McDonald's in Trier

Really nice employees there. I come there every week for my breakfast and I always receive super friendly service. Top ♡

Every time it comes out the food is cold. And based on the many bad reviews, I'm not the only one who is served cold citizens and fries. Will avoid this McDonald's in the future.

Good food, practically easy, tasty. No atmosphere!

Table numbers are rarely available, and coffee sometimes takes 20 minutes. Overall, you'd have to say it's a good value for money. You know it, but sometimes you still go.

I've been there three times in the last three months and each time the food was lukewarm or cold. Unfortunately, this branch is not recommended

As in any McDonald's, the service was quick. I would have liked them to put more effort into finding the specific dinosaur toy that my son wanted, that was the only blemish, since the lack of interest was noticeable. Otherwise, everything was very good.

I really can only recommend this Mc Donalds, I don't think I've ever met such nice employees at something like this and the food was also very, very tasty.

McDonald's itself really cannot be compared to other McDonald's branches and the food is not always distributed correctly with the correct order. Instead, there is always something different than the original order. I ordered ice cream and got a coke... I also wanted to get something there at 1 a.m. yesterday because I was hungry and the branch was already closed due to a deep cleaning, even though it says online that the branch is open until 2 a.m. for its customers. I don't recommend the branch on Zumainer Straße there in my opinion and won't be going there again in the future.

I ordered a McCrispy menu. Instead of the regular McNuggets and McCrispy sauce, I got Spicy McNuggets and curry sauce. Even the drink was missing. There wasn't much going on and you still managed to get something wrong three times in one order - and spent €12.99 for it. It works better in the other McDonald's branches!

It's a disgrace. With 20 Plant Nuggets you can find Normal Nuggets. Unfriendly people who say: it was just a nugget. You will be laughed at and portrayed as stupid! Really a disgrace. As compensation you are offered an ice cream where are we here. Really bad Mc when it comes to service. Something like that should be forbidden!

I waited 30 minutes for my food. When I got it it was lukewarm. Then ordered and paid for ice cream. After 30 minutes still nothing, I got my money back. 😡😡😡😡😡

I highly recommend McDonald's, it's convenient, close to the highway and if you're on your way somewhere and get hungry, you can practically drive there. It also tastes very good and you can prepare the burger/etc. always happens very quickly. There is also a McDrive.

First of all, we ordered online for pickup. I hadn't thought about the fact that it might be busier at this time because of sporting events. I had to wait a while for my order, no problem either. But unfortunately the food was cold, not even lukewarm, just cold. Very unfortunate. I realize that everything will no longer be completely warm when I order take-out. But I never knew that the burgers were completely cold. However, the apple turnovers were still warm. So it was just the burgers and unfortunately also the fries that were cold.

Ordered a Big Tasty Bacon from the menu today with nuggets. Burger patty was cold, dry and was probably kept warm for a long time (longer than allowed). The nuggets just as cold. To date it was the worst burger my wife and I have ever tried to eat at a McDonalds. Yes, I tried it, it was inedible. We come from Trier and are disappointed that such quality is offered at today's prices!

We eat here several times a month and are extremely disappointed. The presumed shift manager is so unfriendly and is annoyed by cash payments in MC Drive. Furthermore, things are often missing or not complete (e.g. nuggets are missing, sauces are missing, napkins are missing, drinks are given out differently than ordered). The employees, in particular a woman, react annoyed and increasingly slightly aggressively to questions in the MC Drive (e.g. why sauces are put in different bags despite two orders). Burgers are half unpackaged and the toppings are very loose. The MC wraps stick to the pack so you have to remove half of them, and they are not rolled but flat like a piece of toast. We are very disappointed with the service and the goods and would like to see improvement!

What a disappointment! Waiting over an hour for food is simply unacceptable in a fast food restaurant. McDonald's stands for speed and efficiency, but there was no sense of that here. Not a single word of apology or explanation from the staff as the waiting times got longer and longer. The food ended up being lukewarm and carelessly packaged. This is definitely not what you expect when you want to grab something quickly. I won't be going back here any time soon!

Food cold, tables and toilets dirty

Here, once again, a standard burger is packed, even though it is personalized and therefore more expensive. Nobody cares. Neither will mqn get your money back nor will you get a replacement. It happens at least 10 times. Unfortunately it's always on the drive and every time I pay too much and throw away the burger because I can't tolerate the BBQ sauce and so I order without it. It's just embarrassing and customer-unfriendly what's going on. For me it's a system fraud!!!!! Update 01/27/25 twice this month since cheated twice. Once, again as always, part of the order was missing. The other time a burger wasn't as ordered. That's it for now. I'd rather drive a few km further

What kind of crap is being sold here? Long waiting time, cold burgers with hardly any salad/sauce, chicken nuggets dark brown/dry, everything tastes musty. The boys are working hard, especially the three young packers/bringers. It's better to talk to each other instead of putting your foot down. Unfortunately, the shift manager is too good for the three of them and doesn't seem to get any pressure and just spins around everywhere himself. However, the store also seems to be too small for the crowd.

What disappoints children when it rains is that there are no games to play. This is really unfortunate for a famous restaurant like McDonald's.

I have no idea why there are so few staff there, maybe they pay too little.

Yes, what can I say. At least the third time this year that I'm standing there in MC Drive and there's a sign on the speaker column saying "No ice cream or shakes today!" Corrosive. And then they always look stupid when they ask “Welcome to McDonald’s, your order please?” And I just say "No goodbye." . 😜 You always just want strawberry shake! That's quite annoying. And then you end up standing in the path behind the front vehicles forever and can't get out. Oh well.

The McDonald's near the Moselstadion, near the Globus Baumarkt and the SWT Trier Arena, also offers a drive-thru service. The branch is always clean and well-maintained, and the location is super convenient, especially if you want a quick snack before or after a visit to the stadium or arena. It is said that the cleanliness of the toilets says a lot about the restaurant. Unfortunately, I only saw the condition of the toilet after ordering. There was urine everywhere on the floor and it smelled terrible.

Unfortunately, the McD in Trier is not on the same level as comparable McDs elsewhere; I have never ordered anything without problems. Either something is missing and you have to run after it or misunderstood, soda without syrup (Sprite is colorless) so I avoid this restaurant if I can.

Today I was at McDonalds on Zurmeiner Straße in Trier. I ordered at the terminal. Had a Happy Meal with Planet Nuggets for my son. Also wanted the book and not the Smurf. I wanted everything to take with me. But I probably clicked on the wrong one. The employee put everything on the tablet. Then I waited another five minutes for the nuggets. When I went to pick everything up and said I wanted it to go, all I was shown was the note. It said Tablet. He then reluctantly packed everything into a bag. The cold drink bottles first. Then the food. When I get home, I just have to go around the corner. After a 2 minute walk everything was cold. To my horror, they were also normal nuggets and not a planet. My son isn't allowed to eat them at all. The next disappointment was that we didn't have a book but a Smurf. I then went back and wanted to exchange other nuggets and the smurf. Was then insulted very harshly. I could have checked the order directly. It wasn't possible to exchange it. I have a sick child at home. I wanted to make him happy. I definitely won't go there again.

Today it's absolutely amazing, I'm super horrified and disappointed. - Waited 7 minutes at the drive-in intercom until my order was accepted - then another 8 minutes until it went 2 cars further - There was a full garbage bag from the garbage collector lying around outside the dining area, the garbage collector overflowed, the tables were full of empty food packaging, paper and napkins were flying around - It took 13 minutes from ordering to delivery - The food was handed to me carelessly, no hello, etc. - Fries + double chili cheese were great - Cheeseburger cold - Nugget burger not edible, burger soggy, nuggets cold and tough - 2. Chili Cheese was missing the chili Unfortunately I can't give 0 stars or less here, but my visit to MC Donald Zurmaienerstrasse today was unreasonable, disappointing and will not be repeated in the future. Congratulations to today's restaurant management and the team. If you are on duty more often, this branch may close soon 👍

I ordered a vegetarian burger (MC Plant), I get a normal burger with meat in the McPlant packaging, which I unfortunately find really cheeky

Just stopped for a quick snack while passing through. Used table service and received my food (which was hot) in a very friendly manner in a few minutes.

Sorry, but I only went inside to use the toilet and there was never a problem with the staff saying that consumption was mandatory or something.

Waiting times are a disaster. Stood in the drive for 30 minutes. This is really an outrage. Then it's better to limit the service completely than not being able to get out of this queue. Many options in combination not plant-based possible...a shame

There are less than 10 guests and it takes 15 minutes for a single Big Mac. Then I can go to a real burger restaurant. There isn't much difference in price either.

New at McDonald's: Half portion of McFlurry for only €4.29!!! I ordered a McFlurry with no toppings and didn't even get half a cup of ice cream. When I complained to the shift manager, I only received the stupid answer: "That's the way it is." The service at this branch has always been marginal, but this experience was the final straw. The Mc Donald in Trier is the most expensive McDonald's I've ever been to. A Mc menu costs 3 euros more than in other cities in Germany. Furthermore, a Mcplan, which is otherwise the cheapest burger on the Mc menus at the Mc Donald in Trier, is 50 cents more expensive. In this day and age, vegetarian dishes are no longer more expensive than meat dishes.

Very slow service, waited almost 45 minutes for our food. Food was incomplete and they were stingy with what they gave. Not recommended! 😢

Only 1 socket. And people constantly come up to you and want to charge their cell phones or work on their computers there. Otherwise, I really like McDonald's.
