McDonald's in Hanau

Unfortunately, I've already had indigestion twice after a visit there. Something's not right.

I'll never go there again. I ordered a Big Mac and 20 chicken nuggets with table service. First I waited half an hour, then he put the tray on the table, left without saying anything. I said the burger wasn't there, ignored me, and left. Then he came back with the burger, looked at me like an idiot, said nothing, and took the topping and threw it back. P.S., never go there.

Very well-maintained McDonald's. Hardly any wait time.

The food's still good, but this place has gone downhill since they switched up the staff. Every time I order, something's missing, and it's usually a lot. Today, I was missing like 10€ worth of food from my 36€ order. I went back to get it, and then when I got home, even more stuff was missing. Seriously disappointing..

First of all, my chocolate milkshake didn't taste good; it was a bit sour. I then went to the cashier and asked if everything was okay with the chocolate milkshake. He then tasted it from my straw and said, yes, it just added a little more syrup. I got my chocolate milkshake back with the straw he drank it from. In my opinion, that's not hygienic.

Terrible service. A very long wait for orders. They always forget to put something down. Today is August 26, 2025, order number 230 – I didn't put two pineapple and apple pies down. I noticed the defect at home. And so often – sauces and toys always have to be checked. If you haven't checked, consider that you were deceived. A week ago, they served a regular caramel latte instead. If you have an alternative, don't go here!

What can I say? Typical McDonald's. A good solution for a post-party stop, but not a long-term favorite.

I used the delivery service and was surprised that it took so long today and then I got an email that my order had been cancelled for no reason, thank you for nothing.

The visit to the fast-food chain was overall satisfactory, even if the wait times were sometimes a bit longer. The friendliness of the staff was particularly impressive, as they always made every effort to process orders promptly. The food on offer lived up to expectations and provided a welcome snack. Despite minor delays, the overall experience at this fast-food restaurant is highly recommended, thanks to the friendly service.

It's become common practice at this branch to check more closely whether the order is complete at the drive-in counter. But after an experience this week, we will avoid the Lamboystraße branch in the future. My order, one meal and two individual burgers, was handed to me through the window in two paper bags. One bag was so torn that the contents almost fell out. When I asked for another bag, the server took both of my bags and slapped them into a larger bag with handles, handed it to me without a word, and walked away. When she returned to the window a while later with another order, she grumbled at me that I had everything. No, I didn't; the drink that came with the meal was still missing. She didn't take a fresh cup, but instead took one that had been sitting for a while, filled it, and gave it to me. I asked her if that wasn't the cup she had been drinking from earlier. The server yelled at me, saying I should have seen her take a new cup. No, I hadn't. And I had a very good view from the car. That was the last time we went to that store.

The floor was sticky, like a test track for glue. Then there were those signs with the order numbers, dirty and filthy. First you touch those dirty things and then you touch the food. Very scary and difficult situations. We were in the branch before 11 a.m. So the dirt wasn't from hundreds of guests who had already walked through.

The McDonald's world tour begins today, which I think is a really cool initiative for the first time in a long time. I had the Philly Cheeseburger, the Cheeseburger Shaker Fries, the Black Pepper Nuggets, along with the Black Pepper and Soy Sauce, the Pirri Pirri Sauce, and the McFizz Sakura Cherry Cola to drink. Let's start with the best and work our way down. I liked the fries with the Pirri Pirri Sauce best because it was just something different. The fries with the cheeseburger flavor and the fruity, spicy, yet creamy Pirri Pirri Sauce, which really packs a punch. In second place are the nuggets with the pepper sauce. The nuggets were delicious and had a good peppery taste, and the sauce itself was also really good, with a slight sweetness and a good peppery note without being particularly spicy. They lose points for the look, as they were artificially colored with vegetable charcoal, which I don't think is necessary. Third place goes to the Coke because it's nothing special but still doesn't taste like a classic Cherry Coke. Last place goes to the burger because, in my opinion, it was just a classic cheeseburger but without any sauce or other topping to round it out. All of this gets 3 out of 5 stars from me. Next time, we'll be back in August.

The food is okay: fries are hot, burgers are (lukewarm), nuggets are generally not particularly warm, but that's usually the case at other restaurants. Unfortunately, at least here, there's no longer an option to help yourself to napkins. If two people only get two napkins on their trays, I think that's a false economy. It's a finger food place, not a restaurant. Sure, you can ask and get some more, but that's not really necessary.

The staff changes frequently. Wait times for orders are always very long. Employees often forget to put out sauce, napkins, and toys.

Dirty restaurant, nuggets seem to have been cooked three-quarters of the way through in the fryer. The hamburger is old and hard, as is the inside of the hamburger. I would have given it less than one star if possible.

So the service needs to be improved. Nobody seems to want to work, and if you ask one question too many, you're treated even more rudely than before.

Thank goodness we only come here once or twice when we have to, but every time it's just not nice in this branch. Judging by its appearance, this is one of the worst branches we visit. The other day the toilet was inhumane and completely filthy; even a train station toilet is cleaner. When we pointed it out, we were just given a rude look. Today it was the outdoor playground. Apparently a child was throwing up there. When I pointed it out to the staff, all I got was a snide "OK." No "Oh, then we'll have to close it down," no "Thanks for the info, we'll look into it right away," etc. I realize that the visitors are to blame for it looking like this, but the staff's reactions are unfortunately always very unfriendly. The food there also feels so much worse than in other branches. It's a shame that the owner or McDonald's doesn't take better care of this branch.

I was really ripped off. I ordered a McFlurry and it was just a normal MCSundae ice cream with a few Oreo crumbs on it. It's really sad. The cast should be replaced and new ones put in.

I'd say Megge's standard. I'm giving it 5* because I didn't find the older reviews regarding unfriendliness and cleanliness to be that bad. Everything was perfect for us.

Absolutely disgusting place. Of the three stalls in the women's restroom, only one was open, and it was completely covered in pee and poop. There was dirt, toilet paper, and sticky floors everywhere. The diaper changing area was a mess of dirt and germs. I wouldn't change a child there. The staff, who were alerted to this, were rude, unfriendly, and rude. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while; I had to do it myself because otherwise my daughter would have wet her pants. To top it all off, my daughter got a bad orange juice with her Happy Meal. One star is already too many.

But McFlurry wasn't made correctly (only "twisted" once) and I ordered Smarties twice. Restaurant very clean. The rest of the food was all good.

Dirty shop, everything is disgusting. Seats and tables were dirty and after politely asking if you could wipe a table so you could sit down without feeling disgusted, you were disrespectfully turned away.

A McDonald's like any other. The staff was friendly. Ordering is very easy via the terminals. Table service is a good option. The toilets were clean.

A great McDonald's, the staff is friendly, nice and helpful. The food is always freshly prepared and even when there is a big crowd and there are lots of customers, you get your food quite quickly! It's supposed to be "fast food". The only drawback is the cleanliness of the tables and the toilet. But normally everything is fine here too!

I was here today and had ordered a chocolate milkshake with extra chocolate sauce but when I took a sip of it I wanted to spit it across the table. My mother then went to the counter to say that the shake was bad, but they didn't pay much attention to it. The man behind the counter shook the hoses of the machine and prepared a new one. But he was also angry, it was a shame to spend money for nothing and he was so excited about it. Because I actually find the shakes very tasty

Friendly and nice, unfortunately they can't keep up with cleaning and clearing the tables at lunchtime because 40% of the "nice" visitors leave everything behind. Collection notice has been broken for 2 1/2 weeks. New visit 10/05/24 Toilet and restaurant very dirty, ordered 2 MC ribs, one with way too much sauce, one with almost no sauce. Tablets with leftover food on the tables everywhere.

I would like to complain to an employee with a Ukrainian accent, we were in MC Drive, firstly we had to wait a long time until someone spoke to us to order, then when we were at the front of the window this woman shouted at us, such an outrage!!!!

The staff is very disrespectful. We had to wait 5-8 minutes in the queue until an employee spoke to us. When we ordered the food and drove up to the front, a very disrespectful woman came and was very rude to my uncle. The reason for this was that he didn't understand the lady and asked her what she meant as normal. I find it very ridiculous and disrespectful how anyone could hire such staff. I hope that the boss who is responsible for all this has consequences for the staff. I would be happy to hear back, thank you.

Very poor drive in service. Employees ask you several times to drive to the parking lot immediately after ordering, just to leave the sensor area. Very long waiting times because often only one order is taken and processed before the next order is taken

I ordered food (Hamburger Royal TS Menu and 2 apple turnovers) via Uber Eats last night...the apple turnovers and the Hamburger Royal TS were cold...it couldn't have been the driver's fault...he picked up the food straight away without stopping... An absolute no-go to take cold food with a delivery service! The food should be freshly prepared when ordering online... At the other McDonald's on Rodgaustr, the food is always warm when I order on Uber Eats....

Unfortunately, the staff wasn't present at all even though there were hardly any customers there (max. 3-5 customers in the entire restaurant) The burgers were more than well done and cold. The chocolate dounat had already been thawed once and cooled again. Chocolate was once again hard-formed and whitish. Also more than dry. Too bad.

Terribly wrong! I ordered three burgers, one TastyB and other M burgers. The two TB tastings were terribly oversalted, and that can't be a coincidence, because I know what kind of people are passing by. You don't deserve the job because you don't respect your customers. Just wanted to get iced coffee at the drive in, service and staff were nice and quick. BUT: It doesn't help if I discover on the way that the iced coffee is bad. Bad in the sense of spoiled... So unfortunately McDonalds isn't just good... I can't say anything about the ambience because I was only at the drive-thru.

It was a negative experience. The staff is rude, they throw food in bags. The staff doesn't smile, they just look at you with disgust. The screen said the order was ready, but we still had to wait another 10 minutes.

Warnung: Ekelhaft, vergammelt. Komplett weggeworfen. So ist die über 1 Stunde. Verspätete bei Lieferando bestellte Lieferung knapp umschrieben. Die Bezeichnung skandalös ist untertrieben. Nachdem die Lieferung zum angekündigten Zeitpunkt nicht kam, wurde vergeblich versucht, über die offizielle Telefonnummer die Niederlassung von McDonald’s in Hanau telefonisch zu erreichen. Niemand hob auch beim dritten Versuch ab. Daraufhin wurde der Franchise – Nehmer identifiziert und angerufen. Auch eher reagierte nicht. Über 1 Stunde verspätet traf dann die Lieferung ein. Begründet wurde die Verzögerung damit, der Boote und seine Kollegen seien erkrankt. Wahrscheinlich haben sie selbst an den so genannten Lebensmitteln genippt, für deren Auslieferung sie verantwortlich sind. Die Lieferung war komplett kalt. Die Platten, feinkörnig, kalten Fleischpads rochen muffig. Der Salat auf den Fleisch – Hamburger war ebenso verwelkt, wie auf einem Burger mit Huhn und einem mit Fisch. Angekündigte Saucen waren nur in homöopathischen Dosen feststellbar, die Kartoffeln weich, ölig und ebenfalls ungenießbar. Nachdem wir die Lieferung nach essbaren Teilen vergeblich durchsucht haben, haben wir sie komplett der Mülltonne anvertraut. Unsere Nasen meinen, dass wir vielleicht einen Fall für das örtliche Gesundheitsamt vorliegen haben, nicht aber für Essensbestellungen.

I am very disappointed, I come here so often but the employees at the checkout are very, very unfriendly. You get strange looks even though you smile at them and say thank you, they are very angry and unfriendly, the ladies don't give you a nice feeling and you feel very uncomfortable.

Was in this McDonalds branch on January 6th, 2023 around 6 p.m. I placed my order via an order terminal, paid just under €30 and also exchanged my app points. After 10 minutes a lady came to the table with the order, all well and good, Something was missing from the order, I walked up to the checkout and was stared at annoyingly. After a few minutes I got what was left of me and was looked at stupidly and the lady didn't apologize. There were probably no napkins in the entire restaurant... they were also missing and the self-service napkins set up in the store were also empty... At the end we wanted to buy a cookie at the checkout and also ordered it at the checkout. The lady was standing right in front of us and there was 1 larger order in front of us. After 20 minutes we had the biscuit. While waiting, you could see how the staff at the table dropped food, picked it up, AND served with respect. About 5 customers and all other employees saw this. You don't want to know what's going on in the kitchen. Cleanliness is probably not that important in this store... I'll never enter this store again. One stay and you get depression...

Friendly service, but unfortunately not the first time we've made a mistake when ordering. Not impossible given the number of orders, but if I get chicken nuggets instead of plant nuggets that's rough... Therefore one star. Such a mistake shouldn't happen!

The worst food! Ordered via Lieferando. The food was COLD, not lukewarm, but cold. And it was delivered well after the announced time. It was supposed to be there at 9:45 p.m. at the latest and arrived at 10:42 p.m. Sweet and sour sauce was ordered and sweet chili was delivered. Instead of the apple spritzer there was water. NEVER AGAIN!

The tables looked clean at first glance but up close they were all sticky. The floor was also sticky. The food: Fries didn't taste as usual, chicken nuggets were fried to death and the breading was way too hard and had no taste. The meat was also different than what I'm used to. The burgers were OK. Overall, today's visit was disappointing. No idea if the operator has changed. For me it's all over here, so I'd rather not eat anything or have some bread at home. Am very disappointed. The food is like everywhere else in the MC Restaurant. Service friendly😊, but unfortunately it is not clean on the tables, benches, chairs and on the floor. The ventilation system for drying hands doesn't appeal to me, I think paper towels would be better for the changing area next to the sinks.

Honestly? Nothing to complain about... BUT: With the McRib, the meat has to be covered in sauce. Please pay attention to the pictures about the Zheke. Don't just spread a spoonful of sauce over it. Sometimes the McRib is perfect. Not sometimes. But there's real sauce on request. So in the end everything is fine 😅
