Very tasty and super friendly staff

This was our fourth time on Norderney, and honestly, our first time at the Meierei. The food was so delicious that we went back a second time, as we had to try the salmon in hay :) ... SUPER delicious ... and the sauerkraut is fantastic. Plus, the super friendly service and the cozy, lovely atmosphere. We'll definitely be back on our next Norderney vacation :)

Meine Meierei is truly the best Norderney has to offer. You can sit inside or outside, and the atmosphere is very pleasant and cozy. The staff is "North German" and friendly, and they're always quick to offer a lighthearted joke. The food is fabulous, whether it's a traditional German snack, the incredibly delicious Leberkäse (meat loaf), or the milk rice. Our children and we love it there. Out of 15 days on Norderney, we go to Meine Meierei 10 times.

Distinctive but atmospheric, tasty food and not complicated.

We only made one stop there on our hike, but it was enough to get us excited! We each had rice pudding with sugar and cinnamon and one with strawberry puree. Both were truly delicious and make us curious to visit the dairy again. The beer on offer also impressed us!

Are you looking for a place to spend money where you expected more? I can tell you about a visit that was, unfortunately, a complete disappointment. The menu offers nothing exceptional, and the prices are simply exorbitant. A shandy costs €4.50, and a wheat beer in a clay mug (not a wheat glass, which is unknown here) costs a whopping €6.50. Plus, three dishes totaled €60. It makes you wonder what's going on here. The appetizer, a soup of the day, and the main course of country bread topped with cheese were served together. When is that even common? Also disappointing was the waiter's cheeky response (the blond young man with the hair pinned to the front, "then you should have told my colleague") and slammed the plates down. Respect seems to be a foreign word in this restaurant. Addressing guests informally is another sign of rudeness – a clear indication that something is lacking in the service here. My Leberkäse with cabbage and potato salad was disappointing and cost a whopping €19. The Leberkäse was dry, the potato salad completely flavorless. I don't understand the concept of the restaurant – a "better" snack bar, a Bavarian retreat, or a chic restaurant? Questions upon questions that remain unanswered. The service was slow and inattentive, and the excuse "It's the season" unfortunately doesn't help. In other areas, like hospitals, everyone is taken care of, no matter how busy they are. I can't understand the good reviews, and the fact that no one in charge here actively responds to Google makes me wonder. doubt the quality of the business. For us, the rule is...not again. Perhaps everyone decides for themselves whether this is overconfidence or profiteering.

Pleasant terrace, fast service. However, the meals are overpriced and the portions are too small. No additional side dishes available. Rude owner who apparently demands a tip at checkout. Not recommended.

Cool location, authentic, natural cuisine with excellent value and perfect, very attentive service. We'll be back!

Nice restaurant with good food!

Outrageous prices... Even the tap water is sold at a high price. A slice of Friesentorte costs almost €7! And it's one of the worst cakes I've ever eaten. The other prices on the menu are also far too expensive. Service isn't good either. Only one waitress who lets you pay. We won't be coming here again.

Four of us went there for dinner after the beach. The outdoor seating was lovely, and the service was friendly. We had burgers, sausages, and salad, and rice pudding for dessert. The food was okay, but not as tasty as we hoped. Next time we visit, we'll just have a drink and enjoy the lovely atmosphere.

Small, clear menu, quite expensive, the neighbor sent the cake back because it didn't taste good and our island pancake wasn't quite cooked and cost 16.50.

Very friendly service, delicious food, very comfortable seating, and you can also buy delicious things. I always enjoy coming there. When you leave, you can always take a delicious apple with you.

Our first visit was to the black sausage cart in the square in front of the dairy! A lot has improved since then, but the food and service have always been excellent. Toast with a bratwurst! You can always go without a reservation, and a short wait is sometimes nice. @Team: keep up the good work and never let it spoil your mood!

Like every year: Not only is there the same waitress (the one with the colorful shoes), but everything is still delicious (Zipfel, summer beer).

We've been here a few times, and it's always nice to stop here for a break after a bike ride. The dairy is located on the outskirts of Norderney, near the lighthouse. Even when it's busy, the staff stays organized and is friendly.

We wanted to sit in the tea room and drink tea. Two of us preferred something else. When we asked if that was possible, we received an unfriendly reply: "That's not possible, this is a tea room after all." Even one person not taking anything isn't acceptable. Not even a glass of water. If we wanted something else, we should go to the restaurant. The tea in the restaurant, however, is a simple Dallmeyer tea bag. I can make that at home. After all, we wanted delicious East Frisian tea. The strawberry spritzer tasted like alcohol. The service was incredibly unfriendly, and then they made cheeky comments on top of that. And the prices were touristy. Absolutely disappointing!

A truly lovely place to eat, relax, and drink. Nice and friendly servers, and the food is delicious! The small shop next door has a really wide selection and is definitely worth a visit.

We went straight from the beach to the dairy and were warmly welcomed. The food is absolutely recommended. The cake is also a dream.😋

The separate tea room is simply divine. Absolutely hygge. Definitely worth a try. For just under 10 euros, you can drink as much tea as you like, including East Frisian tea with Kluntjies and cream. They also serve delicious cakes. The Frisian cake is a delight. The ambiance is lovingly designed. There's a large selection of books to browse. The service is excellent.

The waitress was arrogant and asked us to wait a second. After 45 minutes, we left without eating anything. That was the last time for us.

Maybe we were just a little unlucky. The service was friendly and accommodating when we paid. The Inselschmarrn (2 different portions) was nothing; it wasn't warm enough, and tasted like it came from a packet, warmed up in a microwave, and a bit of apple compote from a can. It used to be much better, one of our group said.

It's very cozy, with friendly service. The menu is easy to read 👍 Whether sweet or savory, it's great. Highly recommended! A good half-hour walk from the hustle and bustle of the island! It's worth it!!!

If you don't know where to put your money, you're in good hands here. The menu and drinks are nothing special but at completely overpriced prices. A glass of milk for €3.50 or a wheat beer for €6.50. Hello? Warm food such as a burger for €20!? Normal fish dishes almost 30 €!? Sorry, the catering industry is digging its heels in. Everyone should decide for themselves whether they are overestimating themselves or being usurious. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant.

No Long queues for a table, unfriendly ushers, were ignored and then left

The waitress only came to the table 25 minutes after asking, after ordering a coffee and a piece of cake they were tolerated for another 10 minutes, but then only the coffee... It's a shame, because the ambience and the cake were great. Unfortunately mass processing.

Highly recommended... very tasty stew... the mustard is the best in years

For the first time in my life, I didn't tip. We waited 15 minutes for a table for two, even though we could see several free tables through the window. When asked, it was said that you would be seated. When the completely overwhelmed woman came, she just said that you should sit down somewhere. When we ordered we were told that it was the Bon-Stop for hot dishes. So we ordered 2 pieces of cake and two non-alcoholic yeast. The cake came very quickly. The drinks arrived on time when we finished the cake. They sat on the counter ready for 5 minutes. 17 minutes passed between the request to pay and the process. When we saw the queue outside and knew that there were several free tables inside, we were sure that this extremely poor and completely overwhelmed "service" really didn't deserve a tip. Oh yes, we also paid €24.60 for all the “fun”. Mind you, two small pieces of cake and 2 yeast. Yeast because there is only filter coffee, which costs €4.50.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The ambience and the menu initially made a promising impression. However, our waiter was consistently rude and we felt like we were more of a burden than welcome guests. Questions were answered with annoyance or snark and comments were made in an unfriendly tone. Gastronomy not only lives from good food, but above all from pleasant interaction with guests - unfortunately that was not the case here. I hope management takes the feedback to heart and works to improve the service

Where there is light, there are also shadows. The map is small and consistent. That's why always pay attention to the daily offers. The service is special. There is one person who orders and pays, the other helpers are only there to clear away and deliver. This can, especially if it is full or there are few helpers, lead to you waiting 15 minutes before you can order or having to remind you several times that you want to pay. It is also not uncommon for food to be brought out individually so that everyone can see exactly what the other person has on the table. The soup is also often served at the table before the drinks. Just like tea after cake. The prices for filtered tap water are just outrageous. It thrives on hype - but as a frequent visitor to the island, there is only a reason to stop here after long hikes when it is not overcrowded. A positive thing is the usually very tasty free apple that you can take with you when you leave.

On our way to the White Dune we took a short break here and fortified ourselves with, among other things, seasonal buttermilk. We sat outside in the best weather and had a good time. The special ambience invites you to linger and relax. We didn't eat anything, so we can't rate anything here. We would definitely come back again.

The waiter there doesn't work at all. Rarely have we seen such cheeky staff. If you don't like tourists, you should look for another job. We waited forever for food and were only allowed to pay after repeated requests

The Meierei is really a very special place that we can only recommend. As soon as you enter, you immediately feel the cozy atmosphere: warm colors, lovingly selected details in the furnishings and a thoroughly inviting ambience. You immediately feel at home here, almost like you are at home with good friends. The food was a real highlight. Every dish we ordered was excellently prepared - fresh, high quality and prepared with great attention to detail. The selection on the menu is varied without being overwhelming and offers something to suit every taste. Particularly noteworthy are the regional ingredients, which give the whole thing an authentic, down-to-earth touch. You can just tell that real passion for good food ends up on the plate here. The service in the dairy is also above average. The staff is attentive, friendly and always strives to ensure that guests have a perfect stay without being intrusive. Questions about dishes were answered competently and warmly, and special requests were taken into account without any problems. All in all, the Meierei is a place where you can not only eat excellent food, but also relax wonderfully. The harmonious combination of great food, cozy ambience and warm service makes every visit a real experience. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

Today we were at “My Meierei Norderney”. We drank coffee and tea there and ate a crab sandwich. Mmmmm...that was really delicious. Afterwards we shopped for the Franzbrötchen spread, mustard and tea. I'm already looking forward to the next breakfast at home with the Norderney feeling.

A must on your Norderney vacation! The dairy is centrally located between the city and the eastern part of the island. There is a lot going on here during the day, as the dairy is ideally located for a stop after trips to the wreck, lighthouse, oasis and whatever else can be discovered in the eastern part of the island. Our apartment was in the immediate vicinity and so we were there in the evening. No matter whether inside or outside. At lunchtime or in the evening the service is good and the atmosphere invites you to linger. In the adjoining Kaden you can browse and buy a number of things from the menu. Whether the beer, spices or Franzbrötchen cream is consistently delicious. However, the eggnog was particularly good 😋 because it was made with raspberry spirit! The food is great, the menu is not overly large, but there is something for every taste and it remains affordable. There are also funny sayings from the service staff. I can recommend it without reservation, I would say a vacation in Norderney is a must!

Clear recommendation! The service is quick, attentive and friendly, and the ambience is exceptional. We have been there many times over the last few years and have never been disappointed. Be sure to try: the various apple juices and spritzers.

We ate delicious cake. The very nice service persuaded us to try a delicious homemade apple liqueur. In our in-house store we have 2 jars of homemade mustard (blueberry and sea bear).

Die Meierei wurde zu einer Art Ausflugslokal umfunktioniert. Innen- und Aussensitzplätze vorhanden. Service ok. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mau: so dürfte gerne auch regionaler Schwarztee angeboten werden statt „Dallmeyer“. Die „Friesentorte“ war ein Witz: 3 Schichten dröger Biskuit, dazwischen dünnst aufgetragen wahrscheinlich Pflaumenmus (genau kann ich es nicht sagen, da aufgrund der geringen Menge geschmacklich nicht von dem viel zu süßen und viel zu drögen Biskuit zu unterscheiden), obenauf dann eine auch sehr dünne Schicht Buttercreme, darauf dann Baiser-Stückchen, dazu etwas aromatisierte Sahne und, was hatte man anderes erwartet… fuderweise Puderzucker.

Wir sind hier bei einer Wanderung über die Insel eingekehrt. Das Lokal hat einen tollen Garten und schönen Gastraum sowie eine gute Auswahl an Speisen. Sie werden optisch schön angerichtet und sind qualitativ sehr gut. Die Preise für die Speisen sind in Bezug ihrer Größe/Menge angemessen und können geteilt werden. Die Preise für Getränke liegen wie auf der gesamten Insel über Großstadtniveau.

A super nice place to relax...sit outside in nice weather and enjoy the sun. We especially like the woodruff and raspberry soda. All the food is of good quality, and the service is excellent. Moving a chair isn't encouraged here; otherwise, everything is great.

Nice restaurant with great food and drinks. Really recommended, although relatively expensive but otherwise that's what you get on the island. What was really negative, however, was that the waitress offered eggnog in such a way that you assumed it was on the house and then it was on the bill. We thought it was bold.

The wow factor sets in as soon as you enter; a feel-good atmosphere. I think it's the only place on the island that doesn't serve frozen cakes. Everything here is made with passion, and you can taste it. The service and value for money are also excellent. The store also offers a variety of takeaways and many other lovely things to buy. Here, too, great attention is paid to quality.

I rarely give all stars because then everything really has to be right. This place has everything you could want. Lovely to sit outside in the lovely sunshine. An employee who takes the order in a relaxed and friendly manner and an excellent meal where our small group was absolutely satisfied. And the price was right in the end. What a great location 😀. We really liked “My Meierei Norderney”, it is exceptional. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food is absolutely amazing and the portions are huge. The additional farm shop is particularly and beautifully designed. All in all just wonderful.
