Very friendly staff. Very clean restaurant. We only had a latte macchiato, which was delicious.

Clean place and freshly prepared food. French fries are usually hot and crisp. One of the better McD s definitely. Beware that there is a konstanz Verpackungssteuer if you use the mcdrive.

We ordered via the app and then used table service. The food arrived within a few minutes. Service was friendly. The food was hot and of the usual McDonald's quality. The restaurant was clean.

What do I expect from McDonald's? Not much. A smile and "bon appetit" when my food is brought, along with warm, fresh fries and burgers. Really easy? Yeah, no! Often the employees simply lack motivation, and that's usually the shift manager's fault. Point one, please: Jewelry? Bracelet, earrings, and necklace? I don't like that; it's possible that the rules are different in Germany. But then walk past a beeping kiosk 10 times and do nothing? Why? Every time I'm here, the fries are cold. The burgers are usually okay. The tables are often dirty; they really could be cleaned more often.

We visited the restaurant several times and also had contact with the administration over a year ago. Unfortunately, they still haven't learned about accessibility. There's no wheelchair access at the entrance, and especially no disabled parking (put up a sign and maybe turn three spaces into two), and a lot more. Additionally, payment via the app is currently not possible online due to packaging tax. The food is good, just like McDonald's. But this disregard for people with disabilities is very disturbing. This applies to all age groups: wheelchairs, walkers, strollers with limited mobility, and so on. Consider the demographic changes.

They put a lot of Oreo and chocolate sauce in the McFlurry, and it was the best McFlurry I've ever eaten in my 17 years of life! Thank you so much for that. 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Typical McDonald's, with table service. Everything went well, as ordered. So, if you're ever in the area again, it's a good option. Keep it up.

Hidden costs for the packaging of every product. A hamburger costs €2.20, and an unnoticeable €0.54 is added. The shake was paid for with points and was deducted twice, including the packaging. You're getting ripped off.

We came here after 11 pm. I definitely recommend this place. Huge parking lot, even a playground. McDonald's is big, but it's pretty quiet inside. It was very light and there were a lot of young people. McDonald's Cafe also had fresh desserts. The service was fast, the toilets were clean. The food was very tasty. We were so hungry that we didn't even have time to take a photo. Overall, I definitely recommend this place. The prices are much cheaper than in Switzerland, and the burgers are tastier. They have this cheese topping on the fries. Very cool and tasty.

This is the first time I've ever experienced a €0.70 charge per pack for takeaway coffee. The cashier didn't explain anything, but it's just the way it is. I don't recommend it!

We like coming to this McDonald's, just like today, but unfortunately today's visit was disappointing. We had two meals and the fries looked and tasted like they were from yesterday! You come to the McDonald's for the fries. So today was the last time I ordered a McFlurry. €0.24 for local packaging?!?! Are you serious?! Should I get my hands on the McFlurry next time? Such a disgrace. The packaging gets thrown away anyway, or do you reuse it? DISGRACEFUL! And as if that wasn't enough, if you order with chocolate sauce, please put chocolate sauce in it too, and not just a dollop at the end of the cup.

No: The ordering machine didn't produce a receipt or order number. Instead of a double chicken, only a single chicken. I only noticed it when I got home, so no complaint is possible.

Please ask: Two Big Macs and wraps cost me €2.16 in packaging tax. Can I bring a plastic or metal bowl next time? Is that hygienically acceptable? Quick fix - delicious, and not just popular with kids. Desserts and ice cream are also available. Unfortunately, there's no drink allowance.

Deception. Ordered food for three people at the drive-thru using coupons. The approximately €43 bill indicated on the ordering machine suddenly turned into around €50 at the checkout window, because this McDonald's charged a packaging tax of 0.54 cents to €1 for every single burger, which wasn't mentioned anywhere beforehand. A disgrace! No advance notice, and the resulting hidden costs. Not recommended! How on earth was I supposed to get the food? Everything straight to my hand?

Half of my takeout order was missing. Of course, I didn't notice until I got home and didn't want to go back. Besides, €16 for a meal (thanks to the packaging tax...) is simply too much.

You pay two euros in packaging tax for a €20 order (of course, it's not from McDonald's, but from the city of Konstanz), but then they won't even give you a straw with your drink, despite politely asking. The fact that the tax doesn't make much sense at McDonald's because the food is always packaged, whether for takeout or to eat in, is a different story...nonsensical... And then they top the burgers as if the contents weren't supposed to be between the buns.

Everything is now ordered technically on a giant screen. It takes 15 minutes just to type everything in. I long for the days when you could order directly from the staff. Today, it's draughty everywhere while drinking coffee.

An absolute disaster. Employees understand no or only poor German and are rude... Out of 10 orders in the last 12 months, 7 were ordered incorrectly... either mixed up or missing items. The response today was "We're not machines"... it's written on the order slip what was ordered and what should go in the bag.... The employees there have no insight whatsoever. It's sad that McDonald's hasn't responded to any reviews....

Packaging tax?? I didn't get a receipt, but I was charged more. I only had two chicken burgers for €4.60, and it ended up being more. I don't remember how much because they asked for more change twice.

This McDonald's is €1 more expensive for small meals (2x cheeseburger or double cheeseburger) than other McDonald's (compared to Überlingen, etc.). And that's despite the fact that prices have recently gone up everywhere... it looks as if the Konstanz garbage fee isn't visibly passed on to customers even when they eat in the restaurant...

Our last visit was rather frustrating. We ordered a coffee in a reusable cup. We were still charged for the packaging. When we asked, it was for the wooden stirrer, which we hadn't received at first and didn't need at all. We were further told that the POS software couldn't do anything else. Such nonsense: If reusable, then don't charge for the packaging. Their own deposit system is also pretty annoying. You have to go back to Mac every time to return it. Others can do that better. There was no glass with the meal either, as all colors weren't available, even though they were advertised everywhere on the screens and at the terminal. When we asked, we just got a blank stare: "Tough luck, they don't have it." The only veggie burger they offer is completely inadequate, and it isn't even good. In that case, take care, Mac, but that's it for us.

Be careful rip-off!!! Eating ice cream in the restaurant. Although there is no packaging tax for on-site consumption, a fee of €0.28 is charged per spoon. You don't get any money back either.

We ordered food via Lieferando. A delivery time of 35-50 minutes was promised, but in the end the order was canceled after an hour (!), without explanation or anything. We ended up driving to the branch and ordering take-out there. Unfortunately, we were again deeply disappointed because our order was not complete. Just a disappointment today.

I know it's not the fault of this McDonald's restaurant itself, but since the packaging tax I haven't been able to come here anymore. I recommend driving a few kilometers further and making a stop in Singen. For each menu, cups are taxed at 60 cents, the burger packaging is taxed at 54 cents and the fries packaging is also taxed at 54 cents. Even if you just want to get a McFlurry, you pay extra tax for the cup and spoon! Instead of €3 you get €3.75!! So be careful at this restaurant and expect additional costs. I hope they find a way to avoid this tax, whether with reusable packaging and deposits or something else.

What an amazing place! They sell hamburgers and such things. Minus points for not having an infinity pool on the roof and there's no place to land with my chopper. Also, they did not sell anything for construction sites, otherwise it would have been 5 stars! (It's a normal McDonald's...)

Hello! We recently visited McDonald's in honor of the movie Minecraft. We were very, very disappointed. They didn't put the toy away, but we brought it for her sake. When they said the toy wasn't included they said, "Don't worry, the toy is listed on the receipt." We came there just for them

Instead of finding a workaround for this green fascist packaging tax (e.g. selling packaging individually to the customer... symbolically for one cent), this nonsense is passed on 1:1 to the customer; other stores affected by it have at least come up with something in this regard.

McDonald's Konstanz - Disappointing Experience and Hidden Costs Discovered at Home I recently went to McDonald's in Konstanz and ordered via their mobile app, using a discount coupon. The price displayed in the app was €12.99 (a reduction from €14.98). I paid by card at the checkout and didn't notice it right away, but when I got home, I saw that I had been charged an additional €2.22. I was surprised to discover that this amount was for packaging: the paper cup, the hamburger carton, and the McNuggets box. €15.21!!!!! I find it unacceptable to be charged separately for the packaging necessary for transporting the products, especially without prior notice. Should I have guessed that I would have to bring my own cup and boxes from home to avoid this charge? This packaging fee was not mentioned anywhere in the app I used to order. Because of this, the final price was higher than the price displayed with the discount. In summary, not only will I never order from this McDonald's again, but I won't recommend McDonald's to anyone. This non-transparent experience, where you're asked to pay extra for necessary packaging without any notification, is unacceptable. How else would I receive the products I ordered? A frustrating experience and a serious reason to avoid this restaurant chain entirely.

The food is absolutely average, typical McDonald's. The ambience is the same, nothing special. The 5 stars here don't go to the branch or the annoyed-looking staff behind the counter, but explicitly to the young man who had the misfortune of having to stand in the lobby that day and meet us. At first we were confused when he told us about the packaging tax, but then he took everything with a large dose of humor and responded really well to even the most stupid questions. Since he'll definitely have to endure a lot of stupid discussions about the topic, hats off to him for his nerves. Respect and thank you for the service 😏

Mc Drive doesn't work at all! I only bought 2 menus and 1 was completely forgotten and that wasn't the first time.

McDonalds has a lot of traffic, food comes quickly. The citizens are very small for the name they have.

We were at the Mc today (February 4, 2025). Men's toilet clogged and dirty. Toilet ladies sola Food was, well, lukewarm and I had 2 pieces of base on the burger and no lid. Temperature in the Mc was like in the refrigerator.

We sit in McDonald's with winter jackets on. The food gets cold faster than we can eat it but there's a lot of ice in the drinks. Service is quick and it's clean.

I don't understand why McDonald's in Germany can't manage to include gluten-free burgers in their range. I always have to go to Switzerland for it and it's more expensive there.

I was a guest on January 17, 2025 and unfortunately had to experience that the hand dryer in the toilet didn't work and there were no towels to dry my hands. Hygiene has a different definition. When I asked the staff, they gave me a napkin to dry off with. I had to ask you to give me more napkins because one napkin is insufficient. McDonalds Deutschland GmbH should take tougher action here. One star is one too many.

I wanted to order a Happy Meal for my granddaughter at the counter, but the 4 employees didn't accept it. I should order it via the screen. Sorry, I was completely overwhelmed with a toddler in my arms. It's a shame we had to leave without food! Unbelievable, you're at MC and you're starving.

Mc Café drinks were not prepared in the mc Café with a portafilter, they came from the back of the kitchen (probably a coffee machine). Unfriendly staff (rejected in the mc Café and at the checkout while the next customers were being served at the checkout).

My previous review is withdrawn, I was deeply disappointed. The ordering terminals provided for this purpose were all unusable and could not fulfill their intended purpose; food and drinks could be selected but not paid for. The terminal was restarted for the guests in front of me and for myself, but without any contribution to improving the situation. I have to say that I visited the establishment because I felt very hungry. Instead of a warm meal, however, I only got more hunger and a feeling of disappointment and sadness. The only positive thing was that the service reset the terminals, which I found to be a positive thing. Due to today's unreliability, I will unfortunately have to resort to another branch or another establishment like Burgerking, which is a shame.

Was there again today because of my son but was completely disappointed. MC Chicken Maxi Menu bought via drive-thru is no longer available, sometimes everything tastes different and worse and a Big Mac was missing. I don't know whether they do this on purpose because you can't go back for it or whether they are simply incompetent. In any case, it was never McDonald's again for us. The food is far too bad now, plus all this organic stuff, wooden spoons, no straw, and then the prices now. After 30 minutes you are either hungry again or the toilet calls loudly.
