McDonald's Restaurant in Neumünster

Crowded. Tables not clean. Parking is bad.

We ordered via app and discovered at home that the order had once again been incompletely packed. We then called and politely pointed out the missing items. The phone was simply hung up... Since this wasn't the first time, the missing items seem to be a regular occurrence. It's a shame, really...

Unfortunately not. I waited about 45 minutes for our food with my two children. By the time it arrived, half of it was already cold. The milkshake was supposed to be chocolate, but tasted more like strawberry. The service was also unfriendly. Not a pleasant experience.

We got one of our special requests fulfilled, which was really nice, but then the McChicken turned out to be plant-based and I didn't want to be a nuisance since we already had the special request.

It's just McDonald's. As usual, the food is decent, the service is good, and the restaurant is well-stocked. The parking lot was quite full.

Extremely long wait times during rush hour. Yesterday I had to wait 20 minutes for a burger and a portion of fries.

When I asked where my food was 30 minutes after paying (in cash to a member of staff) (2 double chili cheeses + sides and a 20-ounce MC Plant Nuggets), the guy at the checkout and the shift manager said, "Oh, I thought someone else would take care of it!" The food arrived after 37 minutes.... The burgers were soggy and the Coke had definitely been ready for a while, as it was lukewarm. And then they said the MC Plant Nuggets needed a few more minutes.... !!!! Better drive to the other branch across the bridge... I'll call again tomorrow and complain... Ordered at 10:41 p.m., got the burgers at 11:18 p.m.

If I could, I would give the ambiance zero stars. It's incredibly dirty there. The tables, the walls, even the clearing carts are simply disgusting. Maybe management should address this. HCC concept. The food is sometimes cold. There are better restaurants.

If I'd known ice cubes were so expensive here, I would have gone to Netto... I bought an iced coffee shake, 60% of which were ice cubes... Can they be sealed? For the price, I'd use them again at home.

25!!! minutes for three simple meals! Everyone else gets it beforehand, and when I ask for a reminder, it still takes five! minutes. The explanation is: "Very busy, sorry." Absolutely not!

I found the service very good (Laura); she should be named employee of the month. Very customer-friendly.

Today we waited 30 minutes for our order. Half of it was missing. The restroom was dirty, and the worst part was that one employee kept eating nuggets at the checkout without washing her hands afterward. She simply wiped them on her pants and then carried on packing the food. (She packed fries without serving them.) The women's 1m-long hair wasn't even tied back properly. Very appetizing. Definitely not recommended anymore.

Well, it's Macken, but this one isn't geared for the amount of guests, they even make a milkshake with just syrup and whipped cream, so yes, they went in the trash.

Ordered 6 items from McD's via the app, and then one is missing... when you're craving the items, you're disappointed... and that happens quite often... somehow it's just not acceptable... at €6 each, it's getting a bit boring... And again... one of the 3 items is missing... never again will I leave the lot without checking... and that's with two cars... McD's just lucky they're the only ones here at the end of their tether... What service...

I ordered a hamburger but got a chessburger several times and I always had to pay for it. I have never seen such audacity. The other McDonald's is much better than this one.

4 stars only because of the friendly order-taking. The staff were otherwise incredibly unfriendly 😞. The food was a disaster. Everything was there, but it was cold, really cold, the sauces were all wrong, the drinks had no ice, and the fries in the Happy Meal were a joke (12 small fries).

Found the fries a bit cold/weak for fresh from the bag, store tidy, staff really nice... Waiting times are really okay, even when the store is full

Friendly, clean and the food is hot.

The lady at the drive-thru couldn't scan the coupon. We had to go inside because of the rain. Then something was left behind. Thanks for nothing. We won't need it again.

Like an innocent citizen, I ordered a 20-pack of McPlant nuggets for €10. Unfortunately, I found body parts in the box. They were also broken and less processed wings. This has deeply disappointed me, and I won't be ordering anything from there again. Regards, Bob

It was a completely ordinary Sunday. The five of us decided on this establishment, expecting vegan alternatives given the diverse menu. So we ordered a 20-ounce McPlant Nuggets, but instead of the expected indulgence, we got body parts. D: Dishonorable You should know

My friends and I ordered the new Dragon Tongue ice cream three times, and the new milkshake once. All three ice creams had different filling levels. One was filled to the standard level, the others weren't even halfway. When I asked an employee about it, he said it was the standard level. I'm so angry. They can't even fill three cups of ice cream evenly. The employees are anything but qualified for this "simple" job...

Special requests are not accommodated. I ordered a hamburger without onions. The opening hours listed online are incorrect. Instead of 7, they open at 8.

This store doesn't care about speed. If there's more than one car in front of the door, the incompetent employees can't keep up. A 30-minute drive-thru with only five cars is the norm. The worst McDoof in all of S-H 🤦🏻‍♂️

Probably the friendliest McDonald's I've ever set foot in! I've been in Neumünster all day today and have already had breakfast here. All the employees are very friendly and accommodating. I would move my wall unit in here immediately if I could.

Dinner with a show: here you can even hear employees shouting: "Who stole from me, who stole from me, the police must come."

A stylish ambience and good quality of McDonald's food are of little use if, unfortunately, in addition to top employees, you always come across staff that seem less than competent. It is usually very/too cold inside. Update: Either you have really put together a good team or invested in further training, hence now 5 stars.

If you have to wait 30 minutes for your food after ordering and paying (and it was two normal menus), then it can no longer be considered fast food.

I had to wait over 20 minutes for the train because I thought I could get a small snack at McDonald's and charge my cell phone. At exactly 5:20 p.m. I ordered 6 nuggets. At 5:35 p.m. I asked again and said that I wanted to get my train straight away. Unfortunately, the employees didn't manage to get the nuggets ready in time by 5:40 p.m. I suddenly discovered that McDonald's wasn't fast enough for my food!

We were there all the time, you get cold burgers there and the fries could be more seasoned. For 1 portion of fries you can't get by with 1 mayo or ketchup, why can't they provide a dispenser for you to serve yourself

Took food home today (February 25, 2025) in the evening around 8:09 p.m. (I would like to note that it was relatively quiet in and around the store). This (see picture) came to us when a person opened their Filet O' Fish. And this is not an exceptional case (eating more often on Altonaerstr.). The food always looks like this when you open the package. No matter whether it's a small or large burger. And it doesn't matter whether it's on site or to take away. It's really interesting to see how much effort goes into preparing the food.

We waited for the order for more than 25 minutes. There were very few people. They approached us 3 times and asked, each time we were told "right now". There were several orders after us and they were reported 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Quite okay. The staff are generally friendly and the food has tasted almost identical for as long as I can remember. The offers or vouchers are getting worse and the prices are generally rising very sharply. Still a good place to go if you're hungry quickly 🍽️

During the ordering process there was an extremely friendly and nice person at the checkout. He even pointed out vouchers to me and gave them to me. That was great. The food will be brought to the square, he said. I went to my companion at the table. After a while, the friendly people at the next table pointed out to us that we needed a number on the table so that we could be found when the food was brought to us. Someone then got us a number like that. After about 10 minutes, the people sitting next to me said I should go to the checkout because someone else had just received our food. After some back and forth it was said that she had to redo it. Without apology. It came quite quickly, but there was no sauce. So I went back to the front and was handed the sauce. Here. That was all. Not a single note of regret. Very, very bad service.

3 degrees outside and only felt like 5 degrees in the restaurant... Two orders placed at the same time, one! I emphasize a chicken burger wasn't at the table after 25 minutes. When we asked, the employee told us that other orders had priority, but the lady didn't care that we had already waited 20 minutes at that point.

Unfortunately very much diminished. No matter when we get food there, something is missing from the order. When asked, they say that you can pick it up, but who wants to go again and then after a week it is no longer saved. Additionally, there is no longer even an excuse. Went there again and the rest of the food was cold. There was no substitute for it. And we order too much to be able to check everything individually on site, especially since last time I was asked to clear the parking lane and wasn't even given 2 minutes to check my order. Very unfortunate. Then there are the prices. Unfortunately, as a family of 4 it was more than expensive. You can go out to eat soon. Unfortunately, it's a shame.

What can I say, McDonald's is no longer the same as it was when I was a child, somehow everything has changed, everything doesn't taste the same as it used to, nevertheless I will rate the store and the customers in this review, There are actually a lot of employees there who are completely correct, but unfortunately there are also employees there who behave unfriendly and really ruin your fun, who just chatted with their friends instead of taking my order like yesterday, that was very rude at first I had to wait a very long time The other guy (probably team leader) acted like a boss the whole time and talked down to me, just disrespectful, my order was for food in the store, this should normally be delivered by an employee at the table, nothing since I had to pick it up myself which confirms the disrespect, But I will never enter this store, after all, I finance your salary. Better go to Burgerking Neumünster, it's much healthier, tastier and friendlier. I still have to get one thing off my chest, there are almost never Germans in fast food shops with which I have bad experiences, unfortunately it's usually always Arabs/Turks.

I would have preferred to continue driving. We wanted to eat something quick between meals. It generally took a long time for the food to be ready, despite the many employees in the store. And then the disillusionment, in the car we noticed that the Plant Nuggets were originals, despite the Plant cardboard. That doesn't work at all.

Had chicken crispy and spicy today. It was really crispy and delicious. Unfortunately, the chili flakes were spread on one side of the burger. The spot was so spicy that I couldn't taste anything else. We had a family-sized order to pick up and everything was complete.

Ordered Happy Metal, picked out the book...got a completely different one. The fruit squeeze was simply completely forgotten. Drinks were only available after it was pointed out that you had finally ordered and paid for them. Impossible Zich people behind the counter, completely disorganized...

Half the order was missing, the cola was diluted with water (see picture how light it is) and that's definitely not because of the ice cubes!

Actually a very modern, clean fast food restaurant, I don't like the way the order is entered at the terminal at all and instead of being shorter it took much longer, even though the staff tried their best! I often go to the drive-in counter and pre-order in the app, it always works great and is very quick. Always friendly staff!

This McDonald's has nothing to do with "FAST FOOD". The thing that really annoys me is that when I've paid for my food in the drive, I get my drink at the next counter and then have to drive a few meters ahead so that I disappear out of the camera's field of vision, just so that they don't mess up the service and that even if there isn't a car behind me far and wide. I once said "but there's no car behind me, I can wait here for my food" then all I get is "there's a camera up there". Why do I care about their camera? And when it happens that I do eat inside, the staff isn't always encouraged to be friendly. and the seating is sometimes so tight at the table that you sit there like a sardine (I have a bit more of a stomach and there is no space between the table and my stomach, which is not comfortable for eating.) Unfortunately, this point is the same in every branch that I visited. maybe an incentive to change something. Addendum: Ate here again today, despite pre-ordering via the app I had to wait over 5 minutes for my food even though there was almost nothing going on at the time. Fries were ALMOST always cold. I'm just wondering what takes them so long. Service is 6minus in this branch. I'm seriously wondering why I keep coming back here.

Disaster. After waiting for over 35 minutes, there was still no information about when the order would be approximately ready. You were largely ignored by the employees, so you were forced to cancel. That also took another 10 minutes until you could leave the “fast food” restaurant without anything in your stomach. Never again.

Actually, I'm a fan. But today McDonald's managed to lose me as a customer. As always, I put together the order at home and sent it off. When we arrived we gave the code, drove to the first window and picked up the gift. At the second window there were apples and drinks and a request for the preferred dog to wait. Then two more vehicles came to wait as well. Both cars were served before us. When our order finally came, they said the McPlants nuggets had taken so long. Why do I even order at home anyway?

Unfortunately, the coffee and cappuccino in the restaurant can only be served in disposable cups. No dishes available?

I never get what I ordered. The contents of the order are simply missing. really bad service. I got home through the drive and only then noticed that half of my order was missing. When I order and pay for it, I also expect to receive my order.

My husband and I wanted to grab something to eat quickly after work. Since we pass McDonalds on the way back anyway, it was obvious. When we pulled into the parking lot, the drive-thru was already pretty full, so we went inside. It was still fuller inside - but we still ordered something at the terminal with table service. After 20 minutes we spoke to an employee walking past who said the food was coming soon. After 45 minutes I went to the counter to ask nicely but firmly. End of the song and after some discussion, my husband and I were forgotten! Afterwards we quickly got our food. As compensation there was a peach bag that we didn't like and wanted to return - before it was thrown away. But this could not be taken back, even though it wasn't even packed up.

My experience here was good as everything went well and we didn't face any inconvenience or consequences. Even though it was rush hour, orders came quickly and there were no lines or long waits.
