McDonald's in Oldenburg (Oldb)

Extremely slow drive-thru service... Sorry, but this looks more like apathy than service... Thumbs down!

I never thought I'd review a McDonald's, but here on Bremer Heerstraße, the entire team is always truly attentive. They even ask if everything is okay during table service. The young team is always friendly and helpful. Keep it up!

Who likes it, 🍔 were not hot, I don't like going there anymore

Unfortunately, it's becoming increasingly common to have to wait 30-45 minutes. Sorry, but then I might as well invest my money in better restaurants; this has nothing to do with fast food anymore. Some employees even move in slow motion.

As always, very friendly and accommodating. Quick and delicious. 😋

Half an hour waiting for food in a quiet environment

I come to eat something with my familiy and ....THEY DON'T HAVE GLUTEN-FREE burgers :( so disgusted, in Netherlands they have in almost all the mcdonald

Waited for 30 minutes and food still isn't here.

Bad service. Staff were completely overworked. A lot of people came. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our food. The floor was quite wet and slippery. It was cleaned much later. This is unacceptable. The staff has let up. Supervisors were very rude to customers. I haven't seen such a bad situation in a long time. In Osterburg and Oldenburg. Simply unclean, tables dirty, and leftover food from 10 other guests scattered around. The photo shows the third table that was changed—still harmless. After asking for the tables to be cleaned, only ours was cleaned; the others remained dirty.

McDonald's but nice service staff!

One of the worst McDonald's ever. The store isn't clean! We had to wait about 30 minutes for our order. We sloppily crammed the stuff into bags and then took it home...as almost always, something was missing. The employees there seem to be very incompetent. I saved myself the trouble of calling them because you can't expect ANYTHING anyway, and I just don't feel like getting into a rude argument (that's how it was last time). A chain this large and powerful doesn't give a damn about its customers because if I don't go there anymore, 10 new customers will.

Always incredibly long waiting times, items are often missing from the order, it feels like they're always understaffed, and the outside of the building is very dated.

Forgot something again at the drive-thru today. Given how often this happens, it can't be a coincidence.

Well they are very overwhelmed and the food was there for at least 10 minutes so you really couldn't enjoy it it was full of tablets so I can't recommend it

Lobby: Tables not clean, trash not removed outside, and tables there dirty as well. This should be different.

It's unbelievable how dirty it is here. There's food all over the floor, all the tables are dirty, and you get stuck everywhere.

Familiar taste but clean is different

We ordered the new "Samurai Mac" burger at the drive-thru, but instead got a Big Mac. We also ordered McPherson nuggets, but instead got the new garlic nuggets. The man was very slow on his feet and almost gave us the wrong order. This shouldn't happen.

We got something completely different than what we ordered, waited over 20 minutes for two McFlurrys at table service... We had to pick up our order ourselves at the checkout.

Hello dear McDonald's team, We often come to your place, but today I was very shocked by how dirty the tables were, so I had to take a cloth myself before sitting down. I watched it for 30 minutes; there should have been time for an employee to clean it. I realize it's stressful, but you should take the time. You're still a great team, and we'll be happy to come back.

Wait times are always long these days. Today it was 24 minutes for, among other things, open burgers (cold at home) and half-full fries.

Unfortunately, you were overwhelmed with two orders, waited 45 minutes for our food, and then only some of the orders arrived...

This is the most incompetent and most in-need-for-improvement MC I've ever encountered. Unfortunately, my wife and I live within walking distance of them and have repeatedly experienced how incompetent the employees, and thus also the store managers, can be. Don't make the mistake of ordering anything here! They are simply unbeatable in their incompetence. Blessings to the staff and store management. You make every other food establishment in the area a more worthy place to order! Oh yes, the reason is still missing. If they had provided the reason, this recession wouldn't have happened. And as described in many other previous reviews, the burgers look like they were designed by "da Vinci" himself.

Unfortunately you have to give stars. The burgers were all way too salty. It was a huge argument to get my money back. The person who prepared the burgers couldn't handle the criticism and got grumpy. Things get forgotten from time to time, which is just a discussion. The shift manager was also really grumpy. Change your job if you don't have any friends there.

Hey, I never write reviews, but this one has to be. I ordered a meal via the app, and when we arrived, I gave the correct code for the order. I received a completely wrong order and was then yelled at by three men on the spot. One was very young, the other probably in their 30s. I had paid by card at the previous counter. I wasn't given a price, so I didn't know I was being charged for the wrong meal. At the second counter, we encountered the problem that a small additional payment was required (of course). There, too, I was treated rudely and unequivocally with a refusal, so I can absolutely advise against visiting the McDrive at this location. The food was okay, though, just like McDonald's. Thank you for the bad feeling I had while eating and the time I wasted. I think it's a shame I was treated so poorly. I didn't receive a receipt either, which is a shame.

Toilets were not so good this time

Cleanliness has become increasingly poor. Floors and tables are often sticky. People no longer enjoy eating there. Meals also take longer and longer.

Milkshake unfortunately much too expensive.

Yuck... Today, after a relaxing day at the pool, I thought I'd treat myself to something at McDonald's. When I ordered my food, I waited a full 30 minutes in the store, but it never arrived. Plus, it felt like a kindergarten outside, and because of the kids, I now have hearing damage. Luckily, I could smoke, otherwise the day would have been over. When the food still wasn't there after 45 minutes, I went into the store and yelled at some idiot. When the food finally arrived, it was disappointing. The chicken patty tasted like my acorn cheese and was very floury and undercooked—good stuff 👍🏻. Luckily, I was able to wash it down with iced tea. Ugh.

I really liked it overall, including the very friendly staff. The sink with water, soap, and a dryer in the entrance area is really something to be praised and would recommend to other hotels!

McDonald's... always consistent. They know what to expect and are rarely surprised. Not the healthiest way to eat, but fast, filling, and affordable.

One of the better McDonald's, with a nice outdoor area. I can't comment on the service, as you have virtually no contact with employees these days.

When you go to McDonald's, you know what you're getting, so I'm only rating the location. Osternburg is one of four McDonald's in Oldenburg. Four custom-made service screens, otherwise the location is quite nice from a structural perspective. Highway access is right next door.

First they got the wrong burgers and then they forgot that the new ones were ready because everything was so disorganized. It was a disaster, and they didn't even get an apology.

Hamburgers as usual, fries as usual, you know the drill! BUT very good and hygienic restrooms, making it a solid Mces!

Perfect service, tidy surroundings. Friendly staff. I really enjoy going there.

We had to wait 30 minutes for our food today. The only thing that's quick at this fast-food giant is the hunger that quickly returns.

Hair was disgusting in my McFlurry, not recommended.

We waited an hour for the food and then not even half of it was right, everything was missing and the people were unfriendly, I find it a disgrace, I really don't have to put up with that anymore, all the employees are overwhelmed and unfriendly and the food is terrible, there are fries everywhere, drinks sticking to the floor, really unhygienic, the food is totally cold, just awful and that for the third time in a row, we will never go there again and about 40 euros is rubbish

Are the neighbors of the McDonald's bought 8x Filet-o-Fish 4 looked exactly the same they reported it and got 5 new ones I would say they solved the problem successfully strong team

I just got myself a cappuccino. Looking through the back spoiled my appetite. Very dirty. I've never seen an MC this dirty.

Ordered 3 burgers and 1 fries. The burgers were so squashed and looked really unappetizing. At the exchange, the employee was totally cheeky and asked: "What do you expect if you order so much Burgwn?" I insisted on freshly made burgers and they were squashed again. The fries were inedible, as if they had been made the day before and were slightly warm. I have never experienced such bad food at McDonalds. Never again in this branch.

Really just a bad shop. Rarely seen such a bad Mcces. Every second order was made wrong and the parking lot was a disaster...

We go there maybe once or twice a year and just because the kids think it's cool. I simply get more for the money elsewhere. I find the food stuffy, expensive and inadequate.

The way McDonald's is, there's nothing to complain about! May 2025, everything is still fine as you would expect from MC Donalds!

Every now and then something is forgotten but otherwise good and fast service

Despite ordering via the app, there were long waiting times to get to the counter. Then another long wait until you get the food. And then the McDonald’s surprise bag comes, checking whether it actually contains what was ordered. This even works in one out of five orders. Burgers are lukewarm, fries are soggy. Fast food? Rather the opposite. The Drive In principle: not understood. And then with unfriendly, snotty staff.

Service was very quick and nice!

The woman on the phone was extremely disrespectful and unfriendly. She does a terrible job and doesn't take her customers into consideration, preferring to be disrespectful in every way. The food was delivered completely wrong and cold too! Burger King definitely does a better job and knows what respect is!

On March 23rd, 2025 I ordered a 20 pack of McPlant nuggets to take away and checked in the store to see if they were the right ones. The McPlant label was dented from the outside, indicating that it was the correct order. At home it turned out that it was the Spicy Chicken Nuggets. So I had to go back (10 minute drive) and explained the problem. There was no apology or compensation, just issuing the correct order without comment. It's unacceptable that if you follow a diet (vegetarian or vegan) you have to look at every product before leaving the store!

Very friendly staff! I often go there late in the evening after work and have never had to wait long for food. And it always tastes good.

Four terminals for ordering are not enough at weddings and those in the kitchen need a cooler head because the fries were unsalted and the two Big Macs were thrown together in such a way that it looked more like a crooked salad burger.

The food is always delicious (unfortunately 😂🤣). Unfortunately, in this branch the private conversations were more important than the guests seeking help. We then offered the old couple our help.

Clean and friendly, what more could you want.

I ordered a Chicken Classic with an additional 2 x bacon and only have 3 small pieces on it, it looks more like normal bacon.... I think that's a disgrace!

After 40 years of abstinence from McDonald's, we stood in the store a little helpless, but a very nice employee took care of us immediately and gave us very friendly advice. Good food, good price, decent atmosphere, we'd love to come back!

Ate there again after a long time. It still isn't any better....

After an absolutely terrible night (with a toddler in the emergency room), we really needed a little something to eat. An absolutely lovely employee took time for us and looked after us lovingly. Although we didn't expect it in a fast food restaurant, we found a compassionate person who was able to make our night better and improve our mood significantly. Thank you again!

Today it didn't take long to eat and it was even warm for a change! Hence the basic two stars. Unfortunately I received the wrong nuggets in the correct packaging. When I kindly pointed this out to the employee at the window, he immediately dismissed me with the words “but that’s plant-based”. At the time he hadn't even opened the packaging. Since the vegetarian version of the nuggets was available, I have only eaten these at McDonals. You can also notice the difference in taste, so it's not difficult to tell the difference. Instead of an apology or something similar, the highly competent employee smiled at me - laughed at me and gave me new, real plant based nuggets. Impossible behavior! Such a person should definitely not be in direct contact with customers.

I was there today with my girlfriend and it started as soon as we paid. A younger gentleman complained that he had to walk too much, etc. The food came relatively quickly But my burger was thrown together so badly... I'm really at a loss for words. Then I had to go to the toilet and that was really bad! Never again!!!!

Well, I think you can accept a lot at fast food restaurants, but the fact that we were given an already eaten burger in McDrive - that's really disgusting. You really can't make something like that up. Google won't let us add the image because it's "against their guidelines."

I've never had such an unfriendly driver. He didn't find me at first and then wanted me to come down 3 floors in the rain barefoot because he didn't want to walk up.

Manager 12/17/2024 at 1:00 p.m. did not redeem non-working code for food. Problem with the app described, question about goodwill because code doesn't work, despite showing: she doesn't believe customers. Last time I ate something here today. Bad customer service and no solution found. Embarrassing to hire something like that as a manager

Waited 22 minutes for 2 small menus. Fries cold + 1 burger cold, other burgers lukewarm, cola so full of ice cubes you could hardly drink it. It used to be better.

It was extremely full, but I still think you can find space here and there. Food tastes good, unfortunately it just took a little longer.

Unfortunately one of the lousy McDonalds. The fries were cold and not salted enough, although that is also a matter of taste. The cheeseburgers and hamburgers were also only lukewarm and dry, something I've never experienced before. But the absolute low point was the apple turnover that I took home with me. Not golden in color, but burnt. Unfortunately it immediately ended up in the trash. Photo available! We will no longer be seen in this branch.

Food as always. The staff should be trained more.

We were here and first placed two orders at the terminal. My friend then wanted to redeem a coupon when we were already at the checkout. Although it is possible to redeem and then order normally at the checkout (for all customers without an app), we were directed back to the terminals instead of our order simply being taken. And that was just because we had a cell phone in our hands. The employee then passed on our order intake to a somewhat inexperienced employee in order to continue doing his job. But all of this with the words: "Orders are not possible at the checkout but only at the terminals", very rude.

The dirtiest McD. that Oldenburg has to offer after the shed in the city center had to give up the title. Every table really sticks here.

It's 11:45 p.m., November 3rd... The gentleman behind the cash register acts as if he doesn't know German and wants to kid me, but he's wearing the headset, which is why I assume he speaks German very well! I don't have any appetite anymore, thank you very much! These people have no respect for “food” which is why I am staying away from this business!
