Burger King in Leipzig

Not at all like it used to be... You don't have to have it... unfortunately the food was also very poor

This Burger King branch is by far the worst representation of the company I have visited in the last 35 years and is a disgrace to Burger King. If necessary, BK should check its franchisees anonymously more often. If I were authorized to give instructions to BK, the licensee would lose his license. The first thing that was unpleasantly noticeable was that the toilet doors were secured with coin-operated machines (entrance fee 50 cents), probably as a measure against toilet tourism, but there was no indication from the staff that use was apparently free for "paying" Burger King customers. It's additional income and why pay attention to it? The toilet paper was missing in the toilet and overall the toilet seemed unkempt. The icing on the cake was the behavior of the employee at the counter, who, as is usual these days, obviously also had to look after the drive-in. Another (friendly) employee placed the tray with our order on the counter, but had filled it very poorly during the order processing. All the drinks, 2 large vanilla milkshakes and a large Cola Zero were on the left and the by far lighter burgers, nuggets and fries took up the middle and right part of the tray. Unfortunately I saw this too late, picked up the tray, turned very slowly with the tray and wanted to go to our table. Immediately the 3 cups with the drinks tipped over and a milkshake and the cola fell to the floor and the contents spilled onto the floor. I was able to save the third cup and tray onto the counter. I immediately turned to the employee and told her that I would need a cloth and/or a wiper to personally clean up the mess. The reaction I expected from BK would have been: either A: "Come straight away, it's nice of you that you want to clean the floor yourself" or B: "No problem, we'll do that for you (of course)" in each case combined with the sentence : “You will of course get new drinks from us”. Instead, all I got was a very annoyed “yes, someone is coming soon”. End result: I had my t-shirt and pants full of cola and milkshake, and two drinks that, with a lot of imagination, contained a maximum of 1/3 of liquid, or even less. A vanilla milkshake for 4.49 a.m. and a maximum of 1 euro. Same with Cola. Maybe the employee waited to see if the customer asked for a replacement and if not, he was just out of luck. For me it is a typical service oasis in Germany. As already written, the employee seemed overwhelmed and visibly annoyed. The Burger King branch will never see me again and, as already written above, BK should think about service quality standards for its franchisees. In the future in this region I would prefer to go to a competitor with the capital M. I just felt ripped off, ripped off and treated completely disrespectfully. Addition from 10/26/24: The fact that after 3 months there was no reaction to this post from the local management or from Burger King itself says it all. Apparently such behavior is normal there and is covered by management and Burger King doesn't seem to care who represents their name. The main thing is that sales are right. Sad reality: Germany is a service desert

I don't accept cash even though we are in Germany and anyone who can pay has to be served. Unless you are unfriendly and I understand that, but I'm in transit and have to eat something. I don't have a card anymore because my card doesn't work, I don't know why and I can't eat anything. I have to drive on for 4 hours because I can't leave the heavy transport that I'm now accompanying. Joke, some local tits don't know anything about German laws

Burger King. Ordering was also possible at terminals, preparation was quick (it's also fast food), cleanliness was good. Toilets also clean. The toilets are free for customers.

Even during my lunch break it wasn't overly crowded. One star deducted because the order can only be placed via the machine :-(

A Burger King like many others.

How bad can you actually run a shop like that, a lady who works there and she is responsible for everything just so that the boss can save money. You wait 20 minutes in the drive for two cheeseburgers, that's called fast food 😂😁

There's a lot of advertising for the new tortillas, but the restaurant doesn't have them in stock because they don't have the device. Great action

An ordinary Burger King by the highway. Plenty of places to stop, a large gas station right next door. We found a time when almost no one was there. Everything so fast, tidy... For me, a good place to stop on the way along the A14. Even with a truck.

Waiting time a bit long otherwise perfect

It was full, waiting time of over 20 minutes. There weren't enough staff for the rush, so the employees seemed rushed.

I would like to give -10 stars. The staff very unfriendly. To use the toilets you have to ask and wait until they open the door. My niece wasn't feeling well because of the long journey. She couldn't wait any longer and had to throw up. Because it took too long for them to open the door, she threw up in front of everyone. You then asked the employees for something to wipe. And only got a disgusting look back. We then got paper towels and spray from the car and cleaned it.

It's terrible how long it took😥 I waited 28 minutes for my order😤 This is outrageous! The food is cold!!! The burgers have been sitting there for 15 minutes, ready to cool. This is not a fast food restaurant! It absolutely does not correspond to its status! Refund your money for this cold, tasteless order!

Why does it take so long in Drive? The second time in a short time that the waiting time is forever. I don't feel like it anymore. I'll pass for a long time first.

Very nice atmosphere, very clean and friendly staff

The whole room smells like chip fat. Employees pointed this out and only received stupid comments. It could be that the ventilation is broken 🤷. One of my mass orders [2 citizens] was cold. So I don't need anything like that.

One of the women was in a bad mood. In general it wasn't that good. We prefer to drive to our Bürger King around the corner, we only stopped because we were passing through.

Like every Burger King, with the exception that only 3 of the 4 order terminals were defective. Toilets only via bell. But if you go out and someone else goes straight in, you can save yourself having to ring the bell. Food was not good, everyone who ate was not feeling well a few hours later.

Worst visit to a bk ever Dry buns and raw meat

The food tastes good and meets the typical Burger King standard. Unfortunately, there are some points that often make the visit less pleasant. Employees often appear overwhelmed, especially at peak times, which is likely due to poor planning. This leads to longer waiting times and sometimes errors in orders. Overall it's okay for a quick bite, but there's definitely room for improvement in the service area. App doesn't seem to work as it should either.

The payment and ordering system is flawed, forced-selling and more cumbersome than the traditional human-contact method. The goods are less and seem carelessly prepared. Conclusion: I simply won't eat at Burger King anymore!

The furnishings seem very spartan, the room echoes with conversations and orders at the counter. Looks like a train station hall. Employees/staff are nice and polite 👍

We've been waiting for 1 drink and 2 ice creams for 20 minutes. The store is almost empty... The toilets weren't really clean (given that they are chargeable and were only opened for discussion for paying customers!)

Normal food of known quality, but unfortunately we had to wait a long time.

Absolutely poor cleaning service... comes to the table and starts wiping, half of the crumbs that were on the table ended up on my pants. When I asked what was wrong with him...? You could have asked... his answer: yes, yes, you could have done that...

Opening times are not observed. Open until 10 p.m., but you can only eat there until 9:30 p.m. then the very nice lady comes with a tone that makes you think about whether you want to eat something else or leave! Everyone who was there certainly knows which lady is meant 😅 The rest of the staff was super nice! Unfortunately, people often forget to pack something, so check it immediately 😇😇😇 Otherwise everything is great!

Actually been my regular BK. Unfortunately, since the app was changed, some vouchers are no longer accepted there. Without vouchers, the price-performance ratio is no longer guaranteed. It's a shame that no one will see me here anymore.

The restaurant is not recommended at lunchtime; if you cannot offer any service because there is a shortage of staff, you should leave the place alone. The staff urgently needs to be adjusted here. The waiting time of over 25 minutes for a restaurant that is not even half full is incomprehensible.

Only had a drink, it was fine and tidy inside. Cigarette box is right in front of the entrance, could be a little more to the side. Now you walk along the air of it. I didn't like that.

Hello, ordered 4 burgers 🍔 with bacon and 2 coffees on April 25th, 2024 around 3:40 p.m. After 3 hours I had diarrhea on the way to vacation. Things were going badly. Next day still like that. My robbery money would have to be refunded. I'm very sure it came from you because I only ate cake at 9 a.m.

Overwhelmed staff, one employee at lunchtime during the holidays who processes the orders is not enough. We had to wait 30 minutes for our food with only 5 orders in front of us. Furthermore, if you want to go to the toilet, you have to contact the staff so that they can unlock the doors at the push of a button. If things have to happen quickly and the staff, who are already overwhelmed with the order, then have to deal with it, things get unfriendly.

Very bad cooperation I'm not happy anymore

Can't be beaten in terms of disgust. Waited 30 minutes for the order of three burgers (for over seven euros each). Restaurant completely overcrowded, not enough seats, tables not cleaned. There is trash everywhere, in the hallways, under the tables, on the tables. The toilets smell incredibly bad and there is rubbish on the floor here too. The only thing missing to complete the impression was a brown pile on a table. Maybe I just overlooked it. Are the employees proud to work here?

I recently went to this Burger King and I have to say I was very impressed! The service was quick and friendly, which you can't always expect in this day and age. My burger was fresh and delicious - exactly what I was hoping for. The fries were also crispy and not too salty. I particularly liked the cleanliness of the restaurant; It seemed as if great importance was placed on hygiene here. The atmosphere was also pleasant, so you could enjoy your burger in peace. Overall, this Burger King offers a great experience and I will definitely be back.

Finally a place where you can be satisfied.

The concept of ordering on the computer including dehumanizing the staff is really bad anyway. But if the technology is bad and the reduced staff is not reduced, you stand in front of the counter, shake your head with 15 other people and have to scream loudly so that the poor staff release the toilet to go take a piss. Everyone really benefits from that. If that's the future, I'm not there. Never again. 2 coffees, 2 pees = 40min.

The steakhouse burger was OK. I didn't like the fries. If you want to go to the toilet, you have to ask the staff first. Ambience not particularly child-friendly, there isn't even a play area.

I actually don't know where to start. I was on the way to a factory tour and still had time and hunger. Since I still knew the restaurant from my tours (that was 10 years ago), I just wanted to eat something there. So I went in and waited at the checkout (there was still one person in front of me). When it was my turn, the employee said no orders at the checkout but only at the terminals (I was already angry at that). So go to one and start. This order took about 5-10 minutes. When selecting payment, payment was then possible again at the checkout (exactly where I was turned away from ordering in person). After I had eaten and dropped off my trash at the designated place, I wanted to go to the toilet. The next low blow came at the door. A note directed you back to the cash register to collect the key. Since I clearly didn't feel comfortable running after the key, I left the restaurant just as upset as I was when I was greeted. I won't be seen there again. Progress (here the terminals) can also be a step backwards.

Ordering via computer terminal worked well even for me, an inexperienced person. At the end of the order, various payment options can be selected. Including cash payments. The young, heavily tattooed employee was not happy with the payment method I had chosen. He called me a cash junky and had no time for such nonsense! He didn't have time to tell me his name either. I looked in vain for a name tag on my clothes. In the entrance area there was an extreme smell of overheated frying oil. This is what the fried food looked like! "Nice" dark brown" The package contained fries and potato wedges, well mixed and properly over-fried. The burger was ordered with extra cheese. It was delivered that way but... The original slice of cheese had melted properly, the additional cheese we ordered was on top, unmelted! How does it work when everything is freshly prepared? All in all: not recommended!

Bestellung über Terminal funktionierte gut und es gab dort auch die Möglichkeit bar an der Kasse zu zahlen. Dieser vom Resturant als Service angeboten wurde ist dem Angestellten "stark bebildertem" jungen Mann am Schalter offenbar eine Zumutung. Ich wurde als "Bargeldjunky" beschimpft und er hätte keine Zeit für solchen Quatsch!!! Er hatte Nichteinhaltung Zeit mir seinen Namen zu verraten. Ein Namensschild an der Kleidung suchte ich vergebens. Zeit scheint hier wirklich ein Problem źu sein. Die fehlt offenbar auch für den Ölwechsel der Frittiergeräte. Im Gastraum roch es nach überhiztem Öl und so sahen die Pommes und was sich sonst noch so in der Tüte tummelten auch aus! Das Essen befindet sich vermutlich schon lange in der Warmhaltung, denn der Käse der standardmäßig dazu gehört war vollends zerlassen, der extra geforderte Käse nicht. Der Gastraum war kaum besucht und auch der Parkplatz war recht dünn ausgelastet. Fazit: unfreundlich und nicht gerade die beste Zubereitung! Nicht empfehlenswert!

Food totally disgusting, employees totally overwhelmed, toilet facilities are terrible, the train station toilets are cleaner. Half of the order was missing. I wouldn't advise anyone to stop here. In my opinion, Citizen King should be closed...

I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Was here for the first time today. The order arrived quickly, hot and with love. An employee even made the effort to bring us something because part of the order took 2 minutes longer. I'd love to come back here. I hope the Spicy Chicken Louisiana sticks around for a while. Rarely have I had such a tasty distiller. :) I thought it was really good

It's a Burger King, as far as the standard goes. What struck me positively here was the peace and quiet. There was no annoying music playing in the background. And the staff (thanks to the ordering computer you don't have to talk to anyone) speak German as their native language. I'm not used to that from other fast food restaurants.

This was the third time something was missing from the bag. You have to check every time that everything has been packed.

I've always been happy here, but this is the second time I've had cold and carelessly prepared burgers. The staff was also quite unfriendly. You now have to pay money for the toilet if you don't order in the restaurant. Überrascht war ich über die Sauberkeit und das Essen war auch gut. Das einzige was mir gar nicht gefiel, war am Tresen zu stehen und darum zu betteln, dass die Toilettentür geöffnet wird. Hier sollte doch eine andere Lösung, zum Beispiel QR-CODE zum scannen oder ähnliches gefunden werden.
