McDonald's in Bonn

Almost every time I go there, something is forgotten.

I went there once and ordered what I wanted to eat. When I went to pay, there was no receipt. I didn't know what to do, so I asked a man with glasses who's always at the register if he could help me. He didn't help me at all; he just told me to get out of line because I was blocking the other customers. My meal cost about €20 in total, and this man didn't care about me at all. Then a blonde woman came along, and I asked her why my receipt was missing. I showed her my order on the McDonald's app, since I had saved it there, and she showed me that my order was on the table where orders are picked up. I was very grateful to her. I don't recommend this restaurant unless you don't want your order. I was lucky that this woman helped me, unlike the man who didn't even try to help me.

Aside from the food, the local management seems to treat their employees like slaves or simply wants to make more money by hiring fewer staff. We were there on the evening of December 12th and saw how badly the waitress was treated and that she was expected to run the entire place on her own. I wonder how the local employment office can allow something like this. We will definitely report this to the relevant authorities.

While me and my friend were eating a man came up to us and said we have to leave if we are done eating and tried to take our tray but i still had fries so i showed him and continued to eat and then maybe 2 minutes later he comes up again and i show i still have some fries left and he made a comment about me eating in "slow motion". That is such a rude comment to make to a paying customer, horrible customer service. We also were not the only people there, there were about 7 other tables of people still eating too and he kept going around to everyone the same way. If he was not talking to a table he was standing watching you and it made us very uncomfortable. We later found out they were closing the floor where we were sitting when we walked down the stairs, something the employee did not tell us! And me and my friend did not think this was the case initially because it was just before 7pm and this location closes at 11! The same has happened to me before where they closed the 2nd floor at mcdonalds but the employees there did not go around rudely telling people to leave!

I arrived and ordered everything normally up to that point. The employee who brought the food (an older man) brought it and didn't even say "Enjoy your meal." Later, when I had finished eating, I only wanted to sit for 5 minutes. Then he came and told me I either had to order or leave! It was true that everywhere else was free! After 2 minutes, he immediately told me to leave, saying "Quickly!" He'll be glad if I don't sue him! A tip to avoid such reviews is to fire him immediately without notice! This happened on August 29, 2025!

On October 26, 2025, at 2:05 a.m. An employee was working in the kitchen with dirty hands, without an apron, with earrings, and without a hairnet, which is a clear violation of hygiene regulations. When I politely pointed this out, he responded with laughter and ridicule instead of following the necessary hygiene measures. The shift supervisor acted irresponsibly and unprofessionally. Instead of resolving the problem, he called the police, which was completely inappropriate. I did not receive my ordered food, and my money was not refunded. I will pursue this matter further through my lawyer and contact your company directly to officially resolve the incident. I will also submit all evidence and documents to the relevant health and food safety authorities.

Somehow Macs used to be bigger ;-)

I got a different burger than the one I ordered. Unfortunately, I only realized this when I got home. I'd like to acknowledge that someone actually answered the phone shortly before eleven o'clock at night and took care of it! Thanks!

Very unfriendly employees who make you want to never eat at McDonald's again

The food tastes good, but sometimes the fries are dry. These are the cleanest restrooms of all McDonald's restaurants; the cleaner is both nice and does a good job.

The best McDonald's in downtown Bonn. There are two others, but this one always prepares the food best and fastest. I've had much worse experiences at the other McDonald's in Bonn. My regular McDonald's!

As a fast-food restaurant, it's absolutely fine. The service and cleanliness are really good.

I can honestly say that the MCs at Friedensplatz have become disgusting. I've already puked twice after eating there. They won't even give you your real money back because no one can talk to you properly and they're probably trying to rip you off, no matter which MCs in Bonn you go to!!!!!! You don't even get what you ordered. Either it's missing or you get lucky and get something else!!!!!! The main thing is to make everything more expensive and worse. 👍🏻 Guys, I just advise you to check your bags beforehand to see what's inside and also check directly to make sure you get the real money back.

We sold burgers for 60€ and then didn't get one burger and one McFlurry and when we went to the checkout they didn't want to give us our stuff

I have no idea why the management/ owners of this McDonald’s allows someone who doesn’t wear a company uniform/ name badge or anything that would identify him as a member of staff; sit outside the toilets and harass customers as they leave for money. It can’t be a German thing as we didn’t experience it anywhere else but maybe in Bonn? My daughter didn’t even use the toilet, she went inside with her as we didn’t want to leave her waiting outside with what a appeared was a random man but still when they came out (not before) he demanded €1 each. Even when we explained we had just bought some food he said he didn’t care and *we have to pay him*. We refused and walked off ignoring his attempts at intimidation. Very odd for a billion dollar global chain.

The toilet man is extremely unfriendly and forces you to give €0.50. Constantly looking into the women's toilets and stalking you, or shouting at you if you can't pay, don't want to pay or don't pay enough... Extremely scary at first and I'm afraid to go into McDonald's and use the toilet. Please give him a warning or try to convince him to stop behaving like that because it's really not normal how rude and creepy he is acting. This isn't the first time this has happened to me, it's the fifth or sixth time it's happened to my friends all the time and I've had to argue loudly with him at least twice now. I ask for change!!!!!

Completely overcrowded on a warm day

Food as always. Unfortunately it is not possible to eat in the restaurant although the terminal offers this. The store appears to be relatively poorly managed.

Meine Erwartungen waren niedrig und wurden dennoch enttäuscht. In diesem McDonalds ist das Personal sehr unfreundlich und teilweise schon dreist. Ich kann nur davon abraten zu dieser Filiale zu gehen. Ich empfehle stattdessen Burger King. Man bekommt mehr leckeres Essen für sein Geld.

I actually didn't expect much from a McDonalds in a busy city. There isn't that much space downstairs, with only a few seating options. It's also quite chilly downstairs with so many people coming in and out, which can make it crowded. It's much better up there, but this time it's too warm. However, always eat upstairs if possible, otherwise order takeaway and eat outside

Unfriendly, cold burgers, lukewarm unsalted fries and dirt as far as you look, problems immediately after visiting the Margen Darm branch, the health department has already been informed by me!!!! Awkward!!!!

A warm place to sit and enjoy some food and drink

Very sleazy, MC Don. is no longer what it once was. UNFORTUNATELY

The first ordering process worked except for the payment because the card machine was not reachable. So do everything again from the beginning on another terminal. At the counter I was then informed that parts of my order were not available, which is okay, but the staff was a bit clumsy in dealing with the offer of alternatives. All in all, it was okay if you lowered your expectations a bit 🙊.

The seating area on the first floor is inviting, the small play area is well maintained and you have a beautiful view. The staff works quickly, is not overwhelmed and makes every effort and is polite as far as possible. The Chocolat Fudge Cake comes straight from hell. Can't be broken down with wooden forks. The “cocoa-based fat glaze” really lives up to its name, is as thick as my thumb and as hard as a board.

Overall av good place. Nice to sit on the second floor looking out. But. They wanted me to pay for using the toilet!! And it was not even really top notch clean. That is was a big drawback.

Typical McDonald's in the city center, it is not very big but it has a terrace and an upper floor. It was very nice on the terrace although there were some homeless people walking nearby. Normal staff. To go to the bathroom I had to pay a lady there, which I didn't think was good at all. At other McDonald's you enter with your ticket with a code. If you consume you should not have to pay for the bathroom.

Very quick service and easy to order at the automatic order stands. Store was clean and has a nice view on the higher floors.

When we visited in August, I found the upper area to be very uncomfortably warm (air conditioning switched off or broken?) and many of the tables and the floor to be quite dirty. It was anything but pleasant to eat there. The food and drinks are of the same quality as other McDonald's restaurants.

The food is high-quality and tasty, and the employees are friendly. But there are some problems with cleaning. It is worth paying more attention to cleanliness in the hall.

Truly the worst McDonald of all. It takes forever to put together a simple starter menu. Too long, I had to move on and wanted my money back. The extremely unfriendly employee then snapped at me and said he had to turn on the cash register first. He did that and then just left. Since I had to move on, I left without my money. The other employees just looked questioningly back and forth and shrugged their shoulders. They can't put together a mini menu in 20 minutes and then rip you off when you want your money back. Also a way to increase what is certainly a modest wage. Sad picture.

The staff is so unfriendly then they made my order wrong for the big Mac they put 4 bullets on it instead of 2 and threw them in the bag like that, like I'm not in the mood for the yep that doesn't have to be the case

Once again, they forgot to put two sauces in the order; you always need to check the order contents.

Nobody was standing at the McCafe. However, we were also able to get a coffee at the regular checkout. The cheeseburgers were slightly squashed but still edible and tasty. The toilets were clean and it was pleasant outside. We didn't have to wait long either.

The tables are dirty. But the biggest shame is the toilet: The floor in the toilet is full of urine, the paper towel dispenser at the sink is empty... And yet there's a guy sitting in front of the toilet exit and expecting you to give him money, the question arises: for what service?

Unfortunately, the ambience and service in this restaurant is very poor... I have been there several times over the years and have always observed that the staff are not friendly towards you. There are mostly a lot of anti-social children and young people who smoke there and behave completely wrongly. As a guest you feel very uncomfortable there and it's no real pleasure to enjoy your food there. I can recommend buying it to take away because there is only chaos on the upper floor. Most of the service employees (who are not at the checkout) don't speak German either, so you can't understand them either. Many employees are annoyed and unfriendly. It's a shame ☹️

This is now the 3rd time that I've broken because Chicken MC nuggets had apparently been lying around for too long. You'll be in trouble soon. It's unbelievable how you can sell something like that!

There is a free clean toilet, which is already good news, everything was very tasty

Tables were very dirty, they weren't cleaned for about an hour, young people smoked on the upper floor and they weren't warned. Coffee was cold and tasted like water. Never again. They should continue to support Israel.

I'm not a big fan of McDonald's but I'm happy to give it 5 stars because the employees at Friedensplatz always do a great job. very polite and fine people. the food is always warm. No comparison to the branch on Bertha von Suttner Platz. keep it up guys

After paying at the order terminals the machine broke down. The transaction was completed but we didn't receive a receipt. After talking to staff, or should I say after finding the one person that didn't stare at us like they've seen an alien after asking if they speak English, they simply said they could do nothing and they didn't receive an order. Furthermore they simply ignored us and demanded that we make a new order.. only one friendly person in the whole restaurant is quite a bad service.

Unfortunately, there is little seating in the evening due to the closed upper floor and no more table service.

This Mc Donals is something very special because when I had an unfortunately torn 5€ bill. But then they refused, but then out of great kindness they gave me a free cheeseburger. Thank you very much

Too crowded and too unclean. We were here on the WOE and just wanted a quick IcedCafee Latte and got a cold milkshake. Since we didn't want to wait again, we kept it since we were already outside anyway. We save ourselves another visit to this branch. I've had better experiences at McDonald's

Very unfriendly employee. Forgot a Mc Sunday, mayo was sweet and sour, Fanta instead of Cola and some curly fries were cold. Very bad and not recommended. There are much better ones in Bonn.

Be careful, something is constantly "forgotten" here, on every one of my last visits. Today I noticed a part straight away and complained, unfortunately a BigMac was still missing, again well paid for. This seems to be the trick here for large orders. Please check what you get.

Заказал два смарт меню и потом в догонку ещё заказал два лате макиато. Со смарт меню всё ок, а вот с лате макиато указал два коричневых сахара в каждую, принесли вообще без сахара. Не внимательно смотрят заказ. Не очень приятно. Но все равно спасибо за обслуживание. И всё равно рекомендую можно погреться и перекусить зимой.

Wurden nicht bedient. Es waren so st keine Gäste im Laden. Nur ein Typ der meinte, mir als Frau, hinterher zu gehen in den Keller zu den Toiletten. Hab mich bedroht gefühlt. Nach dem Toiletten Gang meinte er nur: 1,50€. Frechheit. Wollte ja was zum trinken kaufen, aber wer keine Lust hat mich zu bedienen, dann nicht. Nie wieder geh ich da rein und der Typ der soll sich schämen.

Das WC ist schmutzig, riecht nach Urin und der Reinigungsherr...laute Musik, redet mit Freunden, kümmert sich nicht. Aber er wird sofort aktiv, wenn es ums bezahlen geht. Er verlangt 1 Euro von Kunden, beschimpft die Leute und ist aggressiv. Unhaltbarer, bekannter Zustand. Verstehe nicht das MC da nichts unternimmt. Gibt es nur dort.

Lokation und Essen sind immer super. Das einzige was mich stört ist der Klomann der immer Teather macht. Wenn man als Gast aufs Toilette will und bereits Geld ausgegeben hat verlangt er mit diskussion trotztdem was

McSundae i love that, i got there to get sundae and the sad part was when i used the toilet one kind of short guy looked like he is from africa something like that charged me 1 euro for the toilet, it is not the money thing it was just confusing because i have never had this happening before especially mcdonalds.

Nach langer Zeit wieder McD...Diesmal standen die Pommes zu lange. Daher nicht mehr heiß und nicht mehr knusprig. Unbedingt die Coupons verwenden...ansonsten wird es teuer.

Мы с женой были здесь вчера вечером, в пн 16.10.2023. И вот эта вечерняя смена оказалась абсолютно безобразной. Заказали в MaCafe капуччино, но ложечку на не предложили и только с 3-й попытки въехали в нашу просьбу и ее исполнили. Далее, разнос к нашему заказу не полагался и все заказанное пришлось порознь таскать самим. Но это все еще полбеды. Столик, на котором мы принимали пищу(а особого выбора не было, т.к.2-й этаж был закрыт) , был очень и долговременно грязным(так просто так уже было не отмыть, грязь там впитывалась явно уже несколько часов). Я все это высказал сотрудникам(а слышала это вся смена) - без реакции особой - пофигисты по ходу они там все - на моё предложение убрать эту грязь получил отрицательный ответ. Мне нравится бренд McD, и я много лет посещаю эти рестораны с семьёй/детьми в разных городах и странах, но вот такое отношение сотрудников к своим обязанностям, реакция на обращение покупателей/клиентов, абсолютная незаинтересованность персонала(где, кстати, тут работа менеджмента, службы персонала?) встречается редко, но в конечном результате явно ни к чему хорошему не ведёт и это ещё очень мягко сказано. Остаётся надеяться, что соответствующее руководство примет адекватные меры и искоренит по меньшей мере конкретно в этом ресторане этот бардак.

Das Team ist nett und schnell. Ansonsten ist und bleibt es halt ein MC Donalds. Was soll man dazu schreiben. Das Essen sollte jeder kennen. Ich sitze hier gerne in der oberen Etage.

Wären reduziert und überladen hinsichtlich der Gestaltung/des Ambientes winer McDonald's Filiale nicht Gegensätze, wären sie das paradoxe Odeal: Schlichte, zweckoriente, an Ort und Stelle fixierte Möblierung, unverrückbar, nicht gruppier- oder umstellbar, dafür aber poppige (?) Farbgebung und alles, was bei McD gerade altuell in der Werbung ist in lauten, teils großen Bildern/Postetn/Bannern. Ansonsten die Mülltrennungs-/Tablettrückgabestation im Stil eines DIN-zertifizierten, auditierten Systems, wie es eine Produktionsstätte im Metall- statt Verpflegungssektor nicht klarer hätte präsentieren können - und an dem der einfach Besucher dennoch willentlich oder ignorant scheitert ...

This McDonald’s has worst Fish o fillet I’ve ever had, it was entirely cold and you can hardly bite, taste like an expired food you should throw away, I can’t believe just because you visited there 30 minutes before the closing time they can served the food like that, it was outrageous.

Diese Filiale ist sehr schlimm, die sind unfreundlich , nur weil ich meinen Kopf auf die Sofakante gelegt habe, denkt der, dass ich obdachlos bin und dass ich schlafen werde, also wollte er mich rausschmeißen, und als ich die Treppe hinunterging waren geschlossen und kein Kettenarbeiter öffnete für mich, und als ich es fotografierte, um meine Bewertung in Google zu schreiben, zwang mich der Manager, das Bild zu löschen und bedrohte mich (zur Information: Der Manager spricht kein Wort Deutsch und (sein Englisch ist extrem schlecht) Ich rate niemandem, in diese Filiale zu kommen.

Ich besuche dieses Restaurant seid etwa 7 Jahren und das Essen ist für die Verhältnisse immer sehr gut, Diese komplette Atmosphäre und die Bedienung ist einfach nur Unterhaltend. Finde es gut das Restaurant so leicht zu erreichen ist, Und auch in dem Außenbereich sehr viel Platz für die kleinrn bietet. Würde wieder dort essen gehen

nichts besonderes, wie im normalen Restaurant McDonald's. Nur muss man aufpassen weil die Bedienung sehr oft mit der Bestellung ein Fehler macht. Vermutlich geht es um eine Eile.

Ich habe 6er Chicken Nuggets bestellt und es waren nur 4 drinne. Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich und das Essen schmeckt halt wie in jedem Mcdonalds gleich.

Voor goedkope koffie hoef je zeker niet naar deze Mcd.
