McDonald's in Regensburg

While ordering at the McDonald's counter, we saw a large rat disappear between two pieces of siding on the McDonald's building. They should contact the health department, DISGUSTING!!!

I ordered online today and picked it up later. If two burgers + fries and six chicken nuggets are missing, that's unacceptable to me. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I got home... Unfortunately, today (October 9, 2025) it didn't work out again. The snack salad was missing from today's order, along with the ketchup and the package of Cheez-it. I ordered takeout twice, and both were missing something. This is a poor performance, especially since I was the one who had it. I had to wait 20 minutes for my order, and to top it off, the fries weren't even warm anymore... Poor performance for a fast food restaurant.

The service from the staff is very poor.

If only we'd gotten a kebab. Fries were cold Burger was lukewarm And brutally dry, too. That means it's been sitting for far too long And not fresh.

The food was typical McDonald's. An employee was busy cleaning the entire time we were there, but you couldn't tell. Both the men's and women's restrooms were dirty. The hand dryers indicated that a filter needed to be changed and were blowing out foul air. The employee's "check" of the restrooms consisted of signing a list. The drive-thru layout is disastrous. You have to rely on understanding drivers in the drive-thru to get out of the parking lot. But that's incredibly difficult.

Okay if there is nothing else it works

You get food to go and when you get home you realize there is only half in it and unfortunately that is not the first time a shame

I think it's a disgrace that you only have an hour and a half to eat at McDonald's, after which you get a €35 parking fine. That's another way to earn money. Once and never again.

I ordered milksake and got a soft serve in a cup that was absolutely terrible and tasteless. This has happened a few times now.

I placed an order through Lieferando today. An item was delivered incorrectly. After a call, the correct order was delivered in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommended.

Very fresh food, everything was in the bag, nothing was missing. The outside area was very clean.

We stopped by for breakfast on our way to vacation at 10 minutes past 7 a.m. and almost couldn't leave because we were in danger of getting stuck everywhere: to the floor, the chair, the table. Gross. If we'd been there just before closing time, I would have understood. But when, if not before opening, is the place cleaned? It also took a veeeery long time to order, considering there was only one other couple there.

With every order, something is always missing or added incorrectly. Always double-check. It can happen sometimes, but the odds of everything being correct are getting worse here.

Location near the highway. Good for commuters. Service is fast.

2.50 for the simplest cheese and chicken burger, too expensive, even the smart menu is a euro more expensive, up to 2.50 more, go to Burger Kitchen or burger stands, it's cheaper there, and coupons are so useless, sometimes even more expensive than in the system, the stands should close down🤷

I was there recently with a few colleagues. It was very clean and the staff was friendly. The only thing that bothered us was that it was very hot. The air conditioning didn't work properly. We felt sorry for the staff because they were all sweating—and of course, so were we. I don't understand why they're not doing anything about it.

Always good for a little break or an ice cream with the kids.

Typical McDonald's with the familiar food. What really bothers me is that the customer has to work their way through the convoluted menus on these order boards to order a portion of fries with mayo. I used to go to the counter, say "fries with mayo" once, and shortly afterward, I had my fries. It's too complicated for me now!

Like any other McDonald's. The burgers were better here, though. Fries were cold but OK. Service came to the table. It was quick, even though it was busy. The staff was friendly.

I recommend everyone to double-check their bag at the drive-thru; things have been "forgotten" a few times recently. Today, for example, the 6-pack chicken nuggets were completely missing, and instead of a double cheeseburger, there was only a regular cheeseburger. Apparently, that's how McDonald's makes its profits. Strangely, there's always only a little bit missing, and there's never an excess. With their profit-maximizing efforts, it's even hard to find a single atom of salt on their fries. They're also getting smaller every time.

We ordered a delivery from this place – a complete disappointment! A Big Mac was completely missing, the fries and nuggets were ice cold, and on top of that, the McWrap and another Big Mac were wrong – simply not what we ordered. Very disappointing and unprofessional!

I'm writing to express my deepest displeasure about my experience at this drive-thru restaurant. While eating my burger just now, I was shocked to discover a long, black hair inside. This unexpected discovery has disgusted me so much that I'm seriously considering reporting the incident to the police. I've never had such an unpleasant experience before! Had I not been on the highway, I would have complained personally!

Review: 1 star On May 12, 2025, I ordered a couple bundle from McDonald's Regensburg for €24.50 through the Wolt delivery service - according to the offer, there should be two limited Coca-Cola glasses included. The order came super quickly and not damaged. Unfortunately these glasses were not included. No apology, no information, nothing. I find this to be completely unacceptable and misleading, if not fraudulent. When purchasing online, a legally binding contract is created - if a component (such as advertised glasses) is missing, this is a clear breach of contract. I am very disappointed with the service and will not order there again.

It's a typical fast restaurant. Something was forgotten when ordering that was brought when asked. The pavement outside the children's playground is broken, which increases the risk of injury to children

Half an hour of waiting at the table (not just us), even though there wasn't much going on. When the food finally came, everything was cold... and the Big Mac was missing. At least we got it warm :)

Unfortunately, I felt the same way as the previous speaker. I met a friend for breakfast at Mc's and was there for 2 hours and six minutes. It cost €35 because I parked for 36 minutes too long. What a shame, that was my last visit!! This is how you scare away customers.

Not very ideal if you pick up and are then missing Chicken McNuggets and fries. This shouldn't happen. The wrong sauces were also sorted.

Good. When you drive in, the WiFi connection is now a little easier. This time that was enough to place the order so that I could pay under my name. The cash payment button is only visible/ready when you leave the WiFi zone. The food was very good. It was fresh and delicious. Cleanliness is observed better than in other restaurants of the company. The atmosphere was pleasant, quiet. It is a pleasant place from my price-quality point of view.

Listening to the same song on a loop for 20 minutes during a stay is unreasonable. Especially when even your own employees cannot change or influence this upon request. Mr. Mosher, think not only of your guests but also of your employees who may be eating this fast food junk. have to listen to a whole shift. It may be true that this frees up your seats quickly in order to maximize sales, especially since they don't really turn the heating on. Children's balloons and flowers don't help when guests and children are cold. There will be another post about the quality of fast food. Just this much: At -5 degrees, you don't have to add 30% ice cubes to the already stretched sugar syrup drinks. The unhealthy becomes even more unhealthy and your wallet fatter!

This is a McDonald's (fast food) restaurant don't expect a gourmet burger. But if you're in the rush of time, and don't feel like splurging after a long day at work and soccer practice right after, then this is a great option.

Unfortunately an outdated and totally uncomfortable McD. Not a nice atmosphere. Cleanliness, well. Our machine to select the burgers was shockingly slow. Were there around lunchtime. Service ok.

Update: 07. 02. 2025 -------- Unfortunately, this is my second bad experience at this location. I visited the restaurant for a dine-in meal and asked the staff to replace my cup of Pepsi because it was excessively wet from the outside. Instead of addressing the issue properly, he simply poured the drink into another (dry) cup and handed it back to me. I politely requested that he replace both the cup and the drink. At this point, his behavior became unreasonably aggressive—his actions resembled someone throwing a tantrum, which was both unprofessional and unacceptable for someone working in customer service. When I finally received the new cup, I asked why he was acting this way. He refused to engage and instead told me to leave the premises. When I asked to speak with the branch manager, he claimed that he himself was the manager. Since no other staff member intervened or offered assistance, I chose to step away. I find it deeply concerning that someone who claims to be the manager of a McDonald's branch would treat customers with such hostility. A simple cup replacement should never escalate into such an unpleasant situation. If this individual is indeed the manager, it raises serious concerns about the leadership and customer service standards at this location. Initial: ------ Rude and unprofessional people: I was trying to take a picture of the menu (wasn't photographing any of the staff because I am 100% aware of the German laws, and no person was in the line of sign of my cam anyways), and apparently one of the staff workers got offended! She started shouting in German! I explained to her that I am just photographing the menu, and asked her why I am not allowed to go so: no convincing answer was provided; instead, I was treated with rudeness and offensiveness!

Bring back the Tomato Chargrill immediately, the new Sweet Chili tastes like vomit. So I go to the Asian place and get some sweet and sour sauce and put it in a roll! The sauce was so much better and the only thing vegan in this juice shop other than nuggets, and now the burger isn't even available anymore! Burger King is a thousand times better

My breakfast visit on Sunday morning turned out to be significantly more expensive than I thought. I reordered a total of 3 times and took my time (the visit lasted about 2 hours). A few weeks later I received a €35 fine for a parking violation (max. 90 minutes are allowed). I was in contact with the branch as well as with the designated parking management company. Everyone was friendly and everyone had a good excuse as to why they didn't feel responsible, why they couldn't do anything, etc., but despite my evidence (receipt, payment, etc.), no one wanted to respond. Is this the new kind of appreciation that McDonalds has for its customers?

Our encounter here had almost nothing to do with anything. It took forever and seemed slightly chaotic. The burgers are as usual, only these were cold. For the prices that are now being charged, the quality should be better.

Every now and then you have to go to McDonald's...You know the food and the prices - it's quick and a Big Mac like that always works

I like to eat there, I used to work in a McDonald's myself. I really appreciate the employees. They really go out of their way to keep the customers happy. I just hope that other customers also appreciate what they do. Gives the employees a nice smile, says hello, please, thank you and goodbye.

You can only get better staff if you pay your people better

I ordered 6 plant base nuggets via drive in, we received old and lukewarm nuggets. So I turned around again and tried to explain to the lady at the counter that the nuggets were old. We then apparently received even older ones that simply tasted like old frying fat. Terrific.... Service and food not recommended... What a shame...

I got a 35€ fine because I got a café and stood at the Mc Café parking lot for 3:04 hours. I'm not coming anymore.

I bought two McMenums and three apple turnovers in McDrive 2 hours ago. I live 50 km away and noticed at home that I had three of the square Double Choc bags in my bag. My apple turnovers were on the display. It doesn't work at all. Will not visit this McDonald's again. I was very annoyed.

Waiting 25 minutes for lukewarm coffee to be brought to your table is too long. Better to pick it up yourself.

If you pay your order with the cash, please be careful, especially with the female cashier! The following happened to us on 10.Nov.2024 : Total 11.19€, we paid 21.20€ and the change should be 10.01€, but the cashier gave us 0.11€. We often visit this Mc.Donalds at Franz-Hartl-Str. Regensburg, and are usually served by a male cashier, but on that day we were served by a female cashier and got this bad experience from this female cashier. 10€ is not really a big amount, but the feeling being fooled is so bad and of course we are very disappointed.

I redeemed my points for the Halloween Fanta via the app, plus 20 nuggets. Picked up at McDrive around 10pm. Parking lot was completely empty. I get the Fanta in my hand and notice that it is relatively warm. I asked directly if they had a cold Fanta, and the answer was that they didn't have room in the fridge for something like that. I then wanted at least another small cola to go with it. He actually said that I should order it via the app?!? Such an incredible thing! Service doesn't work at all for them!

One of the best branches I've been to so far. Great staff and apart from the sauces being swapped every now and then, everything was great!

For us the best McDonalds in Regensburg. The products are almost always freshly made and nice and hot. The breakfast is always very good and all in all, this McDo offers fair prices via the app and coupons. The table service is always great. Nothing to complain about.

Ordering at the terminal takes forever because the touchscreen doesn't respond and the device freezes. After ordering, I waited about 5 minutes until I could pay with EC...

The toilets are underground. Some of them are broken, it smells like a train station toilet. You can see cable clamps and there is dirt in every corner. I hope that the saying "if you want to know how clean the kitchen is, then you should look at the toilet" doesn't apply here. Then I just say choke We were there again and nothing had changed.

Bottomless impudence. You're a customer there and you get a ticket. You meet someone there, eat there, chat there, eat a cake and drink coffee and then receive a ticket for €35 because as a customer you have probably exceeded your parking time there. I absolutely cannot recommend this branch. I met friends there and a few weeks later I received mail from a private company saying that I had exceeded the maximum parking time and should pay €35. We left a lot of money there and we don't even have the right one yet and got full meal what we ordered. And now I have to pay another €35 for parking?! This is how you lose your customers!! An absolute disgrace!!

In advance, I'm not a McDonald's fan. As a break on a long drive with the kids,... In any case, this McD in Regensburg was disgusting to ME outdoors. I first wore out tables before you could sit down. (As mentioned elsewhere I like rustic and am not fussy but this was... gross.)

Order came relatively quickly, communication minimal, the press plates standard McDonald's. It's okay so far, it's the only way to quickly deal with hunger at this time. The restaurant seemed clean and the motivation of the staff was still somewhat present. Expectations were met, so it fits.

The service can neither speak German nor English. Two out of four burgers were cold. The cheese was next to the burger. All the tables, chairs and the toilet were disgustingly dirty. One of the most terrible McDonald's experiences ever.

This is the worst branch in Regensburg. They brought everything quickly. There was a cold Big Mac and cold fries. In addition, not everything that was ordered was delivered. Also, it's a dirty place with a dead fly on one of the tables. Avoid this place!

A cheek and close to fraud, I ate there with friends and after a few weeks got a parking ticket. I even went back and tried to talk to the store because I had ordered several times that day. They coldly rejected me and referred me to parking enforcement. The parking space surveillance is not interested. It's a disgrace so you lose a lot of customers very quickly. I ordered a McRib menu with fries to take away and also a coffee with milk. In the car I discovered that there were neither napkins nor damp cleaning cloths (which is actually necessary with a McRib) nor mayo for my fries. There was also no milk for the very watery coffee... I definitely can't recommend it if you're traveling through.

Ordering food took a very long time. Very unclean, tables dirty, garbage lying around. I've never seen anything like this at McDonald's. No soap in the toilets or soap dispensers broken. Staff stressed, overwhelmed and unfriendly. Recommendation: take other houses.
