McDonald's Timme in Leipzig

As always, I love McDonald's, but this one has a little bit of nostalgia - the old GUI on the kiosk brings me back to my childhood. Food was amazing, staff was kind and as they say - I'm lovin' it. Definitely recommend it.

The workers are very kind. They take care of everyone, especially the children. As soon as we found a place to sit, our order was ready. Thanky

I have been to all McDs around the world, I guess. The one I attended today extremes all my never-have-you-ever expectations. I had in issue with my payment at the start, but the manager (I heard he is Vlad, 5 stars just for the name) helped me to resolveit smoothly. He was great, good mannered and brilliant as well as the staff of the exact branch. Tons of love, McD in Leipzig. Highly recommended.

Often very crowded and noisy. Unfortunately, there are hardly any seats available, especially in the evenings. There have often been problems with ordering, as the code wasn't displayed.

The food was very unsatisfying. It was cold and tasted even worse than at a regular McDonald's. The dips were swapped, and the burgers looked absolutely disgusting. I'd rather starve than go there again. The staff there were very incompetent.

Took way too long to a fast food place. Way too crowded and food was lazily out together. The staff was rude and I had to wait 20 minutes just to pay! Never again.

Everything was terrible! They only had one functional bathroom, but it was in a deplorable state. Impossible to use! The staff were extremely unfriendly.

Hello, Well, I like going to McDonald's. Admittedly, the person still had three minutes until opening. She was at my door, opened it, and asked what I wanted. I said, "Yes, I'd like something to eat." Then she said, "We still have a little time" and closed the door again. It opened at 8:01 a.m. Then another person apologized, saying they had to open at 8 sharp. I've never been treated so rudely. They should think about properly trained staff.

Despite the worst reviews, absolutely nothing is changing at this store. They urgently need to replace the staff. They're all lazy, spoiled people who don't want to work at all. Even though the store is almost always half empty, you have to wait forever for orders that are already ready. I was there as a driver to pick up an order. The order was already ready; all they had to do was put an ice cream in it. One damn ice cream! I waited 15 minutes for them to put that ice cream in the bag so I could finally take the order home. This is simply unbelievable. I really hope management finally pays attention to reviews like this. Go to Rackwitzer Straße or the main train station and see how quickly they work there!

A colleague of mine went behind the McCafe and I was banned from the premises. That's completely unacceptable!

When I entered the store, there were no customers at the counter, and the employees were standing around looking bored. Only one young employee was diligently replenishing supplies and checking to see if anyone needed help. When I finished my order at the terminal, the employees preparing the food started working in a very annoyed and bored manner. One of the two employees even wiped her nose with her hand before assembling the burgers. That's unacceptable! The lattice fries had also been in the fryer far too long. I don't know if the manager was even there or if it was the bored employee busy arranging the decorations, but that obviously doesn't make a good impression. The upper floor was cordoned off, so you could only eat downstairs. When a lot of students and a family with two wheelchair users came into the store, all the seats were taken. The upper floor should have been opened up to spread out the space better, and the family with the wheelchairs would have had better, more comfortable seating. There is no elevator here.

It wasn't busy, but I still had to wait 20 minutes. I got the wrong burger, and my nuggets were missing. €7 wasted, thanks.

Resembles a station control room

Coupons aren't accepted, the floor is sticky, and wait times are endless. By far the worst McDonald's in town.

Today I wanted to eat inside because it was raining outside. However, all the seats downstairs were taken. When I tried to go upstairs, a member of staff kindly asked me to go back down. Despite a slight language barrier and asking if I should eat standing up (with a full tray), I was just smiled at and mentioned something about cleaning, even though the person left afterwards without cleaning anything. The staff behind the cash register noticed this, and the number of people coming in was increasing, but there was no action to open the upstairs area.

Employees don't speak German, which isn't really a problem at McDonald's. The food is unhealthy, as usual. The smell of junk food hangs in the air.

Why do McDonald's employees work without gloves? This employee first pulled up her pants and then put fries on the table... Another employee picked something up from the floor and used the same hands to take the food. It looks very unhygienic. They might wash their hands, but that doesn't change the basics. Bacteria stay under the nails. What if an employee forgets to wash their hands after using the restroom? I demand that the wearing of disposable gloves be mandatory for restaurant employees.

Tables and seating were very dirty.

You should definitely avoid this place on Friday nights. There isn't a single table that isn't covered from top to bottom with leftover food and spilled drinks. It's just disgusting.

Only drank one ☕ and ate one 🥐. A nice young lady served us.

We just wanted to get a quick meal and something to drink. There was already a huge crowd. So we waited forever to order and finally get our food. While McDonald's and its employees can't be blamed for this, we still feel a bit uncomfortable. The food was typically thrown together. The order was warm, too.

Last Saturday, around 10:50–10:55 PM, I ordered from McDonald's (order number 288). I bought two boxes of chicken nuggets for about €25. The corn dogs at the top of the box were freshly prepared, but at the bottom were some that were old and no longer fresh. The same thing happened with the second box. About 10 minutes later, I went back to the counter to show them the problem. The employee asked me how long it had been since I'd bought them. When I replied "10 minutes," she said she wouldn't replace anything because I'd already eaten more than five. I explained that I had indeed tried several, but that I only wanted the old pieces replaced, not the entire order. Despite this, she refused and was also rude and disrespectful. I find this very unfair, as I paid a high price and should expect freshly prepared food—not stale. I showed her the problem, but it was ignored. I hope McDonald's takes this incident seriously and improves both the quality of its products and its customer service. Ultimately, customers are paying for service that isn't provided properly.

Of course, I understand that this is not Ukrainian Mac, and in Germany the requirements for Mac are not so strict... but: they have never put a full order. Most often, they forget the sauce. They do not put napkins. And if you ask, they will give one for a huge order. Yes, they will never give a bag if you take it with you and there are many items. They offer to carry coffee, ice cream, a cocktail, a bag with a Happy Meal, and a couple of bags with a Mac menu in two hands. They will not give you any bag themselves, they will not offer it. Every time I ask them, although I note that the order is "to go". For them, "to go" differs from "here" only in that in the first case, they dump it all on a tray, and in the second, they just hand it into your hands. Yes, and if you decide to take a Happy Meal, then with a 50% probability they will give you a toy from a completely different collection than the one you selected on the terminal when ordering. Just don't expect much from this Mac and always check your order if it's "to go". And of course, no one will ever give you an apology voucher for a long wait (and it's always long here). And the screen that shows order numbers and their status almost always doesn't work.

There's no need to recommend it; it's well known and well attended.

The food is still warm. No weird ice cubes in the drinks. We even got a free chicken nugget.

During my visit to this branch today, I saw a cockroach in the dining area. When I pointed it out to the employee, he simply said it was "normal" and could happen. I find this statement absolutely unacceptable in a restaurant. Hygiene should be the top priority, and an incident like this—coupled with this reaction—leaves a very bad impression. I would never go there again.

Cleanliness is a disaster here. Unless you're looking for a coffee to go, you should steer clear of this place.

Vouchers and the McDonald's app don't work here, and the screen where you see your order doesn't display anything either. This is right in the center.

My order was delivered incorrectly – a hamburger was missing. I told the woman that one hamburger was missing, and she asked me which one was missing. Apparently, she didn't understand German very well and asked if I spoke English. I don't understand that; we live in Germany. Then I told her to check my order, and she replied that she didn't have time. I had to remove eight hamburgers from my order so she would understand that one was missing. And she didn't even apologize. If she asks me if I speak English, can I just speak Spanish there? I don't think so.

Never again. The toilet was disgusting, no toilet paper. The staff were very unfriendly. Waited half an hour for the food, which was cold... The tables were sticky. The trolleys were overflowing. Not recommended!!!!!!

Haben dort gegessen. Pommes sind ungewürzt und schmecken wie alte harte Nudeln. Die Cola bestand zu 90% aus Eiswürfeln. Bei der Bestellung waren mehrere Fehler. Es kam eine kleine Sache statt einer großen und es kamen Sachen dazu. Es fehlte eine Soße und man muss an der Kasse ewig warten.

I can't recommend it, things weren't brought along, a dirty shop with broken screens.

I was there on June 26, 2024, at approximately 5:40 p.m. I would like to express my deep regret for the negative experience I had at one of your stores. I have always expected a high standard of service from you, but unfortunately, my last experience was very disappointing. I had purchased a meal at one of your stores that included a carton of juice. Since I hadn't opened the carton yet, I wanted to exchange it for a different variety. When I approached the employee, she declined the exchange and refused to take the carton back, even though I showed her the receipt. I then asked for the store manager, hoping he would understand and consider the situation. To my surprise, he also refused to exchange or take back the carton of juice. Even though I again showed him the receipt and told him I no longer wanted the carton, he took it and simply put it in the refrigerator without refunding me. When I then tried to buy a new juice carton of the desired flavor, he refused to sell me a single carton. This experience was extremely disappointing and not what I'm used to from McDonald's. I hope you take this incident seriously and take appropriate measures to ensure similar situations are avoided in the future.

At 9:00 p.m., the employee threw the older fries that had been sitting out for a while back with the fresh ones from the packaging. My fries were now mostly fresh, with 30% of them being old, hard fries. Besides that, McDonald's is very dirty inside.

Worst McDonald's in town: dirty, long wait times, and the points system and app don't work. Only one restroom, where you have to wait 10 minutes, is absolutely disgusting. There's poop and water (maybe other liquids) on the floor.

The service is disgusting👎I wanted to pay for an order made on the terminal, stood for about 10 minutes waiting for someone to pay attention, as a result three people from the staff serve one and the rest are not paid any attention. This is the worst McDonald's we have ever visited.

I had a pretty flat McDonald's burger. As if it had been squashed into something? I was sitting upstairs, with pretty loud music. It was a bit too loud! And then...the restroom...was so dirty. I was in the women's room, so what do the men's restrooms look like? It was really, really dirty...

Incredibly bad service – order spoiled and incomplete! I am absolutely disappointed with my visit to McDonald's today. Our takeout order was prepared with complete carelessness: Three meals were simply placed haphazardly on the counter – without a bag, without a tray, nothing labeled or sorted. Another employee then pressed a paper bag into my hand, whereupon the first employee slowly and completely uncoordinatedly began to somehow place the order into the bag. After only two meters, the Coke tipped over in the bag because it wasn't secured in the slightest(!). At first, I thought it was my fault – even though the mood was already at rock bottom due to the chaos. Outside the restaurant, we tried to repack the soggy products into a dry bag, but it was too late: Everything was wet, and as we were leaving, we realized the food was no longer edible – the fries and burgers were completely soggy from the cola. In the end, we simply threw away the entire order, worth 30 euros. And then the next shock: A burger and an apple turnover were completely missing(!). This isn't the first time our order was incomplete. But today was the absolute lowest point. We will never set foot in a McDonald's branch again. It's unacceptable that you have to check every single order because something is constantly missing. If your employees don't want to work, then they shouldn't ruin the reputation of a company that's supposed to stand for reliability. Thrown away 30 euros – due to negligence. Absolutely outrageous.

The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. My friends and I received two McFlurrys as gifts because they accidentally made too many. Very good service.

This branch isn't a restaurant, it's a torture chamber. I wasn't initially convinced by MC's. But I let myself be persuaded to go with two friends and one of his daughters. It was a good decision not to order. My friend's order was angrily rejected, and my boyfriend's was thrown loosely onto a tray. The little girl's toilet was also in a miserable state. When my friend wanted to use the disabled restroom because she couldn't climb the stairs to the others because of her leg, the explanation was, "Since you can get to the counter without a walker, you can go up." I guarded said walker at the time. The upshot was that both of my friends also had stomach problems, and one was in bed with a fever and nausea. I'm just glad the little one didn't get it. One star for the ambience, even just for the neighbor's Wi-Fi. As for the food and service, they'd have to pay us. Yes, the job is stressful and incredibly hard, but only if you do your job. Bottom line: close the place.

I was very disappointed with my visit. The food was cold when served. When I politely pointed this out to the waitress, I received a rude and unprofessional response. This has nothing to do with a fast-food restaurant. The wait was very long. Tables were dirty everywhere. When we asked when they would be cleaned, we were told it would be done soon. Nothing was done.

The waiters talk instead of taking the money and serving the customers. I waited almost 10 minutes to find out that they were just chatting amongst themselves while I was waiting to be charged. I left without my order nothing, I wasn't going to wait all day for someone to take my payment

The restroom on the ground floor is very questionable in terms of cleanliness. The floor was so sticky that I was glad to be able to get out with my shoes on, and the surrounding area was anything but clean.

Unfortunately, ordering via the app was not possible. The tables on the upper floor seemed like they hadn't been wiped down for a long time.

Absolute chaos! Order wrong, burger cold and dry, fries soggy, and that was on the premises! The employee with the star stickers on her face was completely incompetent. The store was completely empty, and the cashier was completely relaxed, doing everything except handing out the food. There was one person in front of me, and I had to wait 10 minutes for a simple chicken, cheeseburger, coke, and fries. Instead of a chicken burger, we got a chili cheeseburger. And sure, mistakes are human, but I have absolutely no understanding for someone completely relaxed while doing other things. Both burgers were definitely sitting there for more than 10 minutes. The bread was bone dry and hardened, the cheese had dried into the paper, and there was basically no sauce on them. I also absolutely cannot understand how you can get completely soggy and unsalted fries on the premises. So, it was all truly catastrophic. You have to keep emphasizing that the store was empty. Otherwise, I would have been completely understanding. So no recommendation for this McDonald's!

Dear team, Thank you very much for your efforts, but unfortunately my visit today was not satisfactory. Even though there were only a few guests present, I wondered where the staff's thoughts were. I had ordered breakfast, but unfortunately a burger was missing. Of course it can happen that an article is not available, but in this case I would have liked some brief information or an alternative suggestion. For me it's not about the €2.49, but rather about the principle. If I were to act like this in my own business, it would quickly be perceived as unfair or even deceptive. I will certainly take a closer look in the future, as my trust has unfortunately been somewhat tarnished by this experience. I hope you will accept my feedback as constructive advice and consider improvements accordingly.

Probably the rancidest mces in all of Leipzig. I was here today for the first time in 2 years... what can you say? The shop is in an absolutely miserable condition. Dirty, worn out and the toilet disgustingly dirty. The sauce was forgotten on my ice cream. There was a homeless man sitting behind us the whole time who was shouting at the whole store. But don't thank me again. Edit: I had a stomach ache all evening and had to throw up.

The restaurant was full, but the upstairs area was cordoned off for seating. There were no seats left on the ground floor so I was told I would have to eat outside. Not only was it very cold at 6 degrees, the benches were also completely wet and I was approached twice by beggars asking if I could give them something to eat. In the end I was frozen. Super bad service, that's not possible!

Disappointing experience – Not recommended We had booked a birthday party for our 9-year-old son weeks in advance and were even confirmed by phone a week in advance that everything would take place as planned. The disappointment was all the greater when we discovered on site that nothing had been prepared - no reserved table, no responsible contact person, nothing. It was obvious that our booking had simply been forgotten. After our complaint, something was organized for the children, but that couldn't save the disappointing first impression. Especially at a children's birthday party, you expect reliability and a certain level of organization - unfortunately neither was present here. Overall, a disappointing experience that we definitely won't have again.

A burger was missing and we even paid more!

This is the type of fast food store you would imagine in the subway in Brooklyn. The store is dirty and dirty from the entrance to the counter or last chair. But the crowning glory is the only toilet. The trash cans have never been cleaned and the sanitary napkins and diapers are piling up. The bowl and tiles are full of excrement and there is no toilet paper at all. It's unbelievable how McDonald's as a company allows something like this to happen.

Nothing from McDonalds works. Fast food takes ages!

I was really shocked last time, the atmosphere was anything but appealing, there was an unbearable smell in the air and unfortunately it seemed very unkempt. Location is so great, please take advantage of it.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience here. The store was very busy and it took an unusually long time to receive my coffee - I had to wait about 15 minutes. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, although they were friendly. A tip: Maybe management could improve operations to reduce waiting times, especially during peak times. Otherwise the atmosphere is like any other McDonald’s.

As a Berliner who travels around a lot, I have to say that this was one of my best McDonald's experiences. Fresh fries, good service, just great ;).

Dirty tables, overwhelmed staff, not a great experience. Nevertheless, the burgers were good and the shakes also tasted as usual. We hope that the process will be better at some point.

Unfortunately there are no longer scrambled eggs in the breakfast menu. Otherwise everything was fine and it happened very quickly.

A good McDonald's with fast service. The food is delicious as always, especially the burgers and fries. The coffee area could be a bit cozier, but otherwise a solid place to enjoy a quick meal. Friendly staff completes the picture.

How can you run such a mess in a McDonald's that actually has a standard of hygiene? The toilet is not only an imposition but the last thing, the tables and the floor are simply disgusting.
