If you don't know where to put your money, you're in good hands here. The menu and drinks are nothing special but at completely overpriced prices. A glass of milk for €3.50 or a wheat beer for €6.50. Hello? Warm food such as a burger for €20!? Normal fish dishes almost 30 €!? Sorry, the catering industry is digging its heels in. Everyone should decide for themselves whether they are overestimating themselves or being usurious. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant.

The waitress only came to the table 25 minutes after asking, after ordering a coffee and a piece of cake they were tolerated for another 10 minutes, but then only the coffee... It's a shame, because the ambience and the cake were great. Unfortunately mass processing.

For the first time in my life, I didn't tip. We waited 15 minutes for a table for two, even though we could see several free tables through the window. When asked, it was said that you would be seated. When the completely overwhelmed woman came, she just said that you should sit down somewhere. When we ordered we were told that it was the Bon-Stop for hot dishes. So we ordered 2 pieces of cake and two non-alcoholic yeast. The cake came very quickly. The drinks arrived on time when we finished the cake. They sat on the counter ready for 5 minutes. 17 minutes passed between the request to pay and the process. When we saw the queue outside and knew that there were several free tables inside, we were sure that this extremely poor and completely overwhelmed "service" really didn't deserve a tip. Oh yes, we also paid €24.60 for all the “fun”. Mind you, two small pieces of cake and 2 yeast. Yeast because there is only filter coffee, which costs €4.50.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The ambience and the menu initially made a promising impression. However, our waiter was consistently rude and we felt like we were more of a burden than welcome guests. Questions were answered with annoyance or snark and comments were made in an unfriendly tone. Gastronomy not only lives from good food, but above all from pleasant interaction with guests - unfortunately that was not the case here. I hope management takes the feedback to heart and works to improve the service

Where there is light, there are also shadows. The map is small and consistent. That's why always pay attention to the daily offers. The service is special. There is one person who orders and pays, the other helpers are only there to clear away and deliver. This can, especially if it is full or there are few helpers, lead to you waiting 15 minutes before you can order or having to remind you several times that you want to pay. It is also not uncommon for food to be brought out individually so that everyone can see exactly what the other person has on the table. The soup is also often served at the table before the drinks. Just like tea after cake. The prices for filtered tap water are just outrageous. It thrives on hype - but as a frequent visitor to the island, there is only a reason to stop here after long hikes when it is not overcrowded. A positive thing is the usually very tasty free apple that you can take with you when you leave.

On our way to the White Dune we took a short break here and fortified ourselves with, among other things, seasonal buttermilk. We sat outside in the best weather and had a good time. The special ambience invites you to linger and relax. We didn't eat anything, so we can't rate anything here. We would definitely come back again.

The waiter there doesn't work at all. Rarely have we seen such cheeky staff. If you don't like tourists, you should look for another job. We waited forever for food and were only allowed to pay after repeated requests

The Meierei is really a very special place that we can only recommend. As soon as you enter, you immediately feel the cozy atmosphere: warm colors, lovingly selected details in the furnishings and a thoroughly inviting ambience. You immediately feel at home here, almost like you are at home with good friends. The food was a real highlight. Every dish we ordered was excellently prepared - fresh, high quality and prepared with great attention to detail. The selection on the menu is varied without being overwhelming and offers something to suit every taste. Particularly noteworthy are the regional ingredients, which give the whole thing an authentic, down-to-earth touch. You can just tell that real passion for good food ends up on the plate here. The service in the dairy is also above average. The staff is attentive, friendly and always strives to ensure that guests have a perfect stay without being intrusive. Questions about dishes were answered competently and warmly, and special requests were taken into account without any problems. All in all, the Meierei is a place where you can not only eat excellent food, but also relax wonderfully. The harmonious combination of great food, cozy ambience and warm service makes every visit a real experience. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

Today we were at “My Meierei Norderney”. We drank coffee and tea there and ate a crab sandwich. Mmmmm...that was really delicious. Afterwards we shopped for the Franzbrötchen spread, mustard and tea. I'm already looking forward to the next breakfast at home with the Norderney feeling.

We really liked it and went there several times during our stay. We really enjoyed everything. The tea room and small shop are also very nice. Service was friendly and seemed authentic.

A must on your Norderney vacation! The dairy is centrally located between the city and the eastern part of the island. There is a lot going on here during the day, as the dairy is ideally located for a stop after trips to the wreck, lighthouse, oasis and whatever else can be discovered in the eastern part of the island. Our apartment was in the immediate vicinity and so we were there in the evening. No matter whether inside or outside. At lunchtime or in the evening the service is good and the atmosphere invites you to linger. In the adjoining Kaden you can browse and buy a number of things from the menu. Whether the beer, spices or Franzbrötchen cream is consistently delicious. However, the eggnog was particularly good 😋 because it was made with raspberry spirit! The food is great, the menu is not overly large, but there is something for every taste and it remains affordable. There are also funny sayings from the service staff. I can recommend it without reservation, I would say a vacation in Norderney is a must!

Clear recommendation! The service is quick, attentive and friendly, and the ambience is exceptional. We have been there many times over the last few years and have never been disappointed. Be sure to try: the various apple juices and spritzers.

We ate delicious cake. The very nice service persuaded us to try a delicious homemade apple liqueur. In our in-house store we have 2 jars of homemade mustard (blueberry and sea bear).

Museum, shopping and great pub, what more is there.

Die Meierei wurde zu einer Art Ausflugslokal umfunktioniert. Innen- und Aussensitzplätze vorhanden. Service ok. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mau: so dürfte gerne auch regionaler Schwarztee angeboten werden statt „Dallmeyer“. Die „Friesentorte“ war ein Witz: 3 Schichten dröger Biskuit, dazwischen dünnst aufgetragen wahrscheinlich Pflaumenmus (genau kann ich es nicht sagen, da aufgrund der geringen Menge geschmacklich nicht von dem viel zu süßen und viel zu drögen Biskuit zu unterscheiden), obenauf dann eine auch sehr dünne Schicht Buttercreme, darauf dann Baiser-Stückchen, dazu etwas aromatisierte Sahne und, was hatte man anderes erwartet… fuderweise Puderzucker.

Wir sind hier bei einer Wanderung über die Insel eingekehrt. Das Lokal hat einen tollen Garten und schönen Gastraum sowie eine gute Auswahl an Speisen. Sie werden optisch schön angerichtet und sind qualitativ sehr gut. Die Preise für die Speisen sind in Bezug ihrer Größe/Menge angemessen und können geteilt werden. Die Preise für Getränke liegen wie auf der gesamten Insel über Großstadtniveau.

A super nice place to relax...sit outside in nice weather and enjoy the sun. We especially like the woodruff and raspberry soda. All the food is of good quality, and the service is excellent. Moving a chair isn't encouraged here; otherwise, everything is great.

The wow factor sets in as soon as you enter; a feel-good atmosphere. I think it's the only place on the island that doesn't serve frozen cakes. Everything here is made with passion, and you can taste it. The service and value for money are also excellent. The store also offers a variety of takeaways and many other lovely things to buy. Here, too, great attention is paid to quality.

Nice restaurant with great food and drinks. Really recommended, although relatively expensive but otherwise that's what you get on the island. What was really negative, however, was that the waitress offered eggnog in such a way that you assumed it was on the house and then it was on the bill. We thought it was bold.

An employee who takes the order in a relaxed and friendly manner and an excellent meal where our small group was absolutely satisfied. And the price was right in the end. What a great location 😀. We really liked “My Meierei Norderney”, it is exceptional. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food is absolutely amazing and the portions are huge. The additional farm shop is particularly and beautifully designed. All in all just wonderful.

Here too 6 out of 5 stars. And definitely try the eggnog. Excuses don't count!

Harsh service and moldy Kaiserschmarrn: We headed to the dairy when it opened at 11 a.m. for a kind of brunch. We ordered “Brotzeit” and “Matjesbrot” - but there was nothing, we were told harshly that it was clearly written outside “Barbecue from 12 p.m.”. A bit at a loss, we didn't want anything grilled. But nothing can be done, there is still no kitchen. Ok, first just ordered coffee. While serving, the waitress said he could offer us sweet dishes and suggested Kaiserschmarrn (which is called Coastal Schmarrn here). Ok, joy, ordered. After 1 minute, a well-tapped beer takes much longer, the Kaiserschmarrn was warm in front of us. And the first bite with lots of apple compote or powdered sugar was ok too, sweet, with a bit of a bitter aftertaste. But at some point my wife and I looked at each other and spit out pieces again. The food tastes spoiled, disgusting, downright rancid. And then we looked closer and found mold. Apparently this egg dish was not only not freshly prepared, but was at least 2-3 days old. Is it part of the gastronomic concept to keep such dishes ready until someone stupid comes along? We felt a bit queasy, maybe just from disgust, but we didn't get sick.

Every holiday, the dairy on Norderney is one of our obligatory destinations. Here you can enjoy excellent food in a very nice atmosphere, served by friendly staff. Child-friendly, there is an in-house coloring template. And when we're not on the island, we regularly give away vouchers for this great location so that we can remember how much we enjoyed it there.

Super nice shop. Very nicely decorated and you can tell that the service puts their heart and soul into it. Had the soup of the day and the house beer. Super tasty and charming with little jugs. At the back there is a cozy tea room and a small shop for shopping. You can buy very nice regional things there. Absolute recommendation!!!

We really liked this place. The old industrial building was lovingly renovated and converted into a restaurant so that it can now accommodate a larger number of people in the rooms of the former dairy. If you can't find space there anymore, and that happens quite often, you can also sit outside. Even in winter. Attached to the restaurant are a tea lounge and a shop; the latter sells homemade specialties and all sorts of island chic. Both are worth a visit. There are Frisian specialties, both sweet and savory. Vegan and non-vegan. Served by a nice team. We strongly recommend a detour to the dairy. But depending on the season and time of day, please be patient.

Very nice location, a trip is worth it! The service is good and always ready for a joke. You can sit very comfortably inside and outside. There is only one negative point for the choice of food, I would simply have liked something more.

Great daytime restaurant, especially for a break between a hike or bike ride. Bus stop in front of the door if you are not mobile. Rustic rural ambience to match the food and drinks. Vegan offer available. Real flower tendrils as room dividers, beautiful individual dishes... No advance reservation, there is a waiting time in high season, but table allocation is well organized. If the weather is good, you can sit outside if the terrace is beautifully decorated with furs, wooden benches, umbrellas, etc. Great menu, from very savory to sweet. e.g. cheese fondue, soups, sausages with sauerkraut or potato salad, rice pudding, Kaiserschmarrn, homemade cakes... Next door there is a quiet tea room and an office with decorations and regional long-life foods. Very popular in-meeting place.

We came here twice for coffee and cake, every time it was great! The cake is warmed before serving and then tastes like it was freshly baked, large pieces for all types. A little too sweet for my taste, hence 4 stars. Nice service, attentive and polite. Everyone will find an undisturbed corner in the large room. You have to force yourself to get up and go back towards the place ;)

The internet says it's open until 9 p.m., we wanted to eat there today with 13 people and then got the information at 5:30 p.m. that it would be closed at 6 p.m. due to the winter season. Then you should communicate this on the homepage and on Google. Too bad!

We had Norderneyer Zipfel and the onion soup with croutons and cheese gratin. The tea room looks very cozy. The restaurant area looks like it was stuck in the 80s. The service was friendly but very firm about seating. The dumplings were ok, the Norderneyer Kraut was very tasty. The potato salad was very bland. Mixed with the mustard, the potato salad was easy to eat. The best thing about the onion soup was the cheese. The croutons were cubes of bread that had been softened in an instant broth. The soup itself tasted like instant broth with a few cooked onions. Not recommended for eating.

I visited the dairy twice. We had dinner here for the first time and ordered a very tasty burger and salmon on a bed of hay. We really liked the atmosphere. So a few days later I used the time to enjoy the tea ceremony here in peace. I took 3.5 hours for it and really enjoyed it. I really liked the peace and quiet in the tea room and was able to try some very tasty teas. I can also recommend the delicious cherry crumble with cream. All in all, I would come here again at any time.

Attractive ambience indoors and outdoors. The farm shop offers everything you need. Or not... Restaurant: Prices are sometimes completely exorbitant, but the cuisine is quite good (we had herring and a dessert). The "Meier" beer is brewed in Swabia, but the rest should be totally local. Overall, not a place for a celebratory meal, but a nice change as part of a bike tour.

Cream for 25 euros. A Frisian cake that was NOT, and with cream at that. Never seen before. Ice cream chocolate (ordered twice) with a mini scoop of ice cream and a mountain of cream. So much cream. Which also tasted really cheap. No quality. I'm disappointed. The ambience is nice. Too bad.

Nachdem es beim ersten Mal so gut war, waren wir noch ein zweites Mal dort. Mittagessen: Meine Meierei Burger mit pulled Pork ist eine absolute Empfehlung. Aber auch die Zipfel waren klasse. Zwei Tage später nachmittags Kaffee und Kuchen. Große Portion und wirklich sehr lecker. Tolles Ambiente und netter Service.

There's a lot of moo here - and not a lot of fish. But with it also some variety in the island nonsense. The adaptation of Kaiserschmarrn as Inselschmarrn was also successful. We'd love to come back.
