McDonald's in Trier

An old McDonald's, the kind where you are still served by REAL PEOPLE. No vending machines anywhere. No matter when you come, you always wait at least 10 minutes for your food, which works for me. One reason is not to go there anymore. However, sometimes I am forced to visit this McDonald's. And you can't even redeem your points there

Clean shop. Unfortunately not barrier-free.

Even going to the toilet costs (1€). That's not fun when you go out to eat with your family; The consumption voucher can only be redeemed afterwards. It doesn't work at all. The prices (e.g. cheeseburger solo €2.69) unacceptable. It's definitely better to eat "real" food nearby instead of fast food.

Slow service, dirty toilets without toilet paper. Dirty floor, cleaning is apparently not high on the list here....

Visit: 10/14/24 approx. 7:30 p.m Restaurant does not participate in the bonus program. This was pointed out to us unkindly. The older lady at the checkout was completely annoyed. Original sound to the colleague: “Where do so many people come from? The fries were old. We should have complained, but after the annoyance of taking the order I didn't feel like it anymore. Nobody wanted to clean, the tables were completely dirty... So, absolutely not recommended. I'm sorry. The “management” should rethink the whole thing!

I recently ate at McDonald's and overall it was a good experience. The food was fresh and the selection is huge - from classic burgers to delicious salads. The service was quick and the staff friendly. A small point of criticism is that the cleanliness in the restaurant was not consistently convincing. Some tables could perhaps have been cleaned up a bit more. Overall, a solid place for a quick snack or cheap meal. I'd love to come back! 4 stars!

No, service and cleanliness underground

You don't have any great expectations, but what you experience here is unbelievable. There are no digital machines here yet. Queued for almost 3/4 hours. Nobody really knows what he does. Totally dirty and shitty. Never again...

Rarely have I experienced such an unfriendly restaurant employee as here. Food was classic McDonald's. There were no drinks advertised on the billboard - there was no explanation as to why and if only temporarily, so possibly just a one-day problem.

Food was good, staff is very nice and friendly, unfortunately there is no air conditioning here and the toilets cost 1 euro.

We were there on Fridays and we've never experienced anything so disgusting in McDonald's... tables messed up Burger cold and dry... the lettuce on the burger looked like it was from the day before... then my son had the stalk of lettuce on his burger... that was definitely the first and last time there!!!

The staff is friendly and the shop is centrally located, but for MC Donald's standard it's totally overpriced. For €10 I just got a fries and 6 chicken MC nuggets

An absolute juice shop. The staff tries hard, but they only speak very little German. The only one who understands a little more gets upset when a child chooses a toy because they don't feel like looking for it in the chaos. The cleanliness in the store also leaves a lot to be desired. Definitely never again

McDonald's is centrally located, everything is ok. Unfortunately very dirty. Tables, chairs, benches all greasy and smeared. Floor unclean. Window smeared. Toilets unclean, mirrors smeared. Unfortunately sad. Nobody cares about cleaning.

i couldn’t get a sprite even though there was multiple bottles of sprite in the fridge and the man wasn’t explaining why until the woman came and explained that i needed to buy either a water or an apple thing to be able to get the sprite. but it was in the fridge so i don’t understand why. no straw or lid on my coke which led to it being spilled.

Waited in line for 30 minutes because 3 out of 5 employees are outside to smoke and chat with private friends. The staff then goes to get drinks, see the many people in line, but ignore it. The store is very dirty. Nothing is filled, which is why the employee has to go to the warehouse to get water. It's 8pm Monday evening, not much going on. Total disaster.

The McDonald is very centrally located, but that's about it. We only ordered two ice creams, but everything went wrong. Both McFlurries were extremely soft right from the start and thawed very quickly (even though it wasn't even that warm). A topping was delivered incorrectly and none of the McFlurries were scrambled, as they usually are. Since the toppings were filled with a spoon, the toppings were also partially mixed. Toilets cost €1, you get a voucher for this, but you can only redeem it when you order. If you want to go to the toilet after eating, you're basically out of luck.

A typical McDonald's. The use of toilets is very well regulated. Tourists do not have the opportunity to use it for free here. I would like to see this in all big cities because of the cleanliness.

Standard for a McDonald's in a historic building. There are relatively few indoor seats downstairs. But there are stairs up and then there is more space. The toilet was upstairs too. Not ideal for strollers or wheelchairs. Otherwise everything is okay.

Die Hygiene ist absolut ekelhaft überall auf denn sitzen dieses verschmierte fett und grümel,die Zutaten sind nicht frisch und schmecken immer trocken und alt wie sehr häufig der Salat oder das Brot das Personal ist dazu noch sehr überfordert und verpeilt immer vergessen immer ganze Bestellung zu beenden oder Sachen aus dem menü dazu kommt aus der unteren Etage aus der küche dieses muffige Geruch bitte unbedingt einen Hygiene Check Durchführen

Truly the worst McDonalds I've ever been to. I came here to order 2 milkshakes, I first stood in line for 20 minutes before I was helped because the kitchen was very slow. In addition, it was not busy so 20 minutes is really absurd. They make the person's order for you first before taking your order.

I witnessed the team refusing to let a heavily pregnant woman, who had a meal there by the way, enter the bathroom unless she paid 1 euro. This tells much about their sense of hospitality and respect of their clients. I was disgusted by their attitude and will not return there.

I just drank a coke and visited my girlfriend who works there. Ambiance is too dark; Zurmaienerstr. is brighter and friendlier colors

The restaurant is very old. The staff was very unfriendly because they were overwhelmed. The queue stretched all the way to the entrance/exit. We ate in the restaurant. The table and seats were dirty even though the cleaning lady had just moved away from the place. My daughter had to pay €1 at a machine/barrier to go to the toilet, which was also dirty. The chicken cheeseburger was still ok, I had to spit the cheeseburger into my napkins, it was so disgusting. I'm not sensitive, but that's not possible! Never again !

Rude staff, I asked for small menus and zero coke and they gave me all large ones with normal coke! Rude and rude. Toilet only against payment!!! Is that still possible? Paid 28 euros for the cold fries, dry burgers etc. etc. and you couldn't even use the toilet! I ordered here a few times over the past days and I am….. not really pleased. The waiting time is to long, they make each order on the spot, which makes the waiting time long. The McFlurry looked and tasted like butter the first time, the second time like something I would produce in the night with my wife. And I have a question, are the employees here forced to work here? Their attitude was not good(with an exception for the Asian employee, he was very nice). Overall, wouldn’t recommend

There is no bin, the food wasn’t tasty, the ice cream was very disgusting, the service was very slow and the tables weren’t clean.

Food was fine, but the service is bad, they don't give things and really mess with the employees.

I'm going to eat here with my buddies and they'll eat everything. All orders go wrong, they are super grumpy and you have to bring your own food.

The food is sometimes terrible (cheeseburgers) the manager takes photos of us and sends them on WhatsApp and writes on WhatsApp while there are 15 customers standing in front of him and in general there are not enough employees here given the rush (waiting time 10-15 minutes) and that they Display where you haven't ordered yet is also bad. I've never been to such a dirty McDonald's in Germany. Using the toilet also costs €1, which I haven't experienced yet. In return you get a disgustingly smelly, totally pissed-off toilet where you don't even know where to step... Doesn't work at all. How can you eat something in a shop like that?

Asking for extra money for the toilet even though we ate there with 5 people is really a no-go. From now on I will go to another McDonald's. That's really annoying!

Alte, ausländische Frau unfreundlich, laut rechthaberisch! Auf ein McFlurry hat Sie mir 1 Shot Schoko für 4,29 € verkauft! Ich hab sie aufmerksam gemacht, dass drei Shot drauf kommen, die zwei fehlenden Shot. Schoko hat sie mir nicht gegeben! Alle ihre Kollegen haben das mitbekommen! Fazit ist für 4,29 € ein Shot Schoko, verarscht von so einer Ausländerin und betrogen! So uneinsichtig und sehr sehr sehr unfreundlich diese alte Ausländerin!!!! Nie mehr wieder McDonald in Trier am Hauptmarkt!!!!

In Trier's main market, I ordered a McFlurry with chocolate for €4.29 (3 shots are also available for €4.29). I got 1Shot for the same price! I complained about it and the old foreign woman was very unfriendly, loud and opinionated!!!! I didn't get the other two missing shorts. I pointed out to her that she didn't give me three shots. It would be my fault, she replied loudly.!!!! All of her colleagues noticed this! The bottom line is, you're really getting ripped off for the same money! From such foreigners!!! When I came there, there was only 1 person in front of me on the line but the line got longer very fast. I didn't wait long to get served but since only 1 cashier was open (when I was there) the other customers waited a long time. Unglaublich freundliche Servicefachkraft an der Theke, hebt sich durch ihr sympathisches Wesen und ihr echtes Lächeln enorm von den meisten Servicekräften/Mitarbeitern solcher Ketten ab!! ✨✨✨

Es ist halt ein MC Donalds. Die Qualität kann schwanken. An manchen Tagen ist es der übliche Mäcces Mampf. An anderen ist es ungenießbar und die Burgerbrötchen sind vertrocknet. Qualitätskontrolle sollte optimiert werden.

Schnelles Essen wofür Mc Donalds steht, darf man hier nicht erwarten! Jede Mittagspause stehe ich zur selben Uhrzeit hier und vorne an der Kasse stehen 2 Leute die bedienen und alles einpacken. Bevor man hier also seine Bestellung aufgegeben kann, wartet man zwischen 10 und 15 Minuten! Wenn man 30 Minuten Pause hat, den Weg hier her mit einberechnet, wie soll man da es noch schaffen, in seiner Mittagspause zu essen und rechtzeitig zurück zu sein? Hier herrscht extremer Personalmangel, was keinen zu interessieren scheint, weil es mittlerweile seit einem Jahr so läuft! WAHNSINN! Katastrophe dieser Laden, auch was die Sauberkeit betrifft!

Erg lange rij door zeer langzame keuken, stinkende toiletten die je ruikt over de hele bovenverdieping en ook een uitgedroogd broodje met keiharde knapperige randen. McDonald’s onwaardig . Ook nog hele hoge drempel bij de deur waardoor je er met de rolstoel niet in kan. Nooit meer heengaan

Mitarbeiter sind nett, das ist das einzig Positive an diesem McD, daher 2 Sterne. Der Rest ist 0 Sterne - angefangen von langen Warteschlangen wegen schlechter Organisation/zu wenig Personal (Thema für den Inhaber und/oder Chef!!!), über Abzocke (1 Euro für das WC obwohl man dort isst???), über die mangelnde Sauberkeit (überall Dreck!). Weiter geht es mit gestohlenen/abgerissenen Monopoly Aufklebern bei ausgegebenen Getränken (geht's noch?) und falschem Essen (McNuggets statt Plant-Nuggets). Daher nie wieder.

Dreckig, überall lagen Pommes und Verpackungen auf dem Boden. Schlange bis zur Türe und nur 2 Kassen offen. Toilette kostet 1 Euro und dann bekommt man einen Gutschein für 1 Euro, aber nur für dieses Restaurant. Wir kommen aus Stuttgart, der Gutschein bringt mir nichts.

Nachdem wir viel Geld für die ganze Familie zum Essen liegen gelassen haben, musste unser Kind aufs Klo, da durften wir noch einen Euro extra zahlen. An der Kasse sagte man uns, dafür bekommen wir einen Wertgutschein, aber da wir schon gegessen hatten, und nicht aus Trier waren, konnten wir diesen nicht einlösen.

Бываю в этом заведении, довольно часто и с каждым разом все больше, и больше поражаюсь с персонала Персонал не приветлывый! не внимательный! когда я пришла в заведении и начала делать, заказ и несколько раз повторила что я буду кушать в заведении но почему-то мне запоковали еду с собой.🤦🏻‍♀️

Ich muss ehrlich sagen nicht zu Empfehlen, man wird vom SErvice angeschrien. Nicht Verstanden und man Wartet ewig auf Chees bzw Double Cheesburger die eher an Smashed Bürger Erinnern. Ich denke das war mein Letzter McDonalds aufenthalt in diesem Restaurant Ähnlcihen Gefilde, es gibt eine McDonalds faust Regel diese kann ich Bestättigen ob LA, London oder Prag es schmeckt überall exakt gleich. DAS HIER HAT NICHTS MIT McDonalds zu tun. Ps der Bürger bestand zu zirka 35% aus Ketchup!!! Er war Kalt und Bapig. Und darauf habe ich noch über 10 Minuten gewartet.
