McDonald's in Trier

Never again! I stood in Mc Drive for 15 minutes and ordered 2 double pack menus via the app and paid via PayPal. Then I was told at the counter that the code was 20 chicken nuggets. Even after showing me the app order several times, they couldn't help me and pointed out system problems. Then I got too stupid and left without eating.

McDonald's like everywhere else. The food always tastes the same. Mostly well attended. You have to queue.

It always takes a long time at the drive-in counter, because there are so many cars, of course. It's not any better inside either. It was busy, yes! But the carrier bags were ready much quicker than my little bag with the MC Smart menu: 2 cheeseburgers, 1 fries. 15 min waiting time after paying. I think it's faster! My cheeseburger reminded me of a bloodbath 🙈

Disaster! The store was completely overcrowded, waiting time 42 minutes. The food was only lukewarm, the whole shop and the toilets were dirty. Completely overwhelmed staff.

We went there for breakfast with my family at the weekend. We weren't really there yet and were told in a stressed and somewhat harsh tone that we could order from the machine, otherwise we would have to wait for them. The sound plays the music! the food was okay. I suddenly got a crazy headache and wanted to take a tablet, since I only had one coffee, my husband asked for a sip of water to take the tablet. And again in an annoyed tone, then they have to buy soda. He asked for a sip of water (from the tap)!" No, that's not possible...!" The shift manager came over and she claimed that my husband wanted a whole bottle of soda. The shift manager then kindly helped us. For me it's not about the water, it's about how you treat people/customers. No matter what it's about, a little patience and kindness wouldn't be too much to ask. I know myself that in stressful situations you get annoyed and have to bite your tongue like crazy. That's just how it is!

Burnt breakfast and definitely nothing to do with the photos on the order card. Waiting seats have been broken for ages. Upper floor closed because cleaning is taking place. Can't you do this outside opening hours so that guests have space to sit??? The store's quality continues to decline. As a restaurant owner I would be ashamed. Never again!

Unfortunately it was cold and took a long time to prepare. If you want more cleanliness you can also stand outside by the trash can. The best thing about the restaurant is the exit.

Update, 9/19/24 We dared to bring a delivery via Lieferando... Delivery time a good half hour, food warm, everything as ordered. The driver was very nice and friendly and it was delicious as usual. As long as the difficulties mentioned below are resolved, we will be happy to order from you more often. Don't waste it... ;-) End of update. Why only one star? The branch is nice, no question. Conveniently located with plenty of parking and the staff is usually very friendly. Even then, someone has a bad day. The food is typical for McD, standardized and always the same, which is exactly why you get it. Then you know what you have. But... Order via Lieferando: Unfortunately, this wasn't the first failure. A delivery time of under an hour is shown. After an hour and a half you start to feel slightly nervous. Then the driver comes and has the completely wrong meal in his luggage, which you didn't order. Communication was also difficult; he didn't speak a word of German. Then the odyssey begins. I want my money back, but I'm still hungry. The branch offers me a free meal as a courtesy, but I have to pick it up. But that's exactly why I order delivery! Because I don't want to leave again, that's * Lieferando *'s job! The telephone complaint was responded to in a very friendly and professional manner. You can pick up a meal on the house. But that's no longer a delivery service. Long story short: the branch itself, the food and the staff, everything is good! But unfortunately the failures via Lieferando don't work at all. Please get this under control, then we'll be happy to add some well-deserved stars! But...not like that at first.

I have to wait a whole hour for my food and because I eat here I don't get served first! I have ordered and expect my food no later than 15 minutes later. I don't see how people who order take-away food can get there beforehand when I have to wait over an hour.

Ordered via terminal. After 50 minutes there was still no food and no response when asked. Nobody could really speak German. After 1 hour 15 there was still no food. If we go back to ask, it will be finished immediately and the children will get an ice cream as compensation. Food finally arrived after 1.30 hours. Everything was completely cold and 3 burgers were missing. If there was any further complaint, we would just do it again. We then canceled everything because we didn't feel like it and the children were already sad because they still didn't get a happy meal. We left with sad children without compensation. Cannot recommend this branch. Hire people who can also speak German.

Mega unfriendly staff, zero insight in discussing with customers

Tables very sticky and floor slippery. First we had to clean the tables with toilet paper. Staff plays football with the Nuggets ⚽ It's only available here, nobody speaks German

Waited again for the food for over 30 minutes!! Employees don't get along with each other... From month to month the juice shop gets worse and worse!! It's probably at the rubber boat pier!!!!!! Disgusting

I ordered via Uber Eats. When the courier arrived at McDonald's, he called and said that what he had ordered was no longer available. By then I had already had to wait 0.5 hours instead of McDonald's telling me that the goods I ordered couldn't be delivered...

After almost 15 years, I wanted to have breakfast there with a friend. I ordered breakfast with a croissant, usually Nutella or jam and cappuccino for 3.99 euros. When breakfast was brought to us I noticed that there was no jam or Nutella on the tray. I spoke to the young man and he said these products were empty. That really upset me. No alternative was offered, nothing...

We are campers and stopped for one night. The toilets were great in the morning. Unfortunately not in the evening. We were allowed to hand over our deposit cups without ordering food and without any limits. I thought that was great and right. Unfortunately it's not like that everywhere. You could buy and dispose of water for €1 in the parking lot next door. In the evenings, car fans like to meet in the parking lot and argue about who has the loudest and fastest, which makes the evening very restless and unsafe. For us it was just an emergency stop for one night.

The complaint was sent to McDonald's itself, pointing out that it was a franchise. If the boss reads this: at least try to get the store on track! The tables were dirty, while I was waiting several complaints were returned to the counter, an employee in the kitchen was just cursing loudly with swear words, so he was warned by the cashier to please be quiet. I completely ignore the waiting time of around 20 minutes for a burger menu, the highlight came when I was eating the burger on the way. The meat was raw on the inside and was unfortunately disgusting.

Overall a good experience. Food was good, drinks oké, peach ice thea was not. Service was good, they clean your table in between. Burgers en Fries very good taste.

For me it's clear never again, it's the second time today that I've been waiting for over an hour for just one menu (burger, fries, and drink) and there aren't many people there and then I get such a stupid answer that's just dad 😑 no it is Not families who came after me have already finished eating. If this Mcdo continues like this, it will soon close its doors

Just been there and as usual for a McDonald's in the evening, it was packed. I ordered 20 plant-based nuggets and curly fries at the terminal. Waited 40 minutes and then the bag without Curly Fries was on the counter. Spoken to the employee and received Curly Fries ten minutes later. When I got home I had a bad surprise: no plant based nuggets but normal ones. It doesn't work at all! Employees were obviously totally overwhelmed, and from what I noticed while waiting, other guests also received the wrong things and/or something was missing. Well what can you say, never again.

After a long dry spell, the quality and preparation of the food has noticeably improved again. Still the best McDonalds in Trier. Well attended on weekends.

Drive placed an order and paid at the first window with a 100€ note, for the first time no receipt was received and, strangely enough, 20 euros in change was not received enough.

The staff who take the order are often very slow. The staff that brings the food is better. The tables are not always clean.

We ordered about 1 1/2 hours ago via Lieferando and paid via PayPal. As I said, the food came after over 90 minutes. What can I say: The driver didn't speak a word of German (not too bad since he obviously spoke English) but what's worse is that we received the completely wrong order. And now the dance started: Call to MacD to ask what was going on, then a back and forth about "No drivers" - yes we got the money back via Lieferando - information from the MacD boss that we could pick up the order ourselves (no - we can't, that's why we ordered).. Everything turned out very unfortunate... I still like the Big Mac and I regret it, but I, or rather we, will not order it again.

The worst cappuccino I've ever had in a Mac. Not a good start to the day.

Just absolutely disgusting. I took pictures and will send them to the health department. On June 29th, 2024 it wasn't cleared away for hours, leftover food was flying around, no receipts in the printer, everything was broken, toilets were overflowing & the staff was absolutely overwhelmed. Please close if you no longer have any motivation or level to maintain the standard. A shame for McDonald. This criticism is escalated to management and the health department with pictures and videos.

Bottomless juice shop, unfriendly staff, has nothing to do with FAST food

It's the last of the last, the last, always forgetting to pack something from the order, unpleasant service, long waiting times until everything is ready. It's not like it was years ago.

Very nice staff. I also found it nice, nice place and clean. Food was quite good. Large parking available.

Just typical Mäcce food. But it really could be warmer. It's best to order fries without salt and then put salt on them yourself. If you order a burger that has cucumbers on it, it's best to order it without the cucumber, then it will be really hot.

Apart from the prices, the “restaurant” has become really run down. Every snack bar is cleaner. The tables look like crap and there is probably no attempt to wipe them down. The motivation of the employees can be seen, which is no surprise to me. Walking in circles with the wiping cloth in your hand isn't exactly effective; you should "shuffle" towards the table and use the cloth there. While I was sitting there, the highly motivated MA shuffled in circles several times with the rag in her hand, her arm never reaching higher than her hip. The receipt and the dirt under the next table have been there for over an hour. 👎🏻 Order was also brought to the table incomplete.

McDonald's menu prices are around 3 euros more expensive than in other cities in Germany. The vegetarian burgers are also more expensive than the meat burgers. This is also different in other cities.

McDonald's. But now it's no longer worth eating at McDonald's. The average price for a meal is around €12 and you can also spend that amount at an Italian restaurant or a chip shop. A 20g nugget alone, which once cost €8.99, now costs €12.99. A small fries costs €3.29 and the large portion costs €4.29, but you can buy a 2.5kg bag in retail stores. Inflation and VAT increases are honourable, but if you eat at McDonald's you are not in a 5* restaurant. The prices are slowly becoming completely disproportionate to what you can eat there. Eating there with three people will cost you over €50. I can treat myself to a mushroom cream schnitzel in a restaurant with three people and pay the same.

Ordered today via Lieferando, debited. Delivery was very fast. Half of it was missing, we were told on the phone that they couldn't deliver anymore. It was simply hung up with emphasis that the very last thing. After unpacking half the order I felt sick, ate the MC Rib and the other Mc Rib cannot be described in words. Pictures I would like to add that in the end, how customers are treated, everything only happens if you are a self-starter. Hopefully things will change and the staff will also take a look around. We'll never order from there again

MC Drive is one of the slowest in Germany. You stand there for at least 20 minutes until you can order.

Constantly switching up the food you order. I don't know how you manage to get the wrong burger multiple times when you order it. Here you should ALWAYS check whether you get what you order. I've probably ordered a burger for €5+ five times and only got a cheap cheese or chicken burger.

The food only arrived after a little over 50 minutes and it was still partly cold for us. I'm really used to something different. Ordered cream with the hot chocolate and had to pay extra for it, so we didn't get any and no compensation

I was here as a teenager with my family and we waited in line for over half an hour, but our food never came. We asked twice and the answer was always “Just a short wait”. After a while it became too long and we left. They weren't interested in us at all, so I only gave it 1 star.

I always thought McDONALDS is McDonalds. OK, not here. Or not anymore? Depending on which “layer” you find there. So, like everywhere else, the staff ensures how the branch is perceived. It's decent. Nothing special. Just your average fast food joint. Good for a quick bite and / or lunch.

When will you lazy employees finally learn to wipe the tables and clear away the dirt?? there was nothing going on. pure ignorance. When it happens again, which happens often, I don't even bother to put my tray away because I didn't get a clean table either.

How do I start, no deserts, ice machine broken, half forgotten, codes don't work, unfriendly and extremely overwhelmed staff, close 1 hour early, no longer serve guests 20 minutes before. Unfortunately there are no 0 stars, these would be fair.

Catastrophe. Not only is something constantly missing, but now the burgers are being packaged incorrectly. Instead of Roayl Smoky there was a cheese and instead of double chili cheese there was a chicken burger. You slowly forget about driving there.

I just wanted a 'hamburger' because I was really pressed for time and the branch manager probably noticed and gave me one straight away. So, really very fair and humane!
