I had a Big King, but it felt about the size of a hamburger. I rarely go to Burger King, but somehow everything has gotten smaller; even the Whopper is 2 cm shorter in diameter. And the toilet didn't have paper for drying.

I often buy a Big King XXL at the drive-thru, which actually costs 8.49. However, since they only accept debit card payments, and the price on the machine isn't always visible from the driver's seat, I naturally hold up my card out of trust. I then saw on the printout that I was charged 9.49 for the burger! When I asked, the cashier said the price had gone up. Aha, well, if that's the way it is. I then looked up the prices afterwards, and yes, it now costs 8.79 - but not 9.49! So, people, be careful when paying with your card! It would also be nice if there was a complete price list at the order counter, not just the one for the meals. Update October 2025: The XXL now costs €10.19; prices are rising faster than gas at the gas station! And still no price information at the drive-thru; that was my last visit to BK.

This is definitely not a fast-food restaurant. I only ordered chicken nuggets...the terminal receipt was at 2:41 p.m. I received the nuggets, which had already been in the warming dispenser for four minutes, at 3 p.m. There's an organizational problem there, which employee is responsible for what. Several people were lurking around, but each was responsible for everything. Another customer in front of me was even missing half of his order.

We stopped at the Burger King on the way home. Ordering via the self-service terminal worked great. Unfortunately, that was the only positive thing. In total, we waited half an hour for our food. The sauces were missing, the fries were cold, and the nuggets were soggy instead of crispy. The new kebab burger wasn't cooked through, and we had to wait another 20 minutes for a replacement. We will never visit this Burger King again.

Extremely slow work even though it wasn't busy. Yesterday at lunch, I stood in line for a full 15 minutes for three regular meals without any special requests. The young man at the cash register seemed very unsure, miscalculated, and had to double-check on his personal phone because he couldn't understand the cash register. The manager miscounted the number of pieces while frying because he preferred to chat with his friend and was more concerned with his appearance than with his work. That's completely unacceptable. I've been satisfied so far, but in the future, I'll drive past and just sandwich.

I recently ate at Burger King on Permoserstrasse in Leipzig and was overall satisfied. The orders were prepared quickly and the staff was friendly. The burgers were fresh and flavorful, as you would expect from Burger King. The decor and cleanliness of the restaurant were also fine. A small point of criticism was that taking orders seemed a bit chaotic as there were a few misunderstandings during the lunch rush. But that didn't affect the quality of the food. Overall, a good choice for a quick and tasty burger - I'll be back!

Burger King Detmold My visit to Burger King in Detmold was disappointing. The king rib - surprisingly vegan - was extremely dry, and the far too little amount of barbecue sauce couldn't save the bland taste. The organization was chaotic: You order at the terminal, but have to stand at the counter to pick up the order because there are no displays or announcements. Conclusion: Neither the food nor the process were convincing - definitely room for improvement.

Actually no star at all, burgers were on the verge of inedible. Instead of oval bread you get round, normal, limp bread without communication. The pepperoni also tasted like they were a week old, quite strange... Iceberg lettuce was soggy, and the composition of the ingredients was also more than poor. The food is different – sometimes good, sometimes terrible. The service is usually lazy, most of the employees stand around and do nothing, which means you have to wait an extremely long time for orders. The food is often cold even though you eat on site. It's the easiest job in the world to put food in bags, but some people can't even do that. You go there for a burger and fries and you don't get any fries. Es gibt nur eine Sache, über die ich fluchen könnte: Warum habt ihr 4 Lieferautos auf dem Parkplatz zu stehen, aber kein Personal, welches Bestellungen auch ausliefert. Online war es jedenfalls nicht möglich gewesen sich die Bestellung liefern zu lassen. Bin dann mit meinem Auto an den Drive Inn gefahren, habe das Essen auch heiß bekommen. Fahre dann aber 800 Meter bis nach Hause, suche mir einen Parkplatz, weil keiner vor der Tür, laufe nach Hause, öffne die Tüte und das Essen ist kalt. The food was as expected, you get what you order. The service was nice, but I have concerns about hygiene. The cashier touched her mouth several times, occasionally took out her chewing gum and operated the touchscreen. Without putting on gloves or washing her hands, she then prepared my fries, also touching individual fries. That wouldn't have been okay back then, but especially after or during a pandemic, one still hopes that individual employees are a little more aware of hygiene. The restaurant itself was relatively okay and clean under the circumstances. The burgers were delicious - just like you would imagine at a Burger King. Update: Two years ago I had negative experiences with basic hygiene at this Burger King, but I still generously gave it 3 stars. Unfortunately, I now have to correct this rating downwards because you can now only pay by card in this restaurant. Problems in operations are not customer problems. Suggested solutions would be to hire a security guard, better camera surveillance or emptying the cash registers more regularly. You can still pay in cash at the gas station right next door, even though there are break-ins. Until you can pay as you please again, I will avoid this restaurant and leave my rating at one star instead of 3. And even if that's possible again, you should think twice about ordering from a restaurant that doesn't care about hygiene and where the employees aren't trained and monitored accordingly. Other reviews, for example, focus on the garbage that accumulates during busy times. So it seems that very little has improved.

I ordered a snack and waited, I stood in front of the counter and watched the employees playing in the middle of eating and having no qualifications for this type of work, guns full of hair and no hats to prepare food, people without the appropriate kitchen clothes, that move freely around the room, and the worst thing, when I got home to eat my snack, there was hair in my burger, the only thing I could do was throw up. Redeemed the coupon “2x large fries for the price of one” via the app and received a total of 170g of fries for €4. On the one hand, the price is incredibly high for a "large" portion of fries and I actually get 2x small/medium fries for the coupon. Absolute no-go. We were at the Drive Inn on Sunday lunchtime and had to wait 20 minutes (two cars were in front of us). When we finally got the food, the fries were completely missing, the strawberry milkshake we ordered was vanilla, there was mayo instead of ketchup and the juice we ordered also had the wrong taste. Because of all the stress, we were wished for a nice evening. 🤣

I usually put a lot of effort into writing reviews—but not here. We ordered through Lieferando late Sunday evening. As a result, the delivery time was quite long. The burgers were okay. However, the fries were very similar to those of their well-known competitors. I'd like to give a positive shout-out to the delivery guy—he brought our food to the second floor and was very friendly. Otherwise, if you're hungry for burgers, it's best to order from your favorite restaurant, which you'd otherwise choose, before 10:00 PM.

Bad service, unmotivated employees, something's always missing from the order. Today my children were waiting for their long-awaited Happy Meal because of the Squishmallows. I was able to choose them at the terminal. What did I get? Two Smurf figures. My child was so disappointed that he cried for a good 30 minutes. And unfortunately, he's neurodivergent and reacts particularly sensitively to such "unpredictable circumstances"...

Not bad for the price, but the onion ring was very soggy and not crispy, the burger had sauce only on one side resulting in it being very dry and stuffy but also too saucy. Could have been better.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with my visit to your branch. I waited over 30 minutes for four chicken nugget burgers. I wasn't the only one affected – all the other customers in the restaurant had their order numbers in front of them and were also waiting significantly longer than usual. No one received their food. It's hard to imagine how long customers who ordered larger meals must have to wait. "Fast food" was certainly not the word for it that day. I strongly recommend that the branch team receive training in speed and organization. If there are employees who clearly lack motivation for their jobs, a personnel review would be advisable from a customer perspective. I request that you investigate this incident and hope for a significant improvement in service. Sincerely,
