontaneously, it is right next to our hotel. The Augustin brand is excellent in Bavaria. Beer for every taste, food is also top-notch, a plate with fermen sausages and beer, what else do you need. A compliment from the establishment at the end, local fruit moonshine. Delicious. I just left the Bavaria restaurant in Munich. I came here following their website, which unfortunately does not have updated prices, which is a scam, unfortunately, because when you book, these are the prices you have in mind. On the spot and with the reservation made late enough to change your mind, we find that the prices are about 30-40% higher than the prices shown on their website. Not having time and not knowing the area, I stayed here, even though there was a lot of noise in the restaurant. The waitress came quickly, but I don't know why, both when I ordered drinks and when I ordered food, she didn't wait for us to finish ordering, but left suddenly, so I went to the bar to finish my order. I ordered two gigantic pork schnitzels (actually they were normal portions), two turkey schnitzels and a portion of spaghetti carbonara, it should be noted that the dishes were very tasty, congratulations to the chef. We were amazed when he brought the order because there were only two schnitzels and two grilled turkeys (which the waitress said, after I asked her, that they were the schnitzels. Now if turkey schnitzel is grilled in Munich, I apologize to the lady, only that I don't think so.
