McDonald's Restaurant in Bonn

McDonald's is truly crap: portions are getting smaller and smaller, more and more expensive, and worse and worse – those lime and chili fries are impossible to eat, that powder just makes you cough and sneeze so you can barely eat, and the fries taste so much better without it, especially since there's no chili in them anyway, so you can forget about the spice. When the powder sticks all over your hands, it's twice as annoying, of course, when they're once again skimping on tissues and you have to wipe your hands with the empty fries bag. Of course, the sauces were once again dispensed incorrectly, and the Happy Meal toys apparently aren't freely selectable anymore, which used to be different. Conclusion: another company that keeps demanding more money and delivers less and less, simply disappointing.

It's a good McDonald's, but there are a lot of people, few free tables, and often not enough trays, so I recommend going to the McDonald's at the train station, about 200 meters away, on platform 1.

At this McDonald's, you can place your order not only at the terminals but also at the counter, which I think is great! The employees are also always very friendly. Table was dirty and service is slow and meat was not cooked properly

The worst McDonald's between Cologne and Bonn (and maybe even beyond). The hygiene conditions are unacceptable, the floor is filthy, the tables are littered, and the tray carts are overflowing. Hello, we were at McS today and ordered a Coke Zero. When we picked up our food and quickly ran to the bus, we noticed that we didn't have Coke Zero, just a mixture of water and sweetener😡😡😢 very disappointing!

Horrible!!! I placed a large order and then wanted to order an ice cream. The app suggested table service, and I chose that. I waited 10 minutes and then went downstairs to inquire. There, I was rudely told that smaller orders like this wouldn't be brought to the table. My ice cream sat in the kitchen for 10 minutes and didn't look like ice cream anymore... How am I supposed to know that if the app itself suggests table service and doesn't give any error notifications??? I can't recommend this McDonald's to anyone.

Service is terrible. I've given this branch several chances to prove itself and have been disappointed once again. It's very sad that only the same demographic works there. Doesn't McDonald's stand for diversity? German skills are mediocre, rather poor. They give out fresh produce first and simply put yours aside instead of replacing it if it's the same. They take out the first product and put the new one aside, rather than leaving it on the side for 10 minutes. With a business like this, the head office shouldn't be surprised why the numbers are declining.

The McDonald's employee who served us was a real... None of us misbehaved, and yet a friend was thrown out. I'll never go here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

I ordered food. I then waited 25 minutes for my food, even though it wasn't busy. The fries sat in the bag for about 15 minutes until the burgers were ready. The employees kept disappearing into the back areas, so no one was up front.

Very disappointing. I ordered a menu with a toy/game that was not available, but no one informed me. Also, I specifically wanted Nutella and received a different chocolate spread I didn’t ask for. Poor communication and careless service. I also lost a lot of loyalty points for nothing.

Hello, on April 22, 2025 I went shopping for lunch. I ordered a salad with honey mustard dressing, a Fanta, nine chicken nuggets and a large portion of fries to go. The chicken wasn't cut properly and the cucumbers were practically whole. I sent a video showing this.

The place is dirty, filthy, stinks, bad service. They didn't give us what we ordered. The manager was rude and used foul language. Employees lied about giving us the food in the order. Don't go near.

I wanted to get my menu (12.90!!!!) Have a straw. The answer: "I don't have any".... Whatever that means, in whatever language. The McDonald's looks pretty worn out. The facility should be renewed. It doesn't look particularly inviting for a meal in the suburbs. We had to wait a long time for the order. There weren't that many employees there, I only saw three.

I eat here often because of its proximity to the bus station. The food is consistently good (as you would expect from a McDonald's). The employees are also friendly and help customers with problems, for example with the electronic ordering process, which has actually become more common since the MC Donalds app was changed because many people confuse this MC Donalds in their app with the MC Donalds at the main station (this is Poststraße) . However, I can't say anything about the frequently mentioned problems with the toilets, as I haven't had to take advantage of this offer yet. Overall, I would say that the MC Donalds on Poststrasse is an absolutely positive example of this franchise in Bonn.

Food and atmosphere are great, place is clean and staff are professional. Only thing you absolutely must not do in this place is go to the toilet. There is some toilet mafia down there that very aggressively demands 1 Euro or else they get angry and follow you. Very weird and also feels really illegal.
